Big Changes (Luneth Arrives)

It was midday in Rustport Town when a lone stranger strolled through. He was clearly at rookie level, a white metallic-looking dragon with blue eyes and a black belly, wearing a rather torn red cape with the hood over his head. This Digimon was on a quest, and was nearly towards the end of it. There was someone he was looking for.
His family.
The Hackmon walked into one of the local bars in Rustport, his presence fairly intimidating while his hood was on. He walked right up to the bartender, who was a Nohemon. The pupper Digimon gave the Hackmon a rather unapproving glare. "Can I... help you with something, sir?"
"I'm looking for information on a certain Digimon that I've heard lives around here. A Gatomon, goes by the name of Skye. Do you know anything about it?"
"Yeah, I see a Gatomon hanging around with a Shoutmon and a Chuumon from time to time. Dunno where they LIVE though. Probably have no home."
"Um, I think I know where," A nearby Sunflomon had said. "There's a ranch house on the outskirts of town, and I see a Gatomon enter there from time to time. Does that help?"
The Hackmon smiled. "Very. I thank you both for your service."
This strange Hackmon made his way over to the supposed ranch house outside of Rustport, which was actually there. The Hackmon just assumed he was given false information at first. He stopped right by the door and took a deep breath before knocking. If Skye were the one to answer it, Hackmon would take off his hood and look directly at the Gatomon.
"Hello there... you are Skye, right? My name is Luneth... and I'm your son."

Since the time of introducing her boyfriend Shoutmon to her old home of Luminas City last year, Skye the Gatomon had felt somewhat thunderstruck to realize how much it had changed since she had left there in her youth. These days, the skyborne city was... actually pleasant to live in now, especially in that its government had changed and they now had a much more tolerant society these days. Still though, she couldn't bring herself to move back there.
So therefore she and her companions Hickory the Chuumon and Jorge the Shoutmon settled themselves in the Western town of Rustport. Yes, it was often dry and hot, but, Skye tolerated these conditions. Namely because this was the closest civilization to the decayed edifices that once marked the place of her old civilization, the DWR. Plus, she felt that Rustport could do with some extra protection, given she could evolve to the Ultimate level now.
And so the trio had settled down with a ranch cottage on the outskirts of town. The building was relatively small, but big enough to accommodate three digimon, which was helpful because Hickory was only a foot tall. And so when Skye answered the knock at the door this day, she stared back at the Hackmon that was standing on her doorstep.
He introduced himself as "Luneth", and he claimed he was her son.
For a moment, Skye blinked with disbelief. How could this happen? She hadn't been at all intimate with Hickory or Jorge, whom she was convinced wouldn't be attracted to her at all frankly. And then she thought to Shoutmon, with whom she had been training with vigorously over the past year in an attempt to reach her next level of evolution. Only then did it become clear to her.
"Oh... so this is how Owen and Hikaru..." she whispered to herself in shock, realizing how this could have happened. She and Shoutmon had trained hard at some points, sometimes even breaking off fragments of the others' data, but Skye would always heal when it got too far. But... the fact that she and Shoutmon had bonded with each other so closely... if their data had escaped, bonded together and formed itself into a digiegg, as what happened with Owen and Hikaru's children, it was only logical that the same would happen to them.
The thing that clinched it was looking into Luneth's eyes. From what Skye knew, Hackmons usually had yellow eyes. But Luneth had blue eyes. In fact, looking at Luneth made her think of Shoutmon immediately. And then there was the familiarity with his data. Yes, in that moment, Skye recognized him as her son.
"W-well then..." she answered in response, still struck by the significance of it all. "Please, come in... Luneth. I... honestly don't know what to say though, but, somehow I feel that what you're saying is true."
"Who is it, Skye?" Jorge asked from the living room.
"My son, I think." Skye answered. There was a pause before the more high pitched voice of Hickory made itself known.
"Well, I think we'd better catch up on this DVD I found upstairs, I think, you agree, Jorge?" he asked. Jorge agreed, the Shoutmon and Chuumon excusing themselves for the moment. Skye was grateful to them for that, then led Luneth to her living room.
"I suppose... the first thing I'd like to ask you is, how did you come to this conclusion?" Skye asked the Hackmon that she thought was very likely to be her son.

