As Nanami entered the clock store she wasn't sure what she was expecting. She wanted to know what kind of clocks there would be like in the Digital World, and she was... kind of disappointed. When she walked in she saw the shelves full of ticking clocks, so much that the noise drowned out everything else in the store. "Excuse me, but I'm looking for an alarm clock so I can wake up easier in the morning!" Nanami called out to the vendor. It was some humanoid shape in a red hood that stuck out a golden machine body that of course, looked like a clock. "What's that, young human lady? I can't quite hear you over all the sounds of the clocks!" He shouted back. "I said, I was looking for a clock to purchase!" Nanami practically screamed. The clock Digimon nodded and waved his hand around the entire store. "Well you've come to the right place! Take a look around!" Nanami has had some trouble waking up lately. Plus Cream and Mocha were getting lazier by the day. And Mu-kun's version of waking people up... wasn't exactly healthy for the heart. Apparently it had something to do with her ninja training. But if Nanami could get an alarm clock set up then all the problems would be solved! So, the little girl perused the shelves until she saw one that stuck out to her. A gold clock that gave off a shimmering light. It's hands were going backwards for some reason, but that just meant she could set it backwards, right? She was sure that Cream someone would figure it out. Picking up the clock, she turned around to head over to the desk! But then she found the Clock Digimon standing next to her, gazing down at her with harsh eyes. "YOU FOOL!!!" He yelled out, grabbing Nanami's head on both sides. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!" "I absolutely don't!" Nanami shouted back, thoroughly confused. "What did I do wrong!" "You grabbed the one clock in the store that was cursed! Your fate has been... unsealed!" "That doesn't sound like a bad thing!" Nanami shouted back. "YOU FOOL!!!" The machine Digimon repeated. "By unsealing your fate, you are doomed to walk this life for all of eternity! You shall live forever now, unbound by the flow of time and the fabric of reality!" "I have no idea what you're talking about, but I still don't understand how that's a bad thing!" "We have no choice! I must send you to another dimension, otherwise your existence itself will pose a threat to reality!" The clock Digimon shoved its hooded head just millimetres from Nanami's face. "Okay, you're using a lot words I've heard before, but I don't quite understand what you're trying to tell me!" She answered honestly. "SILENCE!!! Nothing you say shall dissuade me!" His eyes glowed with a red aura as they swirled around in circles, hypnotizing the person in front of her. "Chrono-Jono-Bono-Ohno!" "That's a really silly chant!" She cried out before she was consumed by light. "Hey... can you hear me? Are you still okay?" Nanami heard a young girl's voice, then felt someone shake her shoulder. "Mmn... Five more minutes..." She answered, turning over to her side. But something was odd. Her voice seemed a little odd, like she had gotten a dose of helium, or something. "You shouldn't sleep in so much! Everyone else is waking up!" The young girl shook Nanami a little more violently, forcing her to open her eyes to see a little child no older than five years old. She had pink hair like Nanami, but hers was a darker shade with much lighter shade around the bangs. Her hair was tied up into pigtails and she stared back at Nanami with a fierce glare as she placed her tiny hands on her hips. She tilted her head towards "everyone else". A group of kids were stirring themselves. Two more girls and one boy, all the same age as the girl waking Nanami up. She stood up, then realized something strange. She was about as tall as the other pink-haired girl. "Wow... for such a little girl, you're really tall!!" "What are you talking about!?" The other girl asked confused. "You're just as tall as I am! And I'm guessing you're in the same boat as all of us!" "This isn't a boat, silly!" Nanami replied, looking around her for the first time. It seemed to be an average, if a little smaller than what she was used to living room. Carpeted floors, a coffee table near the center of the room with two comfortable cushioned chairs on its smaller ends while a larger couch was across the coffee table. Across the room was an entertainment center with... nothing in there. It was just a bunch of hollow slots. Not far from them was a short hallway with a door to the end. A stand holding a bunch of tiny shoes was rested next to the door. Behind Nanami was a longer hallway with four closed doors. To her left the carpet became tiling and into a space where she presumed a kitchen was at. "Where... what is this going on...?" One of the girls suddenly muttered out. She had medium-length, light brown hair and bright blue eyes. Her facial features and skin tone were definitely western in origin, and though she was speaking in Japanese, her pronunciation was slightly off. She suddenly put on a shocked face as she clutched her throat. "And why is my voice sounding different than is usual!?" "It's happened to all of us!" The magenta-haired girl explain. "All of us look really young, but I'm actually fifteen-years old!" "Oh my, but I am seventeen!" The brunette girl complained. "This body is not being acceptable for my tastes!" "Your tastes? What the hell exactly is that supposed