Personality:
Needs of the Many
While she hasn't experienced too many moral dilemmas in her life, Honoka always tries to choose what's best for the people around her as a whole. When confronted with the Trolley Problem, she would undoubtedly choose to save the group of people over the single person.
Nobody's Best Friend
Naturally extroverted, Honoka can easily get along with almost anyone. However, she rarely gets personal with people, and usually keeps herself too busy to form deep, meaningful relationships.
Always Striving, Always Improving
She learned early on in her life that good things can happen if you just apply yourself, so she's taken this to heart. She's never satisfied with who she is so she always works hard to improve herself in some way, be it through her studies or training.
Righteous Kindness
As a confident teenager, Honoka knows everything there is about the world, as well as what's best for everyone. If she encounters someone with problematic behavior, she'll attempt to correct it, though she won't get forceful.
Smile Through the Pain
Negativity only hampers results, so Honoka always keeps a smile and a positive attitude handy. She takes a fake it 'til you make it approach to happiness to the point where she can fool even herself.
Her Own Harshest Critic
Honoka can be strict when dealing with lazy or immoral people and always tries to get them to improve themselves. But she's by no means a hypocrite; the person she pushes the hardest is herself, as she's never satisfied with her own results.
Lost in Darkness
Plagued by crippling Nyctophobia, all of Honoka's confidence and discipline fades away when stuck in dark places. When in complete darkness, she's little more than a helpless child.
Her One True Passion...?
Honoka has a number of activities and interests, from participating in gymnastics, studying botany and flower arrangement, watching both sumo and pro wrestling, Honoka has found her latest and greatest passion in dance choreography.
Closet Thrill-seeker
While she would never admit it, Honoka is something of an adrenaline junkie. She secretly enjoys balancing up on high places or diving underwater until she runs out of air. She actively tries to fight against this vice of hers, however.
Poor and Proud
Between her life growing up poor and the hardships she's had to endure thus far, Honoka is proud of her accomplishments and is loathe to accept charity from others. She only accepts something when she's earned it, and due to her low opinions of herself, that can be quite rare.
Can't Pick Her Own Battles
Unless it's a clearly suicidal situation, if Honoka sees a situation she thinks she can resolve on her own, she doesn't hesitate to do so. She will defer to authorities if they happen to be around, though.
Appearance: Honoka normally keeps her hair tied up whenever she goes outside. She's active and prefers to wear clothing that doesn't hamper her movement in any way, so she owns very few shirts with sleeves, long skirts, and tight pants. At least, ones that aren't ripped. She keeps her mother's bracelet on at all times, save for gymnastic meets. As she's worried that she'll lose it and due to financial reasons, she doesn't wear any kind of jewelry save for hair accessories that she's received as a gift. Unless absolutely distressed, she will almost always have smile on her face, whether it's forced or not. Her hair is completely natural, though she doesn't understand that it's unusual.

Personal History:
Family Members:
Father - Satoru Nijimura (Age 41)
Mother - Natsuko Nijimura (Deceased. Passed away at age 31)
Brother - Daichi Nijimura (Age 23)
Brother - Eiji Nijimura (Age 20)
Brother - Naoki Nijimura (Age 17)
Father - Satoru Nijimura (Age 41)
Mother - Natsuko Nijimura (Deceased. Passed away at age 31)
Brother - Daichi Nijimura (Age 23)
Brother - Eiji Nijimura (Age 20)
Brother - Naoki Nijimura (Age 17)
The youngest and only daughter of four children to Satoru and Natsuko Nijimura; the owners of a Flower Shop, Hanasaki Rainbow. At the age of four, Honoka expressed interest and a phenomenal talent in music and dance for someone her age. As such, her mother saw fit to nurture her talent and encourage her daughter to excel in these fields. She underwent a variety of different lessons, from ballet, gymnastics, singing, to piano. She didn't mind any of it at first. Most of it was fun for her, and she adored being praised by everyone around her. They seemed happy that she was so good at stuff.
But after talent comes mastery. And with mastery, perfection. Whenever she performed, every mistake she made became the focal point of her efforts. Her father always supported her no matter what, but her mother always drove her to excel. Honoka wasn't happy anymore, and neither was her mother. When she would ask her mother what the point was if no one was happy anymore, she would get yelled at and pushed even harder. She began to resent her pursuits she once found an interest in, as well as her own mother. At the tender age of eight, the girl began to wish that her mother would just disappear.
And her wish was granted. One night, Honoka and her mother were driving home from a ballet recital in which Honoka had purposefully under-performed. She was in the middle of being lectured on the consequences of slacking off when everything began to spin and roll out of control. Miraculously, Honoka was unharmed, but she sat trapped in the back seat of the vehicle, in complete darkness for what seemed like an eternity. When she was eventually freed, her new reality began.
The loss of her mother affected Honoka's father and brothers each differently, but for Honoka, the child couldn't help but nonsensically blame herself. It was silly to thank that her wish got her mother killed, but... maybe if she could have made her mother a little happier, somehow. Just been more skilled and put forth a little more effort. They wouldn't have gotten into an argument on the road. There was a massive hole in her family, and it was all Honoka's fault. So she had to be the one to fill it in.
But life doesn't stop after the loss of a loved one, and Honoka and her family had to adapt. Honoka began focusing more on her studies, as well as learning more about Hanasaki Rainbow in order to help out the family business. She didn't think she could ever pick up ballet again, but she excelled in gymnastics over any of her other pursuits. Even without her mother, she found the drive to excel within herself. But not everyone had adapted as well as the girl. When Honoka was in her first year of junior high, Rainbow was struggling far too much to stay operational. Her father just couldn't run the business by himself, and no one else had the knowledge that Natsuko had to properly manage the shop. The only way for the shop to survive was for the shop to become trendy despite its awful location and lousy management.
