A fair amount of time had passed after the most recent event in Faustein’s life, that being a team NEXUS related affair wherein he had attending a meeting with the team’s leader, Zaber, as well as a few other members. The point of this meeting had been to recruit a potential ally into the ranks of NEXUS, this ally apparently being a young boy gifted with prodigious intellect who was currently attending the prestigious Tokyo Institute of Technology. Since then, Faustein had once again gone back to the grind of his daily life, both in the professional and private spheres and thus had been busy till present time. However, there came a lull in his usually heavy workload and he had hit a slump as far as his latest research project was concerned as well, so he decided to take a break for a few days. Perhaps it would be wise to investigate that app which came in the email and is apparently intended for my digivice. After all, a change of pace does seem to be required in the current situation. With that thought in mind, Faustein turned his custom built, high-spec desktop computer on and after accessing the email in question, downloaded the app and installed it onto his digivice, all the while wondering what sort of program it was and who or what created it. After that, he made sure all the possible entry points to his house were secured against potential intrusion and then activated his digivice and then the app as well. The app in question was apparently something called a “ Digi-Farm” and it was a fully customizable space where one’s Digimon, whether corporeal or in Spirit form could roam free, according to the developers anyway. The description even went so far as claiming that a solo Digimon could visit the user's Digi-Farm. Needless to say, due to this, his interest was piqued greatly and that was why he decided to download the app in the first place. “Now, time to test the veracity of the developer’s claims.”He murmured to himself as he activated the app, but what happened next surprised him. Specifically, some sort of digital vortex appeared from his digivice and sucked him into it in the blink of an eye. The next moment had him landing on what felt like a thick bed of carefully kept grass. So, he righted himself and sat up while looking about the area “Well, this is certainly unexpected, I wonder what is the objective of this space?”He murmured to himself as he continued to look about, not knowing that soon he would be having some unexpected company in this space. Kazumi had been checking her emails and had come upon something curious. As the Xros General read the message she turned to her Xros Loader where Vemmon was currently inside. Sometimes Vemmon would be in there when he needed sometime alone to think. It had been happening more often since they encountered his father, an evil Snatchmon who created her partner to be an army for take over of the Digital World. She couldn't say she could blame him for being upset and though she didn't want to bother him, she asked "Vemmon, I just got this crazy email. Something about a being able to interact with your digimon in a digital space. You up to checking it out?"
"S-Seems silly since I spend time with you when we travel as well as in your apartment. T-Though this email does have me intrigued. I g-guess we should check this out." Vemmon said as Kazumi downloaded the app and activated it.
Next thing the red head and her partner knew, they had landed in some soft grass and began looking around. "K-Kazumi look! T-There is meat growing out of the ground all around here. T-This seems like some kind of farm." Vemmon said in excitement before becoming wary. B-Be careful, Kazumi. W-We aren't alone here." Vemmon said as he pointed with his arm.
Following her partners gesture, she soon spotted a human with white hair with in eyesight but just out of shouting range. "I think we should say hello and don't worry Vemmon, I plan to be careful."
Nodding in acceptance of his general's response the two approached the stranger while remaining cautious of potential danger.

