The Lower Levels.
Whereas the ‘high’ group was meeting far away from the city, the ‘low’ group was meeting right near the center of it!
Well, ‘right near the center of it’, but also quite a good distance underground. The instructions given to the oncoming group were to enter through the abandoned mines west of town, follow the small, glowing orbs of light, and meet the Wizardmon at some oddly-formatted coordinates, which was scratched out and replaced ‘at the end of the lit tunnel’. Though for the Wizardmon leading this group to the lower levels, this was not just because the coordinates were nigh indecipherable.
No, it was because a darn compass, Digital or not, couldn’t get a good reading here! Whether it was because of the town, the remnant metals in the mind, or the tower itself remained unclear, but with such simple directions it didn’t really matter. Past the trail, provided no-one got lost on the way, the group would eventually come across a well-lit cavern, and a single Wizardmon. He was crouched near a wall, checking the angle on a particular-looking rock: a smooth cut, against an otherwise rough wall.
“Such a shame. Pristine piece of Digizoid here, but it looks like the miners couldn’t take it. Too much weight keeping the thing hemmed in there…” He sighed, standing up, stretching out his back. No matter how he tried to entertain himself here, the sorcerer found himself restless. There was a mystery just beyond those walls, and he just wanted his own crack at figuring it out!
“Soon enough, soon enough…” Kenny O'Hara and SkadiMaeColin, Luke & Bellamy@k

A city of machines emerging out of practically nowhere was something that the year or two old shifted regime of Luminas had every right to be concerned about. So naturally, why not send one of the heroes that saved a forest from complete immolation in to investigate? After all, she was already under their employ.
...
Mae didn't really have any problems with this. The only problem she had period was that she got paged...during a coffee break. The Rasielmon descended at the entrance of the tunnel, and tried for a moment or two to recall where she was meant to go. Yes, through the mines, follow the orbs. Meet Wizardmon.
Easy enough.
The Rasielmon followed the tunnel to the best of her ability, and the literal MOMENT she saw that single Wizardmon. She uttered a singular, "Yo." and sipped her goddamn drink. "So, any guesses as to the cause of whatever this stuff is? Because I was quite literally only given the instructions of enter through the mines until I meet a Wizardmon. Which I assume is you, mind!" A pause.
"...I'm Mae. Good to be working with you, I guess." Time to wait for more people to show up. No way in hell she would approach this alone.

Let's be honest; this wasn't exactly the first time Kenny and Skadi tangled with Luminas in their adventures. Last time around, they had chipped in to help save Rosewood from, to put it simply, a brainwashed Seraphimon from razing it to the ground, in order to reassure the gigantic forest dwelling Sovereign, Ebonwumon, that, yes, He could go back into hiding and rest peacefully without fear of another massive threat rearing it's ugly head.
Besides, the fact that these two had somehow managed to successfully assist a literal God was enough to really put these two on the map. And the news of a pillar of light emerging from seemingly nowhere, accompanied by an equally mysterious city following suit, raised a lot of concerns. Neither were exactly content to rest on their laurels and let it idly slide by, and as members of KIZNA, it was only right they had to delve deep into this mystery.
As far as they knew, their training wheels were good as gone.
And so, one packing and subsequent trip through the Digi-Port later, and they would find themselves at the entrance of the abandoned mine, and as they stepped through, an odd chill rattled through Kenny as he and his partner followed the pathway set out by the glowing orbs of light. Simple, really.
But as they walked, the young man would give a quiet, albeit content sigh, shuffling his hands into his pockets, "Hm... Skadi, I gotta admit to you... I kinda feel a lot less nervous going into this mission. Y'know, after dealing with, like, a freaking God of all things? I feel like we could take on anything at this point."
"I'm glad to hear that, Kenny." Skadi looked up at him with a warm smile, "You always seemed so nervous and scared on our earlier missions, especially ever since we joined KIZNA. But look at us! We dealt with a lot of things the Digital World has thrown at us! The Demon Lords, the Bleached, the Golden Week attacks! We've come out a lot of those things stronger than ever! I'm sure we're gonna do good and make KIZNA proud, as always!" Despite her own nerves, it was not hard to ignore the bubbling, undying optimism stemming from the Valaismon's tone.
And, yes, it was not lost on Kenny, as he lightly pat his partner on the head, smiling back at her, "Thanks, girl. Right now, I'm just... more concerned about that pillar of light out there. Call it a gut feeling, but... I just find it a little concerning, considering the circumstances." He bit his lip a little, "I just hope we can figure it out as soon as possible."
Skadi stayed quiet for a moment, twiddling her fingers a little, before uttering, "Me too." Just what was going on, anyways? What were the motives of these mysterious residents? And what was with that giant pillar of light and what did it have to do with the robot and machine Digimon?
From the look of things, they looked to be the second to arrive, beaten only by Mae, assuming her majestic Rasielmon form, and the Wizardmon client. Like Mae before them, the two would also introduce themselves, "Hello, my name's Kenneth O'Hara. I'm from KIZNA, and so is my partner." He addressed the mage.
The young Valaismon would, in turn, follow up, waving to the wizard, "I'm Skadi. Nice to meet you!"
Taking in a small, deep breath, the tamer addressed the Wizardmon more intently, "So about this mysterious city thing... can you please tell us what do you know so far about it, like the residents, the place itself, anything?"
It was best to try and get things out of the way first and foremost.