Luneth knew that it was going to be quite a shock for Skye to hear this. It was a shock for Luneth himself to learn as well. He simply waited and allowed her to recompose herself before continuing. She mentioned something about an "Owen" and a "Hikaru", and with that Luneth tilted his head in confusion. "Owen? Hikaru?"
Skye had looked into Luneth's eyes and seemingly accepted the fact that Luneth was telling the truth. She invited the Hackmon inside, claiming to be speechless but feeling like Luneth was telling the truth. "I was in shock as well when I found out, Mother... is it okay if I call you that, or...?"
Luneth heard voices coming from what he assumed to be the living room, asking who had just come in. Skye replied truthfully, and after that a Shoutmon and a Chuumon would be seen leaving the room. Luneth questioned if that Shoutmon was his father at first, but he wasn't entirely sure yet. I hope I didn't make her feel uncomfortable... Luneth thought as he looked at his mother.
The Hackmon walked into the living room and sat down on the couch like a dog would sit on the floor. Skye asked how Luneth came to think that Skye was her mother. "It started in the Village of Beginnings. After I became Hackmon, Elecmon noticed that my eyes were blue instead of yellow. His first thought was that of corrupted data, since there had been Digimon like that before. He found out that some of my data was shared with two others: a Shoutmon and a Gatomon. And that meant I had parents. It wasn't easy tracking you down, I admit... took me three months to even get here. But now... I'm 100% confident that you are my mother."

After Skye had uttered the words, she realized she had said them out loud to the Hackmon. "Ah, right. Owen and Hikaru are friends of mine, they also have children." she explained. Close friends at that, seeing as she had been invited to their wedding.
Then she invited him into her home. Skye's cheeks flushed red when he called her "mother". At first, she found that word strange and alien. But... then the warmth behind it settled in. Skye had parents of her own, once, and she loved them very much. The possibility that another digimon might think about her the same way was... wonderful.
"If you want to call me 'mother', that's fine by me." she replied with a smile. "It's simply the truth after all."
Jorge was most certainly a different Shoutmon to Luneth's father, namely that he was once the king of a now-sunken kingdom. In time, he would want to get to know Luneth and indeed his father better, but, he knew that now was not the time, and Skye and Luneth should be given time alone together.
Skye, grateful for this, turned to Luneth as he explained the situation to her. Apparently it was down to the fact that he was a blue-eyed Hackmon that had put the initial Elecmon down the trail.
"Yes, I see." Skye nodded. "I visited the Village of Beginnings once myself. That was... somewhat painful.". She sighed and shook her head. "There I found a Meicoomon that had recently evolved to Rookie. She was being shunned from the Village so I tried to help her, but... turned out that she was a cold-blooded killer and almost loaded a baby digimon. I stopped her in time, but... god... those few moments were horrifying."
Skye had received thanks and a digimental for those actions. But still, she wished it had never come to that.
Luneth claimed that he had spent three months trying to find her, and that he was completely confident that she was his mother. Given his explanation of this path, and that she could sense the familiarity in their data, and that she could sense some of Shoutmon in him as well, she believed it.
"Alright then. Well, it's something of a sudden first greeting, but, I'm glad to meet you, son." Skye said, smiling. "Now, is there anything I can get for you? Food? Drink? Stories?" she offered.

