"Then you guys need to adjust to new times!" Honoka shot back at the pair of Gotsumon. "Because all you're doing right now is clinging to your old ways of life just because you're afraid of making a change, and getting in the way of all the other Digimon that are trying to do just that! And I wouldn't be bragging on about being the strongest when we're the ones winning right now!" She really did take a step backwards when the two Digimon were mentioned "finishing" her off. Why were they so gung-ho about murder!? Still, thanks to Hachi's sudden reappearance, the leader was sent flying forward. With the other one still reeling from pain, Honoka faced the one remaining rock Digimon.
"Sunshine... Bullet!!!" The sunlight energy all around her body suddenly condensed into her hand, and a concentrated bolt of light suddenly shot out from her flowery hand... and into the ground, leaving a nasty scorch mark right in front of the Gotsumon. At this point, Honoka was unable to keep the irritation out of her voice. "I already said that we don't want a fight! So congratulations, you outnumbered us and we still just kicked your asses! So if you really believe in the strong conquering the weak, then that means you have to do what we say! Take your friends and get out of town! We still have no idea how strong we are, but you should be damned sure that you don't want to be around to find out!"
- Honoka used "lecture the bad guys instead of fighting!" - Honoka used "threaten the bad guys into leaving due to a pathological need to avoid violence!"

The Sunshine Bullet slammed right into the gut of the last Gotsumon, slamming him right into the wall behind him. He groaned as he got up, limping over to his poisoned comrade and helping him up before booking it out of there with their leader, all while Honoka had lectured them. Once they were out of sight, bug-Digimon Hachi crawled up to the flower Digimon. "They must've... been pretty flimsy in the end, huh?"
Once they were gone, the Otamamon peeked out from his hiding place, which happened to be one of the garbage bins by the street. "Are... are they gone?"
"No rock monsters that I can see. You should be free to live your days inside of a house instead of the garbage."
Ecstatic, Otamamon hopped out of the garbage bin and hopped over to the two saviors. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I don't think they'll be bugging me for quite a while. Even though they're rookies, they actually are far stronger than me, and they threatened to take everything I had if I didn't give them fifteen percent... oh, hold on a second, wait here!"
Otamamon would hop into the alleyway door that lead into his general store before coming back out, a small stack of paper bills in each hand. "Here, this is the fifteen percent I owed the Gotsumon. It's the least I can do to pay you back. If you don't accept it as payment, it's a donation!" It appeared that Otamamon wouldn't be satisfied unless they took the money...

"Yeah..." Honoka nodded to Hachi as she watched the three rock Digimon make a retreat. "Kind of ironic, if you think about it!" Her Floramon form faded away and she suddenly stood before everyone as a human once more. Hopefully she wouldn't ever have to hear about them ever again. She should make sure to check up on the tadpole Digimon next time she came around to these parts.
Next time... For some reason she already knew that she would be coming back to this Digital World place, even after she left. It was a strange world, with some rather rude residents, but it still contained so much beauty, as well its fair share of kind people.
The tadpole Digimon ran up to them and praised them before just as quickly running back and returning with a stack of bills. Honoka immediately wanted to refuse the offer, but she could tell that the shopkeeper wasn't going to take no for an answer. Still, beating up the people trying to extort the shopkeeper felt like she was extorting the shopkeeper herself, so it quite sit right with her.
"Well... I only did it because it seemed like the right thing to do... A reward's not really necessary..." She admitted, even though she felt tacky for saying that kind of stuff out loud. "But Hachi-san! You can take it! You're the one that did most of the fighting, anyway! All I did was yell at them a bunch... sorry..." She scratched the back of her head out of nervousness. She really wished that she could have gotten a hold of some authorities or something. She spun to the tadpole Digimon and gave a quick bow. "Oh, and my name is Honoka, by the way! This is my friend, Hachi! It's nice to meet you, even though I think we both would have preferred less exciting circumstances!"

