The entertainment district was Kiyo's favourite place to be. She loved the lights and the general excitable atmosphere. She came here regularly with her friends for group outings, it had everything one could possibly want or need to have a fun night out. But today, on Valentines Day, there were hundreds of hearts stuck to nearly every surface. Romantic movies were playing at the cinema, and Kiyo swore she saw someone walking around dressed like cupid.
Kiyo was dressed for a fun time with a friend, a light, pale red, long-sleeved t-shirt covered over with a black leather jacket. Short red and black checkered skirt and tights with her favourite pair of high tops. But of course, as was her luck recently, her friend bailed at the last minute.
Honestly, he had sounded rather ill, and she didn't blame him. But as they were going out on one of those prepaid romantic dinners for two gifts, Kiyo felt a little obligated to see it through. They'd thought it would be a fun thing to do together since they were both single and loved to poke fun at all the mushy things couples did on this 'special' night. It was all paid for, so Kiyo thought why not, she just needed to find someone willing to tag along.
Kiyo was currently asking strangers, all of her other friends had declined. She approached a rather gorgeous woman, who seemed to be alone. "Excuse me? Sorry to bother you." She wore her widest and friendliest smile. "I have a meal for two already paid for, at the restaurant just around the corner. I don't want it to go to waste, so if you're not pre-occupied, would you be willing to have a romantic dinner with me?"
