The day was like any other, once the sun came streaming in through the sliver of space between his curtains, Faust had arisen, but not without major grumbling
"Curses...O Sol Invictus, why oh why must you torment me in this manner? Thou art indeed cruel."
Naturally, since the sun was an inanimate object, there was no reply to his query. Granted, it was more of a rhetorical question, so he wasn't really expecting one anyway...hence it was all good, except for the fact he had to get up and about. He was no early bird, that was for damn sure. Anyway, he dragged himself out of his king sized bed with its plush, thick mattress despite not wanting to and slowly but steadily got ready to meet the day. He did take his sweet time, however, but still, thanks to his ability to be efficient and plan 3 steps ahead of his current situation, he had still be left with enough time to be on his way. And that's what he did, after dressing neatly in his usual physician-scientist's outfit, he put on his patent black leather shoes, strapped on his military style backpack with all the tools of his trade as well as his lunch inside onto his 5' 7" lean, muscular frame, put on all the wearable electronics he had been in the habit of using, and after slipping his V-Pet device into his white coat pocket; he finally got out of his building and hired a taxi.
He didn't have too long to wait, fortunately, since about 10 minutes or so after he had hired the taxi, one pulled up by the curbside. Then, he got in and after giving the driver the requisite information about his destination, aka Central Shibuya subway station, he relaxed into the soft cushion, leather covered seats and waited patiently for the driver to take him there. It was a standard day in Shibuya, but thanks to his curiosity, his keen crimson red eyes were drawn, as always to the observation of the passersby, and noted every detail they could before moving on to the next object of interest and so on. Finally, after the usual half hour traffic transit, he was dropped off at the Central Shibuya subway station and he made his way through the crowd as per his usual routine. Unbeknownst to him the day was about to get a lot more intriguing...and chaotic.
Initially, everything was calm with nothing out of the ordinary happening to him. All that changed when he was about to walk past the part of the station which had always been cordoned off and seemed like it was broken and shut down indefinitely. He felt a strange heat in his coat pocket, the one with the V-Pet inside. There was even a mysterious glow coming from the device at present
What in Heisenberg's name?...Well this certainly is an unexpected turn of eve...
Interestingly enough, he had no time to finish that thought since he now felt himself being pulled along, toward the allegedly broken down section of the subway station he was right next to at the moment. He didn't want to seem strange, so he tried his best to act like he was walking briskly and was simply going to check out what was going on with the shut down station. As the wall got closer and closer, he had fully expected to have a rather unpleasant collision with it, but something truly queer happened just then. He was actually transported through the wall, or what had seemed like a solid brick wall and was now on the other side.
"Well, that was certainly a quaint little encounter...now...what do we have here?"
He murmured to himself as he looked about his new surroundings. The avoidance of collision with the brick wall had been odd enough, but that wasn't the end of the affair. The even strange sight was this, the so called broken down station which seemed to be in perfect working order on this side. Needlessly to say, this caught his attention and kicked his curiosity into high gear.

Stacy was moving around her apartment like a hyperactive child. This was something that hadn't been normal for since she was a teenager. It seemed sometime after she acquired her spirit fragment her energy levels were higher but her stamina in human form was quite limited still.
Now in the kitchen she had poured herself some coffee and slammed it down before heading to where her coat was hanging. She slid on the black leather jacket and grabbed her backpack placing that on as well. Then she put on her shoes before she stepped out of her apartment. Stepping out of the line of sight of most people she pulled her D-Tector out of her left pocket. Running her right hand over the top she began to spirit evolve. "Execute! Sprite spirit evolution!" She became enveloped in a bright light and when the light faded a wolf howl was heard before she said "Hinookamimon!" As Hinookamimon she would get to the Shibuya station much quicker not that she had a destination in mind. She figured just pick a Trailmon and handle things from there, like she usually did.
With that, as Hinookamimon, she took off down the street running just slow enough not to draw unnecessary attention to herself. Soon she made it to the station and entered. Upon ducking out of sight she returned to her human self and headed where the Trailmon were. Soon she spotted a man with crimson eyes and he seemed confused. He was older than most the humans she regularly seemed to interact with. Maybe digimon were just more common among younger people, oh well. The petite woman approached the stranger and said "Hey there! You seem lost. Are you okay?"