Hachi's Digimon form faded away at almost the same time as Honoka's did, the two now back in their original human forms. Hachi gave a quick look at his right hand afterwards. "What a shame; I was just getting used to having claws," he said non-chalantly.
As expected, Honoka refused the offer for the bits, but Otamamon persisted, standing his ground now unlike before with the Gotsumon. He seemed determined to actively shove this money into the humans' pockets if they refused otherwise. Honoka suggested that Hachi take the reward instead. If Honoka was expecting Hachi to act at all like Honoka, refusing to take the money, she was dead wrong. "Yeah, sure, I'll take it," he said with a shrug.
After Otamamon handed Hachi the short stack of paper bills, with the human putting them in his pocket, Honoka introduced herself and Hachi to the Otamamon in a formal matter. "Well, Honoka and Hachi, I am very thankful for your help today! You're welcome at my store anytime; we sell a wide variety of things! Hope to see you again!" The Otamamon happily waved the two humans goodbye before entering back into his shop.
"We better go find Wizardmon now," Hachi suggested. "Do you want to tell him about what just happened or should I?"

As Hachi reverted back to his human form and mentioned the comment of having claws, Honoka had to wonder about her own spirit form. After all, having flowers for hands didn't seem entirely practical for most day-to-day activities. Well, it wasn't like she was going to use that form willy-nilly. Besides, she wasn't even sure if she could take that form again... but something in the back of her mind was telling her that it was possible. She gave her D-Tector a glance, seeing Floramon's visage on the small screen. She was smiling at her, waving one flowery hand while remaining completely silent. Nervous, she immediately put her Digivice away. She now had a ghost living in her magic gadget thingy. Wonderful.
Hachi accepted Otamamon's offer and told them to stop by any time. "You bet! And feel free to tell us if those bullies ever come back, okay? We'll chase em' off a hundred times if we have to! Nice to meet you!" Otamamon went back inside, leaving Honoka and Hachi alone. He suggested that they go back to Wizardmon and tell him what happened.
"Oh, I'll tell him, if you don't want to..." Honoka offered. But she didn't know exactly what she should tell him. That they transformed into Digimon? That they got attacked by a group of surprisingly weak Rock Digimon? That they made a new friend? Well, she supposed she could just tell Wizardmon all of those things. But then Honoka realized something. "But Hachi-san, do you know the way back? You took off all of a sudden, so it was all I could do just following you and avoiding the crowds... I don't think I know the way back..."

Now that that ordeal was finally over, Hachi suggested that the two humans-turned-Digimon-turned-back-to-humans go find Wizardmon again, and tell him what happened at this shop. Honoka offered to tell him if Hachi didn't want to. "Nah, I think I'll be the one to tell him. I think I'm better with words than you are." This could definitely be interpreted as an accidental insult.
Then Honoka brought up a good question. Since Hachi just took off after the bug spirit that he eventually turned into, DID Hachi know the way back to where Wizardmon was? Turns out that he didn't. "Unfortunately no... I was moreso focused on following that bug spirit. Maybe they know the way back?"
"Ah, there you two are," A sudden familiar voice had called out. It might have scared Honoka, but Hachi wasn't they type to get so easily scared. The Wizardmon was standing in front of the two teenagers, his arms crossed and his left foot tapping lightly. "I saw a group of Gotsumon running by, claiming how they were beaten by a couple of human kids. You wouldn't have something to do with that, would you?"
"Yeah, we did," Hachi said, not beating around the bush here, his trademark expression in full force. "We turned into Digimon to stop them from ganging up on someone."
"Turned into Digimon? So you two... are Spirit Users? Had a feeling you were, based on your Digivices."

"That's... Hachi-san..." Honoka's smile cracked for a second as her mouth began twitching. Did he seriously just say that to her face? And why did he ask which one of them wanted to tell Wizardmon in the first place!? "Well, if you want to, then I don't have any reason to stop you..." She supposed her words have been rather... floundering since she got here to the Digital World, but it's not like she's some kind of social buffoon! Still, Hachi was better at taking this kind of stuff in stride, and compared to that there wasn't much she could say.
Then Wizardmon came up from behind the two. Honoka suddenly let out a brief shriek in shock as she suddenly shoved Hachi to the side to protect him and held up her Digivice in front of her like a can of pepper spray. "I have a flower, you creepy rock-" But it wasn't the Gotsumon that was speaking to the kids, but Wizardmon himself. She let out a sigh of relief as Hachi filled Wizardmon with what went on.
"But it's true that we... drove them off, I guess. And... to be honest, it was kind of easy. I guess I expected them to be more... solid? After all, I turned into a flower, and Hachi-san turned into an insect. Things really don't make sense here..." Her eyes widened as she gave Wizardmon an apologetic look. "But I'm just saying it's a little different, is all! It's not like you're world is bad, Mr. Wizardmon!"
Honoka let out an exasperated sigh. She was beginning to realize what Hachi meant when he said that she wasn't good with words.