Post by Colin, Luke & Bellamy on Jun 19, 2020 12:25:10 GMT
It had been on one of their routine scout flights over the digital world that had drawn their attention. Aboard the airship mercenary digimon Daedalus the Heliodramon, Colin James and his partners Luke the Elecmon and Bellamy the Impmon saw the pillar of light rise up over the Western Flatlands.
It drew their attention of course, and as they made their observations, their discomfort increased rapidly. Just... what were these machine digimon trying to do?
When he had seen enough, Colin had communicated with his sister about this new information and what he should do. Sophie took a long time to reply, but after a few minutes, her words returned.
"I think you should investigate this, Colin. I trust you and your partners' capabilities. There's some serious moves being made in the digital world at this time from what I can see, and I think it would be best if you were there to observe it for AEGIS's sake. Although, for our family's sake, don't you dare take risks."
Colin made his reply in the affirmative, then turned to his partners. "Looks like we're doing some scouting here." he said.
"Hopefully it's nothing too bad..." Luke replied, anxiously.
"Eh, either way, hopefully it'll be interesting." Bellamy answered. The twin digimon equipped themselves with their usual adventuring gear - belts around their waist, with a cross-belt across their chest to secure a leather shoulder pauldron bearing their crests. When Daedalus landed outside one of the mine entrances, Colin thanked him for his services, then bade him leave to continue his air transport work. Given that this would take place underground, there was little prospect of Daedalus being needed here.
On the ground, Colin checked his D-Terminal, and sure enough, there was a message from a Wizardmon calling out for help. So, he supposed that would be the best place to begin to ask about this place.
As they made their way toward him, Luke quickly surmised that they were in some old Digizoid mines. "Ooh, I read about these places once!" the Elecmon exclaimed. "Digizoid mining was once a really big part of this area, but, the deeper the digimon mined, the worse were the dangers..."
"Hrm. That gives me a bit of a bad feeling." Colin remarked in response. Especially when something this big had emerged so suddenly. Perhaps it was something of a breakthrough in the mines below?
Eventually they encountered the greeting party. Immediately they saw three familiar figures.
"Oh hey, it's Kenny and Skadi!" Bellamy exclaimed as he saw the human and sheep-like digimon. "And... is that Mae?"
"Huh... yeah, it seems like it is." Luke concurred. The last they had seen her, she had been a Keramon, where they had met in the depths of the Timberlands, which had been something of an... experience, for sure. "Hey there!" he called to them.
As they joined up, they seemed eager to catch up, but first, their priority was to speak to the client of this mission - Wizardmon.
"Hey there. I'm Colin James, from AEGIS, and these are my partners Luke and Bellamy. We're here to work with you in this... event." he felt he had no other words.