Faust had recovered his bearings and had been studying his new surroundings from his position since it was unfamiliar territory for him even though on the surface it seemed to be the same exact Central Shibuya subway. Thankfully, the map function of his Google Glasses was still working, but no matter how many times he checked, it was still showing him as being in Shibuya. So, he stopped that for the time being to try to conserve its battery and simply let the background apps keep running. As the wind blew through the area after a few moments, he pulled his thankfully thick white doctor's coat close around his lean, wiry frame and turned his collar up completely, making his overall appearance seem akin to one of those stereotypical evil geniuses one usually saw in movies or cartoons. Since his hands for feeling cold, he had stuck them in the deep pockets of his dark colored formal trousers and leaned against the brick wall which he had just come through. Just then, the facial recognition software that had been installed in his black frame Google Glasses resting on his face alerted him that someone was heading towards him. So, he twisted the dial on the side of the Glasses, which activated the zoom function. Upon doing so, he saw that it was a woman not much older than himself Hmm, now that's a curious choice of outfit for this age group...but here we go, maybe I can glean some more useful intelligence from her...He was musing as he examined her black leather jacket which made her look like some kind of biker chick from the movies when she had saved him the effort and spoken first instead, remarking on his lost looking expression and inquiring whether he was okay. So, he replied while nodding to acknowledge her query " Oh hello miss, how do you do? Regarding your query, yes it would appear that, loath as I am to admit it, I am indeed hopelessly lost at the moment." He sighed dejectedly, then paused and looked about a bit more before returning his piercing bright crimson red gaze towards her, the movement causing his untamed, almost gravity defying white hair with green highlights to wave about gently. Then, he continued his counter-questioning " Perchance, would you...know exactly where we both are right now?...Though it does seem from an examination of the immediate surroundings that we are still probably in Shibuya..." He trailed off there and left his question hanging before falling silent, and while waiting for her response, he tried to compile all the facts about what had happened to him up till then in an attempt to figure out his current situation and also what would be the next few optimal moves to make in it. For the time being, he decided to try to analyze his new surroundings by activating his custom order Google Glasses again by tapping the side of their frame. As he glanced about, the map app was still showing the bright yellow AR route marker overlaid onto the environment, but it looked as though it trailed off after the first several feet which surprised him greatly. Still, before coming to any sort of conclusion and taking any action, he decided it would be best to wait for the woman to shed some light on his current situation, and perhaps where he was located in Shibuya. ------ OOC: Character Appearance: ---- bold in quotes: character's out loud speech italics: character's inner thoughts ----- POST WC: 569 PERSONAL TOTAL WC: 1252

She took in the man's appearance noticing that he was dressed like a doctor and, thinking about how she was dressed, they seemed like quite the odd pair. She noticed he was taking in her appearance just as she was taking in his. His hair seemed to defy gravity and only added to what she could only describe as a mad scientist like appearance. Her hair was modestly shorter by comparison the two inch pixie cut spiking up almost randomly as if it did as it pleased. The blue tips at the end of her brown hair didn't look so weird considering how deceptively young she looked. He seemed younger than her but one didn't always know based on appearance alone, after all.
He seemed well spoken making it easier to translate than some of the crazier slang she heard growing up. Hell, one could say he was a relief to communicate with considering things she heard while she lived in America.
It seemed he was waiting for her to respond so she said "Yes, we are still in Shibuya. This area seems unreachable by most people but a small amount of people have gotten in. Perhaps you have something like this." Reaching her left hand into her pocket, she drew out her D-Tector and showed it to him.

Now they were getting somewhere, or so he felt upon hearing her explain where exactly they were and confirm that they were still in Central Shibuya. So, he nodded while thanking her, and as he did, his prominent Adam's apple could be faintly seen adorning his neck under his sharply defined, strong jawline. " Ah, that's quite the relief, miss. Thank you for helping me regain my bearings." He had said, speaking in that same rich baritone, but somehow mellifluous voice and the strange mix of a German and Japanese accent. Upon seeing the strange device in her hands, he was fascinated by its appearance. As he studied it with his usually thin eyes, now fully widened, his thin lips parted slightly while his bright crimson red eyes held a childlike expression of wonder. As a result of being preoccupied with the examination of the device in her hands, her next question hadn't registered in his mind, leading him to be silent for those few seconds. Fortunately, after his study was done, his brain reminded him just then of the Tamagotchi device he had in his pocket, which led to him snapping back to reality and clearing his throat before responding " That's a rather intriguing device you got there, miss. I must thank you once again for reminding me, I do indeed seem to possess a gadget similar to yours." While explaining, he pulled out what he was expecting to be his Tamagotchi device, but to his surprise it had morphed into some other object entirely. He showed her the device in the hopes that she could explain what exactly it was and perhaps even how it was related to what had happened to him. ------ POST WC: 283 PERSONAL TOTAL WC: 1535