Hachi emotionlessly fell to the ground when Honoka had pushed him out of the way to "protect him". The human didn't even hold his arms out to break his fall or anything of the sort. He just fell right to the ground, his smirk still present on his face."That hurt," he simply said as he picked himself up from the ground.
The Wizardmon remained unphased even when Honoka was trying to threaten him. I guess she was just that nonthreatening as a human. Which was a good trait, Wizardmon thought, as that would mean her opponents would underestimate her, which could be used to her advantage.
Hachi explained the situation to the Wizardmon, with Honoka confirming all that he had said to be the truth. "Well... it was wreckless to simply jump in without a clue as to what you're doing, but all turned out for the best it seems, so I cannot be too mad. But you two must learn to control your Spirits, as well as find the remaining ones."
"The remaining spirits?"
"Ah, yes. You two can become more powerful Digimon if you can find the Spirits that were meant for you. The Human spirit, the Beast spirit, the Fused spirit, and the Ancient spirit. I believe I heard rumors of a Human spirit somewhere in the Cipher Jungle, now that I think about it. Your Sprite spirits will help guide the way for your journey."
"So that's what the ones we turned into are called? Hm... maybe the Cipher Jungle is where I can find my Human Spirit."
"Just be careful if you do decide to go there. And bring something to cool you off."
"Oh, the shop owner rewarded us for helping him," Hachi mentioned, pulling out a short stack of bills. "We DID technically work for it, and you may need it more than I do."
"R-Really?" Wizardmon asked as he accepted the bills. "Why... thank you, Hachi. I very much appreciate the gester... plus I can probably actually afford dinner tonight for a change."
With everything said and done with, Hachi decided it was time to head out. "Well, I suppose that spirit isn't going to wait for much longer. I'm gonna go to the Cipher Jungle to try and find it. Maybe I'll become an even bigger bug this time, heheh." And just like that, Hachi's adventures in the Digital World have begun.

As Wizardmon was explaining the fact that all spirit users had multiple spirits to look after, Honoka had her mind elsewhere. First she wanted to apologize to Hachi, as she didn't intend to shove him that hard. She supposed he was lighter than he seemed. She supposed he should try and convince him to change his diet, perhaps add some more protein to increase muscle mass as well as change up his exercise routines to add some flexibility training to help with his coordination.
Hachi said something about going to the Jungle, which snapped the girl out of her thoughts. It wasn't like Hachi would take any of her advice, anyway. "Well... the jungle definitely sounds interesting, but... don't you think you should get home? I mean..." Hachi began to walk off.
Honoka took a deep breath and shouted after the young man. "Listen up, Hachi! Adventuring in this world is fine, but don't neglect your studies, okay?" She clenched her fist, grit her teeth, and then yelled. "And just because you're really creepy and smug about stuff doesn't mean that we aren't friends now! So don't be afraid to call me if you're ever in need of help!"
After her rant/lecture, Honoka bowed to the Wizardmon with a far more composed face. "Wizardmon-san! Thank you very much for helping us! I'm gonna head back to the human world now, but I promise to come by and visit you again! So if you're ever in town, feel free to look me up, okay?"
Honoka spun around and headed back towards the Trailmon Station, she had an interesting day so far, but it was finally time for things to get back to normal. She didn't exactly get any Digital World seeds, but as she gripped her D-Tector, she realized that she got all the flowers she wanted from this place. Still, she had to think about it. What exactly was supposed to be "normal" anymore?