Silence didn’t immediately hear about what had occurred in the desert. In fact she had been unaware of the fact up until a messenger arrived at her doorstep. Applauding her decision to sign up with the luminas military. While they still didn’t know where they were going to put her they had decided that she should offer support to an individual already enroute.
Someone she had an odd feeling about hearing the name of; but that didn’t seem to matter too much to the one delivering the message. In fact once they had done so they took off; likely having a busy job as a courier for a rather strained government.
Considering the distance between her and the target location the shutmon decided it would be best to use one of her faster forms or maybe even go with the fact she had a bloody spaceship that could take her the whole way.
But that’d be awkwardly overt; something she wasn’t sure if she should do in the slightest. Debating it for a moment she had to just go with it. Pushing the device to the point of where she was completely sure she’d need to get the engines tuned when she finished this mission.
Stepping out and looking around she’d quickly call in the ship; glad that it could handle such a speed. Cracking her knuckles she’d make her way through the mines; following the orbs and making sure to keep her eyes open.
The first thing that everyone likely would hear of her would be the small clinks of her armor; she took good care of the stuff and made sure that the leather was spaced in just the right way to keep the full plate nice and cushioned. The shutmon stepped past the last orb and glanced around.
She was in the right spot. But it seemed as though she was the last on site. She didn’t recognize the Rasielmon and one of the humans along with the digimon who she figured were their partners. The only pair she did recognize was skadi and kenny; Whom she’d give a small wave to before cracking her neck.
”Name’s Silence. The bosses in luminas decided this would be good enough of a test for me to help with I guess. And it seems I’m the only Knight of the Rose on site today too... Pleased to meet yah all.”
She’d give a small two fingered salute off of her temple before leaning up against the wall. She was ready and raring to go. But she had a single question...
”Is this everyone?”

Leave it to the future-seeing Rasielmon to be the first to arrive!
The Wizardmon stood up, bowing his hat to address a half-annoyed mega, still sipping away at her coffee. "You have the right person, yes. I do have a bit more detail, but the reason I got assigned to this place is because there's not a lot we have to go on. Name's Wizardmon, I'm primarily part of Terminus' Dark Area Research group. But, I just couldn't help but get my nose stuck in this whole mess."
He could explain, but without the rest of the group here, the Wizardmon would end up repeating himself. The next to arrive, the sorcerer was able to hear echoing throughout the mines. Before they'd end up turning the corner, the sorcerer found himself muttering: "A bit boastful, aren't they..."
That remark, he kept quiet enough that Kenny and Skadi wouldn't hear. Rather, the moment they arrived, the Wizardmon was ready to greet them, a smile on the scarecrow's face! "Glad you two could join us! And I can tell you what I know, but I hardly think the welding structure of the west district's solar panels are going to be of much help to us down here - hm?"
Ah, the third group to arrive! A wildcard, one from KIZNA, and one from AEGIS - and though the Wizardmon spared Colin a nod, the research-minded Wizardmon caught more onto Luke's comment than anyone else's! "Honestly, its both a historical marvel and blunder! Early mines out here were simply dug by stronger and stronger Digimon, rather than worrying about the intricacies of it all. When the mines got too deep to push any further, they were held up with supports and abandoned. Occasionally, a few pop up as shelters for bandits hiding out in the deserts, but this time, its a happy coincidence."
With that, one more would join the group, a KOTR member as well as their representative from Luminas.
"Yup, that does make everyone! And I guess now would be a good time to answer the questions I'm able to answer. Let's see... the Rasielmon wanted to know if I knew the cause of this whole thing, and Kenny wanted to know about the city. Reverse order - there's nothing really special about the city itself. A fair number of the machines were desert workers to begin with. The only odd thing I would think is that building a city seems too 'coordinated' for the sort of event that happened. Either this is the cause of a signal transmission putting an idea in the back of their head, or somehow half the machine population of the desert thought it would be a good idea to start a town next to a mysterious steel tower at the same time."
"As to the cause? Its probably located near the base of the tower, and it was either recently planted or something caused something 'ancient' to trigger. Either way, we need to be ready for this to be a wild goose chase. Follow along, let's walk and talk."
With the tip of his staff glowing alight, he'd grasp the top of the stick with a palm, and toss a light over his shoulder, leaving it floating near the back of the group. Like that, he'd lead on even deeper down these caverns, and explain just what they were doing. "Our objective here is to find out just what caused this. We have one group examining the far upper levels of the tower, and its our job to cover the lower levels. Thankfully, it doesn't look like those in the city are aware, but the tower itself cut into the lower levels of the mines. So long as we're able to find a way in through the base, we should be able to... um..."
... The Wizardmon's voice trailed, as he saw the glint of something at the end of the tunnel. There was no data signal, no threat to perceive. In fact, the group would come up on just what they were supposed to find: at the end of this tunnel, they'd see a giant, massive, metallic wall - the outside of the tower - right in front of their faces. It wasn't a surprise that the tower was there - the Wizardmon knew where to navigate, after all - but what was surprising was the form.
"... Could we not be the first ones through this tunnel?"

