That day, a girl leans on a tree in Miyashita Park. Honestly, if they were a little bit farther in the future in this impromptu date, they probably will be dating in more... modern looking place. Her eyes trailed at the roof garden that apparently would be new site for Miyashita Park. That place would be far more suitable for dates... But speaking frankly, Koharu have no idea what a "romantic" date is supposed to be. Zodiac said that Libras are people with tendency for romances and whatnot, but...
Fantasy is not Reality.
Her appearance here too actually simply because she was actually challenged to move on from her past. A past that she doesn't even remember how it tasted. Kon-chan suddenly brought a pile of card, told her to play with her and with a bet on line. She thought that it was a simple bet, turned out she goes all out, even cheating, and told her that she registered her for a random date.
...Fuck her life.
And what's worse, there was apparently a match in Tamernet... someone by name of msvo? Huh? What sort of name is that? Well, anyway, she guess that it won't hurt, so that's why she decided to wait here and all that.. here hoping that the guy is a good guy... and doesn't mind her otakuness.
Speaking of which, what does she wear today? It's her usual blue sleeveless A shirt, a parka, an amber necklace with bead necklace behind it... and long pants because it's winter. pretty much her usual getup! She have no idea how to dress after all, unless it's kimono, then leave it to her. But if it's casual dresses like this? Oh lord have mercy...
Speaking of which, sakura has bloomed early... it must because the cold... She wonder if she looked attractive enough... Mou.

A pretty tranquil day for something as interesting as a blind date. Magnus himself wasn't using anything overly complicated; a hoodie over what could be considered a pretty informal attire. Truth was that she didn't believe on dressing too fancily for ocassions like this one. After all; could anything really be expected from something like a blind date? Prooobably not.
That's why, after a shork trek off Shibuya's Train Terminal, the brunette found himself on Miyashita park, his eyes scanning the panorama in the search of who would be his date. Did he even know how she looked? Not at all, even though there was an accorded meeting point; by the shade of one of the park's oldest trees .
Just as expected, she was there. A somewhat petite girl dressed in a pretty interesting way. Kinda cute, if he had to say it,
"Heeey!" He greeted while waving his hand. A small smile was already forming on his face. "I'm msvo. My name's Magnus. Pleased to meet you."
After —if?— getting a positive response, a hand would be extended to help the girl out of the tree. "Shall we get going, then? Anything you'd like to do today? I'm not an overly picking person, honestly."
Would that begin the meeting with the right foot? Hopefully!

Interesting that someone would immediately know that it's her. She thought thanks to her (not so noticable) chest, someone would mistook her for a guy... Eh well! Now let's see who's her date... Koharu smiled and looked up... oh, she doesn't have to crane her neck to Ryouta level, that's good.... huh, the guy's looking quite cool... interesting. She hope that he's not the type that going to move real fast though...
"I'm amazed you can get the right person in first go. Hey, Haruchin here, otherwise known as Nakano Koharu, nice to meetcha!" Koharu grinned her trademark grin at this guy... Magnus was it? "Are you foreigner? Your Japanese is pretty good I say! Anyway, I don't have any sort of plan myself, pretty much just fetching some noms and maybe have fun in arcade or something? I'm... admittedly not used to all of this, you see!
I hope you're famished, because I do! Admittedly I feel like it's a bad idea to eat before a date, so I thought why not eat while on a date? It's easier to open up while eating after all!"
Koharu stretched a bit. "Well, then, where do you want to go to first? Me, I'm fine going anywhere, really!"
...Perks of having a lot of saving in the bank: You pretty much can have fun and just enjoy it.

A compliment so early, huh? Magnus couldn't avoid smirking at it.
"In all honesty, I wasn't sure if you were the right person. I just took a bet and it worked out; a combination of luck and having a good eye for cute girls, I'd say."
Mushy? Yes, but hey. It was probably an okay first compliment for a situation like this one. At the very least, the brunette could say that he was already entertained by the date he got. "Quite the introduction, Haruchin." He added, stifling a giggle by just a bit. "It almost sounds practiced; wouldn't be surprised if hosted some kind of entertainment show or something."