Ding!
John's eyes flickered to the notification popup on his laptop computer. The day had been pretty slow, so up until now he had just been relaxing with his two partnered Digimon in his room within the AEGIS Headquarters. More specifically, the man was browsing the TamerNet forums.
The man swerved his mouse so the cursor could click on the popup provided by his e-mail account. "What's this?" he murmured. Curiosity got the better of him. It gripped his attention tightly while his eyes rolled over the opened message.
The e-mail in question was about a new app that was developed for Digivices. Something called "Digi-Fram." However, this app had some pretty bold claims. The main of which detailed how a human or Digimon could physically enter this space. Was such a thing even possible?
John's thoughts were interrupted by a tap on his leg. "Hm?" He looked down to see Casimeir and Shinra both quite intrigued in whatever he was reading.
"What's got you so interested?" the Agumon asked, peering toward the laptop screen.
"Well," John began, "it's just an e-mail I got. Something about a new feature for Digivices." The man wheeled his chair a bit to the side to offer his companions a better view. "It says that it allows humans and Digimon a chance to interact together in a virtual world. I guess it's sorta like the Digital Shifts we've encountered. Though...It seems crazy."
Shinra tilted her head to the side. "Well, why not check it out? We can always report what we find to AEGIS, right?"
John mellowed over the suggestion for a while. "True," he mused. "Okay then. I'll link up the Digivice to the app right now."
In the instant John had clicked on the "download" button, a blinding light shimmered from his laptop screen. The sudden burst caused the group to yelp in surprise. The room itself became engulfed in the light, blinding all in the process as their forms were whisked away.
The next thing he realized, John was sitting upright with his partners adjacent to him on a park bench. Their blindness slowly faded away, leaving each with a minor dizzy spell.
"Ugh...That was pleasant," John groaned, rubbing at his eyelids.

MPC Name: Ol McDigi Had a Farm MPC Number: 75a Reward Requested: Bits plz. Say that fast enough and it sounds like you're saying something else. While apparently everyone else in the world had been checking their e-mail, it was but a blip of noise to Honoka as she continued her run down the pathway of Miyashita Park. She didn't get the opportunity to come here often, but something about the serene atmosphere let her enjoy herself more than usual. Mostly because when she ran in her neighborhood, it was from some thug or yakuza. With her D-Tector Digivice in her front pocket, and her phone in her back, she didn't even register the message about the Digi-farm. Still, it didn't go entirely unheard, however, as the spectral form of a Floramon appeared in front of the running girl.
"Floramon, hey! Is something the matter?" She continued running, yet probably should have stopped. Though her Digimon's spirit form was invisible to everyone but the girl, the fact remained that there was a flower creature that was blocking her vision. So when she saw the stray dog suddenly run in front of her, the girl had to bend her knees down, lower her center of gravity, and take a massive leap to avoid the passing canine. Little did she know, this exact movement for her rear end to come into contact with Honoka's phone screen, open up the message screen, and select confirm. Before she reached the apex of her jump, her Digivice suddenly activated, sending her through a portal towards another world, leaving behind a very confused dog that would quickly go about its business to terrorize some other human one day. The next thing Honoka saw was a large pile of leaves and branches, as she continued to ascend into a tree. She let out a yelp as she grabbed onto the nearest branch as a reflex, only for it to break and continue falling. She began to scream, but cut it short once she managed to lock the back of her knees on one of the lowest-hanging branches, popping out from the bulk of the tree, next to a bench occupied by a man she had never met before and his Digimon partners. Hanging upside down rather immodestly, she let out an annoyed groan and she rubbed the bridge of her nose. Maybe it was the inter-dimensional travel, or the sudden rush of excitement, or the fact that all the blood in her body was going towards her cranium, but she was already getting the beginning of a headache.
"Just once..." She began with an irritated tone. "Just once in my life, I would like to make a normal entrance somewhere..."
She hadn't quite noticed the other three yet, or even the Floramon standing underneath the tree, wordlessly staring up at her partner in a corporeal form. Word Count: 488/1000