"Ah...I got sent down here by Luminas. And primarily because I keep getting spooky visions regarding down here."
Wherever one went, more would always follow. This was a saying that always held true during dire circumstances, which this may or may not have been turning out to be. Mae had a sort of sense for that. She regarded Bellamy, Colin, Kenny, Luke and Skadi with a smile that denoted familiarity.
It had been quite some time since she had seen the James and his twins. But what they did for her was something that she was not about to forget anytime soon. The Shutmon, however. She was familiar with an -iteration- of this one.
That was it.
With everybody present, the operation could commence with Wizardmon answering some questions. Mae gave a nod of her head as she took a moment to process what it was she was being told. Machines built a city suddenly. Next to a mysterious tower of steel. ...Yeah, this was going to be something best gone through with walking and talking. She followed the Wizardmon, keeping an eye out for anything out of place.
"There is a chance that we might not be..." She replied, squinting. "Do we need to blow a hole through or can we even navigate around this...?" Hm. Already, the Rasielmon decided to try looking into the future. What ways could there be around this metal end?

Already from the moment they stepped in, the duo could already feel a sense of camaraderie between all of their teammates, from Mae's kindly smile the moment she recognised them, to the arrival of Colin and his twin Digimont, to the mighty Silence, the albino werewolf with a heart of gold. And the two couldn't help but have their own small, but warm smile on their faces. They trusted them; these people had their backs, and those two were more than determined to ensure they'd return the favour in some way.
Colin was a special case for these two. They were the exact same triad that managed to patch the young man up after the Arkadimon attack at Miyashita park last year, back when Kenny was still yet to find his feet as a tamer himself. And time had certainly treated them nicely; their adventures over the past year had them learn and grow with fellow tamers and Digimon, putting a lot of experience under their belt, and achieving a lot of amazing things.
Hopefully, they'd get to show them everything they learned so far.
For now, that had to wait. And the two would simply listen to the Wizardmon's explanation. From what they could understand, a mysterious pillar had up and attached the metallic residents of the Folder Desert towards it, seemingly brainwashing them into building this city near it. Already, that uneasy feeling hanging above them only grew the more they listened, but neither were willing to show it.
Rather, they'd just follow the Wizardmon like the rest of the group, and already Mae raised a very good point as they reached the wall; what were they to do, honestly? Blow open a hole or try to navigate the place to somewhere else? "Honestly, I'd try to play it safe and not to draw their attention too much with whatever we do." Kenny shrugged, "Apart from the typing, we, or at least, Skadi and I, don't really know what sort of Digimon might be out there."
"And we just started too," Skadi chimed in, "We don't want to just waste our time and energy dealing with a threat we could simply avoid if we play our cards right." Kenny could only nod in agreement with that. They knew rushing in would cause a whole world of problems. For now, they would simply just opt to play it safe.

Luke was somewhat delighted by the fact that the Wizardmon had heard his comments and further expanded upon them. "Ahh, that's interesting. And makes sense." he said, this information aligning with what he had studied in Colin's father's engineering books. The deeper mines were dug, the more pressure was weighed down on the support pillars, and more effort had to be invested in to prevent cave-ins. Of course the deeper mines would suffer collapses as they were abandoned, and the shallower ones simply be refuge for bandits.
Luke and Bellamy's ears twitched when they heard the new arrival announced themselves as "Silence". For a moment they thought Tadayoshi had changed his mind and joined them, but in fact this was a new digimon that they hadn't met before. They greeted her in return.
Well then, that seemed to be the band gathered. The trio listened to what was being said so far. What Wizardmon said was logical, there didn't seem to be much to this city at first glance, but of course the speed in which it appeared was something of concern.
With the introductions complete, they followed Wizardmon into the mines, figuring that their purpose here was to find out exactly how this civilization appeared so quickly.
They then found their first point of interest - a metallic wall. Bellamy blinked with confusion as Wizardmon seemed to be bothered by it, but Luke recognized what was troubling their guide. He saw that this place had seen recent use. The wall was newly formed, that was evident. Colin took Luke's inquisitive frown as an opportunity to contribute to the conversation.
"So, what should we do here? Investigate the wall for an opening? Look for another way around? Or try and blowtorch our way through?" Colin nodded toward Luke at that last point. "Luke could do the latter option if we need to if I evolve him to his Ultimate form, but it'd cause a lot of flashy sparks."
He'd wait to hear the opinions of the others in the party.