At least, right now, things were going fairly well. "Yeah, foreigner here. My appearance and my name kinda give me out, don't they? I'm actually Swedish. Hope that's not an issue!"
The plan seemed to have already been set in motion, even though it majorly wasn't his'. But it wasn't like that mattered, right? "I agree wholeheartedly. I'm kinda hungry, and an arcade sounds fine as well. After food, that is."
A thoughtful expression made its way towards his face. Of course, some details had to be confirmed first. "You aren't vegetarian or have fancy dietary restrictions, right? It'd be kinda embarrassing if we went to eat noodles if you were intolerant to noodles or something."
After gesturing at her, she began to walk in the commercial district's direction. Maybe they'd be able to stumble onto something that caught their interest! "Why don't you tell me a bit about you? You look quite like the busy lady, if I say so."
Business-minded, maybe? That would be interesting.

Cute? Koharu chuckled, moving some stray strands behind her ear.
"I don't think I have ever being called cute for some reason... probably have, probably not. But people usually called me handsome, for some reason... Well, I guess not so many said that since I stopped being in athletics club though! Well, anyway, I'll take that as a refreshing praise, albeit one that's rare honestly."
Practiced? "I mean, I probably could be a youtuber or something," Koharu joked. "But nah, i'm nothing like that. Not in any entertainment industry either. I couldn't play musical instrument, and my voice is sort of hit-or-miss kind... Oh!" she suddenly clapped. "But if it's Manzai then I'm really good at it!"
--if a certain dragon is here, she would probably Tsukkomi that so hard...
An issue? "Nope, not at all. I'm actually wondered if msvo was some sort of military lover or something... Military geek? Well it sounded something related to military?" she honestly commented. "So I was expecting some guy with a bit of a camo pattern and probably a dogtag or something~ But turned out not, I don't know it's a relief or not!"
And thankfully her suggestion is taken positively! She's glad! It would be bad if he already ate and forced to accompany her eating... Though, Koharu chuckled when he asked if he got any allergy.
"No, I don't have any, although I have this condition called double serving urge... yeah, if the food is good I'll probably ask for double serving~"
Ah... this is what she dreaded about... things about her.... "...Weeelll, let's see, I'm just a normal seventeen years old girl... A dreamer who used to be in track and field club, but eventually stopped after I feel like... my passion for it has diminished. I'm always an artist though, and well, I'm not a pro illustrator or even a painter, I'm simply a manga artist. Nothing big though! Just a little doujin now and then! But lately I'm interested in hospitality services. I'm planning to enroll in vocational school about hotel management, but that's still a year away!
What about you yourself, then?"

An eyebrow was quirked at Koharu's own comment. An interesting take, no doubt.
"Handsome...?" The word trailed off, uncertain. "Nah. Cute definitely fits you better. And yes! It's supposed to be a compliment; unless, for some reason, you don't like being called that? We might have a problem, in that case."
The teenager placed his hands on his back, walking ahead in a somewhat placidly way. "It wouldn't surprise me if you were a YouTuber, honestly! You have that natural charisma most of the good ones have, that much I can say." A pause followed the last comment, though. For a second, the brunette stared, perplexed. "Manzai, though? I guess you have a partner for that, then. That type of comedy is usually done in pairs, if I recall correctly. I can't imagine practicing alone being any fun. Or, is it? I'm curious about it."
One thing was for sure, though. This girl was managing to surprise Magnus fairly frequently. "Military... geek? Why would you be led to believe in something like that? Does msvo mean something related to the military? My imagination just sucks, so my online handle is just... my initials. Not very interesting, I know! But I guess that at least it made somebody scratch their heads in confusion. That can't be bad, right?"
No allergies. That was good. Double serving, though? That probably was encouraged! "Good. I don't want to feel like I'm the only one eating. Feels kinda bad when I do it, to be honest, even though I can kinda understand why..." Not like that mattered, however! "Anyway. I think I have a place in mind. Wanna follow me?"
