Digimon Name: Amber
Default Form: Renamon X
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral Good
Skills/Talents:
- "Billiards" Physics: Perhaps as a necessity for controlling light energy, Amber is in tune with how "things bounce off of other things", whether with rays of light or general projectiles. As such, she can more easily predict the arc of her own techniques, as well as that of her adversaries.
- Positivity: Amber is very hard to discourage, and its hard for her to lose heart. For herself and for her sister.
- A dark-red cloak - Half to deal with the cold weather of Whitewater, and half to keep her light from accidentally blinding those around her.
- A pocket mirror.
Personality:
- Outgoing: Amber is not the type to let life roll by. She's the type to get bored easily, to get restless, and to want to do something new - or at the very least, something that interests her! Left alone on a long Trailmon, and with nothing to occupy her time, Amber would often find herself fidgeting, tapping the edge of the seat, or idly creating small displays of light between her palms. In that end...
- Creative: Amber wouldn't call herself an artist, but she enjoys figuring out what she can do with her 'light tricks', or even what she can do in general. She's not one to shy away from a simple solution if there is one - no need to reinvent the wheel, of course - but in front of a complicated or interesting problem, Amber would much rather try and figure out a way to do it herself, rather than seek help or look for the answer. She has her own 'systems' to do things, even if she invents them on the spot!
- Extrovert: This Renamon is the type who will give anyone a shot, once! She loves meeting people, and learning what they have to say, even if it gets her in trouble occasionally. That said...
- Practical; Half Glass-Empty: That outgoing, thinking personality can put her on the back foot. She can easily see the negatives of certain situations, and though it doesn't paralyze her, she's perhaps surprisingly a pessimist behind all those happy smiles!
Personal History:
I feel it.
There’s something out there… something I don’t understand yet. I feel a presence near me – one almost like my own – but there’s more than that. I can tell that, even just in this egg: the powerful, steady one who is gentle with me, and a more lively, energetic one who is just happy to say hi. But aside from that?
Ugh, its dark. Cramped. Something is telling me that it’s not time yet, but who are they to say that? Heck, who are ‘they’ at all? I don’t just want to be here, cramped in… wherever I am, in this egg.
I want to meet them. I want to see the owners of those gentle hands, to see the source of those signals. Are they parents? Are they family? Or am I in the place where all eggs eventually end up?
…
I wonder what’s in store for me. Maybe my parents were ordinary – something boring, like a doctor – or maybe they were heroes, fighting monsters to save the world! I wonder if I’ll be anything like that. I wonder if I’ll be anything like them. But one thing’s for sure: I’m not going to figure it out in here.
It can’t be long now, right?

Abilities:
- [Non-Combat Passive] - Prismatic: Amber can control the light directly between her palms, about six inches away, and separate it across the visible spectrum. At this stage, she can't create definitive shapes or figures, but she can create small, prismatic light shows between and above her palms. Obviously, this has limited application and no practical application in combat.
- Prismatic Storm: Amber's version of the 'Diamond Storm' technique, Amber conjures a number of leaves and turns them into thin panes of glass. Light is then emitted from her body and concentrated through the lens, shooting out a shotgun-blast of light-based energy bullets in the area in front of her. Deals impact and burning damage on contact. Two post cooldown.
- Prismatic Misdirection: Amber controls the light around her, and simply vanishes from common eyesight (though her data signal is still visible). She can use this for an attack of opportunity. Taking any damage terminates this technique early, and she is revealed after using a different technqiue. Three post duration, three post cooldown.
- Radiant Shift: Amber's version of the 'Displacement' or 'Kohenkyo' technique. Amber teleports over a short range, up to fifteen feet away from her initial position, trails of light particles giving away her direction. Two post cooldown.
- Radiant Beam: Her strongest attack at this form: Amber holds a palm out, creating a single, focused lens in front of her claw, before focusing light energy into the focus point. A powerful, multi-colored ray of energy is short out towards the target in a straight line, with an effective range of at least 30 feet. It can bounce off of reflective surfaces as well. Three post cooldown.

Species: Kyubimon
Appearance: (X)
Attribute: Data
Family: Virus Buster
Type: Beast
Fighting Style: Amber is an opportunistic type, preferring to blind enemies and sneak into their blind spots. This is true, even in this larger form.
Abilities:
- [Non-Combat Passive] - Prismatic: Amber can control the light directly between her tails, and separate it across the visible spectrum. At this stage, she can create colorful 'laser lightshows' in front of her with simple shapes - though this has little combat application.
- Luminescent Wheel: An extension of a Kyubimon's 'Dragon Wheel', the flames on Amber's tail glow incandescently bright, the blinding fire circling once around her to create a dragon's head, before crashing at the enemy's location within a range of twenty feet. Inflicts fire damage on hit. Three Post Cooldown.
- Rip and Tear: Amber attempts to viciously bite at a target from close range. Missing with this technique does not put it on cooldown, and attempting to use the technique does not break Prismatic Misdirection - rather, Amber only becomes visible after this attack succeeds. Two Post Cooldown
- Tengu: Amber lets out a fierce howl, dealing minor sound damage in a cone in front of her. Additionally, those affected by Tengu lose one positive buff currently affecting them, which cannot be reapplied during this move's effective duration. Two post duration, three post cooldown.
- Luminescent Bullet: A simple attack that creates a light-filled crystal above Amber's spread tails, and aims it towards a target in a straight line. No cooldown.
- Radiant Beam: Amber's strongest attack at this form: Amber focuses her tails, creating a single, focused lens above her, before focusing light energy into the focus point. A powerful, multi-colored ray of energy is short out towards the target in a straight line, with an effective range of at least 100 feet. It can bounce off of reflective surfaces as well. Once Per Thread.
