She wanted to draw, and Silence wanted to draw with her! The Viximon's tail wagged, as she followed along with the Shutmon, but before she even got up, the wolf's eyes were on the little cub. The Viximon had already hopped down to go to where she knew the crayons were, and stopped, blinking and turning around as her mama stopped.
"Doing what, mama?" The fox looked down at herself, seeing the glow cast against the floor. "Oh! Yes, Amber is! Amber learned how to do this yesterday!" The fox giggled, and made herself glow just a bit brighter. "Imma light, Mama!"
She was excited, yes - so much that she butted her head against the Shutmon's ankle, a bad little habit that she had, because people could trip over her, or worse, fall right on her. She was just excited, though, she wanted to draw! At the comment about three eyes, Mikemon found himself giving a small laugh. "N-not quite, Coal. I'll explain it better later on - but its an eye that you have, that is very similar to the eyes that I have."
That was about the best way that he could explain it to a child! And it was okay that Coal didn't know what she wanted to do with the eye, the comment earning a scratch at the back of her head. "Oh, I'm sure it'll come to you eventually, hun... and. Hm... green?"
Green. A particular color, but it made sense after a moment of thought! "Well, Coal, the outside of everyone's data is a little bit 'green' to me, too. What you're seeing is called a 'Wire-Frame'." The feline carefully sounded out those words, for Coal to follow along! His ear would flick as Holly spoke up, the doctor returning a nod.
"For now, we know that the current filter makes it less painful for her. If she's seeing too much green, all we need to do is tint the lenses red - the one over the yellow eye a bit more than the other, but they still need to match."
He'd turn his attention back to Coal. "What do you think? Did Holly and I do a good job with these goggles?"

The shutmon let out a low rumbling laugh and shifted to watch her child; she had gone to her crayons and well. The little one explained that she had learned how to do this yesterday. She must have been so proud of herself and Silence couldn’t blame her. She’d reach down to gently rub along the top of the viximon’s head.
”My little light.”
The shutmon teased for a moment and found herself shifting ever so slightly at that headbut. She didn’t mind it too much herself given that she was fairly steady when it came to her steps. She’d pause and consider something before rubbing along one of the viximon’s ears.
”Just don’t do it too much okay? Don’t want you to tucker yourself out now! Especially not before I get to see what you draw~”
The shutmon spun her own utensil around in her hand and then got to work; she had an idea of what to go for here and well.. The viximon didn’t need to stay in place too long for her to do so….
”So… it’s just… Simular… Simular means. Somewhat same right?”
The small black viximon furrowed her brows and then blinked slowly as the other told her that it would come to her eventually. He didn’t seem worried about her eye and well… She didn’t think he needed to now. Now that she could see and it didn’t hurt so much.
”Y-yeah. Ah… I don’t know what color it is exactly but it’s a green. Kinda… Lighter green; not… super bright like Sis is though...”
She seemed hesitant and the viximon shifted to look at her sister as they spoke. The wire-frame was what she was seeing? She’d blink owlishly as she had no idea what that was. She’d purse her lips a bit and then huff up at her father.
”What’s a wireframe?”
Perhaps this viximon was a touch more curious about things than her sister and quite a bit less adventurous! Holly tilted her head to one side as her da explained how this current filter worked. Too much green and they’d just tint the lenses red. Holly would have to do that later or help her father with it.
”Makes sense. Right now we’re using a soft tint of the stuff. If we add just a little bit more it should work.”
Holly scratched at her chin and stared at her sister. Smiling warmly before moving to pick up the little viximon. Who in response let out a small harumph. She didn’t mind getting picked up but… She liked being asked first more often than not.
”Y-yeah. Though… if i concentrate super hard the itchy comes back… is that normal?”