As they walked, Magnus would hear what 'Haruchin' had to say about herself. Quite... normal, if anything? It wasn't like she expected anything more or less from that. "Sports-y girl who calmed down, huh? Happens. What really matters is finding something worthy of your time and energy. As long as you think you're pursuing that, you can't go wrong, y'know?"
Overall, the ambiance of their conversation seemed to be rather relaxed. That felt kinda nice, didn't it? Soon, Magnus' own question would be turned back onto himself. "What about me, well..."
What even to say? For a moment, the young man seemed somewhat thoughtful. At least until he finally spoke. "I'm a foreigner, who had more or less a normal childhood; wasn't bad, but I think that I didn't excel at anything in particular. I'm a tad plain like that, I guess? I'm currently studying business administration at uni, and doing fairly well there. As far as my experience goes, something unexpected happens every time I plan on doing something, so right now I'm playing things as they go."
Laid-back? For sure. But that was kinda how the guy was. Not much purpose on hiding it. "Opening a resort seems like quite the ambitious project, though. I like it. Do you have any details in mind? I wouldn't mind hearing about them."
By now, the duo was well on their way towards Shibuya's commercial district. Soon enough, they'd reach their destination.

"Hey, you should probably see how I dressed usually. This one is a bit casual and more cute because I want to look cute, but normally it's like... you know, jeans, parka and glasses deal. If I go out after tidying myself some, I'd look like a dude. If I don't I just looked like a sloppy otaku," she joked. "Actually, I like being called cute, but I don't expect that it worked out that well!"
Hmmm, a youtuber huh. Koharu stopped a bit, looking up with her index finger pressing on her cheek. "Hmmm? If I become one, I wonder what's my channel about? I'm not sure if people like seeing pla-mo like Gunpla or something like that... I guess I can do a bit of arting here and there? But then again my drawing is not all that great... I guess livestreaming my art sounds good... Oh maybe I can manza---"
there's something seem coming out from her earpiece that made her wince. "Ahaha, well you see, you found me on Tamernet, you should already know that I'm not "alone" in that aspect, do you?"
Military geek question, well... "That sounded like some codename you use on ballpaint war probably~? I never been actually go to one, maybe if this date works out, we can one day try it or something?" Koharu joked. "I have to say though..." her expression shifted into sly one "I'm good at marksmanship. If I have to say, I'm quite good at aiming and shooting, but that's for games obviously~"
Ahaha, quite the normal guy huh? "Well, for better or worse, today I'm going to make your day more interesting! Many people called me weird already~"
Oh guy got appetite? "I mean I don't mind if you're the only one eating, although I can understand how awkward it is to be the one who's eating alone. But don't worry, I don't have shred of shame in my appetite~ Though I guess nothing goes to over here..." Koharu rubbed her modest chest. "Pity."
"If anything I haven't calmed down, just... probably have a lot of things on my plate is all," Koharu answered scratching her head. "How to say... when your day is divided into making manga, or do some adventuring with intense physical activity, running seem to be... absolutely effortless by comparison you know? Sure it's fun to just run without any sort of stress baggage, but if I were to told to compete when I just want to run for fun? Isn't that like triple the stress?"
Quite the normal guy huh. "Are you veteran or are you a newbie?" Koharu asked. "Because from that it sounded like you just on the doorstep of 'whatever happened in the other world' thing... My friend told me there are four phases to this. First one is 'Oh it's cool, it's an isekai!', second one is 'oh damn all my plans is ruined, but I still have to play by ear', third one is 'goddamn, all is suck, and yet I kept coming back', fourth one is 'hey, newbie, new here?'"
Oho, trying to get a businesswoman to talk? "Well, you're learning business, I guess I could talk it with you, but first and foremost, we got to eat~ I'm not in mood to brain and unload without food~!"

A shrug was the only answer Magnus felt was fitting for Koharu's comment. "I'm not anyone to comment on anybody's style. Only thing I can say is that I like what I see, and that's good enough for me. And it seems like it is for you as well, so I'll take it."
Was he risking sounding like a simpleton? Sure, but coming with a long-winded explanation on something as simple as what he thought of somebody's appearance wasn't fitting for casual conversation. Better to keep it short, right? It might be kinda tasteless otherwise.