to mean?" A girl with strawberry-blond hair sat up with her arms crossed. She had a scowl on her face and didn't seem very friendly. "It is no good for a mature girl to be in a body like this, no?" The westerner responded. "It is probably many crimes if I went around and tried to-""A-anyway, if we're all stuck here, we should at the very least introduce ourselves!" Magenta-hair suddenly stated. "I'll start! My name is Nijimura Honoka! I'm a first-year high school student!" "And I'm Hanabana Nanami!" Nanami followed up, raising her hand excitedly. "I'm thirteen, and I'm a first-year junior high student! Oh, if that seems weird, that's 'cuz I was held back a year!" "And I am Arissa Melodie Moreau!" The brown-haired girl introduced herself western-style. "I do not go to school, but I am seventeen years-old! But I was already telling of that!" "Airi," The strawberry-blond-haired girl spoke up quietly. "Just Airi. No point in saying anything else." At that point, the one boy simply waved to the girls and gave a smile. "And I'm Darklance Bludsteele! But my friends call me Lance! I sure wish I don't have to get to know you!" He spouted such mean words so kindly. "Wow! And I thought Arissa Melodie Moreso was a fancy name!" Nanami exclaimed, the boy's mean words washing over her like water off a duck's back. "That's because it's obviously fake!" Airi exclaimed like Nanami was an idiot. "Nope! It's definitely my real name!" Lance answered her. He stood up and looked around. "So we should just stand around and do nothing, shouldn't we?" "Oh, things certainly seem to be strange..." Arissa noted. "I am not having an idea as why we are all children... This is certainly a strange dream I am having. A talking clock grabs me and shouts at me, and now this..." "No way! That's how I got here, too!" Nanami gasped. "You were captured by the Clockmon, too?" Honoka asked. "So... did he spout a bunch of nonsense about... fate and dimensions?" "He said that I was supposed to live forever, too..." Airi added with a thoughtful expression. "So... does that have anything with us becoming younger?" "Wait, so does that mean we're gonna be little kids for the rest of... forever?" Honoka exclaimed. "I know that a little extra free time comes in handy, but this is just ridiculous!" "I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about!" Lance said with a grave look on his face. "We should just forget all about it and think about other things right now!" "He''s right!" Nanami exclaimed. "It's not like I can understand any of that stuff anyway, so we should all just take a look around, first!" "It is strange that we are all in the house right now..." Arissa commented. She looked around and shrugged. "And there are no windows, anywhere! This is strange!" "Hmm... Then how about this? We'll all look take a look around this house and meet back up here in a bit to discuss our findings!" Honoka suggested in a tone that seemed more like an order. "Wait, why do you get to boss us around like that?" Airi responded. "And do you have any better ideas?" Honoka replied with a glare. "Not yet, but..." "Then until you think of one, how about we just go along with my plan?" Once again, her question didn't sound like a question. "I'm gonna go slack off in the kitchen!" Lance stated, making his way towards the tiled floors. "You better not slack off!" Honoka shouted back, but Lance only waved back at her without turning around. "And I will be checking those rooms!" Arissa exclaimed with a strangely excited tone. She let out a playful giggle. "Maybe I'll discover something super embarrassing about the owners of previous!" "Honoka! Let's go check out some of the rooms, too!" Nanami grabbed Honoka's hand and dragged her towards one of the rooms in the hallway. She opened up the door to reveal a bedroom with a bunk bed and a small dresser. There was a closet with a sliding door off on the side. "Hey look, Honoka! Bunk beds!" Nanami raced towards it, climbing the ladder in an instant and plopping down in an instant. "Dibs on the top one!" "We shouldn't be focusing on what beds we want to sleep in, Nanami-chan!" Honoka protested. "We should be focusing on knowing what's going around in our surroundings!" "Eh? But shouldn't we focus on having fun, first?" Nanami asked. "I don't really get what's going on, but it doesn't seem like we're in any danger right? So we should just focus on having a fun time!" "That's just plain irresponsible!" Honoka protested, pointing towards the pink-haired girl with the high ground. "We don't know who this house belongs to, and if the owners come home, then we could be in a lot of trouble! Especially if we're in the bodies of little kids! How are we supposed to explain... all this... to our families!?" "We don't really gotta explain it, since they'll be able to see us, right? I wouldn't worry about stuff so much!" She let out a playful giggle, but then a thought came to her mind. "Hey, Honoka! That clock Digimon was talking about living forever or something, right?""I think he was saying something like that, but I couldn't really understand it through all the weird stuff he was telling me..." Honoka admitted. "So if you did live forever, what would you do?" Nanami leaned over to stared down towards the other pink-haired girl. "What would I do? What kind of... I mean, that's kind of a hard question to ask, isn't it?" "Really? I think it's kinda easy! 'Cause if I could really live forever, here's what I would do..."