"Hopefully I'll get to meet them one day, then. Both them and their kids. How many do they have?" Luneth would definitely not be prepared for this answer at all.
The Hackmon noticed his mother's cheeks turn red when he called her... well, "mother", and in turn that made Luneth's cheeks turn red as well as he looked away. He should've figured it was too soon and too sudden to start calling her that. However he was surprised when Skye said she was fine with it. Luneth looked back, the blush now gone. "Well... okay then, Mother."
After he explained his story, Skye brought up one of her own about a trip to the Village of Beginnings. She said she had met a Meicoomon that had been shunned by the others there, and Skye tried to help her before the Meicoomon was revealed to be a bloodthirsty killer, almost loading a baby Digimon. Luneth looked to be in absolute shock by this story. "That's horrible... how could a Rookie instantly become a killer? I don't ever wish to be put in a situation like what you went through."
Skye said she was glad to meet Luneth despite this meeting being sudden. "I know, I am not the best at socialization." She then asked if Luneth needed anything, like food or drink. "No no, I am perfectly fine."
Grrrrrroowwwl...
Luneth's lie was immediately revealed once his stomach growled loudly. He put his right paw onto his belly and sighed. "Dammit... I'm starving. Haven't eaten since yesterday..."

Skye paused for a moment while she considered the last news she had from Owen. "Last time I saw them, they had 13 children." she said. "Of course they'd want to have more, 13 being such an unlucky number. But, yes, they have a rather big family, and they're happy, so I don't question them too closely about it." she shrugged as if it were none of her business.
After they were left alone, Skye told Luneth the story of what went down at the Village of Beginnings. After doing so, she felt a little bit of regret, she shouldn't tell such a thing so soon with her newly discovered son, but, that was the kind of person that Skye was. If a subject was brought up, if she could relate to it, she'd speak about it.
Still, his question deserved an answer. "Sometimes, digimon just aren't raised right." she explained. "Or they might have an anomaly in their data. This Meicoomon was simply... wild. It didn't know reason or restraint, and had only instinct, so I intervened. In doing so, I received the Digimental of Responsibility." she sighed, looking out the window. "I hope that Meicoomon was made right in this reconfiguration." she finished.
Luneth then lied about not wanting any food or drink, then thankfully corrected it with the truth. "Heh. I think if you want a healthy mother-son relationship with me, Luneth, I think you should be more honest." Skye remarked. "Here, come with me into the kitchen. What would you like?" she might have a rather small fridge and pantry, but there was enough food stocked for herself, Jorge and Hickory for a week, so there was plenty there for Luneth as well.
"Please, feel free to pick anything you want. I'd like the first meal I make for you as your mother something you enjoy." the Gatomon smiled.

Now, Luneth was expecting his mother to say that Owen had one kid, or two, or possibly even three or four. It took him a little bit to process what Skye had actually said. Thirteen kids. Thirteen. Kids.
"...you're joking, correct?" Luneth asked, not fully believing Skye's words himself. "Thirteen children? How is that even remotely possible?"
Skye's story left Luneth asking how a Rookie could be that violent. She told him that it may not have been raised right, or it might have an anomaly in its data. She said the Meicoomon was wild, didn't know reason or restraint, so she had to step in before someone else got hurt. Luneth was glad she did that, made him look up to her in a more heroic light, but still... it wasn't a pretty story. "I don't think I would have the guts to do what you did, Mother."
Speaking of guts, Luneth's pretty much revealed his lie about not being hungry when he completely was. Skye said that she would prefer it if he was more honest with his mother from now on. "It wasn't my intent to be dishonest, Mother. I just did not wish to intrude more than I already have... my stomach disagrees with me, however."
The Hackmon followed Skye into the kitchen, with her saying that Luneth could have anything he wanted out of the fridge and pantry. Luneth's mouth was drooling when he opened the fridge and saw all the goodies inside it. "I-I can't decide... how about you make me one of your favorites? I'm not picky at all."

