Training Partners (Tetsu+David)

After finishing the Tamernet conversation they had with TetsuGao and RRGreyson, Kaya and Hawkeye had made their way to the Spartan Training Grounds. The place really did look impressive, with multiple Digimon battling and sparring against each other in an effort to hone their skills. If Kaya was gonna learn how to digivolve Hawkeye properly, it would be here.
"Whoa, this place looks like a military base taken right out of history," Kaya said in awe, "and I should know, since I'm doing amazing in my history class right now."
"And a C counts as doing amazing?" Hawkeye genuinely asked, having peeked at one of Kaya's history papers before. She simply huffed and looked away, crossing her arms, leaving Hawkeye kind of confused. "It was just a question, Kaya..."
She did not respond to that. Instead she just walked around aimlessly, looking for those she met on Tamernet. "Where do you think those two would be?"
"Perhaps we got here early. I could do some simple target practice while we wait."
"You do that every day. Heck, you did it before we even got here!"
"Ah, right... then I suppose we should just wait. Do you know what they look like?"
Kaya sweatdropped. "No... I don't think they even know what I look like..."

...Ah, right, he forgot, he totally didn't ask about the two how they look like, huh... Um, it's probably a bit too late at the moment... And it's a bit awkward to ask again... Well, he guess he'll respond if someone asked how does he looks like. But for the meantime though? Tetsu took off his shirt and began warming up. It's been a while since he last trained here, so he wanted to test something...
Just how strong is he?
Tetsu looks for a sizeable boulder that he could lift. The first one was a bit light for him. The second one is too heavy. He only could roll it instead. The third one ended up perfect. After asking some Digimons there to help him mount it on a tool that could secure it on his back, Tetsu began to walk around the training ground. Today's training is simply endurance test. Nothing too amazing, and sometimes uncool, but at the very least it works!
"...Haven't people told you that doing this will make you stay short?" Gryz commented from his chair. The corrupted Bearmon is reading a manga while drinking lemon juice with honey.
"I-I'm doing this after consulting with Haku alright!? I-I'll be fine!"
"...Well, if you says so... Just don't destroy your growth plate, brother."
But at any rate, where's the promised party anyway? Are they around?

Arriving a bit later than the others, David stepped through a hole he had ripped between worlds using a device that inexplicably seemed to only fall into the hands of children. Attached to the boy's back was a large and bright yellow hiker's backpack, seemingly filled to the brim with supplies. His knees wobbled and back arched forward as the weight on his back severely encumbered David's small frame, but the look on his face was undeterred, and reflected none of the physical turmoil his body must be under. "Where do you think they'd be at?" Ziggy, David's trusty ModokiBetamon partner, scanned the surrounding area while stood atop the massive pack, certainly not helping their partner's situation at all, but it was a better vantage point. A handful of digimon ran around doing various sorts of training and workouts, but from his vantage point near the center of the grounds, he couldn't see anything that looked human. "That just means we'll have to walk around and look for them. Come on." David's voice carried the excitement of someone going on a wonderful adventure, and certainly not someone who was carrying the weight of a whole other person on his shoulders. Though walking was out of the question. His legs couldn't move in normal steps without destabilizing and sending the boy tumbling backward. Being very careful to keep his balance, David tapped the front of his shoes against the ground a couple of times, causing wheels to emerge from the bottoms. These were no ordinary shoes. They were, in fact ATs, a wonderful set of skates that he only recently acquired. He pressed forward the slightest bit with his toes to activate the motor inside and began traveling forward at a slow walking pace, aimlessly looking around for KayaKyukon, BowArrow, and TetsuGao. David had only made it a few meters before stopping by one of the many facilities before deciding that he was going about this the hard way. Whenever he was meeting a friend at the movies or park or anything, and they weren't there, there was only one thing to do. Text them.[googlefont="Fjalla One:400"] [attr="class","lock"] RRGreyson I'm here guys. Where are you at? I think I'm near the middle. While Kaya and Hawkeye were waiting around for the others, something nearby had caught Kaya's attention. It seemed to just be another human kid with a unique looking Bearmon with him, but then the kid decided to take off his shirt. And what was underneath that shirt was something Kaya was never expecting to see, ever.
"Oh my..."
"Hm? What is wrong, Kaya?" The Hawkmon asked. Kaya simply pointed in the general direction of the other kid. "It is not polite to point at others, Kaya," he'd respond as he looked in that same direction. He saw nothing special, just a human with abs. He sweatdropped. "I am failing to see the point, I'm afraid."
"Human kids are not supposed to look like that." It did not end there, however; now the kid was picking up and pushing BOULDERS as well. What was he, twelve? The same age that Kaya was? Kaya can barely lift up a couple cartons of milk on her own with her twig arms.
...she had to admit that she was incredibly jealous.
Suddenly the D-Terminals made a notification sound. Kaya checked hers out, and it was RRGreyson asking where the others were. She decided to help out and reply back, since she didn't even know where anyone was. KayaKyukon: Hi there! I'm here too!
KayaKyukon: I'm wearing an orange T-Shirt with white sleeves and blue jeans right now, and I have light blonde hair. I shouldn't be too hard to spot, since I have a Hawkmon with an archer bow beside me.

