The gift of the Fatebreaker had never been something that the bearer of it would ever refer to as a gift. No, she had always viewed it as a curse. A burden with which the very world she lived in sought to use to torment her endlessly, to endlessly spur her into action just to make the visions go away.
Not this time, though. The Meicrackmon rushing home, while prompted by a vision, had been running for an entirely different reason. The contents of the vision weren't even anything you could, or should consider bad, just cryptic. Devoid of any meaning outside of what there was to be seen within.
And if that vision were correct, it meant that...she'd sincerely have to talk this over with Hasenya for a number of reasons. She raced up the stairs in the complex that her place was held in, before she finally made it to the door. She stopped, and thought for a few moments. Was Hasenya even home right now?
...How would she even react to what this news actually -was?-
One way to find out. Knock knock. "Hey, you home?"

Of course she was home, it was really either this or out bothering Mae. Or perhaps dragged out of her room by the rest of KIZNA to do something other than read and research. Research what exactly? Perhaps it would be a story told another time, for now the Renamon would find herself disturbed by a knock at her door, looking up from her book at the source of the noise. She snapped it shut without looking back down and then set the book aside, rising up from her seat and stretching a bit. Hasenya would know that voice anywhere.
"Yeah, come in!"
She spent that incredibly brief moment between then and Mae opening the door to try and make herself look.. At least a little more presentable. Patting down some places where her pink fur felt like sticking up and making sure it wasn't all just stick in her face or eyes. Was it good enough? It probably was to begin with, but leave it to Hasenya to overthink it anyway.

...Mae was not sure why she had expected the opposite from Hasenya, but she was pleasantly surprised as well as relieved that such was not the case. Upon being told she could come in, Mae would turn the knob of the door and opened it, stepping inside before she shut the door.
Okay, how did she want to start this off? Mae thought for all of two seconds before she walked over to Hasenya, dedigivolving into the form of Meicoomon midway, and tried pulling the Renamon into a quick hug. There was nothing particularly motivating that. She just felt like hugging her fox.
If Hasenya allowed that, she'd pull back after a moment. "So...Um. I have some news. I don't know if it's good or bad but it's...vision-related and might have to do with us." Mae explained. Hastily, and kind of stutter-y, but she at least made the effort to explain. How would Hasenya react?

Of course she would allow it. What dark timeline would this have to be for Hasenya to refuse a hug from her favorite cat? The Renamon leaned slightly into the hug and pulled Mae against her lightly, then tightening her grip some. She hadn't even noticed how tense she was until she relaxed, letting out a relieved sigh and just enjoying that brief moment before Mae pulled back. "You alright?" She'd ask softly. It wasn't that she found the random affection to be odd coming from Mae, she was just worried as usual. Always worrying.
"Alright, well.. Good or bad you can tell me anything if you think it's important."

"I mean, physically? I'm fine. I didn't get maimed or anything again, so nothing to worry about on that front." That was probably already worrying. "But it's...not exactly a problem that's just exclusive to me, I guess?" At least she had the proverbial floor to speak here.
So, how to start? "I...Um. I had a vision. It might be important." Retreading words here. Don't do that. Goddamn it. FOCUS. FOCUS. "It didn't have you, me, or anybody we might know, but...it had two Digimon that...kind of felt like us? Half you and half me, I guess...?" Repeating that out loud made Mae wonder exactly -what- this duo she saw even was.
"It was odd. They weren't even doing anything much, and nothing seemed to happen to them. It was just a dog and a wisp-like digimon walking a road. I thought telling you might...help me make sense of it? I don't know why I had to see something like that...Or what it could even mean, either. Plus you're the one person I can just...tell these things to, too."
Odd stuff.

"What.. does that even mean?" Hasenya seemed utterly perplexed by this description. She furrowed her brow in thought, turning it over in her head a few times and coming up with absolutely nothing. "I could ask papa.. Maybe he'd know what that even means? I just- I can't wrap my head around it." There were certain implications she hadn't missed, but she didn't have enough information nor general knowledge of the topic to say anything for certain. An assumption like that would be pretty ridiculous to make with any sort of conviction at this point.
"You wanna look for them, then? I've got time so it'd be up to you when you wanna.. I dunno. Go on a whacky scavenger hunt for some random Digimon." The Renamon shrugged, at least she seemed to take it well? If only because she didn't understand.