As he prepared himself to respond to the girl's own query, the brunette found himself freezing in response to the fact he should know she's got some partners when it comes to her 'manzai antics', if they could be called as such. "Actually... I don't know your Tamernet handle. Let's just say that I haven't been the owner of my D-Terminal as of late, if that makes any sense. You can credit a cheeky girl for the fact I'm here, for better or worse; I didn't even know I was supposed to have a blind date until earlier today. Hope that's not an inconvenience, though!"
No reason to lie about it, right? It wasn't like that was that big of a deal, in all honesty. Unlike how he had unfairly dubbed as some kind of military geek or something; that's the strangest thing he'd been called in a while, in all honesty. He had to admit one thing, however. "I mean, even if I'm not what you thought, sure. We could try paintball at some point. I've heard it's very fun, even though most people end up super tired about it." He had to make a pause, a somewhat pensive, yet teasing smirk taking over his features for a bit. "Good at marksmanship, huh? Maybe you're the military geek and agreed to date me because you thought I was one as well? That'd have been fun."
The young man seemed completely unperturbed at the following statement. If anything, he seemed to be curious about it. "We'll see about that. Can't say I'm not looking forward to it." He was about to add something else to it, weren't it for the fact that she decided to comment on... quite the interesting fact regarding her dietary habits and her bust size.
Quite thrown off, he just stared at her blankly. Was there really something he could say? "Yeah, what a pity..." Parroting her words didn't seem like something particularly sharp to do, but what else could he say? At, he managed to get back into the game as soon as the topic was changed. "That's fair. I'm not an overly competitive person myself, so I can't really see the charm on it, but each to their own, I guess. If you like how your life is right now, then there's no reason to change it in the slightest, you know? I currently like my life how it is."
By now, the group was nearing a nice-looking restaurant. "I guess you could say I'm a newbie. I don't think I have much experience when it comes to the Digital World, and I like to take things one step at a time, so there's that. I'm not too concerned about the whole deal. It'll be as it has to, you know? Expecting anything more or anything less doesn't feel fitting. How about you? You look like you had your fair share of adventures already."
It was by then when they were at the place's door. "Do you like yakitori? I've always wanted to try it."

"Ha, I only show on what I'm comfortable with, so don't worry. I wouldn't come here dressed in a dress even if it's to impress, I'm sorry. Those doesn't suit me. Clothes, like they said, either make or break the person. Western style one doesn't suit me, but apparently yukata are fine, but that's not the kind I want to wear on intro like this."
Koharu's answer certainly a hint that she really isn't a type that like to go on a formal party or something.Though, the admission that the guy doesn't know her handle? That... makes Koharu raises an eyebrow. "...Huh, so was it that I chatted with someone that's either your mom or your partner?" Koharu definitely joked for the former. "Or a sister perhaps? Eh well... I guess that's fine. I'm more the type that prefers direct talking than messaging anyway."
Paintball is fine? "Hehe, well, then if this first meeting gone smoothly, I'll have to ask you for that then! I got no one to accompany me lately because most of my friends are busy with finals!"
Though his theory.... "Nah, I'm just a gunpla fanatic," Koharu joked. "Well, not THAT bad, but I got numbers of them in my room, painted them, customized some, and maybe I'm planning to enter a contest with them or something? Or maybe ... just make a youtube channel? Who knows."
...she wasn't expecting her joke to be returned with that sort of reply tho! "...Tsk, what's this, you're in the busty gal faction after all?" Koharu pouted. "Just right after I thought we could get along really good too too...hmph, well, at least you're not the one who first commented to it, so that's fine."
Hmmm, about her? "...I was told that indeed I was a veteran, but it doesn't feel like that at all. If I have to say I lost my memories. So whatever happened... I don't remember most of it. I do have my share of adventures though... albeit, I must say, they're not exactly the fondest kind."
Talk about food is enticing though. "Sure, that's fine. So are we going to a place with Yakitori? A Yakiniku join then?"

If anything, Koharu seemed like a very authentic girl. She didn't seem to be bound or shackled by how others perceived her, and mostly went with doing her own thing. That was... quite nice, all things considered.
