As amusing as Faustein had found Ravenna's outfit to be, her defensive reaction proved to be even more hilarious, if that was possible. As a result, he had found that he could no longer keep himself from bursting out into the impending raucous, uncouth laughter. So, that was exactly what had transpired in the end, that is him succumbing to a spell of uproarious, unbridled laughter which was actually so loud that it echoed off the walls of the buildings all around them. It certainly did take him a while to calm down from this fit of mirth, but in the end, he was able to exert his iron will once more to bring himself back under his usual, tightly regulated control. After that, he straightened up again to his full 5' 7" height and cleared his throat before remarking with his face being its usual impassive self again "Suzamon, eh? I see, that is very enlightening indeed. Then again, my research into spirit wielders indicates that the Digital World always assigns spirits to those human wielders who have the most apropos affinity towards said spirits. Given that, the sight of you in that raiment does pose some rather...amusing... albeit curious implication for you, indeed."Then, he had paused for a moment while collecting his thoughts and examining her unabashedly, though it was evident that his was more that of a scientist studying a specimen under a microscope than that of some queer pervert who was face to face with their wildest dream made reality. "That said, your outfit is strangely similar to those in the ancient memory of mine from a birthday party in Vegas, specifically, the dancer girls. How very surreal a notion, but then would that mean that this design is derived from the data salient to those outfits?"He had said with his usual smug smirk now playing upon his thin, firm lips before turning his attention to the outfit she had been showing to him "It is quite impressive, yes. Now that explains that remarkable modicum of agility that you displayed in your pursuit of the perceived enemy."As the conversation moved beyond that, Faustein had heard Ravenna appreciating the marvelous design of the cutting-edge bionic limb display and nodded while remarking "Ah, so you know how to appreciate the wonders of technology as well, eh? It would seem we are kindred spirits, then. This is a most fortuitous revelation, to be sure."At that point, it had seemed like things were beginning to escalate once more as Faustein saw how Ravenna's crow minions had crashed into and then be destroyed by an exploding mannequin. As if things were not troublesome already, immediately afterward some manner of digimon resembling a clown or rather, a jester, as it called itself appeared on the scene and began to engage Ravenna and then himself in banter. From what transpired during the conversation, it was apparent that the jester digimon and Ravenna had some history together. Then, as he listened silently further, the jester digimon invited them to listen to his narrative about how he had gotten to this present situation, while being in an impromptu theater setting, complete with multiple rows of folding chairs and even a stage with curtains which could rival the best of Shakespearean theater. Needless to say, due to her history with the digimon, Ravenna did not seem to believe it, but nevertheless, she relented at last and took a seat. Therefore, Faustein followed suit, after which the two bore witness to a rather twisted shadow puppet play with an equally if not more disturbing, but also alarmingly intriguing narration. So, this digimon was not the root cause of this fiasco of an incomprehensible situation? How intriguing, this is piquing my curiosity more and more with every passing moment.Faustein mused silently as he was deeply mired in his reverie by now, but before too long, he was sharply pulled out of it by Ravenna asking him whether their current situation and the jester digimon's tale made any sense to him. Apparently, if the claims of the jest digimon were to be believed, it was doing all of the terrorizing the city and sowing mass destruction shenanigans simply so it could have Ravenna be the leading lady in its demented plays once more. So, first, as he was curious about the identity of the digimon and wanted to find out the details about it, he aimed his digivice bearing bionic left arm at it and had it analyze the data therein. It took a while, but finally it was finished and returned the results "Piedmon, eh? Mega level. Wizard/Demon Man type. Virus attribute. Nightmare Soldiers family. Special Attacks: Trump Sword and Clown Trick. I see, quite the unique specimen, this one is indeed."He mused aloud while studying the data displayed on his digivice screen about the Piedmon and then turned to Ravenna while remarking "Well, the data it has presented to us certainly does seem to be in line with the generic behavior of other specimens of its kind. That said, we have no means of cross-examining said data currently. So, for now, perhaps it would be more prudent