"Eheh!"
The Viximon found herself nuzzling to that hand, and at her ma's encouragement, the light given off from her fur started to fade. She once more looked like a normal, healthy fox-ball, and it wouldn't take her long to climb up onto the chair, then onto the table, eyes looking to her blank piece of paper and the drawing utensils. Of course, Amber was a kid, and she went for the bright, colorful box of crayons!
A blue one, in particular. She didn't have much idea of what she wanted to do from the start, and just started drawing and coloring near the top of the page. Well, she needed to make a sky, right? Or was it a sea? Even Amber didn't entirely know, yet! But it at least kept the little fox entertained, and gave Silence a bit to sketch a bit of her own drawing.
Maybe Amber had a thing for art? Or maybe she just would like a coloring book! "Very good! Similar means 'almost the same'."
The feline was proud of Coal's ability to learn, and that analysis earned the small fox a scratch behind her ear. And yes, the Viximon did see in green - though his ear flicked at that last part. Wait, Holly was brighter than he was? Eh, that was probably because the MeiCrackmon was in ultimate, while the doctor was still in champion.
"Mm... a 'wireframe' is like the outside of something made out of data. You have fur, right?" He carefully ran his hand down Coal's back. "Its like that. Its a bunch of small 'lines' that make up the outside border of... well, everything. The table, me, you, your sister - we all have wireframes. Some are more complex than others, though."
Past that, all they really had to do was make the lenses more red. Seeing Coal picked up in Holly's arms, and seeing Coal fidget a bit, the feline gave a blink. "... You alright, there?"
As for concentrating, the cat gave a nod. "Mhm. Even my eyes itch when I try to use them like that. And you might see more interesting 'colors' if you try and focus on that eye, but... um... for now, you should try just keeping the eye open, alright?"

”Now lets see here…”
The shutmon smiled warmly as the other nuzzled into her hand, she’d give them a gentle squeeze and then let the other go back to their drawing. Or rather the tools of the trade! It seemed as though that the little viximon liked blue. Sky, sea or otherwise silence would be glad to see her artsy little fox do what they wanted.
She on the other hand?
Well she’d draw a very life-like still of the viximon, curled up and sleeping on a very particular shutmon’s lap. A re-enactment of their day just a bit ago in fact. It was something she enjoyed doing and she didn’t mind the gentle interactions. Silence would have to remember to pick up a coloring book or something for her daughter; she figured that they would like to explore that particular venue given their drive for certain things!
Coal managed a small smile; wiggling her body and stumbling a bit while the other might have scritched her a bit too hard. The viximon flumping face-first on the ground and she couldn’t help but giggle at that. She didn’t mind; in fact that was something she didn’t seem bothered by; some people being affectionate to her to that degree.
”Wireframe. That’s… the… the Fur yes. I have fur. Ah…? Small lines. Wires… So… Fur is like wires. And fur is like frames?”
Holly smiled softly and gave the viximon a soft rub before putting her back down. If they didn’t want to be held they didn’t want to be held. Sometimes it was difficult figuring out what a youngster would do if picked up. And by who they were picked up by.
”Just… surprised da…”
The small viximon tilted her head to one side as the other told her about what she could do with it. What colors she could see in the future… but for now she should keep the eye open!
”Okay! I’ll… do that. As much as I can!”
Coal smiled up at the other two and well… She’d trot off before slipping and thumping on the ground. She’d huff a bit before righting herself and had to get used to her center being slightly off by the goggles.
”Note to self… lighter frame…”
Holly mumbled to herself and turned to go back into her room, she needed to do some more studying and she’d have to order something to fix those goggles for her younger sister!
Now with every family, every child that they had. One part was them growing. Growing in ways that many couldn’t expect. These children didn’t seem to have the same growth pattern as syre or holly. Nothing insanely fast or considered ‘slow’ in ways. And in no way were either like siris. Lacking guidance and left to wander for their early life.
A few days later was the fated day where Coal and amber would find their rookie forms. One very quickly after the other. One shy and introverted, hiding in her room. She felt odd and strange and this body was hard for her to get a handle on. Feet were weird and she kept crashing into things! Though nothing serious; she was having a rough time and eventually was just laying on the floor staring up at the cieling.
The goggles she had didn't fit anymore, or at the very least the strap she had was too small. So one of her eyes had snapped shut yet again while the other wildly looked around.
"J-jeez..."
Silence on the other hand was grinning ear to ear, staring down at her daughter and folding her arms in such a way to give the other the sense that the shutmon was assessing her. Stance. Power. Everything!
”How’s it feel my little light? Standing on your own two feet?”