Hearing that everyone was here put silence at ease; as small of a group as this was she harbored very little doubts when it came to their overall effectiveness. For one she knew that Kenny and skadi could handle themselves just fine; one of their number was trotting around as a raisielmon and for whatever reason Colin and his partners seemed familiar. Maybe she had heard about them at some point or another?
Then again she never really did care for the rumour mills that ran through the digital world. It was almost impossible to figure out the truth from lies in them after all! She’d rub at her chin as the Wizardmon explained what was what. She didn’t have much to say at the moment; instead deigning to listen to what everyone had to say.
They were here to find out what caused this and hearing that there were other groups trying to figure out the varying ‘problems’ as it made her wonder what would happen if they ran into one of these groups? That would be interesting given the circumstances of why they were here!
Arriving at the wall the shutmon looked it up and down.
One suggestion seemed to blow it apart; one she somewhat agreed with. Another was to be careful so that they didn’t draw too much attention to themselves. Given the situation? Letting the machines know that they were down here would likely yield some… strange results. If not a bit chaotic.
Silence looked the wall up and down, she didn’t touch it and had a few ideas here. There was the option of blowing it up, cutting through it and the like but she had one last suggestion…
”Blast it open, cut it down. Both are good options. But both will take time and be louder than we want. I could just freeze it to the point where it’s super brittle and one of you just breaks it like a mirror.”
Silence shrugged a bit and put her hands on her hips; staring at the wall in front of them. Sure she could use OmegaShutmon but using super mega for everything wasn’t always the solution. Did she enjoy the form? Yes. But would it basically be giving away their position immediately? Also yes.

"It might not be as difficult as blasting the wall open."
Addressing Colin and Silence first, the sorcerer carefully moved closer to the wall. "Think about it. As far as we know, the tower sprouted up from a pillar of light shooting out from the ground. It intersected with these mines, yes - but consider what that means for a second. What should this place look like if something sprung up that suddenly?"
"Why are we seeing the Tower at all, rather than several inches of stone - or even any debris or gravel from where the ground was broken up?" The Wizardmon doubled-down on his previous observation, but at this point, didn't put an answer into anyone's mouths. Placing his glove against the wall of the tower, the Wizardmon considered their options.
Presumably, whoever was here first would have have been able to get past this wall, without breaking it.
"... Putting that thought on hold for now, let's consider what options we have to get past this. I would prefer not having to use physical force, but between the lot of you, does anyone have the ability to create a portal? A D-Arc one might not suffice, since we can't see the exit point, but we just need to 'picture' an exit about ten feet beyond this wall."
In fact, such a technique did exist on the team - and perhaps Wizardmon's comment, in that moment, would have impacted Mae's vision as she peered into the short-term future.
The then-Rasielmon would see herself touching down inside, just on the other side of the portal, the sensation of strange cold metal on her feet. As she'd step out, the rest of the group would follow right behind her, into that initial room. It was difficult to make out exactly what the purpose of this area was, though, as the corner looked to be loaded with electrical equipment...
... None of which looked natural to the tower itself. No, this tower wasn't constructed like those in the modern Digital World, and it didn't have any concepts of 'rooms' or 'organization'. They'd be in a room encompassing the entire floor, a ramp ascending upwards to their left and downwards to the right. The only natural light in the entire floor was that of Digital Script written along its walls, in what looked to be long, confusing computer code, the characters pulsing faintly with energy.

Hm.
For a dead end, a lot of solutions were being pitched at this moment. That much, Mae could tell, even while she was in the process of divining something viable. Though, whether Wizardmon would comment or not, she felt it would have not changed what it was that she had seen. "There's definitely a way across. I've seen it. We just need a portal, as Wizardmon said. And if the Digiport won't suffice..."
Then she would improvise. She had her own, she could absolutely be called a master of her own damn technique by now. The Rasielmon put a claw forth and closed her eyes in focus, once more. Unto a proverbial breach.
"So, really, it's another way around. Blowtorching or freezing it open should be last ditch efforts if this doesn't work." With that, Mae would put all her focus into her Spatial Relocation ability.
This wasn't it's superior version, the Spatial Causeway, but it was still a tried and true instrument in the Rasielmon's arsenal. Ten feet beyond. That was the specifications for a portal like that.
Now, what would occur?