Skye had wondered that question herself, why in the digital world would Owen would want to have so many children. But that question had been answered one day when she visited him, seeing him sitting in a large armchair with a book on his lap, his twin sons Matty the Onmon and Jimmy the Musimon on the armrests looking on eagerly as their father read them a fairy tale. The Gatomon couldn't bring herself to interrupt until he had finished. It was clear that he just loved having children.
"I guess it's because we grow quickly." Skye shrugged. "Owen explained it to me pretty clearly. Humans usually get 18 years to bond with their kids. Us digimon normally just get 1 or 2 before they're strong enough to leave the nest. I can't fault the guy for going by that logic."
Skye felt... somewhat warm by Luneth's praise of how she handled the wild Meicoomon. She had regretted that act of violence for so long, but, she hadn't broken taboos in her actions. That Meicoomon had been prevented from taking another life, and would hopefully retain enough of that lesson to not repeat it when reconfigured. She only gave a smile in response.
Her smile grew when Luneth assured her he didn't mean to lie, just to not intrude on her hospitality too far. "Oh, Luneth, you're my son, I honestly have all the time in the world for you, so no need to worry about that." she assured him.
After being presented with the stock of food available, Luneth admitted that he didn't know what to pick. And so Skye responded with zeal. "Very well, I'll cook you your very first home-cooked meal." she declared, selecting the ingredients for herself. "It'll be balanced in nutrients, prepared with knowledge I've retained from my own parents, and I'll do my best to make it delicious."
The recipe Skye had in mind was a "Luminas Laksa", namely a spicy noodle soup, rich with flavour. Her own mother had taught her the recipe, and now that she had a son, was eager to prepare it for him.
Skye busied herself in the kitchen for half an hour, getting the spices just right, chopping the ingredients properly, boiling it all together, then finally was separating the soup from the pot to two bowls. She had an inkling she got it right from the incredible smell lingering in the kitchen. It was so strong that Jorge and Hickory emerged from the upper storey, mouths drooling. "You get the leftovers." Skye told them. Pouting, they retreated.
"Here we go, Luneth, hope you like it." Skye said, presenting his bowl. In turn, Skye gripped chopsticks in her paws and savoured the flavour of the noodles she ate. Hopefully Luneth would share this opinion.

"So... your friend wishes to prolong the feeling of raising children?" Luneth asked. "I can see where he is coming from, but on the other hand... thirteen children is a lot. I'm not trying to come off as rude to him, Mother, but I'm just having trouble comprehending it."
So far, Luneth was happy about the decision to finally come and meet his mother. She was really nice and brave, everything Luneth himself wanted to be. There's just one thing left... "So, if I may ask... do you by any chance know where Father is? Or how to get a hold of him?"
The Hackmon was excited about the prospect of eating a home cooked meal. The only things he had eaten so far in his life were cans of DigiNoir, meat apples, and other random snacks here and there. Never a meal like Skye was planning to make before. Skye immediately got to work at making the dish. Luneth wanted to help, but he had never done anything in the kitchen before and he didn't want to ruin anything since HE was the one that was going to eat it. So Luneth simply waited in the living room until it was time to eat.
As he was waiting, something in the room had caught his eye. He walked over to a nearby shelf and looked over all the knick-knacks. They were a bunch of badges and medals, all with a "7/71st" engraving on each of them.
"7/71st...? These look like military honors..."
Another thing besides the medals on the shelf was a photo. It featured a Gatomon, which must've been Skye, a Gaomon and a Bearmon, all of them wearing military tunics. Was Skye in the military at one point...? Luneth would have to remember to ask her. If she was though, then that would be a pretty honorable thing to have one of your parents be in the military. But the question was: would Luneth ever be able to live up to that?
The smells from the kitchen reached Luneth's nose as he observed the shelf. His mouth started drooling at the thought of whatever it could be. He put the picture back on the shelf and headed back to the kitchen, where he saw that Shoutmon and Chuumon from before, also with drooling mouths. Skye told them that they'd get the leftovers, which clearly disappointed the two of them. Luneth was confused. "Why can't they join us, Mother? I truly don't mind."
Whether or not they would join, Luneth sat down at the table, grabbing his own pair of chopsticks... and both of them completely flew out of his claws right into the dish. "Heh, chopsticks were always tricky for me," he explained as he picked them back up. He fumbled with the chopsticks for a minute or two before he finally seemed to get it right. He put the noodles in his mouth...
And this was where one of his father's traits came into play. Luneth's eyes widened before he started eating the soup with gusto, he had never tasted anything so good before in his life! Skye could clearly see the pure joy on the Hackmon's face while he ate the soup. He would've eaten much faster but he did not wish to look like a pig, so he at least looked graceful despite the speed he was eating at.
After finishing the soup, Luneth wiped his mouth with a napkin before bowing to his mother. "Thank you very much for the meal, mother. It was the best thing I've ever eaten."