So that's when Honoka decided to become an online sensation. It all started with just a group project with some acquaintances. Under the username Nijika, Honoka performed covers of silly pop-songs while dancing around various flower arrangements inside Hanasaki Rainbow. The videos became viral, and Honoka began recording more. The videos were hard to make, as due to a lack of editing prowess, they had to be shot in a single take. But what were essentially commercials for her family flower shop made a difference, as the store began to thrive and profit. For once in her life, Honoka's hard work and effort had finally begun to make people... happy.
But with the speed of the internet, the idea of a girl dancing in a flower shop lost its appeal to most people as a whole, and Honoka had no intention of making videos long-term, regardless. Even so, she re-discovered a love for dancing she thought was lost, and would occasionally post a new video throughout her junior-high years. Even so, the time her efforts bought allowed her father to get the business's head on straight, and with her and Eiji's help, the shop has been able to keep afloat.
Now a high-school student and with her efforts having been validated, Honoka is ready to work harder than ever before! She's determined to make everyone around her smile. And maybe - just maybe - she'll be able to truly smile as well.

Name: Naoki Nijimura
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 158cm // 5'2"
Weight: 53kg // 117 lbs
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (Good)
Birth Date: October 4th
Birth Place: Tokyo, Japan
Skills/Talents:
- Surprisingly skilled scrapper, despite his short stature. Naturally good reflexes and a high tolerance for pain.
- Phenomenal tenor voice, though he never sings in public.
- When provided with a plethora of choices, has the uncanny ability to make the worst choice 100% of the time.
Personality: While it seems like he and his little sister couldn't be any more different, the fact is that they have a lot of similarities, just in different ways. Like his little sis, Naoki abides by a strict code that he strictly tries to uphold at all times. However, while Honoka's code strives from following the rules and making sure she and everyone around her tries to better themselves, Naoki's code is more about the people around him than abiding by some rules "the man" put in place.
While he would never call himself an anarchist, Naoki has difficulties tolerating authority figures. He can't stand others telling him what to do, and would rather "live freely" than do what's expected of him. However, it's not like he's by any means revolutionary. Mostly, Naoki prefers to keep his distance from others, and all their expectations on how he should be.
Naoki's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and he knows it, so he prefers to keep things simple. As such, he tends to have a very black-and-white viewpoint of right and wrong. However, he's aware that most of the world tends to be pretty gray, but these circumstances require some time for him to get the right level of shading in.
When faced with injustice, Naoki prefers to take matters into his own hands rather than rely on an authority figure, so he's often getting into little scraps here and there. He's a bit of a hot-head, so he can often misinterpret situations and get a little too intense at times. He's also incredibly stubborn, and has issues dealing with admitting fault and realizing that he's in the wrong.
But ultimately, Naoki is a kind-hearted person whose circumstances prevent him from showing people his particular brand of kindness. But he's uncomfortable when confronted with gratitude, so that's something he's perfectly fine with.
Appearance: Naoki is loathe to admit it, mostly because he'd rather be tough and burly-looking, but his rather effeminate appearance can make him rather attractive when he puts his mind to it, and his face isn't covered in scrapes and bruises. He has a lithe, yet sturdy build which makes him rather athletic, even though he's not nearly disciplined enough to be an athlete. He has light blue hair which he insists is completely natural, though neither of his parents had the same kind of hair color.
FaceClaim: UTA NO PRINCE-SAMA • ai mikaze • Naoki Nijimura
Personal History: The third of four children, Naoki only had a year of being the baby of the family before Honoka was born, so he never really got to experience the novelty of being the youngest child. And truth be told, he never liked his baby sister very much. She was always getting most of their parents attention, and she always seemed to do no wrong. Not to mention that she seemed to get good at almost everything she tried. She was the youngest child, but being compared to her set something of an inferiority complex within little Naoki.
And when he was only nine, his mother and his little sister got involved in an automobile incident, and while Honoka survived relatively unharmed, his mother didn't survive. And that loss created a downwards spiral for the boy, not to mention the whole family. Honoka and Naoki's older brothers all managed to work through their grief in different ways, but Naoki never really recovered. He was at constant conflict within himself. He blamed his little sister for their mother's death, yet he knew that she blamed herself even more, and there was no one suffering more than she was. So even when grieving their mother, Honoka was better than Naoki.
But unlike his sister, Naoki didn't have any extraordinary talents to help the family out, and he lacked the patience and discipline to sally forth and help in any meaningful way. So he mostly did his best to stay out of his family's way. Daichi went of to university to become a doctor or lawyer or something... they never really got along much. And Eiji worked off various odd jobs on top of working at the flower shop. And Honoka continued to be little miss perfect, even taking up the mantle of primary nagger to remind Naoki how much he sucked.
Maybe it was just inferiority complex at work, but being around people so much more driven and talented than Naoki was suffocating, so he started hanging around people about as talented as he was. The fuck-ups in life. The people who, like him, made terrible decisions just to feel like they could belong somewhere. And somehow, he ended up getting involved with some rather shady figures.
It started with making deliveries of packages with contents he was explicitly told not to discover, as well as making other random errands like delivering coded messages and the like. But he could tell there was something far more sinister than what he was involved in, but he did his best to ignore all that and just do whatever he felt like. And before long, he was assisting some well-dressed thugs visit local shops and watch them ensure their "protection".
And now Naoki was involved in circumstances well beyond his control, and if he tried to get out on his own, he might not be the only person to pay the consequences. So... lately, Naoki's fallen on hard times, unable to enact his own sense of justice, while unwilling to ask anyone for help.