Coal might have been hiding in her room, but that didn't mean that Amber left her alone!
Even while they were Viximon, Amber enjoyed hanging out in Coal's room, and today was no different - even if they were a touch taller, had an extra tail, and could actually walk on two feet. Amber stretched out her back. She was a Renamon a good few hours longer than Coal, so it made sense that she already had a sense of balance.
The goggles didn't fit? Amber fiddled with the strap, loosening them as much as she could, trying to pull them over her own head for reference. "Mmm... don't think there's much I can do past that. It'd still be tight on your face. Maybe ask Holly if she can make a new pair?"
She did what she could! And as Silence doted over Amber, the Renamon let out a chuckle! "Energizing, I'd say! This place is a lot less 'big' than I thought it was... though you're still quite the tall mom, yourself." Sheesh, comparing 'dad' to 'mom' in that respect was a bit jarring. Mikemon was less than half her height, whereas the Shutmon was almost twice her own!
"And it feels good that this," the Renamon held up a palm, a dancing light skipping across it, "Doesn't take as much effort anymore. Seriously, I tried to make my whole body do that?"

Coal groaned a little bit and tried to make herself a bit smaller; she didn’t feel comfortable in this form. It was big, loafy and just… Too much to handle. She’d rub at her head and just tried to hide in the corner. Everything was weird. The senses were more than what she was used to and she could even start to see the wireframe through her eyelid. It was really making it hard not to panic a bit.
”I…. This isn’t right…”
Coal was panicking quite a bit and her eye was bleeding some kind of aura out of it. It made silence’s ears twitch a bit and the shutmon frowned a bit. She’d reach down to rub the top of amber’s head before glancing back towards the other room. Mikemon and holly were studying from what she could see… but coal needed her da or sister.
”Eheh. It stays this way for a bit I’m afraid. Cresgarurumon is about two feet taller than this. But omegashutmon is the same height as my normal shutmon form.”
The shutmon leaned this way or that, inspecting her yellow furred daughter. Even going so much as picking her up to see how much she weighed. Chuckling she’d give the renamon a big hug; avoiding cracking any bones and then gestured to the other room.
”Lets get your father and have him help coal. She’s… probably best left alone for the moment. It’s good that that feels good and yeah! It was adorable!”
A barking laugh and the shutmon pulled her daughter into the next room… She’d stare at mikemon for a moment before reaching over to rub at the top of his head while leaning down to whisper in his ear.
”Go ahead and help coal. I’ll help holly and amber. She’s not doing too well in there.”

'Let your father help Coal'.
That... that, was probably for the best. Amber couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern, seeing her sister sit off into the corner, clutching over that eye. With a calm smile, the yellow fox would walk over, and rest a hand on her sister's shoulder. "You hear that? Dad's going to help you, Coal." Her tails flicked behind her. "Take a breath, alright? Your sister will be back in a bit to keep an eye on you."
With that, the fox would pull back, and blush a bit on the Shutmon's comment. Seriously, she was still going to be tiny and adorable to the Shutmon? "Hmph... well, when I'm ultimate, maybe I'll be just as big as you! Heck, maybe you'll be 'dad-sized' to me!" She jested, and would follow the wolf out...
... As Mikemon would give a nod to the Shutmon and would slip right back in. And yes, this time, Coal looked to be completely out of it. Hugging herself in the corner, a dark aura bleeding out of her eye - her panic was just making it worse! The doctor, however, didn't add to the panic, simply giving a calm smile.
He sat down in front of her, set down a case, and opened it. Inside, she would see rose-tinted glasses, a larger pair of goggles, and a dark, black sleeping mask.
"Listen carefully, hun." He'd start with the glasses: "These are for around the house, and when you're not doing anything active." The goggles: "These are for practice, and, eventually, missions... and..."
The mask. "This is for when you're sleeping."
Three simple things in one case, and another case with spares of the same. "Try each of them on for me, alright?"

