Silence knew that it was strange, she also knew that mons came in many many different shapes and sizes. She'd rumble a little thoughtfully as she walked along. Wondering quietly to herself if bringing a rookie on this little venture was a smart idea. But she had a feeling that raimei was so much more than she let on. Managing a small smile the shutmon turned her head to look to the blackgabumon.
"Well he seems to think that wherever I am is just safe. He's not wrong but I also feel like him giving my confidence a bit of a boost isn't exactly needed."
The shutmon snorted as she watched sep vanish; wondering quietly to herself what would have happened if she had been a bit more thorough with his training. Would she even need to be here? She'd flick her ears a bit and give the black gabumon a big smile at hearing her get called boss.
"Boss huh? Spose that makes sense. Haven't been called that before."
Silence chuckled a bit and walked at a brisk pace; her icy eyes tracking the lines of trees and the varied movement beyond. She'd set her hand firmly on her sword and without much warning she'd draw it once they were deeper in the forest. She'd look around; her eyes seeming to follow a particular lane of movement.
"They're here but I think they're keeping back because there's two of us. Lets see..."
Silence growled a bit and dragged a finger along her sword's length; the weapon sparked up becoming surrounded by some kind of holy energy. It was powerful and almost nearly overwhelming to be by for an instant. She'd exhale and then launch a wave out towards where the movement had been. Cries of surprise from the local troopmon followed by cursing and further movement greeted them.
From out of the bushes came four troopers, three were relatively fine while the fourth was missing his left arm. It seemed like silence's intial attack was effective enough to slice through their thick rubber. Probably didn't help that she was a good level or so above them!
"Take out the one with the flamethrower. We don't need another fire! I'll get the other three!"
Lowering her stance the shutmon was about to get things really started...