Trill"Tetsu, brother, your D-Nexus is beeping," Gryz told Tetsu. The tanned boy's hand immediately shot at his pocket. He pulled out a phone-like device. It's a bit bulkier and longer compared to the normal smartphone, but regardless, it's more advanced than the usual, albeit probably a bit more backside heavy. Tetsu quickly opened the Tamernet app. He reads the thread he participated and noticed that it's seem he's the only one who have yet replied... R.R. Greyson is here already... and Kaya... he looked around, and found a girl who fits her description. ...Huh, that's neat. "Gryz! Let's go! Our trainees are here!" "...Trainees?" Gryz muttered in disbelief. But either way, he followed Tetsu to greet the two. Tetsu was the first to reach where Kaya is. "Hey! So you're the girl from the Tamernet huh?" Tetsu dropped the boulder on his back. It hits the ground with a very audible "thud". Perhaps if the ground wasn't so reinforced, there would have been a dent on it. Regardless. Tetsu flashed a grin and offered a handshake. "Name's Tetsu, here's my partner, Gryz. TetsuGao was my handlename. Not exactly creative, I know, heh. So KayaKyukon and BowArrow, right?" "Mmm, nice to meet you two," Gryz lazily waved as greetings. "Gryz here, I'm just a chill'un bear."

David stared down at his D-Terminal. He had been hoping more for a reply about what part of the camp they were in, not necessarily what to look for. He typed and deleted a few replies, but everything seemed either too pushy or rude. "Well, let's keep looking," David said with a slight sigh.
It was time to get going again. He knew when he set it down a minute ago that he would regret having to once again hoist his supplies back up again. After kneeling down and threading his scrawny arms through the straps, David stood up with a grunt that sounded not unlike an old woman trying to lift a gallon of milk. Again, he almost buckled under the weight of the pack but managed to stand with a wide stance. Once settled, he began to roll forward on his motorized skates once more, looking for any signs of humans.
David's aimless skating was suddenly interrupted by a loud thud of a heavy object falling. On reflex, the boy turned himself sharply towards the sound, undoing the careful balancing act he had going on, and tumbled backward.
"Maybe skates aren't a good idea right now." Ziggy quickly perched himself upon David's chest to give a bit of friendly advice. Normally he was all about letting David do things his own way, but right now they were on a bit of a timetable since others were waiting on them.
"Yeah...I guess." The boy picked himself up and relieved himself of the encumbrance, instead opting to drag it on the ground from the top. The whole reason for using the ATs in the first place was because he absolutely could not walk normally with this thing, so he began dragging it behind him towards the noise.
Soon, the source of the loud noise came into view: A large boulder next to two humans and a hawkmon, one of whom matched the description Kaya gave of herself. "Hey guys," David projected towards the trio as he methodically took two steps, gave the bag a big pull, then repeated. "Are you-" Step step pull, "Who I'm-" Step step pull, "Meeting here?"
With one final great pull, David lifted the bag just barely high and barely long enough to swing it in front of himself and drop it there. It was almost as tall as David himself, only his eyes peeking out over the top of the burgeoning backpack. "I brought stuff." Everyone is searching for a world where they belong. Kaya looked up from her D-Terminal when she heard a voice call out to her. She turned around to give whoever it was a friendly greeting. "Mhm! I'm KayaKyukon, and you-" She paused when she saw that ripped kid from earlier drop a BOULDER onto the ground.
OH MY GOSH IT'S THAT KID?!
The girl just stared at the kid in complete disbelief. She just couldn't fathom how a kid her age could be so strong, could look so... muscly! To keep the situation from being awkward, Hawkeye ahemed and nudged his wing on Kaya's leg, allowing the human to snap out of it. "Er, right... yeah, I'm Kaya Matsui."
"And my name is Hawkeye. It is a pleasure to meet you both."
They would then hear the sounds of something being dragged towards them. Kaya and Hawkeye turned their heads towards the sound to see a little kid dragging a backpack that looked WAY too big for him, a Betamon by his side. He somehow managed to throw it in front of him, revealing the bag to be nearly as big as he was, saying he had brought stuff. "Did you bring your whole bedroom here?" Kaya asked in between small laughs, inspecting the backpack.
"I am impressed. I could not imagine someone of your size and strength actually carrying this." Hawkeye walked up to the backpack. "What exactly did you bring, anyways?"