Faustein had been examining his new surroundings for quite a while now with great interest from his sitting position on the same exact spot where he had first landed in the virtual world of the Digi-Farm app. Most of the features were fairly standard but one caught his hauntingly bright crimson red gaze. There was apparently a small patch of what seemed to be farmland with actual meat on bone skewers growing up out of it in neat little rows. Seriously? A meat farm? This app sure does have some rather strange features in it.That brings the story up to the present moment when Faustein's silent reverie was broken abruptly and unexpectedly when he heard two very familar voices, both sounding rather hollow and flat, and perhaps metallic as well, like those of stereotypical robots "Alert: Unknown signatures detected, General. Suggestion: Investigation of unknowns to determine threat level and objective."Upon hearing that, Faustein raised his head and squinted at the distant figures, two of which were approaching his location at a slow, albeit steady pace. The other two parties were currently stationary though, due to the distance, he could not make out any details about them currently. So, he turned to his twin partners, " Taser" the " Kokuwamon" and " Lego" the " ShadowToyAgumon" and nodded "Acknowledged. Follow along, then and let's meet our guests halfway."Saying thus, he pushed himself off the soft grass and up onto his feet in one swift, smooth motion and after dusting off the grass sticking to his shorts, he started walking towards the female and her Vemmon. Before long, he had walked to a position which was currently halfway between his previous position and theirs. Then, once he was within earshot, he pushed the polarized lenses bearing Google Glasses which were on his face up till they rested on his high, wide forehead and stood with an arched back. Then, he raised his arms which had cloth forearm guards ensheathing his forearms and while drawing them back, he exclaimed with a wide toothy smile with his thin, firm lips visibly parted to show off his pearly whites, especially his quasi-vampiric looking canines, all in an attempt to imitate a rather popular meme he had come across recently while surfing the net "Oh? You're approaching me?! Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?!"He said in his rich baritone, but somehow melodious voice which resounded through the still air, clearly audible to all who wwere within range and chosen to listen, and then he fell silent to see if they would comprehend his attempted reference. Now that he had pushed his glasses out of the way, his hauntingly bright, almost jarring crimson red eyes would be clearly visible to the girl and her digimon who were approaching him. The general and her partner approached the white haired man only briefly stopping when a shriek was briefly heard. Looks like some other people had arrived here and one seemed to have ended up in a not so soft spot. Kazumi and Vemmon wondered if they should investigate but when a baritone voice said "Oh? You're approaching me?! Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?!"
"Why should I run away? Are you saying you're dangerous to me or anyone else here?" the goggle wearing red head asked as she looked the stranger in his red eyes. From Vemmon's mandible came an amused clicking noise as the little digimon was doing an analysis of his own.
"K-Kazumi, I sense digimon here as well. B-Be on guard in case they are aggressive." the soft spoken digimon stuttered as he was now on guard while looking for potential danger in this landscape.
"Let's just hope the worst they intend to do is snack on the meat growing from the ground in this strange place." Kazumi said as she briefly glanced for cover before turning her attention to the stranger. "Hey Vemmon, maybe this stranger has a digimon with him. I mean why else would he be here?"

John quizzically inspected his hands. Curling and unfurling his fingers to flex the muscles. His body, as far as he could tell, looked no different. The memory of being transported to this space was still very fresh in his mind. Was this a dream?
Upon looking over his surroundings, the man deduced he was inside of the Digi-Farm which was advertised in the e-mail. "Note to self," he groaned, "don't download suspicious apps from random messages. What is it with Digivices and their need to randomly teleport people to different places?"
Casimeir hopped off of the bench, taking his own time to look around the area from his spot. "This definitely isn't the Digital World," he sighed. "Maybe it is some kind of Digital Shift like you said before?"
John's mouth opened to reply. However, his attention snapped toward the tree adjacent to the bench, from which a lot of crashing and screaming came from. Suddenly, a young teenager sprouted from it, hanging upside down! There was even a new Digimon standing beneath the tree.
"Well," Shinra mused, "I guess our entrance could've been worse."
John quickly stood up, still staring worriedly toward the girl. He moved underneath the tree and opened his arms. "Here, I'll catch you," he offered.