to "hedge our bets" as the saying goes among the average populace."Then, he turned to the Piedmon and remarked with a smirk "Oh? You presume to lump one such as myself in with the general rabble of "randy fanboys of the 18-45 demographic", eh? Well, you are certainly right on one count, that being my age at 29 years old as it is certainly between those extremes. However, on the second, you have erred most grievously. You see, a man such as myself is far too busy with my eternal quest for ever higher zeniths of knowledge to be concerned with something as useless and plebeian as sex drive."He said with his smug smirk matching that the Piedmon now had as it listened to his remarks. Then, he paused to collect his thoughts before continuing "However...the idea of our friend Ravenna here appearing in an outfit that is just as if not more curious and unique than the one she had donned earlier is far too amusing a prospect to miss seeing, especially on the great stage. So, we have ourselves an accord on this matter. You shall have me in attendance with the three...headshots, did you call them?" However, it seemed that Ravenna was not so eager to acquiesce to the Piedmon's suggestion to star in its play, so it changed tactics on a dime and instead of spewing out more words, it manifested an explosive of absolutely titanic proportions. Granted, it had a rather comical appearance, but nevertheless, it was clearly a threat as Faustein could see from the swiftly depleting fuse on it. Luckily, after having one of his two digimon partners, aka " Taser" the " Kokuwamon" analyze the explosive, he found a suspicious looking panel on its side, one that was clearly marked with the label " CONTROL PANEL" in bright bold red lettering. He turned to Ravenna and asked once he had seen this "Well, it would seem that our friend Piedmon has given us a potential way out of this conundrum. Shall my two digimon and I defuse it or do you wish to do the honors for us?"Then, he fell silent and waited for her response, wondering what she would say and what sort of reaction she would have to his calm and curiously impassive expression, given the potentially life threatening situation they were both in currently. It was so embarrassing for Ravenna that Faust saw her in her spirit form. The tech wizard couldn't keep himself from laughing out loud at the sight of her. Ravenna's brow scrunches up as her face starts to turn red with anger in addition to blushing.
"You don't have to laugh! It's just an excessive amount of leg flesh showing."
Faust remarks how her outfit reminds him of a Vegas style dancer girls outfit. This only instigates the crow girl further. If they were not in a doomsday situation, Raye might have to chase him down and give him a hard punch on his arm. Not the cybernetic one, that would sting her hand.
"Vegas, dancer girls?! Well, I can't say you don't have a point. It's a very extravagant outfit with lots of feathers. I'm not a fan of this stupid leggy showgirl look. Am I a Digimon, or Rockette?"
At least Faust was coming off as interested in Ravenna's outfit rather than acting all googly-eyed like most boys Ravenna knows. The Psychic Spirit User talks about Faust's bionic limb, and the latter is delighted that they share an interest in technology.
"You are so well educated. Maybe we can hang out later and talk about things."
There was no denying how intriguing this man is to Raye. Their discussion is interrupted when the crows detect the explosion, and Piedmon reveals himself as the one destroying the city. Faust scans the bizarre Mega level Digimon and learns information about them. Piedmon acts creeped out to be scanned, then curious at how much information was revealed.
"What in the name of Hedy Lamarr?! That is all accurate. Ooh, can that thing tell me my star power?"
When Piedmon remarks that Ravenna is a suitable candidate to market towards randy fanboys of the 18-45 demographic, Faust takes exception given his age falls under that target demographic. The tech genius goes on to explain how he is far too busy with higher pursuits to get bogged down with libido.
"Oh? Well, that's just one potential viewer. There are swarms of lonely young men, hormones raging. You see, not only am I a fantastic actor, slash director, slash writer," *Cough cough* "I am also brilliant at predicting what will send libidos into overdrive. You know those movies with the vampires, and the horny teenagers, and all the teeney bopper girls are losing their minds over a pale dude with too much hair gel? Who do you think held up legendary Japanese baseball player Ichiro for money to fund the movie?"
"Not a bit of that is true, is it?" "Of course! I also cowrote Fifty Shades of May." "Stop talking like a laugh track is going to play. You are a worse clown than Krusty!" "I am not a clown, vile wench!" "Right, well we know what your berserk button is." "Ya, well women have tons of berserk buttons. I could make you cheesed off at the drop of a hat." "Oh, so now you are going to get sexist?!"