Stacy observed the stranger's reaction to her D-Tector noticing his fascination with it. 'With how he's dressed that shouldn't be surprising.' she thought. There were times when the inner nerd in her had her making faces like that but since she had little aptitude with machines, what she now knew was her spirit, was more fascinating to her when she got her D-Tector. 'So if you're a nerd. What kind are you?' she thought. She wasn't as unobservant as her father accused her of being and that usually was her greatest advantage. That and how she appeared relatively harmless, unless threatened, didn't hurt either.
When she saw the gadget he pulled out of his pocket she was surprised as well as a little confused. The only device with any similarities to her D-Tector she had seen was a twelve year old tamers' D3. Like the D3, the man's device had some slight similarities with her D-Tector but what was it that made it stand out? He seemed just as lost as she was now.
"It seems to have somethings in common with mine. Perhaps it's a different model which could mean it has a different purpose. I don't know what that purpose is though seeing as I've never seen that model before." Stacy answered with a perplexed look in her brown eyes.

"A different model, you say?"
He mused aloud after having heard her reply and looked at his own device, hoping to gain some data on it, but other than being able to note its rather diabolical appearance, he wasn't able to make any significant headway. So, he asked her instead after a few minutes
"So, would I be correct in surmising that there are more models out there than just ours? Or do these two represent the extent of the variety of these devices?"
He fell silent after that, wondering what she would say in return. While waiting he tried to examine his device and compare it to her own some more. His was all black and had a red screen at the top with what seemed like purple colored buttons beneath the screen. The device also had spiky gold colored projections attached to it at certain points while the top most part had something which looked like a mouth with top and bottom rows of large, gold colored fangs.
I wonder if I can dismantle this somehow to study its individual components?...I can feel my curiosity burgeon by the second...ah, I do hope I can get to run a battery of tests with it and perhaps study other such devices if available...

Stacy looked at his device again and noticed how it stood out compared to her more humble D-Tector that was blue with red highlights. Compared to the somewhat sinister appearance his had, what with the spikes and all, hers was quite the contrast and not just because of how they seemed to be different models. That meant only one thing. He also was meant to have some kind of a connection with digimon, although what she couldn't yet determine.
"I've seen a third variety of device but it was with a girl that seemed no older than twelve." Stacy said as the sound of a Trailmon's whistle reached her ears causing her to look in the direction of where it came from. Shortly a light blue Trailmon with a light on it's head came into view before coming to a halt ready to pick up or drop off passengers.

He had been about to respond when he was interrupted by the strangest train whistle he had ever heard till then. A few moments later, this whistle was accompanied by an equally if not stranger train pulling into the station. Its color was not queer, but it seemed to have what looked like a single gargantuan eye on the front and...teeth...and a large light that was hanging off a fishing rod like appendage which was connected to its head.
"Holy Heisenberg!! That has GOT to be most magnificent piece of technology I have ever had the honor of seeing till now!!"
He exclaimed with his jaw clearly dropped, his eyes wide and riveted on the Trailmon with a somewhat manic look in them, not that he knew that's what the weird train was actually called, of course. His next statement was a bit more disturbing, however, although in the excited super-nerd state he was in currently, he didn't really notice that
"I would very much like to take this thing apart to study its components! Surely, it would teach me so very much!!"
He had exclaimed while walking towards the Trailmon, staring at it in awe and clearly visible excitement with his hands up and fingers wiggling disconcertingly as though they were itching to dismantle the Trailmon as soon as he had the chance. Little did he know that this was where his situation would get a great deal stranger.

Stacy watched with shock as the stranger seemed to 'geek out' in front of her to a point that could be interpreted as embarrassing or, by judging by how his fingers were wiggling, creepy. Possibly a bit of both. 'Oh Dear, is it possible I might have a mad scientist on my hands?' she thought as she wondered if she should interfere and step in before things possibly escalated out of hand. She had no idea how the Trailmon would react but she had a feeling it might not react to kindly at the prospect of some human taking it apart.
"Hey! Keep your paws to yourself human! I ain't here for you to disassemble me for your own amusement!" The Tailmon yelled as its posture became rigid, possibly aggressive. A sharp whistle echoed throughout the station.
"Shit!" Stacy said as she knew she had to move and decided to spirit evolve. Perhaps if the Trailmon spoke with a digimon it would calm down because even in her spirit fraction form she wasn't sure if she could overcome an angry Trailmon. That and she didn't know what combat abilities this digimon had. With luck she wouldn't have to find out.
Running her right hand over her D-Tector she said "Execute! Sprite Spirit Evolution!" Like always her body became enveloped in light as her body changed. As the light faded, a wolf howl began to echo through the station before she said "Hinookamimon!" What a way for this stranger to have his first encounter with a digimon.
Now, as Hinookamimon, she sprinted in front of the stranger getting in between him and the Trailmon. Looking at the Trailmon she spoke with the same voice she had as a human as she said "Easy big guy. This guy hasn't seen a digimon before so he doesn't know better. He doesn't know you're a living being."
The Trailmon stared at the rookie in front of him and realized how pointless it was to become aggressive with a human seeing as he could crush humans with his size or even outrun them. "I guess you have a point. What is it with humans? I have never seen stranger creatures."