Everyone was pretty much spitballing suggestions left and right, figuring out what to do to this wall. Blow it up? Freeze the wall so it'd be no stronger than a soggy cracker? How did the tower end up the way it did, anyways? Would destroying the wall, period, cause alarm? But the two would turn to look up at Mae as she threw her own hat into the ring, and simply took a step back to let her work her magic.
There wasn't exactly much either could do for now, except wait to see if it worked. Right now, Skadi lightly tugged on the Wizardmon's cape in a bid to grab his attention as she looked up at him, "If it's not too much trouble, I could armour evolve into my SilverGrademon form so I can serve as intel, if that's OK with you? I can turn invisible, and pass through walls. I think that could be a huge help to us to figure out what's going on inside once we get in." Her tone sounded encouraging and promising, not just to the Wizardmon, but to the rest of the group as well.
Kenny stepped in to add his own two cents, "I can easily attest to that. That form's best for utility and stealth for her. Because, let's face facts, her actual Perfect form isn't exactly winning any awards for subtly." He casually joked to him. It was best to milk some levity while he still could.
Chances were that they weren't seeing much more where they were going.
Other than that? They just waited, and had the portal emerged, they'd follow Mae and the rest of the group through. Nothing much more to say about that. But a big lingering question still lay in the two's heads:
What lay beyond the wall?

Post by Colin, Luke & Bellamy on Jun 24, 2020 13:23:32 GMT
Luke took Silence's option in thought, wondering if it could be possible. Yes, rapidly heating and cooling a metal alloy could make it become brittle enough to easily break, but, the consensus wasn't yet set.
He, Colin and Bellamy listened to what Wizardmon had to say on the subject. He put forth the possibility that they didn't need to break through this wall at all - given how this tower had appeared so suddenly, others had possibly managed to break through without force and activated what was within. That made the trio think for a moment.
Wizardmon asked if any of them had the ability to make portals. Not the ones from digivices that linked them to home bases in the digital world or the human world - portals that would allow transport between the immediate vicinity and the unknown. "My digivice doesn't have that ability." Colin admitted when asked.
However, it seemed that Mae did have such an ability. All Colin, Luke and Bellamy could do was watch as she attempted it.
"Whew, if this works, can think of askin' Mae if she can help us out with similar stuff." Bellamy mused.
"Bells, not now, please." Luke asked his brother, sweatdropping.
Then they listened as Skadi and Kenny attested to Skadi's evolved form's abilities, which sounded very useful.
"Huh, that sounds pretty impressive, I'll admit." Colin remarked. "With us, our abilities down here are mainly limited to firepower and healing. So we'll go with how you guys decide to deal with this for now."
Luke and Bellamy had nothing to object to that, so for now, they went with the plan to follow the others through Mae's portal, bracing themselves for whatever laid ahead. However, Bellamy had another thing to add.
"Also we got the ability to use stealth if needed." he added. "AEGIS has been studyin' holosuit tech since it was founded, so, if the need arises, the three of us can go invisible if we need to. Only works on visual senses, but, just lettin' you guys know we can do that."

”...That means it goes down further. Or… hmm.”
Silence mulled this over and stared at the wall of the tower. There were a plethora of things that this could mean and she wasn’t sure which one she believed. She’d grit her teeth and eventually just pushed it to one side. She didn’t have something in this form that would work… or something that was small enough in the higher forms.
”I don’t have anything like that unfortunately.”
The shutmon blinked as Mae brought forth the fact that they should leave the physical solutions to the last ditch effort. Which the shutmon didn’t entirely disagree with; but she also didn’t really know what mae or the twins were working with.
But given the fact a portal was made for them? Well.
She could hardly argue against the results. She’d turn her head to kenny and skadi; as they added their own bits to it. They had forms that could serve as intel and would be able to help them figure out what’s going on inside? She’d raise her brows and ran a thoughtful claw under her chin.
Bellamy added in another thing with them having stealth as well; unfortunately the shutmon didn’t have anything stealthy in that way… But she did have the meicrackmon form which would play hell with everyone’s senses. The further away she was the worse it was to keep track of her. She’d consider that venue for a moment and step through that portal.
”I don’t know if splitting up is a good idea; especially here. But with the four of you being able to hide yourselves in such a manner...
She’d turn her head to mae and the wizardmon before nodding her head.
”The three of us could ease forward while the others gather intel on the locale. The more we know about the area the better. That and they can warn us about any patrols, traps or the like before we get there. I don’t have anything that’s quite as sneaky as invisibility or passing through walls but It’s definitely good at hiding.”
The shutmon gave a small wry grin and folded her arms. The gentle clinking of her armor reminding the lot that she was much more of a bruiser than a sneak!