"Hmm, well, Owen gets joy from having children, and they all seem fairly happy, so, who are we to question it?" Skye shrugged.
Then Luneth asked where he could find his father. "Shoutmon normally spends time in the human world with his partner Adrian, but he does frequently visit here." she said. "I'd advise not going to the human world at this time looking for him, meanwhile, it's a difficult situation there, something a young digimon like you would be best off not messing around there." While she preferred not to divulge too much details that would scare Luneth, by now she caught on to the fact that her son was a very curious digimon, and supposed she'd best prepare herself to answer questions.
When Luneth explored around the living room and found Skye's old military gear, that gained her attention. Once she was satisfied the food was cooking properly, she would join him in order to talk about them.
"Yeah, that's right." Skye answered. "In my previous life, I was a First Lieutenant of the 7th battalion of the 71st Recon regiment of the DWR Army." she explained. "It was of course abbreviated as the 7/71st, but we were an elite unit that often worked behind enemy lines to gain intelligence about them in order to disable or destroy them."
While Skye wouldn't divulge too many precise details, she did feel at least some pride in what she had done, and the recognition she had been given.
"That blue cross medal there." Skye said, pointing to it on its display case. "That's the Water Cross for gallantry. I received it for taking initiative when a snipe attempt was made on my commander. It only wounded him, but he was knocked out, I did my best to get everyone safe. I... guess I forgot myself in that moment. Thinking about the things I did... I can't comprehend how I could possibly have done them, but... in the moment of crisis, it seems I did them."
Deciding it was best to not dwell on such things, Skye would return to the kitchen to finish the meal. Once she had done so, and after she had dismissed Jorge and Hickory, Luneth questioned this.
"Oh, sorry. I just didn't know if you wanted to have this meal alone with me or not." Skye said, a little embarrassed, scratching the back of her neck. "If it's really fine with you, yeah, they can join in."
Skye called Jorge and Hickory back down, and the Chuumon and Shoutmon joined them at the table as the meal was served.
"So, couldn't help but eavesdrop there." Hickory said to Luneth. "So, you're Skye's son, eh? Nice to meet ya. I'm Hickory, I've been Skye's friend for about a year now."
"Heya. I'm Jorge, pretty much the same as Hickory" the Shoutmon added. "We mostly just hang around with your mother as roommates and comrades. We're like a posse, pretty much. Three digimon that got displaced from their places of birth, just going around and getting by, trying to make the past not hurt so much."
Skye gave Jorge a disapproving glance, not wanting Luneth to be exposed to too much negative stories here. But she supposed that it would be fine if the Hackmon wanted to listen to them.
When Luneth said he struggled a bit with chopsticks, Skye sympathised at once. "Oh, that's fine. If you need a fork and spoon instead, I've got some in the drawer." she said, offering to get them if Luneth wanted.
As for the others, Skye, Jorge and Hickory quickly finished their servings too, the latter two delighted to taste such food.
"Wow, Skye, that's probably the best thing I've ever tasted from you." Jorge complimented her. "You really pull out all the stops with family, heh"
"Well, um... I know what you're getting at there, Jorge, but, I'll try my best to keep to this standard." Skye said, chuckling a little. "So then, Luneth, now that we're all full up and together, is there anything else that you'd like to talk about?"