After Ravenna and Piedmon bicker like children for some time, the jester unleashes a live explosive on the two humans. Faust's partner Taser the Kokuwamon analyzes the explosive, and detects a clearly labeled control panel. Faust asks if his partners should defuse it or if Raye would rather do the honors. "Go right ahead." It wouldn't be too difficult to deactivate the bomb. Upon accessing the control panel, one has to navigate a constantly moving dot through a maze without touching any walls. Fortunately, the explosion is delayed momentarily upon logging in.
As Piedmon watches from the shadows snickering, Ravenna notices strange lights flashing in the sky. A broken image begins to form. She can see the shape of part of a pair of glasses. *Static...R- Ravenna... static* "Shirou? Is that you?" The picture starts to become more clear, but both the image appearing in the sky and the voice are quite distorted.
"Ravenna, you need to reactivate the- *static* ...get the... Piedmon to help- *static*" "Shirou, I can't understand you! What do you want me to do?" Piedmon comes out of hiding and glides over to Ravenna's side, looking wide eyed up at the screen. "Who the hell is that?" Ravenna quickly looks over then jumps back. "What are you doing, you creepy joker?! Shirou, how do we fix the update?!"
"You need to reactivate the inverter. It's the only way to- woo-ooo-woo-ooo *ring* *static*" "It sounds like dial up." "What is dial up?" "Really? Kids today, mon. No respect for anything before their time. Oh, such a tragedy!" Piedmon waves a rose around his face dramatically. "Piedmon, the Digital world needs you help. You need to *static* the Digital World."
Piedmon pulls out a teeny notepad and a comically oversized pencil. "Destroy, Digital, World. Got it." A series of beeps starts to play. "That sounds like morse code! Hey Faust, can you or one of your partners translate morse code?" If they are able to decipher the beeps, they would receive information about the inverter and its location. __________

Faustein had been highly amused as he watched Ravenna and the Piedmon bicker like a couple of petulant children, but simply had remained silent as he waited for them to calm down. In the interim, the Piedmon had manifested a giant live explosive and challenged them to defuse it before it could detonate and destroy everything around the area. So, Faustein had instructed one of his two partners " Taser" the " Kokuwamon" to analyze and eventually found the control panel. So, when Faustein had asked Ravenna whether she wanted to defuse it or whether she would like him to do it instead, she had delegated the taks to him. So, he nodded and acknowledged his directive "Very well, then."With that, he made made his way towards the towering bomb and then used his Anti-Grav Device to raise himself up till he was floating at about 10 ft in midair, which was approximately the height of the control panel's location on the bomb's surface. He had opened it only to find what seemed to be an absurdly simple security system governing the defusing mechanism for the bomb. In response, he turned to the Piedmon and with a quizzical look on his face, remarked "That is quite the absurdly facile security system you have installed in that behemoth of an explosive device. However, presumably, that is nothing more than a feint, with the actual security system hidden underneath it, given that it is the brainchild of a jester digimon such as yourself. So, which is it?" He asked the Piedmon, and was about to say more, but then, something had changed in the sky and a face with glasses had appeared, one that was apparently familiar to Ravenna, judging from how Faustein heard her call to said face by name. Then, the face with the glasses who was apparently called " Shirou" started to give instructions which caused the Piedmon to float over to Ravenna's side and then ask her who the owner of the face with glasses was, but Ravenna had simply been unnerved and revolted by the Piedmon instead. As they listened further, the group learned about some inverted which apparently had to be reactivated in order to save the Digital World, but before Shirou could say more, the connection gave a dial-up like ringing noise followed by static. Ravenna apparently did not know what that was which then led the Piedmon to lament the lack of the current generation's familiarity with ancient technology. "Dial-up, eh? Egads, now THAT is a term which has not been used for ages now. Still, for the sake of enlightening you, Ravenna, I shall elucidate on this subject. You see, dial-up is the process whereby a user can remotely access a computer system or service via a phone line connection. In the antediluvian times of the human world, dial-up used to be the most common way for everyone to access the Interwebs before the Digital Age had its advent and streamlined this protocol into its present form which is solely digital in its execution."Shortly after he had said