While hanging upside down, Honoka took a minute to get her bearings. She wasn't in the park anymore, but rather in some sort of... plains? Well, she guessed it was like a park, but this one had... a yellow lizard Digimon. And one of those animals that rolled up into a ball... aardvark? No, an armadillo! Also next to them was some dude that ran up beneath her and offered to catch her.
He wasn't running away from the Digimon nearby, so she presumed that they were partners. Which meant he was probably a tamer. He was in his mid-twenties, light brown hair, and looked like a foreigner. Seriously, between Kan, this guy... that other one... She had probably met more non-Japanese Digivice wielders than not. Wasn't the Digimon phenomenon only supposed to take place in Shibuya? Talk about strange...
Still, offering to catch her was polite enough, but accepting it so readily didn't quite sit right with the girl. She simply waved back at the man. "No, it's alright! I can get down on my own!" She let her arms dangle down below her, letting them adjust her center of gravity as she flipped around and grabbed the branch with her hands. From there, the drop was only a few meters or so as she let go of the branch, making sure to bend her knees upon landing. Still, she managed to stay on her feet as the shock from the landing sent a shock of pain through her body. She probably would have been better off letting the stranger catch her, but she instead gave him a thumbs-up. "See? No problem!" Meanwhile, behind the girl, the Floramon lifted her flowery hands in the air, silently cheering the girl on.
"It's some pretty strange circumstances we're in right now, but I'm Honoka!" She said, pulling out her D-Tector Digivice, then giving the man a polite bow. "Umm... you wouldn't happen to know what exactly is going on, wo-" Her question was cut off by the sound of a familiar rich baritone echoing out into the air. Just the sound of his voice made the girl visibly uncomfortable, and for a brief moment, a look of disgust and disdain washed over her face before she forced a smile. "It was really nice meeting you, mister, but I'm afraid I have somewhere else to be right now!" She said, trying to sneak away before that overly-verbose bastard could notice her. Word Count: 409

Apparently not as many people actually watched anime and read manga as he had originally thought for the girl had totally failed to comprehend his attempt at such an obvious reference, well obvious to any true connoisseur of anime and manga. So my attempt failed, did it? Oh well, There's no remedy for ignorance perhaps.Although the digimon which was next to the girl seemed quite familiar and was apparently amused by something, if his memory of learning what those clicking noises meant from the Digimon Online VRMMORPG were still active, anyway. Nevertheless, Faustein went ahead with his correction of the situation, after clearing his throat lightly, and continued speaking in that same baritone but melodious voice from earlier as it was his natural one "Then, it would be safe to surmise that you are not really conversant with anime and/or manga, perhaps. The answer to your question, however, is no. We are no threat to anyone here, be they human or digimon. Of course, if you are here since you hacked your way in as black hats tend to do, then that's a different story. So, which might you two be, pray tell? Friend or foe?"He posed his own question to her with a quizzical head tilt and then watched as the digimon next to her alerted its partner to the presence of his own digimon, which were a duo of course. In response to that, the girl responded by remarking about her hope that they were only dangerous to the meat growing in the little patches of farmland here and there. She also speculated aloud about whether or not Faustein had a digimon with him and the reasoning was that he was in a space which could only be accessed by people with both a digivice AND a digimon partner "Your perspicacity is commendable, indeed. My two digimon partners are most certainly here at the moment."Saying thus, he fell silent and after a brief few moments, he snapped his fingers audibly while saying "Zeig dich! Taser! Lego!"In response to that brief instruction in a crystal clear albeit temporarily flat voice and audible finger snap, his two digimon, " Taser" aka the " Kokuwamon" and " Lego" the " ShadowToyagumon" stepped out from behind him and then stood at attention on either side of him. Then, he and his two waited patiently and silently to experience the reactions of their conversation partners. OOC:Text Legend:- Un-Bolded Italics w/o Quotes: Faustein's silent thoughts

Though this human seemed no threat he looked at Vemmon in way where it seemed he recognized the species of her partner. Vemmon, meanwhile, was on the lookout other digimon that might of been wondering around still. When the white haired stranger spoke to her ending with a question, she said "If what you said was an anime or magna reference it must be one I'm not familiar with. Between work and some crazy adventures I haven't had time for much else. I'm no threat to anyone that may be here and neither is my partner Vemmon. You see I found this odd program in my email and that's why we are here."
Vemmon shook his head and said "S-Sharp as a whip as some humans come but as always a b-blunt instrument. S-Strange how we work so well." Though Vemmon was soft spoken, he spoke with confidence. When the stranger brought out his partners Vemmon said "It s-seems like this stranger is partnered with twins."
"Twins? Is it normal for twin digimon to look so different?" Kazumi asked.
"S-Sometimes but when they look different like that t-they tend to have traits in common." Vemmon explained seeing as the only twins that Kazumi met where a Terriermon and Lopmon. Kazumi nodded in understanding as it seemed that being a Xros General was quiet the learning experience.
"I wonder if anyone else is out in this area." Kazumi stated before she continued "I guess if there are we'll all find out soon enough."