Coal whined a little bit, looking up at her sister as she felt the pain of whatever this eye was doing. It hurt a lot and she was nearly in tears; she’d try to nod and winced slightly as she felt that aura bleed out a little more. She didn’t want to accidentally hurt anyone so she turned away.
”A...all right…”
Coal wasn’t feeling good, ever since the goggles came off well. It’d just get worse if she didn’t have a clue how to control it. She tried to breath but she just felt the air catch in her throat.
Silence smiled softly to amber and rubbed at the top of her head. If at ultimate size amber was that big well… she’d need some training! With a wolfish smile she’d consider something. Even going so far as to motion above her.
”Well… if you’re that big and at ultimate i’ll have to train you to use your body right. Something that big with that much reach would be… very interesting to work with.”
Silence winked at amber and took a seat on the couch; she’d check where they were on the notecards before frowning. They were at a part she didn’t know as well but that didn’t stop her from looking over the notes.
”All right amber… pick three cards for holly here so she can explain to you about some stuff. I think I know what you can do to help your big sis with me~”
”Oh fiddlesticks…”
Coal shivered a bit and put a hand over her eye, wincing as she felt her da enter the room. She could feel him acutely, see him and see right through him. His wireframe, his data, even the beating core. It was a faint signal almost. She stared at each thing that he showed her. The rose tinted glasses she couldn’t see through in the same sort of way she was having a problem with, the larger pair of goggles were the same. The mask was just… a void. Nothing. No wireframe beyond it.
She felt her hands twitch a bit and she’d reach for the glasses; adjusting them on her nose and exhaling slowly as she didn’t feel the pain of whatever her eye was doing so acutely.
”They… work. Not… not green anymore. Just… regular da. Regular room.”
She’d look around but the moment she looked in her peripherals there was a little flare and she’d grunt. The aura slipping out again. Making her close her eye on reflex.
”Head… turning. A lot of head turning with these.”
She’d mumble a bit and take the goggles. Staring at them before putting them on. They were cool, calm and against her fur they didn’t hurt. The strap felt good against her fur. It was slick but just the right material where if she needed to release them she could.
”M-missions? Li… Like the ones Ma goes on? H-holly? S-syre? I don’t… I don’t know if I can go on those da…”
The black-renamon-x shuddered a bit as she felt her aura even out. These goggles felt the best so far. She’d reach for the blindfold and hesitate before trying it on after removing her goggles. It was dark. She didn’t see anything and the renamon leaned back, looking as though she could actually breathe. She’d rub at her cheeks and exhaled slowly.
”The… moment I digivolved I felt something. Something… something that isn’t you. Isn’t ma. Isn’t big sis amber and big sis holly… I-I… don’t know what it is da. But I couldn’t see it. Just feel it. T-then my aura started bleeding out of my eye and and...”
She felt her face get wet and she'd lurch forward to pull her da in a hug. She didn't know what it was and for a rookie there was a surprising amount of force for what was a timid little renamon-x!

Indeed, Coal seeing all of that new information at once would be quite overwhelming, and with the eye always 'on', it wasn't as if merely closing her eyelid would be enough to filter all of the data! Left uncontested, she'd see everyone as a floating wireframe, a Digital 'skeleton' walking around... which wouldn't be wholly problematic, if her other eye was letting her see the same thing.
But those two different images bleeding together? That was what was causing the discomfort! Coal was eager for any sort of relief, and thankfully, both the glasses and the goggles seemed to suit her needs. She seemed to like the goggles in particular, the doctor nodding as Coal seemed to be able to flick her eyes more easily to the sides.
"I want you to get used to using both of them. The glasses might be a bit more difficult, but there's some value in slowly getting used to what your eye does naturally... even if its just from the corner of your vision. There's one thing you haven't tried yet, actually. As for the missions, well, sure, you're not ready for them. Yet." As the mask was set away, but before Coal would reach back for the goggles or glasses, he had one more suggestion:
"Close your right eye. Just try seeing with your left, by itself. You'll still see green, it'll still be bright - but it won't hurt as much."
As she'd try that, the cat would listen to what Coal had to say. She... 'felt something'? The feline flicked her tail, as he was brought close into a hug. He'd slowly bring his arms around her, patting Coal on her back.
"There, there... Digimon get nervous about what they can evolve into all the time, hun. If you do become something like 'that', just know that we all know its still you! Our sweet, shy Renamon who wouldn't hurt a fly... heh..." And now it was time for Amber to help her big sister with studying!
The yellow Renamon didn't think much of it, simply giving a smile and eagerly reaching down for that pile of index cards. She looked through them with an eager grin... one that slowly faded as the fox blinked over them.
... "Um..." Were these a bit beyond what she could understand? She tilted her head, confused at what she was looking at, and picked three cards seemingly at random. They were put on the table, and the fox gave a nervous chuckle.
"Eheh... I, um, know the letters and the sounds... but not anything about what these words mean." Of course not - they were barely two weeks old, and these were somewhat complex medical and technical terms! "Like, I get the idea a little bit, but... um..."