that, a series of beeping noises which seemed to be Morse Code started to play, prompting Ravenna to ask him whether his partners could decipher Morse Code. Faustein fell silent for a few moments and pondered the issue Well, Taser and Lego always DO seem to emit these types of noises, so perhaps this method is a viable one. With that, he broke his silence and remarked with a nod "Well, it is uncertain as to how successful they will be, but it is definitely worth an attempt."Then, he instructed his first partner, aka " Taser" the " Kokuwamon", to decipher the Morse Code message. In response, the mechanical bug digimon beeped once before saying "Acknowledged. Commencing analysis of Morse Code encrypted message."Then, it began emitting a series of beeping noises of its own, though these were not Morse Code, of course, but rather just the indication that it was occupied with the analysis of some data given to it. So, Faustein decided to wait until Taser was finished with the analysis, and in the interim, he turned his attention back to the control panel on the explosive and began to defuse it by guiding the moving dot through the maze without touching any of the walls. Luckily for him, he had played these types of games as a child, so that experience certainly facilitated and expedited his efforts. After a few more minutes, he was finally finished with the maze, and in response, the control panel beeped once, then twice, and finally a third time. Then, interestingly enough, the panel with the maze game slid to the side, only to reveal an entangled mess of wires with different colors, some red, others yellow, others blue, others green, and yet others purple and the last few being black. Faustein sighed in exasperation and shook his head while remarking "How irksome, why is it that in these types of situations, my predictions and/or suspicions always turn out to be correct?" When Ravenna asked what dial-up is, Faust goes on to give a detailed explanation. The crow girl just stands there with a puzzled expression, as she gets confused.
"Wait, so the phone line connects to the computer system? Who has a phone line anymore? That was all before my time. My grandmother still can't figure out her wifi password."
Taser the Kokuwamon continues to examine the explosive. After navigating through the security checks, the bomb opens up and exposes several wires. Ravenna claps her hands together excitedly in a show of approval. Loud rumblings can be heard off in the distance. Some of the wires start to shoot off sparks.
"Where did you get that bomb anyways, Piedmon?" "I have a guy."
Shirou had tried to contact them, but the connection is too glitchy due to the update. He then started relaying a message in morse code. While it was all Greek to Ravenna, fortunately the mechanical bug Digimon is able to interpret the sound.
"Take the detonation device to the obelisk. Activate the inverter. Flip the switch. Good luck. I will help you as much as I can." "Well, alright. Sounds simple enough. I wonder what Shirou isn't telling us." "Ya, that sounds like a real shindig. Anyways, I'm going to return to pulling some pranks." "You think bombing the city is a prank? Don't you care about patching the update?!" "Why should I care?! This is like a paradise! The Prince of Chaos is back, and the Digital World is my stage!"
Ravenna knows that they can't fix the update with Piedmon scorching the area. As much as the play from before was an existential nightmare, She has to try and convince the fool to help.
"If you help us, I'll star in another one of your pathetic plays." Piedmon leans down and gives Ravenna a big hug. Raye just stands there wide eyed and surprised. "Oh, Ravenna! That is just grand! I was thinking maybe a tapdancing scene. I have to call Piddomon and get started on the costumes at once! What are your measurements?" "BWAHK!" Ravenna squawks in Piedmon's ear and brutalizes his eardrum.
The bomb begins to short-circuit. Suddenly the ground starts to shake. "You know, maybe this new Digital World is too chaotic, even more me. Maybe this unstable area is reacting to my explosive." "Good idea. We need a way to stabilize that bomb. Taser, do you think you could control the electric current?"
Solarmon comes rushing up pushing the wheelbarrow. "There you are! What's going on?" "I'm glad you are safe. We've almost got it figured out. The jokester here thought it would be a good idea to bomb the city for kicks!" "You are a real jerk, stupid clown!" "I am not a clown! You insult my dignity as a performer. Argh! Okay, Piedmon, deep breaths."
Beams of energy flash across the sky. They seem to point to one area. "Look, over there! I see the obelisk." A tall black and blue obelisk stretches into the barren sky. "Come on, let's go check it out." "That's quite a run. Do you think I can catch a ride?" "Why don't you get in the wheelbarrow, and I'll fly your sorry butt over. Faust, you and your partners can catch a ride to if you please."