"I see. It think it's nice to know yourself to the point you're clearly aware of your comfort zone; especially when it comes to clothes, y'know? It's a recurring issue with a most girls, as far as I've seen."
What regarding the next comment issued by her? A shrug was promptly issued by Magnus. "I could be anyone from my ten or so partners; sadly, I can't tell for sure since they all are able to be quite mischievous when they want to. And the worst part is that they all play as accomplices of each other, so I can't even t"ry to pinpoint the culprit. But it's not like that matters at the moment, though! If I didn't want to come here, I wouldn't be here, so I hope that how things started isn't that much of a problem. I prefer talking over electronic messaging as well, so that works."
It seemed like his suggestion was taken fairly well, too! Maybe Magnus wasn't so clueless as to how to get along with others. "Well, of course! If this didn't end well, I doubt you'd want to see my face ever again. You've got yourself a deal, though. I wouldn't mind hanging out with you if this one ends well, but we'll see!"
Girl likes modeling, huh? That's a very interesting hobby, even if not one he'd have chalked to them usually. Of course, that only resulted on piquing the brunette's interest. "That's interesting. I knew I was onto something when I said you might be youtuber!" He said, a hint of smugness in his voice. "I'd like to see them someday. I'm sure that your collection is quite impressive."
Their conversation eventually resulted in a... somewhat awkward topic, however! Why they were talking about a girl's bust size? Magnus was quick to interrupt his reverie. "You're quick to assume things, aren't you?" He remarked, a smirk obvious on his face. Maybe the girl was a little embarrassed about this fact of hers, even though she went as far as to use it in an attempt at self-depreciating humor? "Maybe. Maybe not; I guess you'll have to eventually find out."
Partnerships seemed like a topic that was maybe a bit too sensitive for Koharu, so he left it there and focused on the most important topic. "Yup! Pretty much. Hope that's okay by you, because we're entering."
The restaurant itself had a pretty homey appearance, with modules for from varying amounts of people, all of them enjoying a certain degree of privacy. A pretty smart design, were he to remark on it. "Anyway. Feel like sitting in any place in particular? I don't."
For now, his stomach was occupying most of the space he used for coherent thoughts. The sooner Magnus ate, the sooner he'd be able to think about how the conversation had just been hung up there. And remedy it, hopefully!

"Let me level with you for a bit," Koharu started "Date only last for some time of the day. Sure the impression will be carried off until the end of the relationship or maybe beyond, but in my book... I want to give best impression of me when I go for a date. That means no wound, no "I need you to carry me to some chair so you can treat my chaffed heel". I repeat, date only last for some time, but hurting heel going to kill you for three more days to a week, no thank you."
All of that is delivered quite passionately, but somehow, there's a tone of playfulness in it, as if she's trying to lighten the mood. True enough, she sticks her tongue soon after.
"Hmm, so you're a general! Come to think of it, how does it feel to be a general?" she asked. "From how you said it, it sounded like you have tons of sister-like figures... Or at least it sounded like that to me. It felt like just like a sister to force their brother to go on a random date suddenly, you know? And act like cupid."
Pffft, don't want to see someone's face again huh... "...Well, how to say, I wouldn't say I wouldn't want to see your face anymore if it doesn't go well. Doesn't go well can also mean that we're not fully 'click', but ends the date in more platonic tone... but at the same time...if it does goes really bad, I think I'd even block your entry from my city... hmmhmm... is that fine?"
Well, he might be right, but... "Well, I'm not a youtuber... yet, maybe?" Koharu puts a pensive index finger on her cheek. "Though I think it'll be fun to just do it you know?"
Hmph, type that assumes thing a lot? "Well what else can I assume when you said "it's a pity" like that? It definitely sounded like you belonged to other camp!" Koharu retorted. Either way, she feigned offense and walked faster.
"I don't have any particular seating place in mind, to be honest. Let's just make this clear. How are we settling this? Pay by ourselves? Because at any rate, I'll going to order some premium beef. Excuse me! Give two orders of australian beef and a bowl of rice please!"
-Already? Well, Koharu doesn't seem to mind.