Luneth raised an eyebrow. "Father has a Tamer? That's... interesting." Skye then said it wouldn't be a good idea for Luneth to visit the human world right now, as there is apparently a difficult situation there right now. Skye didn't say what that situation WAS, which slightly irritated Luneth. "I spent the last three months on my own, Mother. I am confident I can handle whatever is going on over there."
She's gonna flip when I tell her my plans... Luneth thought to himself. Now how was he gonna tell her that he planned to move to the human world now?
As the Hackmon observed the little treasures on the shelf, Skye came up and explained her story. In her past life she was a first lieutenant of the "7th battalion of the 71st Recon regiment of the DWR army", shortened to "7/71st". She said they worked behind enemy lines to learn about them and destroy them. "So this recon was mainly filled with double agents, so to speak?"
The Gatomon pointed towards a special medal, the Water Cross. She claimed to have gotten it for protecting her commander from a snipe attempt, leaving him with only a wound. It sounded like such a brave thing to do to Luneth. She mentioned how in hindsight she couldn't comprehend actually doing things like that. Luneth understood what she was saying. "I don't think everyone can be as brave as you were in that moment. You saved a life at least, right?"
At the table, Jorge and Hickory had joined in on Luneth's request, both introducing themselves to the Hackmon. "My name is Luneth. It is a pleasure to meet both of you. And Jorge... I almost confused you for Father for a second, embarrassingly enough."
"Make the past not hurt so much"? That... was quite a downer. Luneth wanted to ask more, but clearly Skye didn't want Jorge to bring it up any more than he already had.
After the delicious meal, Skye asked Luneth if there was anything he wanted to talk about. Before he could say anything, Skye's D-Terminal would go off. If she picked it up, she would find a message notification from Shoutmon himself. th3RedDragon: Heya, Skye! You up for some more training today? Maybe today will be the day you reach Mega!

So, Luneth didn't yet know that his father had a tamer. Well, that was another thing on the list she'd have to tell him. However, he seemed a little incensed about her advice not to go to the human world. She sighed and supposed she'd have to spill the beans.
"There is a powerful faction of humans in their world that are currently trying to force all digimon they find to return to the digital world." she said. "I know, it's not rational or practical, but that's what they're doing. And if you have plans to go there, please..." she wanted to specifically forbid him to do so, but, something in her own thoughts prevented her from doing so. Her own rebellious spirit perhaps, that had prevented her from ever fitting in at Luminas. Instead, the words she said were "...prepare yourself properly."
Skye had to pause for a few moments here. She found herself physically unable to forbid her son from entering the human world as it was, despite the fact that her own parents would have advised the same. But... the worlds had changed now. And, maybe, there was something about Luneth that Skye trusted would help him succeed?
Luneth asked if the 7/71st was filled with double agents. Skye shook her head. "No, all of us were true to what we did. We just knew how to stay hidden and do our tasks." she explained. "That's what recon is all about, learning as much about the critical situation as you can, then survive to tell the tale to the chain of command. We took risks, we lost lives, but we never forgot our goal."
When Luneth spoke about the Water Cross, Skye shook her head. "It wasn't just the one life." she said. "When my commanding officer fell to injury, the line of command fell to me. Again, I don't fully remember what happened, but, according to the citation, I directed the recon unit to dig down, fight off the enemy and survive. And I did so well that they gave me a medal for it..." saying these words should have made Skye proud, but she wasn't. "I would have rather have retained the living friends I lost in that battle than that medal." she eventually said, bitterly. "But that medal was all I got in the end, so for me, that's what those lives represent... and I refuse to ever wear it unless it's to specifically honor them."
Thankfully this melancholy was broken by Jorge and Hickory joining in. Understandably, Luneth mistook Jorge for his father, but Jorge differed in that his default form was Shoutmon King, and the white of his abdomen extended to the tip of his tail. At least that's how Skye differed the two.
After the meal, Skye received a message in her D-Terminal. She read it, blinked, then decided to share it.
"So, your father sent me a message." she stated, showing it to him. "I don't think he knows about you yet. Would you like to meet him?"
She'd respect Luneth's wishes whatever they were.