Ravenna stretches her wings out and takes off into the sky, flying towards the obelisk. She reaches the structure, but there is a large security door blocking access. It wasn't a problem for Suzamon, as she has intangibility in this spirit form. Ravenna passes through the door like a phantom and unlocks the door from the other side. Inside the obelisk, there is a sphere carving in the wall, where it appears an object can be slotted. Above the slot is a lever that is in the middle position.
Once the group has reached the obelisk, they examine the construct. "So, we flip the lever? But which way do we flip it, up, or down?" "I don't know. Does it matter?" "Hold on, I can hear Shirou's voice off in the distance. Uh oh, oh? Okay. Really?" "What's he saying?!"
"Shirou says that there is no way to tell which is correct. It's a 50/50 shot. Either the update is reformatted and the corrupt data deleted, or the entire Digital World will be erased." "What?! You can't be serious." "Oh, he sounds serious. Isn't it romantic, in a way? This should totally go in the play." "This is not theater, this is real life!"
Now that they have found the inverter, they need to figure out how to power it up. They could place the bomb in the slot, but it wouldn't quite reach the circuits. They need to figure out some way of connecting the bomb to the inverter. Some sort of cog or rotating machine part would do the trick. ______________

"Indeed, the old dial-up system was much too inefficient since these analog phone lines were its greatest Achilles' heel. Therefore, they were phased out along with that system to make way for the modern, fully digital methods of Internet access. Consequently no one except for perhaps technological enthusiasts like myself would have a dial-up system, though not for everyday use, simply to preserve as a technological relic from the days of yore."Faustein had said when Ravenna had asked him whether anyone even used the dial-up method of internet connection anymore and she explained how her grandmother could not figure out her Wi-Fi password. After that, Taser which was Faustein's Kokuwamon had begun to translate the incoming Morse Code from Ravenna's friend, Shirou and as Faustein watched, the group learned that they were to take the bomb to some obelisk in the area, then activate the inverter, and lastly flip some switch in order to patch the update and simultaneously restore the area from its glitchy and buggy state and create a means of escape for them. Hmm, seems oddly facile for such a grandiose problem...what exactly is the truth behind it?Faustein had frowned just for a brief moment before restoring his face to its usual impassive, inscrutable form as he heard this person called Shirou explain what the group needed to do in order to resolve the problematic situation. It seemed to him that there was more going on here, so as surreptitiously as he could, he had looked at the Piedmon which was currently being convinced by Ravenna to aid them in their restoration of the Digital World and then he had gazed up at the hologram in the chaotic sky which was displaying the image of Ravenna's friend, Shirou, and had thought he noticed some kind of connection between them, but since he did not yet have conclusive proof, he had decided he would keep it to himself for now. Meanwhile the negotiations had apparently been finished as was the bickering and so, the group was now ready to move to the obelisk and then begin the restoration process. At this stage, the Solarmon which had been following them came up and in due course, Ravenna suggested that she fly them all over to the obelisk since she was in her Suzamon fused spirit form. So, Faustein, Piedmon, and the Solarmon took her up on that and thus, they were all transported to the obelisk. Once there, they had found some sort of spherical recess carved into the side of the obelisk with the lever right above it held in the middle position. Now the situation is reaching a crescendo...so what will happen next?Faustein wondered as he watched the situation unfold silently as Ravenna noticed that she could not hear her friend Shirou's directions anymore and at that point, Faustein saw the Piedmon smirking briefly before he went on to explain what Shirou had apparently said in a more coherent message Now this Piedmon looks even more suspicious...just how was it able to decipher that garbled, unintelligible message anyway?Faustein thought silently, but he figured the truth would reveal itself in time, so for now he simply let the events progress at their chosen pace. Ravenna apparently bought into the Piedmon's explanation and placed the bomb into the slot but then, the group found that the bomb was not quite reaching the circuitry of the inverted above it and would need some sort of cog or rotating gear to connect them successfully. As he heard that revelation, he looked at the Solarmon which was known to have the ability to create gears to use in its various abilities, so he suggested "So we require a gear or a cog, eh? Well now, this situation is quite fortuitous indeed. Solarmon here is said to have the ability to create gears as part of its moveset. Therefore, how about if we avail ourselves of this ability? It could be the key we need to finally unlock this puzzle." Then, he fell silent and waited to see what the others would say to his proposal for a solution to the plan and whether the Solarmon actually had such an ability in its arsenal, for while it was true that the Solarmon species did posses that skill, this particular one could very well be the black sheep of the lot. It seems that Faust actually has a dial up connection still. Not for regular use, but rather to preserve an ancient technology. Why anyone would feel nostalgic about the predictable beeps and screeching sounds while waiting to load silly cat pictures perplexes Ravenna.
