This was quickly looking like the end for Luna, surrounded by three champion level digimon she was completely outnumbered, even in her champion form she couldn't keep up with three at once. She had tried to make a quick exit but they had blocked her path. Wounded and her healing field still charging Luna started panicking at this situation, they didn't seem like the type to let her reincarnate. Closing her eyes she waited for the end to come. "Sorry Dust, guess I won't be seeing you again after all." holding her eyes shut as they all charged attacks eventually they hit her, she heard them hit at least but felt nothing at all. Slowly she opened her eyes and lo and behold she was fine, not just fine but she seemed back at full strength.
All three looked dumbfounded at her before rushing at her again, but now that she was at full strength and they were a bit tired she ended up pulling out the win knocking the three of them down. Stretching after the fight letting her healing move do it's job she wondered what that whole healing thing was about. Ever since she reformed she had obtained new moves like her dark barrier technique. Thinking it was just like that she decided to ignore it for now and just be glad she didn't bite the big one.
Eventually her travels led her to the valley of the dragons. She was cautious as she crept around the area looking for the item her friend had lost down here, eventually she found it. A small locket of personal importance to the wearer. Holding it tight she started to go back the way she came, only to be knocked to the side by a large Examon who had been dormant in a large cave nearby, just the tail was enough to send Luna flying down the valley towards her demise.
Having her eyes closed as she waited for the impact she wondered how long it was going to take, opening them once again she was again surprised to see she was totally unharmed despite the great fall. Checking herself she did seem to be totally ok with the whole thing. Sitting up she wondered how it was possible she wasn't dying. Thinking back to this past week she thought about what she had done. Taken a job for an old friend, hung out around the clubs around whitewater. Sold her digi core to that one large scary digimon for trail fair. Nope she couldn't figure out just what was going on.
However despite the weirdness of the situation, Luna decided it would be a great idea to take an advantage on the fact she couldn't die. About a day or two later Luna found herself in the colosseum, challenging Digimon one and all to fight her for prize money. If they delete her they get it, if she knocks them out she wins. All challengers accepted. Ultimate, Mega and even some Super Mega level digimon came from all around figuring it would be an easy fight to destroy Luna, they were quickly proven wrong however as despite their massive power advantage against her they couldn't strike the killing blow. She'd fizzle out for a moment then be right back to continue fighting. Many a bet was made that day and many digimon lost their hard earned bits to the now Immortal digimon.
Eventually hearing about the challenge the Royal knights themselves showed up to challenge her to a bout, not one to disappoint Luna fought them with everything she had and, well she actually technically lost against them. While they couldn't delete her that's true, she couldn't exactly damage them either so eventually the fight ended up as a tie just so people could go home. "Well, at least I got 'fighting a royal knight' off my bucket list." that was easily the best thing about this situation, aside from the fact she was now uber rich thanks to all the bets people made and lost, and the entrance fees even with the money she had to give to the colosseum owner she made out like a bandit.
"Hmm, what else? Immortality in my grasp and I can't think of anything else to do." she had money now, a lot of fame. Honestly there was only one thing left to do. Test the limits of this immortality thing. First off being pissing off Yggdrasil. However as she got to the gates leading to the godly digimon she quickly turned heel and walked away. "What am I thinking that is a terrible idea." deciding to skip doing that she went to her second best idea to test the limits of this thing.
JUMPING INTO AN ACTIVE VOLCANO! eventually after many hours trying to find the place again she ended up right back at the spears of megido. Standing on the edge of the volcano Luna held a pose before jumping in like an Olympic diver heading straight for the lava, to which she burned almost immediately and respawned back on top of the volcano. "Alright so it brings me back to the last safe place, good to know." making a mental note in her head as she slid back down heading towards the beach.
As she did though she was once again approached by the same scary looking hooded digimon she got money for the train from, didn't look like any digimon she knew more just like the regular old grim reaper. "Hey? Are you the one who gave me immortality?" she asked heading over. "I did what now?" Luna then explained what had gone on the past few days to the stranger. "Oh, whoops yeah that was me, I meant just to steal your digicore but I guess I accidentally gave you immortality alongside that, here you can have your core back so long as you let me remove that immortality." He offered holding his skeletal hand out, Luna mused it over a bit, on one hand that was the center of her being, on the other being immortal kicks major butt. "Suppose being immortal doesn't matter if my friends ain't, alright fine you got a deal." shaking his hand she felt something return to her chest, back where it belonged. Afterwards the reaper Like thing vanished without a trace.
Luna laying on her bed back at the White water Inn suddenly woke up with a start, shaking her head she looked around the area, it was still night out as she had been sleeping for a while. "Ugh my head. Was I dreaming about something?" checking the time it was still far too early for her to be getting up, quickly laying back down she forgot all about the strange dream she just had. She had to stop listening to crazy human stories about some grim reapy thing.