"I...don't know. Like I said, I'm...It's weird." She legitimately could not phrase this any better than she was already trying to. "I mean like...in a very literal sense. Half me and half you. Like...kids of some sort?" That was the first instance of Mae dropping the k word.
No, not kill. Kids. "...Maybe one of your dads would know a bit more about it, it seems like something that'd happen to them if they had what I had." There was absolutely no way in any circle of hell that Mae was going to be the one to tell Hikaru or Owen 'hey, I think I might have spawned not one, but two Digimon with your daughter!', that would just be...all kinds of awkward and mandate a shotgun wedding.
Which, if Owen's background of being former military was to be believed (it absolutely was), was absolutely possible. "We could go look for them. I have a general idea of where they might be or be near...It looked like they were heading somewhere in the Timberlands. I could figure out where they're going to be, too, if I look into the future as Rasielmon...But...Are you absolutely sure you'd want to go searching for them? I'm fine with it, if only because I want to figure this out, but...What about you? What do you think?"

"..Okay, so I wasn't the only one thinking kids. Cool." Hasenya shook her head, yet she still wouldn't settle on that as an answer. Not enough was known and she didn't need the excuse to freak out right now. Right now she had to stay calm. How would her parents even react to that? She didn't imagine anything particularly terrible, just.. It would definitely be a lot to deal with. Whether it were a positive or negative reaction. She could feel her limited social battery draining just thinking about it.
"I think I wanna get some answers before we go making any assumptions. Timberlands aren't too terribly far and if those two are just rookie's still then they haven't gotten far." A bold statement, given she still had yet to digivolve again herself. She knew she had it in her she just.. needed the push.

"...I got that impression the moment I actually...saw them in the vision." Mae admitted. By now she had gone to take a seat at the couch, fidgeting all the while. It was...legitimately not something she had been expecting to be talking to Hasenya for a while. Not now, that much was certain. "I want answers too. More than anything right now, really. And it's really just a matter of flying down and...Finding them."
They seemed to be entirely unique, too. It really should not be difficult... "So...Should we just...steel our nerves and get going or..." A pause. There was really nothing Mae could figure out on how to effectively approach this matter. Plus, Hasenya was the book person here, right? She probably read something about this. "...Nnngh, this is hard..."

Hasenya let out a deep sigh and took a seat next to Mae. Was she the calmer one here? It certainly seemed like it- It felt.. odd. "We don't have to go right now. Like I said, I can make the time whenever you feel you're ready." She gave the cat a reassuring pat. "If you need time to better prepare then that's absolutely fine. The idea that we could be parents is.. very jarring. It makes sense if you need a minute."
She definitely was the book person here, though she could think of no better way to approach this then by simply nipping it at the bud. "We'll find them and then.. Get another opinion? Someone who's already had kids and would be able to maybe help us know for sure. If they really share our data then maybe there's a way to check that doesn't involve anything drastic."

Hasenya was absolutely being the calmer one right now, considering this was a pretty much proverbial tidal wave of revelations Mae's ability had decided to throw upon her at once. ...That plus the crippling possibility that somehow, someway, she was a mom now must had been getting to her. A little more than it should.
"I-is it alright if I need two or three, then?" Because goddamn it, she needed that. The thought of asking someone who's already had kids did cross her mind, but...who would they go to? "Like your dads? Or...uh..." A lot of possibilities. Mizu from the Great Moving Library, Dr. Mikemon...
Wow, Mae didn't know a lot of people. "...Yeah, when we go find them, then we go...get some opinion. I don't...I'm going to be honest, I don't know how any of this is going to go..." There were a lot of ways that Mae meant that to come across. How trying to hunt kids down would go, how getting another person's opinion would go...heck, even how they'd figure out if the kids were...well, theirs.
Needless to say, the cat had her doubts.

Hasenya laughed a bit awkwardly, but nodded her head. "A minute was metaphorical, we have more time than that. But yeah, I was thinking my dad's, even if it meant admitting to.. Well, being in a relationship I guess. It'd have to happen eventually anyway." The Renamon tensed up slightly, though did her best to hide how the idea made her feel truly. It stressed her out to no great end, even if things turned out okay- even as likely they were to turn out okay, it would still be far too embarrassing. And right now the distraction from finding those kids wasn't needed.
"The scents are probably similar. I'll just turn into Youkomon and sniff them out, maybe? That's assuming you can direct us to a specific place they were once at. We can find out if they're really ours when we actually find them."