Magnus found herself pondering the meaning behind Koharu’s words for some moments. Maybe she was getting a bit ahead of herself? It was hard to tell. “I guess that’s fair enough. Nobody wants for their feet to hurt as far as I’m aware.” He commented with a chuckle. “Especially for somebody who they have known for less than a hour. Not a very good deal, if you ask me.”
Overall, it didn’t seem like the young adult was taking his peer’s words too seriously. Like this should be, probably! At least, such a potentially awkward topic gave way to… the fact that Magnus was one of those so-called generals. All in all? As far as he was aware…
“It didn’t feel any different than the usual, at least thus far; from what I’ve gathered, the only thing that I gotta have into account is that I’ll have to deal with a progressively higher number of digimons as time passes. But other than that? Things couldn’t be more fine, considering the isekai deal and all that. But yeah, as of late, I feel like I have to constantly take care of a slew of younger sisters. It’s a bit problematic, especially when they think you should get a girlfriend just so they have more time to be mischievous little rascals.” And, after a small pause, he added. “How about you? Do your digimon treat you well?”
This girl was quite the handful, wasn’t she? “I mean. If you think it’ll be fun, no reason to not do it, right?”
Overall, it seemed like the two had engaged into what, by all means and purposes, looked like a bout of banter. Was that a good or a bad thing? At least, at the moment, there was no way to know. “Well, you’re the one who said it first!” He immediately retorted. “That’s a bit of a double standard, don’t you think? Why would it be fine for you to say it and not for me? Sides, the situation was totally prompted by you. You can’t deny that.”
Once inside the food establishment, Koharu seemed to be on a hurry to discuss how their expenses should be paid? As far as Magnus was aware? That was the least of his worries, but it seemed like money was a big deal for the girl, so he decided to humor her.
“Couldn’t care less, in all honesty.” A grin followed suit. “And don’t think you’re the only person who’s gonna order good food.”
Once both their orders arrived, one could say that they were pretty comparable, overall, even though Magnus’ was notably less abundant when it came to beef, favoring other meats instead.
”Itadakimasu, I guess.” It was only a matter of seconds before he began to dig in. Once the initial feeding frenzy had been satiated, he brought himself to ask. “So, how is your partner like? They must be pretty interesting, if they hang out with you.”

"Right? Right? Actually, that goes to you too. If you want to go an this meeting with a sandal, as long as you go wear something matching for once, I wouldn't be in opposition. Wear what you're happy with, and as long as it doesn't clash, I think it's great enough! Show proper respect to the one that you wanted to meet, but at the same time also prioritize your own comfiness!" she seems to be proud of what she said as she puffed her (very modest) chest slightly.
"My Digimons huh? Honestly they're the more responsible ones in our relationship. How to say, it's like having two older siblings I guess? Digimons grew fast mentally at times, at least mine did that is... One is probably far older than me, so that's given. it feels like they support me more than I support them. They said to not worry, but I do tend to worry... I... don't really want to be just the one taken care of you know? I want them to also... learn more of their own passion and have other life just beside... sticking with me and all that."
There was a pensive pause from Koharu as she put an index finger on her cheek and tilted her head while looked with upturned eyes to the sky. "....I'll think about it for sure."
Though at the banter, she would slow down her footsteps and turned around to face him "There's this one called things that you shouldn't say to girls you know! Same things like things that you shouldn't say to boys because it would hurt their pride!" she answered seriously... but then before long she broke into a grin and stuck her tongue out. "That being said, you're absolutely right! I was the one who started it! ...But it doesn't mean that you should so readily agreed to it! If I was any other girl, I'd be unreasonably mad!
...But then again, I guess I'm pretty much someone who uses this to break the ice quicker, nihihihi~"
Once her order came, Koharu immediately grilled them like how she liked it. She hummed lightly as her legs sways back and forth.
"Ehehehe, heaven on earth~ Good food is indeed good recipe for life!"