Luneth listened to his mother as she explained that there was a faction of humans that were trying to send all Digimon back to the Digital World. The Hackmon's face visibly gained an expression that seemed like a mix of confusion and anger. "Th-They can't do that, can they? We have as much right to be in the human world as the humans do to be in ours!" Luneth was definitely getting upset at this point.
Skye continued to discuss about her experiences in the 7/71st. She explained that they weren't double agents, but that they were committed to a cause and knew how to stay hidden and do their tasks. She also explained that she became the commander after hers was injured. She didn't remember it, probably because she was deleted at some point, but somewhere said that she directed the recon to dig down and fight off the enemy, and that was why she got the medal. She didn't sound very proud of it, stating that she would rather have her lost friends than that medal.
The Hackmon didn't have the slightest clue on how to respond to Skye's story. Luneth walked up to his mother's side, lightly resting his head on her arm, as a sign of showing affection... or at least Luneth hoped it would be interpreted as that.
After the meal, Skye showed Luneth the message that Shoutmon had sent, stating that she doesn't think he knows of Luneth's existence yet. She asked if he would like to meet his father. Of course, Luneth nodded. "Of course I would, Mother."

Skye looked at Luneth with a patient expression as he said he thought that the situation in the human world was unfair. Skye felt she had no choice but to prepare him as best as possible for this.
"They can and they have, I'm afraid that's the reality of this situation, Luneth." she said with regret. "So if you do go there... please, don't get yourself caught." She left the next part out, that if ever Luneth encountered trouble, she'd be there in an instant and shoot through as many DATS agents as she could to save her son, but, she decided that would be more effective if held silently.
After Skye told her tale, she was glad that Luneth reacted the way he did, resting his head on her arm. In response, Skye turned, crouched down and hugged him. Even if no words could be said, she was grateful that her son had such empathy for others.
"You're a good boy, Luneth, and I'm glad." she said a little while after, standing back up.
After the meal, it seemed that Luneth wanted to meet his father. Skye nodded. "Alright. Then we'll meet." she said, and keyed in a response to Shoutmon.
"Hey, Shoutmon. I would like to meet up with you, but not for training. I've got someone that wants to meet you. I don't think I should say over Tamernet, so, hope to meet you soon. I'm here at my home in Rustport whenever you're ready."
She sent the message, then turned to Luneth. "Alright then, hopefully you'll meet him soon." she said.
Jorge and Hickory were fine with this, they had met Adrian and Shoutmon before and decided they were okay, and looked forward to their arrival.

Luneth felt all sorts of emotions running through his head. Anger, disappointment, confusion, sadness... basically every negative emotion that one could feel, and he wasn't quite sure on how he should act at the moment. He was still a young Digimon, and he needed to learn how to deal with these emotions. "Please excuse me for a second..." Luneth said before heading outside. Those near a window would suddenly see the outside light up, alongside an angry sounding scream, as Luneth was breathing fire right into the air. After he was finished, the Hackmon would head right back inside. "I am perfectly okay now... I hope."
The Hackmon was surprised when Skye kneeled down to give Luneth a hug. It felt... nice. Very nice. He never got affection like this back in the Village of Beginnings, nor did he during the three months he spent on the road. A light blush appeared on Luneth's cheeks after Skye had complimented him.
Now that the message had been sent to Shoutmon, it would just be a matter of waiting. After about ten or fifteen minutes, there was a knock at the front door. Luneth got up to go and answer it. He opened the door to reveal a... very tall human standing outside with what was unmistakably his father.
Of course, Shoutmon himself didn't know that yet. "Uh, hey there. You must be the one Skye said wanted to meet me, right? Well I'm Shoutmon, and this is my partner Adrian. Pleased to meet'cha!"
"Hey," Adrian said with a simple wave.
Luneth just stared blankly at the red dragon, almost as if he was in disbelief. This... is Father? Luneth thought to himself. It can't be, he looks and acts YOUNGER than me.
"...so is Skye home?" Shoutmon asked, feeling awkward that the Hackmon was now just staring at him.