The group had reached the obelisk without much difficulty, and now they were face to face with the inverter. The bomb is a good fit, but they were a few gears short of powering it on. Faust mentions that the Solarmon in their company has the power to generate gears.
"Hey, ya! Gears and efficient energy use are my specialties." Solarmon goes up to the inverter, and his gears start rotating. He brings his outer most gears together, and a series of cogs appears. He places the cogs in the inverter, connecting the explosive device to the construct.
"Great work, Solarmon. Glad you could make yourself useful." "Don't knock me now, bird brain. I just saved the day." The obelisk is drawing the attention of more and more Digimon. Suddenly an explosion goes off nearby. Several flying insectoid Digimon with strange teal markings swarm the obelisk. "Get inside and flip the switch! I'll deal with these pests." Piedmon cracks his knuckles, then leaps up into the sky. The bugs start attacking the Prince of Chaos, but they are little match for Piedmon's Trump Swords. The joker slices and dices several insects with relative ease.
While Piedmon is having little difficulty, the number of bugs continues to grow. He could use some help. These bugs don't seem to want them to fix the update. They don't have much time. Ravenna anxiously stares at the switch. "What are you waiting for? Just flip the switch!" "Oh, but I don't know which way! It's a 50/50 shot the Digital World will be destroyed." There is no way of telling which direction is correct, not even an inclination. There was no sense in taking longer to decide.
Ravenna takes a deep breath, then turns to Faust for support. Slowly, she reaches out towards the lever and grasps it in her hand. "If this doesn't work, I'm sorry! Here it goes." Ravenna flips the switch up, and the electrical current flows through the construct. A blinding flash of light engulfs the room, followed by total darkness.
"Hello? Is anyone there? I can't see or hear anyone. Is the Digital World really gone?" There was dead silence. It appears that they rolled the dice and lost. Finally, Ravenna can hear the sound of beating drums grow steadily. A massive crowd can be heard roaring and cheering. Ravenna opens her eyes, and the group finds themselves standing on a stage in Terminus City in front of a large crowd.
"What's going on? Did it work?" An Angewomon on stage bows politely to show respect. "Congratulations. Thanks to your bravery, the update has been patched. We thank you, heroes!" The crowd cheers for the group. Ravenna smiles nervously and waves.
"Wait a minute... heroes?! Oh no, oh no-no-noooo, this will not stand! I am a villain! My principles will not be compromised!" Angewomon gives Piedmon a big hug. "Hmm, I guess it's not all bad." Piedmon starts pandering to the crowd and showboating. All the heroes are given a gold medal. Well, a big piece of chocolate wrapped in gold foil. In all the commotion, Ravenna tries to get Faust's attention and motions towards behind the stage so they can talk and figure out how to get home. ___________

The group had taken his advice and had enlisted the aid of the Solarmon which had been following them and in due course, the inverter had been connected to the explosive device via the Solarmon's gears. However, as there had been no indication or hint about which direction to flip the switch, Ravenna had hesitated while there was a giant swarm of strange insectoid creatures attacking them. Fortunately for them, the Piedmon that had been their enemy in the first half of the encounter had leaped into action and made quick work of said insectoids. While that was happening, since she was urged to simply flip the switch, Ravenna had done just that and as Faustein watched on, the whole world went dark for several moments, but eventually a giant stage manifested itself out of the darkness and an Angewomon which was presumably the emcee congratulated them all while the crowd showered the whole group with a plethora of accolades.
Well this is decidedly strange, even more so than all the events up till now combined....Oh well, perhaps it would be prudent to simply accept the course of events.