As it turned out, Honoka was quite capable of getting herself out of her predicament! She had managed to get herself unhooked from the branch and land on her feet in a brilliant display of athleticism. John and his partners even felt the need to offer a short round of applause!
With Honoka now out of danger, she introduced herself and even began asking if they knew anything about their current location. But before she could go on, she had a sudden urge to leave. This left John slightly disappointed. He had gotten to meet someone new, and already they wanted to leave.
Still. John wanted to remain polite and at least offer some sort of explanation for the teenager.
"It's nice to meet you, Honoka," he began, giving a bit of a slight smile. "I'm John, and my partners are Casimeir the Agumon, and Shinra the Armadillomon." Both smiled and gave a quick hello to the pair before them.
"As for where we are...Well, we can only guess it's some kind of pocket space. Maybe a place between the Digimon and human worlds. But we're as clueless as you are."
John and the others didn't want to keep Honoka any longer than they had to. "Well, good luck, and maybe we'll see each other around."
John could have sworn he heard voices from a nearby area. If anything the three of them could go and investigate. They left Honoka to her own devices. Not much later did they come across the other group. With a smile and a wave, John called out to them.
"Hey! Did you guys get an e-mail for a Digi-Farm too?"

Honoka waved farewell to John, Casimier, and Shinra as they went their separate ways. She hadn't even noticed Floramon until a few seconds later when the plant Digimon began to follow her. She only saw the Digimon out of the corner of her eye before she turned around and started walking off. Then she suddenly did a double take as the flower Digimon smiled and waved back to the human girl. Stunned silent, Honoka waved back, causing Floramon to jump into the air in excitement.
"H-hello there, Floramon..." She managed to stammer. She walked up to her not-so-spectral partner, curiously investigating her partner's appearance. She definitely didn't seem to be a ghost. She reached out and patted the flower Digimon's head. Floramon began to sway from side to side as a result. Yep. She could definitely feel her, too. John said this was a pocket dimension... whatever that was... between the human and Digital World. But what kind of limbo world brought spirits back to life?
Unless... it was the other way around! Maybe the reason that Honoka could touch Floramon wasn't because Floramon suddenly became corporeal, but because Honoka became... like Floramon!? And if she was in some kind of farm... she never had the pleasure of having any pets herself, but she had heard stories of her friend's pets "going to the farm"... was this some sort of twisted version of that!? Was this the place people with Digivices went to when they... Digivolved past their final stage?
But then... how? She had been perfectly healthy! She was incredibly fit for her age... okay... maybe she didn't eat as much as she should have but she never went out of her way to eat unhealthy! She always made sure not to sit down too long when studying, and as far as she knew she didn't have any family history of illnesses...
Maybe... she had run too much? She didn't think her heart had been racing too hard, but when the dog appeared in front of her so suddenly...
She checked her pulse to feel a heartbeat. So much for that theory. But if that was the case, where was she?
She overheard John calling out to other people here, one of them most likely being him. Still something he said about an e-mail intrigued her. So she decided to join the group, casually walking up with Floramon in tow. Word Count: 401. I've gotten to 1000 now. Suck it, nerds.