Coal wasn’t sure how to deal with everything that she was seeing, the wireframes and information was much more than what she was used to. Sure the eyelid served as a small filter but that was it. It was a lot stronger than her in training or fresh forms. She honestly wished that both eyes were this or the other. It would make things so much simpler.
But it wasn’t easy was it? She’d rub at her face and she’d exhale slowly as she felt the relief from the goggles once more. She’d have to get used to her glasses and the goggles and even the facemask when she was sleeping.
”One thing? What thing are you talking about Da?”
Coal tilted her head and blinked slowly; she wasn’t ready for missions yet? That was implying that she would even go out and do that sort of thing! She’d bite her lower lip and shake her head.
”I don’t… Missions like the stuff ma or sis did? I overheard them talking about stuff a few days ago and it seemed… scary…”
Hearing his suggestion the renamon-x did exactly that; it was strange. Everything was green and there was no contending what-so-ever. She’d frown slowly and consider something for a moment. What all could this eye do? If it was painfully on at all times wouldn’t this make it an issue if it could do more than this?
”well it’s just I can’t… help but wonder or feel what it is you know?... and… eheh…”
She’d hug him tightly, it was kinda getting hard to keep the goggles on since she was still crying so she’d have to adjust them to let the tears flow out a bit. It felt a lot better thanks to these goggles.
”I don’t think I have it in me to hurt anything… Is… there anyway to see what I can evolve into? Or is… that something we shouldn’t fuff with?”
Silence shifted in her seat, watching the other quietly. Most of those words were beyond her understanding, sure. But thankfully the definitions were right there so that they would be broken down in a way. But maybe not in a sense that the other would explain.
”That’s all right, I don’t understand most of this stuff either. In fact holly doesn’t and she’s the one that has to study them!”
”H-hey now!”
Silence snickered a bit and leaned back in her seat; rubbing at the top of amber’s head. She had faith in her daughters and had faith in holly. She knew that they could work on this together quite well.
”Mmm… Maybe I can go grab you those books now that you have fingers…”
Silence mumbled to herself and stood up, she’d pad into the other room waving for amber and holly to wait for her. About five or so minutes later she’d come back out; like for coal they had decided to get amber something once she had hands. She’d pass her a few things; a few drawing pads… a coloring tutorial book and what looked to be one of those 64 packs of colored pencils with some erasers and straight black pencils to do lines…. There was even a pen pack!
”Picked these up yesterday, you have no idea how hard it was to hide it from you. As much as I want you to help with holly… where she’s at might be a little much for you to just get going on it. At least without her talking to you about stuff then I guess.”
Silence smiled warmly and sat back down next to her youngest daughter, giving them a big one armed hug!

"Oh, missions are scary. But they're important things that the two... well, the three of them do, anyway. Syre has a mission license as well." The feline gave a small nod, understanding Coal's nervousness. "Let's not worry about the missions for now. But you will practice sparring. You don't need to be a fighter, but you have to know how to defend yourself. You, as well as Amber."
He'd smile, give her a pat on the back, and let her look just through that one eye for the moment. This time, Coal didn't seem as pained by it, even if she was still somewhat uncomfortable. Soon, the goggles came back on, and the fox was hugging right around him again!
To that, the feline hugged her back, and sighed. "There, there... this is why you should try using the glasses more. You're liable to fog them up inside - and it'll let your eyes breathe a bit easier, too." She couldn't just wear the goggles all of the time, unfortunately.
As for her next question? "Its better you don't obsess over it, Coal. Regardless of what you become, remember that you're still you. Now." He'd look up, and rest a knuckle under Coal's chin.
"Are you ready to get out of your room, for a little bit?" "Hehe! Don't worry, sis, I'm sure you'll get this stuff down... even if I don't..."
Silence's joke fell on half-deaf ears at that because, hoo boy, Amber didn't understand it at all! She tried asking Holly a few questions on the cards to begin with, but it soon devolved into Amber sitting down next to Holly, both of them looking over the handwritten notes together. Rather than directly asking questions and giving answers, it was more of a case of one explaining what things were to the other.
Heck, if they couldn't properly study, maybe Holly could get another perspective by trying to teach Amber about this? As little as she could follow along, anyway! A good five or ten minutes later, Amber's ear would flick, seeing Silence walk back into the room.
... Pens. Lots of coloring pencils. Drawing pencils. Drawing pads. A coloring book. Once she realized what Silence was handing to her, Amber's eyes lit up, and she took a blank pad in her hands... and wrapped her arms around the Shutmon in a giant hug!
"Thankyouthankyou thank you!" She smiled, quickly going off into a tangent! "I mean, I liked drawing with you more than anything, but whatever I pictured was just... muddled, you know! Those stubby little arms could barely handle those crayons, and they were waxy and imprecise and kept breaking but... mmm..."
Her expression just brightened up. Something so simple, meant so much to her!