The commotion that had taken place in the aftermath of his mad scientist trance-like state had woken him up and snapped him back to reality rather sharply. Of course, he still had the itch to try to dismantle the living train thing that was in front of him, but he now realized that at present, it might not be the best idea. He had been about to apologize, when the woman in front him ran between him and the living train while doing something he found even more intriguing. She had gone from looking like a human to a rather fluffy wolf cub like creature, but he could tell that it was still the same woman thanks to her voice now issuing from the creature. Here, things got even stranger for the desire to floof all things fluffy which he absolutely loathed to admit about himself and which he usually tried to keep suppressed in order to maintain his mad scientist persona came out in full force.
"FLOOF FOR THE WIN!!"
He exclaimed loudly and then started acting and sounding like a zombie as he walked toward the wolf like creature which called itself Hinookamimon while repeating the same words like a broken record
"Must...floof...must floof...must floof..."
Once he was within range, he got down on his knee and extended both arms toward the oh so fluffy tail of the creature, clearly intending to hug it and had even begun to bring his face closer to said tail as well. Needless to say, he looked even more insane now than he had just mere moments earlier. However, he wasn't concerned with any of that since the only thought in his mind at present was the one that was now urging him inexorably to bury his face in that fluffy tail of the talking wolf creature and hug it tightly.

Trailmon seemed to be calming down to Hinookamimon's relief since a fight in the station could of led to a cave in as well as the potential death of everyone in that area. As she sighed in relief her ears picked up a sudden call of FLOOF FOR THE WIN! caused her to spin around to the stare at the white haired stranger with her eyes showing clear confusion. 'What the hell?' she thought wondering just how crazy he was as he approached her zombie like and repeating the words 'Must Floof' over and over like a broken record. The Trailmon was just a silent observer of the madness at this point.
As the stranger got closer and knelt down his intentions to not just grab, but bury his face in her frizzy tail. Now she was confused even more but calmly asked "Excuse me, but what has gotten into you? Have you lost your mind?"

The only thought in his mind at the moment was
MUST FLOOF...THE FLOOFY CREATURE...
As this was stuck on currently permanent repeat, his ears did not pick up her question, and his brain didn't register it either as a result. He continued on his quest and grabbed the wolf creature's uber-bushy and frizzy tail and while hugging it, he also buried his face fully in it, exclaiming
"SO...FLOOFY...SO WARM...BEST FLOOF I HAVE...EVER FLOOFED...AH...SUCH MAJESTY...SO AWE-INSPIRING...SUCH PEERLESS SPLENDOR...TIS TRULY A HEAVENLY SENSATION...PRAISE BE TO THE GODS FOR THIS..."
He was talking more to himself than anyone present in particular, though of course, he didn't realize that the wolf creature and the living train could probably hear the words issuing from his mouth, although they were muffled a bit because he was currently nuzzling the bushy tail in his hands. As if that wasn't enough, he was stroking said tail ever so gently with his hands, and marveled at the experience, grateful for whoever or whatever this woman was and whatever had given her the power to manifest such a delightful form.

It seemed as if the stranger hadn't heard her in his present state seeing as he had grabbed her tail and buried his face in it. Though muffled Hinookamimon's hearing was sharp enough to pick up every word. With a sigh she knew she had to separate him from her tail but gently. Concentrating her tail began to transform from its frizzy appearance into prayer beads. However, unlike when she fought, she didn't channel any of her holy energy into her tail. She then gently pushed forward nudging him off before her tail returned to its normal frizzy state.
She then returned to her human form and pocketed her D-Tector before she said "A little too invasive of my personal space don't ya think? Considering we don't really know each other I think getting snuggly like that could lead you to trouble."

His floofing time which he alway prized so much had been rudely interrupted by the creature nudging him off her tail and this caused him to sigh dejectedly and whine
"But...floof...must floof...my floof fix...RIP..."
He sighed once more before straightening up again and resuming his more formal persona after clearing his throat, and since he didn't want to lose access to such a wonderfully floofy tail, even though it was rather out of character for him, he apologized to her, mentally noting but deciding not to remark on her transformation back to a human form just yet
"My sincere apologies for being so uncouth towards you, miss. I will attempt to keep this urge of mine under control henceforth."
By now he had gotten used to the strangeness of his present situation, so neither his voice nor his visage showed the confusion from earlier, but instead was calm and more composed in word and deed.