Faustein had been listening to the girl and her Vemmon and to say they were an amusing pair was an understatement. They were somehow downright hilarious, but he had other more pressing matters to attend to, so he pushed that to the back of his mind for the time being "Ah, now there's a rather strange coincidence. That is exactly the sequence of events which had brought me to this strange place." Faustein had said when he heard the girl called Kazumi inform him that she had been brought here through a strange email which had sent her the Digi-Farm app for her digivice as well, just as he was in his situation. Then, Faustein listened as she conversed with her Vemmon about Faustein's twin Xros partners and heard the Vemmon clarify her doubts. "Indeed they do, and in this case, the similarity is that they are completely robotic in personality and mannerisms."He remarked in return, adding a bit more to their conversation and he was about to say more, but then a voice drifted through the air towards him asking if they had gotten an email as well with a smile and wave. Shortly thereafter, a man with what seemed like an Agumon and an Armadillomon for Digimon partners. He was followed by a rather familiar face, one whom he had met recently whilst in prison at Rustport City. "Well now, this coincidence seems to be deeper and more widespread that it had seemed at first glance. How very intriguing, it piques my curiosity greatly. The short answer to your question is yes, a suspicious albeit intriguing app sent to me through an equally if not more suspicious but curious email is the reason for my presence here."Faustein said with a nod to the man with the Agumon and Armadillomon before turning to the girl some feet behind him and said with a smirk while visibly narrowing his strikingly bright crimson red eyes at her as well "My, if it isn't the diminutive warrior princess! This is truly a MOST undeserved but appreciated honor, indeed! To what do I owe the honor of this most MOMENTOUS tête-à-tête with YOU on this otherwise humdrum day, pray tell?"He said, with his rich baritone and melodious voice now possessing an undercurrent of high amusement but also a touch of venomous sarcasm and then flashed her a smug smirk once more before falling silent while turning his head back to the other two to observe their responses and reactions. While waiting he wondered what the others would think of his casual and rather rough looking outfit. OOC:Appearance:Text Legend:- Un-Bolded Italics w/o Quotes: Faustein's silent thoughts

At the site of the Agumon and Armadillomon, Vemmon looked at them with curiosity. It was highly unlikely they were twins since they were too dissimilar. Though if they had more in common outwardly, such an odd pair of twins wouldn't be unheard of.
Kazumi's attention was turned to a pink haired girl that the white haired stranger spoke to by referring to her as a warrior princess. Apparently the two had met priorly. She then noticed a reptile like digimon with a flower motif to it. She had to admit that digimon was rather adorable. So were the other two digimon now that she thought about it. "Looks like this place is attracting interesting folks, Vemmon. Maybe you should relax slightly since we're outnumbered if it came to a fight anyway. Besides if any of the digimon meant any real harm wouldn't they have attacked by now?"
"G-Good point, Kazumi. Unless t-these humans are sadistic schemers they would of attacked."
"Geez, Vemmon. What's with the cynicism lately. Just because we learned your father was a monster doesn't mean you have to be suspicious of everyone." Kazumi said kneeling down and placing a hand on her partners' shoulder. Her green eyes caught sight of the green eyes Vemmon had that would occasionally become visible since his visor mostly blocked his eyes from view.

So. His suspicions were confirmed. John and the rest of the group had in fact arrived here due to the e-mail. There was just the question of how potentially dangerous or malicious the intentions were of the sender. Or rather, how they came across a technology that allowed humans to enter an application developed for the public. John had at least expected such a thing to involve a Virtual Reality headset.
Then again, Digital Shifts had been created before. And there was the fact that the Digital World existed. If that was the case, creating a world wasn't entirely impossible to the man.
Faustein looked to be the more confident of the three he met so far here in this Dig-Farm. He definitely had in interesting appearance, and contained a colorful personality.
John's smile widened partly from the interactions of the others. "I guess it's only fair to get introductions out of the way. My name's John. As you can probably tell, I'm not a local to Shibuya. But I've been living in Japan for a few years now."
He looked toward Vemmon, still smiling to help ease away any tension that might still remain. "And don't worry, Vemmon. No one's going to get hurt here."
"I'm Casimeir!" the Agumon chirped. "John became my Partner almost as soon as he moved to Japan."
Shinra was the last to chime in. "And I'm Shinra! Casimeir's brother! I joined these two not long ago. How long have you all been with your Digimon partners?"
Once the initial meeting would pass, John would go on to bring up a more important matter.
"So. Has anyone figured out just how we can manage to leave when we decide to?" While he didn't want to bring about any potential panic or unease, having an option to leave, and finding out how to do so, were important things to discover.