”w-what are they like…? A-about?”
Coal shifted a bit; not sure if she wanted t o know more but her curiosity got the better of her. She’d lean forward as though begging to know; her head tilting to this way or that. Then came something she felt her face start to turn red over. Sparring? Practice that? She needed to know how to defend herself? She’d glance out towards where amber and them were… before gulping.
”I think amber will be a good fighter. Like… better than I’ll be sure but… I won’t lie that I’m a little nervous hearing that da...”
Coal exhaled slowly as she could see so many things. So much. She could feel the bright auras and cores of the others in the room acutely. Holly’s fast spinning core, her ma’s blazingly bright core and ambers gentle and sweet core; one that was very similar to her own with it’s youth. She’d shift a bit and the fox did what she was told; putting on the glasses though that’d mean she’d have to turn her head some more.
”Goggles for practice and missions eventually right right… Ah... Da why is ma’s core so bright? I can see it through the frames of the wall.”
Holly’s core was getting there in terms of brightness but there was also something weird around her core too. Something she didn’t fully understand. Something that her da had; was it something she had? She’d look down but couldn’t quite see her own.
”O-kay”
She’d stammer as she was told not to obsess over it; she was who she was regardless of the form she took. Feeling those knuckles under her chin she’d stare at her da for a moment before slowly nodding.
”Y-yeah... ”
The fox shifted a bit and gave her dad one last very big and tight hug. Almost as though she was thanking and begging him not to make her go out at the same time. But she’d nervously stand up, fidgeting and stepping towards the door. But she didn’t have the same amount of practice as amber did and ended up faceplanting with a grunt on the floor.
”AH! M-my balance seems to be a bit off...”
”It just takes a bit… here let me show you!”
Holly would go on about explaining stuff to her sister, doing a fairly good job at it. The notecards were largely forgotten in what they actually should have been. Holly grinning and explaining every little word, every little thing. She didn’t mind; sure it was a case of explaining things but she didn’t mind! It was helpful!
A new perspective and having all the information there made holly breeze through a lot of the cards. She’d even offer to explain the more complex things if amber really wanted!
Silence smiled down at amber as she passed each thing to her and upon getting a hug the shutmon chuckled. She didn’t stop there, she’d return the hug by picking up her daughter in a big bear hug and gave the top of her head a kiss before setting them back down.
”I thought to myself that since you liked to color and use the crayons that you might enjoy these when you got hands. I can’t wait to see what you create and maybe once things calm down I can show you my journals. If you need more stuff too don’t hesitate to ask!”

"Oh, they can be about a lot of things, fighting or not! Whenever someone needs a hand with something a bit more substantial than they can handle, they can make a request with the local mission's guild. Though, it tends to be bigger or 'city funded' jobs, because they can get a bit expensive..."
The feline chuckled, not exactly sure if he was explaining it the best way to Coal. Sure, Amber might pick up fighting better - not having to second guess her eyes gave her a good head start - but the doctor wasn't going to let her daughter put herself down so easily! "Now, now, Coal. Don't think about what you can't do. Think about what you can, or what you want to do. You'll have a lot more fun trying things out if you think that way."
He encouraged her, of course!
For the few moments that Coal had the glasses off, she would indeed be able to see both Silence and Holly, the differences in their cores. "Mom's core is quite bright... it just means that she has more data in it than most." He decided to give the more objective answer, without exactly explaining what that entailed. Because if he did, they'd be here for the better part of the day!
Slowly, Coal would pull away, stand up, stagger to the door... and end up falling, almost flat on her face! Wincing, the cat would move to help Coal up, giving a small smile and a sigh. "Take your time, alright? Just after evolving, this happens sometimes... just take a deep breath, and try again." And show her, Holly would!
Amber still wasn't entirely sure on everything that Holly was explaining. Data cycles? Vaccines? Flow? All of these concepts were both interesting and foreign to Amber, and it resulted in a lot of questions on things that Amber didn't have even the prerequisite of understanding. Despite that, however, Holly did a good enough job that the Renamon-X sorta, almost understood what was going on.
And really, that was the best that they could have hoped for! But, soon enough, Amber's attention was distracted by the drawing supplies, and Silence's bear hug! Amber's own arms wrapped right around Silence's shoulders, nuzzling right up to that muzzle before she was set on down.
So much to sketch, so much to draw! She beamed, sitting right back down next to Holly, a nod given to the Shutmon. "Of course!" Surprisingly, though? She didn't dive right into drawing! Polite as she was, she set the tools on the end table, and moved right back next to the MeiCrackmon, diligently helping her sister with her studies:
"Right... and, we were talking about cores, I think? Why does it matter if a Virus node is near a 'Data' point?"
... Amber didn't know what either of those things were.