Faustein mused silently as he watched the Piedmon remonstrate vehemently at the prospect of being addressed as a hero along with the others, though his tune changed rather quickly once the Angewomon had embraced him. After that, each member of the group was handed what seemed like a solid gold medallion in honor of their efforts, but upon closer inspection, Faustein as well as the rest of the group discovered that the so called medallions were nothing more than large chocolate coins
All of that effort and THIS is our reward? How quaint...
Faustein mused silently as he watched the Piedmon walk to the front of the stage and start showboating, which in turn led to Faustein joining said Piedmon in his grandstanding, much to the amusement of the crowds. The pair of them were effectively playing the crowd as a conductor would the members of an orchestra for the duration of their theatrics. However, Faustein, at the very least, was not able to finish due to the fact that he noticed Ravenna beckoning him over to the backstage area, presumably to discuss their dimensional exit methodology. So, he took a final bow and while leaving the stage to the Piedmon, he retreated and eventually joined up with Ravenna while whispering in her ear with that usual rich, baritone but hypnotically melodious voice
Perhaps it would be prudent for you to work on your "Come hither" maneuvers. That was hardly arousing or exhilarating, to be sure."
Then, he flashed her a smug smirk with his thin, firm lips and afterwards, without waiting to see or hear her response or reaction, Faustein sidestepped her and went further into the backstage area and while extending his bionic left arm outward in the space immediately anterior to him, spoke the usual command for the Digi-Port
"Digi-Port, open."
In response, a large stable digital portal opened up in front of him and so, he beckoned Ravenna over with the instruction
"Well then, follow me if you will, Ravenna. This shall be our exit."
Saying thus, he stepped through the Digi-Port and exited into Shibuya Station on the other side. Thanks to the update patch to the coding of the Digital World, the portal would stay open just long enough for Ravenna to exit through it as well to the Human World. However, Faustein had other places to be, so he could not wait for her to arrive as well. Therefore, he headed out of the Shibuya Station and then hailed a cab which then took him back to his residence from whence he would undoubtedly go on to have many other adventures in the days to come.

The chaos is finally over. Having activated the inverter, the update was patched and they were greeted with a hero's welcome. After Piedmon changes his mind on being celebrated as a hero, he starts playing to the crowd. It wasn't long until Faust joins him in showboating, much to the delight of the relieved Digimon.
Ravenna tries to get Faust's attention during the celebrating. It seems to work, as Faust takes a final bow and comes over. However, he seemed to interpret her intentions as something more sensual, commenting that her "come hither" move needs some work. Ravenna's brow scrunches up atop her face and she sneers with her lips. She quickly flaps her wings in and out, her feathers ruffled.
"I wasn't trying to be arousing! If I was going to seduce a guy, it would work like a charm." *Switches to throaty, seductive tone.* "These curves and a little smile brings all the boys to the yard."
How dare Faust question Ravenna's game? What matters is that this ragtag group had come together and saved the Digital World of a devastating fate. As Piedmon is posing for the crowd, he performs a spin and rotates around before posing with a rose. He catches a glimpse of Ravenna and Faust leaving.
"Remember our deal, Ravenna. You are going to be in more of my plays. I'll see you two again soon, wha haha ha haaa!" "Ya, okay, clown... Fat chance." "I heard that, bird girl!"
Once they get backstage, Faust commands his Digi-Port to open, creating a portal to Shibuya Station. Ravenna deactivates her spirit form and returns to her normal goth attire. "Looks like we did something amazing today. I'm glad reality is back to normal. Hit me up online, and we can hang out sometime when the world is not going insane."
Ravenna follows Faust through the portal, hoping that the Digital World doesn't get a patch any time soon. Only time will tell what the legend of their journey will become. Solarmon would never forget the role he played, milking his new found fame for all it is worth. Now that Piedmon had returned, he would return to his passions in theater. Still, something did not sit right with Ravenna. Piedmon mentioned that the update brought him back. Just what exactly did this update change about the Digital World? Ravenna would have to find out later, as this was more than enough of an adventure for the college athlete. A big meal, nice hot bubble bath, and good night's sleep is what is on Raye's mind now. Many more adventures await, but for now, it is time to rest and relax. 445 ____________