The jungle was wrought with danger from dangerous snakes, poisonous frogs, and scary-looking trees. But a single girl hacked through the vegetation with a machete- Actually, that sounds kind of mean to the plants, so I'm not gonna do that!Wait, you're revising your story already!?D-don't worry about it! It'll still be fun... I think! The jungle was wrought with danger from dangerous snakes, poisonous frogs, and really scary-looking trees with branches that looked like they were gonna give to an evil hug! Wait... what's an evil hug? That's when, like, some stranger at the hospital finds out about your condition, and gives you a hug even though you really don't want one!Hospital? Condition? What... what kind of life do you live!?But a single girl... Wait, I have a better idea!
TWO girls made their way through the vegetation, careful not to disrupt the harmony of the jungle. They were a young girl with light pink hair, and another girl with magenta hair. Hold on one second! Are you involving me in some silly fantasy story?Yep! I mean, it's better to do stuff with your friends, right?Anyways, as they trekked through the jungle, they suddenly came across a big jungle ruins! "Look Honoka the jungle ruins is right there!" said Nanami while pointing to the jungle ruins. "I hope we can find the treasure!" said Honoka. "Don't worry there is always treasure in places like this!" said Nanami. So Nanami and Honoka climbed their way up to top of the ruins and dropped down into the inside. It was dark and scary but Nanami and Honoka had big flashlights so they weren't scared. "Look Nanami there's a secret entrance!" said Honoka. Honoka pointed to a secret entrance. Nanami and Honoka went through the secret entrance to find a darker and scarier tunnel. But Nanami and Honoka had even bigger flashlights so they weren't scared. "Look Honoka there's some treasure!" said Nanami. Nanami pointed to a golden crown across a big chasm, so they jumped across it and grabbed the treasure. But then a giant boulder came tumbling down and started chasing the two! So Nanami and Honoka jumped down into the chasm while the boulder rolled across it. They were falling really far and it was super scary, but then Mocha and Cream came and managed to parachute them to safety! Wait... we got saved by... coffee!?No, silly! Mocha and Cream are my friends! They have big ears that can make a parachute! So you're talking about your Digimon partners, then!Umm... sorry to change the story so much, but I want to make one last change, okay?Nanami and Honoka weren't alone, though! Mu-kun was there, along with Airi, and Arissa, and Lance, and all of their partners and friends as well! And each and every one of them had their own Mocha and Cream to parachute them to safety! "Anyways, that's what I'd do if I could live forever!" A starry-eyed Nanami exclaimed. Honoka looked up towards the girl with a strange expression that was half-concern, half-curiosity. "So you'd just... go around finding treasure for all of time?" She asked a little skeptically. "Yep!" "So what happens when you run out of treasure to find?" Honoka asked. "Hmm? Oh, I guess if I live forever, I'd be bound to find it all, wouldn't I..." The girl crossed her arms and thought for a second. "Well... then I would hide away all of my treasure, and then all my friends could go find it!" She suddenly blurted out. "And then when my friends get all the treasure, they can hide it, so then I can find it again! It'll be fun forever and ever!" Then Nanami realized something, and climbed down from the top bunk and grasped Honoka's hand. "But we can't hang around here any longer, Honoka! We gotta find a way to get out of here and find all our friends again, okay?" She then proceeded to skip out of the room. "That's what I was trying to tell you!" She heard Honoka call out from behind her.

Sadly, the only thing she could think to get for Naoki's birthday was a new alarm clock. Her youngest older brother just couldn't wake up at a decent time anymore, and lately it had been getting out of hand. He wouldn't even wake up until ten-thirty! On a Sunday! It was clear that he needed a little more discipline in his life, so if her father wasn't going to do it, a heartfelt gift from his little sister was going to have to do it.
Still, she didn't want to get him just any clock. She she decided to check out something exotic from the Digital World. After all, if he finds a clock that he can't quite identify, it's not like he'd be able to sell it online or whatever. Though if he did, she might get in a lot of trouble. Apparently bringing stuff in from the Digital World was frowned upon by some authorities but just a little clock couldn't hurt, right?
So Honoka walked into the store, bowing politely to the front clerk. He looked like a man stuck inside of a clock, but he didn't look uncomfortable, so she figured he was supposed to be that way. Digimon could be weird sometimes.