How's her partner like is it? Koharu laid the first cooked premium beef slice on an egg yolk dip and put it above her egg. "Hmm, let's see... I got two partners. Kon-chan is the more serious one, Warg is the more lax one. Kon-chan basically feels like a nagging big sis who always tells you to shape up, but easily get swept to the situation. Fool around too much and she would immediately get swept in the mood and start retorting at you nonstop, it's humorous. Warg on the other hand usually the one who teases her a lot and fool around. He always follows me up whenever I'm in mood to play around. Outside of that however he's wise, and basically a calm older brother type. Apparently moist Guilmons are quite... what's the word? Puppylike? But Warg is anything but. He's kind of... you know, those well dressed dudes that totally would make the mood in party or something? Does that makes sense? It's a bit hard to explain really. What about yours? Anyone in particular that came to mind?"

Girl was a bit of a whirlwind, wasn’t she? Keeping up with her was proving to be quite the challenge, but it wasn’t a taxing one. In a sense, it was quite refreshing, wasn’t it? “Will have that one in mind. Sounds like a nice philosophy to abide by, if you ask me; ‘Respectful Comfort’, huh?” He couldn’t help laughing a bit at those gestures. There was definitely an air of confidence in them, and he could definitely appreciate that.
A subtle correction had been issued. Partners; and two at it! That was extremely interesting! “Most partnered digimons happen to be pretty old, don’t they? I’ve yet to meet any that were in their first lives. I feel like that’s fascinating, even though I wonder if there’s any explanation for it.” He made a pause, looking at the girl thoughtfully. “I don’t think they see you as a burden, though; I think that they’re aware that they’ve walked this lane for far longer than you, and want to make your life easier when they can, you know? I really doubt this is a permanent arrangement for them, and they probably think they have all the time in the world to do their thing if needed. However…”
Sometimes feelings didn’t necessarily heed to logic. That’s just how things are sometimes. “If you feel uncomfortable with this, you should probably tell them about it. If they’re as smart as I think they are, they’ll probably understand your position, and look to support you while not forsaking their interests. If a balance of sorts could be reached, I feel like that’d be the best for both parties.”
A small smirk took over the male’s features. What Koharu said was true, sure. But that wasn’t the only truth in that argument. “I agree. But I also think that’s not a good habit to have, either.” A shrug followed right away. “Fishing compliments with self-depreciation, I mean. Somebody as pretty as you resorting to such a tactic is kinda dissonant to me. But I digress.” Those words could be taken either as a compliment or as an insult. It was no doubt a slippery slope, but also quite the test of personality, wasn’t it?
Koharu was a quirky girl, but definitely not a bad person. Sides, he could certainly appreciate somebody who was aware of the finer things in life, such as a good meal. The descriptions about Warg and Kon-chan were extremely interesting. “All in all, you seem pretty fond of them. That’s a good thing! I’ve heard that some people constantly bicker with their partners, and that makes me a bit sad.” In between bites, he thought about his own relationship with his partners. Was there anything noteworthy about it? Probably! “I’ve not been with them for as long as you’ve been with yours, so our relationship is kinda still on its initial stages, but I can say that without a shadow of doubt that they’re all excellent girls, and that I wouldn’t exchange them for anything.”
Could he really describe them as effectively as Koharu did, however? Well, he could certainly try. “Katherine’s the type of person who won’t stop at anything to accomplish what she wants. She’s loud and vivacious, but also a gentle girl; she wouldn’t ever turn down a friend in need, even though she has the penchant of doing things her own way. I doubt she’ll ever do ill to anyone though. Willingly, at least.” Probably a long way to say that she was a handful, though. “Akemi’s a lot more demure; she rarely speaks unless she’s surrounded by people she trusts, but she’s an extremely sharp and compassionate mind. It’s a pity that she always gives the wrong impression due to her appearance, but I think that the people who misjudge her for it aren’t worth a lot, anyway. So, even if indirectly, I feel she’s doing us a favor just by being herself. I hope she eventually figures that one out, though.”
All in all, they were a pretty peculiar pair of sisters, yet one that Magnus didn’t regret meeting. He could proudly say he had bettered himself as a person thanks to them. “Food’s excellent, isn’t it? I wouldn’t mind coming to this place more frequently.” He idly commented several seconds after he finished his description. “It may be a tad nosy on my side, but what do you plan to do regarding the Digital World? Since you lost your memory, one could think you’re not thrilled about the place, but… you don’t sound hindered at all by it. I’m pretty surprised at that, honestly.”