”Oh… th-that makes sense. Sort of like… uhm… Holly’s book about this dragon adventurer that took up… missions and quests that did… various things. Like rescuing a kobold princess or uh… well talking a tyrant down from burning down some village…”
Coal seemed to understand and even seemed to share holly’s love for reading. Maybe it came with the turf of being somewhat lazy or relaxed? She’d shift a bit in her seat and slowly nodded her head. Don’t think of what she can’t do? Think of what she can or wanted to do? Well she….
”I ah… don’t know what I can do or what I want to do da.”
She admitted quite frankly and sighed a bit; she tried not to stare at the cores through the walls and simply just after a bit put the glasses back on. Though they’d take a tumble when she faceplanted on the ground. She’d groan a bit and rub at her head; thankful for her da being there to help her up.
”L-legs are weird uhm…”
Coal would teeter a bit and use her arms to sort of stabilize herself before taking a few tentative steps. Though rather than slip and faceplant immediately she’d slip a little bit this way or that before getting to the door. Leaning on it for support; seems like she didn’t quite have the hang of it just yet.
”Balance is… weird with the tails…”
Holly would go through what she could, making the words make sense or at least try to explain the concepts of each. Ultimately she felt like she did a good job at it and couldn’t help but grin at seeing silence pick up her little sister in that hug.
”That’s my little light~”
Silence smiled a bit and took a seat in her own chair, idly spinning her pencil in her hand before getting started. A memory that she could craft and push later. A journal, a new page and a new chapter. Chapter 7: page 1… It’d be something simple of holly and amber talking over notecards. It was a soft image; one that held a lot of love…
”Now see, virus basically has the upper hand when it comes to anything ‘data’ based. Given that it’s like a predator to it. So if a virus node was near a data point it’d encroach on the territory and muck it up. A virus node kinda looks like this- while a data point looks like this-”
While holly didn’t have the same level of expertise or passion in her drawings; they were quite easy to make sense of thankfully. Though she was a little off in her explanation and drawings they got the basic point across!
”It’s kinda like when you get sick I guess; a data point doesn’t want a virus node too close. It’d muck it up!”

"Hm? You're already reading that level of stuff?" Mikemon smiled, proud of what Coal had already figured out! "I mean, do you like those kinds of books? I wouldn't mind getting you a few of your own, so you don't have to always borrow them from your sister!"
Well, maybe those books would end up being hand-me-downs from Holly anyway! Regardless, the feline wouldn't press too hard for now, simply encouraging Coal as best he could. "No-one said you have to figure out what you want to be yet, Coal. I know you're around a lot of successful 'mons, but you can't let that discourage you. Not this early!" Helping Coal back up, though, the doctor realized that he had to try and get this 'balance' problem fixed.
Legs were weird. And she was having trouble using her tails.
"Well, when you're just letting them drag down like that, sure. You're gonna have them end up swinging up in front of you, and throw off your balance." He'd help steady her, and would give his advice: "Don't think of them as a hindrance. Rather, use them to help you get your balance. Sway them behind you, a little bit above the ground, and get a feel for where you should be standing on your feet." For a good while, Amber would just help Holly out with her studies! Starting at the beginning of chapter 1, the fox would listen intently as to what her sister had to say.
The aspiring doctor explained with words, and explained with pictures, easily catching Amber's interest. "So Virus beats Data... and Data beats..." She'd look at those example drawings, marveling at how something so small defined what they were. It would go on like that for maybe an hour or so...
... When Mikemon, likely with Coal following, would make their way out to the living area. The feline would smile, gently nuzzling up to Silence's leg as he passed by. "Well... that one definitely likes her room, that's for sure..."
He kept his voice just low enough that Coal wouldn't pick up on it. Proud as they were, maybe it wouldn't be good for Coal to stay cooped up inside, or at least in her room, all day?