That's Clockmon... they can be really weird and dangerous sometimes, so watch out! She heard Lily speak out inside her mind.
"I'll make note of that..." She muttered, though she couldn't be heard over the sound of the ticking clocks. She looked through the shelves until she found one that stood out. She turned around, and Clockmon was standing right there.
But then she found the Clock Digimon standing next to her, gazing down at her with harsh eyes. "YOU FOOL!!!" He yelled out, grabbing Honoka's head on both sides. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!"
"I'm sorry!" Honoka apologized immediately, though she in fact, did not realize what she had done. Was she supposed to have not taken it off the shelf?
"You grabbed the one clock in the store that was cursed! Your fate has been... unsealed!"
"Then I'll put it back right away!" Honoka replied, but the Clockmon didn't release his grip on the girl. She debated Spirit Evolving and making the Clockmon let go, but she would wait to see what he was going to say, first.
"YOU FOOL!!!" The machine Digimon repeated. "By unsealing your fate, you are doomed to walk this life for all of eternity! You shall live forever now, unbound by the flow of time and the fabric of reality!"
"That sounds like a bunch of nonsense! Why would you put something so dangerous in a place so accessible!?"
"We have no choice! I must send you to another dimension, otherwise your existence itself will pose a threat to reality!" The clock Digimon shoved its hooded head just millimetres from Honoka's face.
"Okay, you're getting a little too close! I don't care if this is your property, back off or I'm gonna-"
"SILENCE!!! Nothing you say shall dissuade me!" His eyes glowed with a red aura as they swirled around in circles, hypnotizing the person in front of her. "Chrono-Jono-Bono-Ohno!"
"What the... what is... going on..." Her consciousness began to faded as she was consumed by the light.
"That's what I was trying to tell you!" Honoka shouted out after the other pink-haired girl left the room. Honoka took a minute to rub her temples. The girl seemed like a sweetheart, but she really had a tendency to move on her own time! Well, at least she was gonna look around instead of telling stories. But... things certainly seemed strange.
They were all turned into little kids for some unknown reason... and according to the Clockmon they were all messing with time? Honoka didn't really understand all this sci-fi stuff but... they were forced to become children in order to prevent... what, exactly? All of this mumbo-jumbo confused the girl to no end, but she needed to shake it off! She wasn't exactly sure how or why she got put in this situation, but it didn't mean that they couldn't get out of it if they tried! So first and foremost, they had to explore the house and see what was up! Exiting the bedroom and hallway, she found Airi standing on the tips of her toes while tinkering with the front door. She was muttering something under her breath, and from what few words Honoka could hear, it was clear that Airi might be a little older than the rest of the group.
"So, what exactly are you up to?" Honoka asked the girl out of curiosity. Airi gave the girl a glance, then went back to tinkering with the doorknob. Wait... was she trying to pick the lock?
"Something seem strange to you?" Airi asked as she was holding a set of hairpins, and adjusting them into the key-slot. Honoka noted that she didn't actually answer her question.
"Not really, it just looks like a regular door..." She noted, but after thinking about it she realized what was up. "Wait... isn't this door facing the wrong way? The part where you put the key in is supposed to be on the outside, while the part where you can lock the door should be on the inside!"
Airi simply grunted in confirmation as she kept her focus on the challenge ahead of her. "That's not all," She muttered in frustration. "Something about this door is weird."
"What else is weird about it?" Honoka asked. She wasn't an expert on... doors, but this girl seemed to have some experience.
"I can pick a lock like this with my eyes closed, but for some reason this one is... The pins aren't seizing..." Airi glanced at Honoka almost dismissively. "So unless you think you can give me any lock-picking tips, stop bothering me."
Honoka wasn't sure what to say to that. It wasn't like she could help Airi out with her little illegal endeavor, and though she certainly questioned why Airi had such a talent, questioning it at this moment probably wasn't the smartest play right now. "Then I'll leave you to it, then. Umm... good luck, I guess..." Was all she could reply with.
"Not supposed to need it..." Airi replied while keeping her focus on the door in front of her. "But thanks."
Honoka moved over towards the kitchen, where she found Lance, Nanami, and Arissa all gathered around a refrigerator. Each one was holding a partially-eaten strawberry. "Are you three serious right now? You're snacking at a time like this?"
"We are making the investigate through this fridge!" Arissa answered, taking one more bite out of her strawberry.
"Honoka, look! We found something really cool!" Nanami cried out, opening up the fridge and pulling out a single strawberry. She handed it to Honoka, but the magenta-haired girl didn't accept the offer.
"We have no idea whose food this belongs to, or even if it's safe to eat!" She protested. "And besides, you should wash off your produce before you start eating it!"