The male himself didn’t know if he’d go back there after an event like that, but luckily, that decision hadn’t been forced on him.

"Yeah! Respectful comfort! Don't attend your prom night with pajama just because it looked a little bit like a fancy gown!" she joked. "Prom night isn't a culture here in Japan, but the first time I heard it, it sounded like some completely stiff way to graduate... so we joked that if we could go there with our sleep gown or something, as long as it's fancy enough. But I guess that would be way too much huh?"
Though, Magnus' conclusion made Koharu tilts her head. "Really? I mean, are partnered Digimons often that old? In case of the latter, Warg I mean, that's true. But Kon-chan admitted that this is her first life. Though, if I could guess, it's probably dealing something about the digiivce. Apparently it's something like... I would say... something close toa user manual in Digimons? Some DIgimons doesn't came with that and is completly in blank state."
While the first half is assuring, the last part made Koharu pause a bit. ...Not a permanent arrangement huh... in what way? She hope that they understood that evetually the adventure will came to an end and they will retire, each with their own life and goal, but still together and as a family. Not... forever separated. That's such a bullshit. They said separation is part of growing, but it doesn't mean that you have to be separated for the rest of your life after what you have gone through together. That... that's just really sad as if saying that the journey doesn't matter in the end.
...But eventually Koharu just put away those thought. She might have misunderstood, so she simply ask "in what way? Permament arrangement I mean." though the second talk does indeed bring much more sincere smile from the short haired girl.
"That's the plan indeed, yes."
Not a good habit to have? She tilted her head. What, breaking the ice? Though being called cute suddenly made Koharu blush. "W-wha!? Me? Cute? M-mou! What kind of thing you're saying at the first meeting? Anyway, other girls are doing it to fish for compliments, but I won't do that you know! Like I said, it's for ice breaking, i-c-e b-r-e-a-k-i-n-g!" Koharu defensively retorted. There's a certain haste to her voice that indicates how she really trying to steer the conversation away from being called cute. "P-plus it's not good habit for a hottie like yourself to tease a girl you know! That's a sign of a womanizer if you get too used to it!"
At the restaurant, Koharu tilted her head in puzzlement when he talks about bickering. "Hmmm? I guess the bickering that you meant is the more serious one? I mean, I guess I and my partners bickers quite a lot, but it's usually just the usual siblinglike stuff you know?T here's disagremeent here and there, but it wans't like... we going to split up and go our own way for the day by saying something like "buttface!" and storm off in a huff. We bicker, but I think it will just end up with calling each other silly names, nothing big. Eventually we'll make up. I thik it's just spice of life you know?
....But come to think of it, I wonder if I have ever met that sort of person before... I do know one who goes COMPLETELY off the other hand meanwhile... like, one that gets along too well, but definitely not going to grow... well. Does that makes sense? Like a coddling mother who gonna turn their daughte rcompletely nonfunctional without them. I think it's a theme in some manga, of women who want to turn their husbands into no-good person, in a sense that they're complete slob.
...I think this one didn't notice that, but that was how it feels to me."
Interesting partners.. So they're kind of like found family huh? "Sounds wonderful... thought it made me curious what is Akemi... what Diigmon she is I mean."
Koharu agreed to the notion of visiting the restaurant again with a 'mhm'. "But probably not too much on my side. I think I'll be running out of money sooner or later! If only they could exchange bits for Yen I'd be a billionaire by now! hut that's a good reason why they're not doing it for the first place... economy going to crash bwah...."
Her plan about Digital World? "...Funny you asked... actually... uh... I might have a lead regarding my lost past that... I'd like to discover more.... It... It might be going to be a journey, and I might going to get thrusted into dangerous situation. But.... you know? No reward without risk. If the risk is not there then it's probably karma. But even then... I feel like for something this huge you need to actively look for it... so I'm going to do that exactly. Actively looking for clues.... Do you think that I'm being too bullish on this?"