"That's not what we wanted to show you! Look!" Nanami protested. She opened up the fridge again and pulled out another strawberry. "You see?"
"All I see is another strawberry! What's so fantastic about that?" Honoka replied. She looked inside the fridge to find... surprisingly little. There was a full gallon of milk, some fruit and vegetables, eggs, pre-made rice, lunch-meat and sliced cheese... perhaps a little basic, but nothing out of the ordinary. Except... "The last strawberry, apparently..." She commented.
"For now!" Arissa commented. She closed the door to the fridge and then opened it back up again. The contents were the same, save for a single strawberry near the front of the top shelf. "Every time we take something out, it comes back whenever we are opening it the back up!"
"And there isn't anything else!" Lance proclaimed with a smile.
"Silly Lance! Of course there is!" Nanami answered the boy while giggling. She placed the strawberry meant for Honoka back into the fridge and closed it. "'Cause if you put something inside the fridge, and then open it again..." Inside the fridge, there was still only a single strawberry. "Ta-da! We made the strawberry disappear!" Arissa giggled and clapped her hands in applause in a joking manner.
"But... how...?"
"It does not only work for the fruits, either!" Arissa added. "I put in a ten-thousand yen bill in there, and it vanished as well! So if anyone finds it wherever the things in the magic fridge vanish to will be very happy, I think!"
"You seriously wasted ten-thousand yen!?" Honoka gasped towards the foreign girl. And she didn't even seem fazed by it, either! Was this brown-haired girl super loaded? The frugal Honoka didn't even think she could even waste a single yen on a little magic experiment!
"It was either that or my credit card, and I am doing the impression that the paper was the better choice," She answered with a surprisingly casual tone despite her lack of linguistic aptitude.
"But that's enough about that!" Nanami interjected as if Arissa's financial loss didn't seem like a big deal, either. Honoka had to wonder just how rich her companions were at the moment. "Honoka, you still never answered my question! What would you do if you really got to live forever?"
"Oh, that is a good question!" Arissa noted with a twinkle in her eye. "But... it would take me some time to think of what I would do..."
"This sounds like a good way of passing the time!" Lance noted before turning around and investigating the fridge some more.
"Well... that's kind of... a strange to question to ask, so... I'm not very sure..." Honoka noted, clearly uncomfortable now that Nanami's starry-eyed gaze was upon her. It was difficult to say no to that, plus the girl had told her such a... poorly-told, yet pure-hearted story earlier. "I've always been so caught up with getting more time to do what I want, so I've never really been sure what I'd do if I actually got it, but..." As the traveler climbed his way up to the treacherous mountaintop, the evening sky was clouded with a midnight blue. Though it wasn't raining, it didn't stop the thunder and lightning from plummeting down off into the distance.
Oh my! This certainly seems ominous!
So why are you climbing a mountain, Honoka? Do you like to do that, or is it just something you've always wanted to do?
Hey, you two... can you let me finish this story? I'm sure any of your questions are going to be answered...
Sorry!
It's okay! Anyway, moving on...
The figure scaled up to the very top, where a solitary wooden shack rest atop the mountain. "My name is BanchoLeomon!" He suddenly belted out with a loud basso tone. "I have traveled far and wide to challenge thee!"
And from out of the shack came a little magenta-haired girl, wearing white night gown with a flower print and holding a toothbrush. She continued to brush her teeth despite the disturbance, because Honoka was a good girl who cared about her personal hygiene, and the fact that living for a super long time with the same set of teeth was much trickier than it seemed. She wanted to say something but it was rude to talk with your mouth full.
"So you are the child known as Flower of One-Thousand Fists!" BanchoLeomon proclaimed, clenching his fists and assuming a fighting stance. "It is said that you have spent the last four hundred years mastering every fighting style known to both human and Digimon alike, and that there is no one stronger! However, I shall defeat you and claim the title of strongest for my own!" He suddenly charged towards the little human girl! Using his superior Digimon strength he managed to close the distance between them with a single step, and swung down at the little girl with a massive fist. It slammed into the ground, shattering the earth beneath him, but little Honoka was nowhere to be found. However, BanchoLeomon was able to hear the sound of Honoka continuing to brush her teeth behind him.
Spinning around, the lion man Digimon sent out a flurry of lightning-quick punches towards Honoka, but she was able to casually avoid them all as if it were a choreographed dance routine. "Th-this cannot be! How are you able to dodge all of my attacks!?"
But the little girl still didn't respond. Just a little bit longer to go...
"But I will not falter! I have trained my entire life for the title of strongest, and I will not back down just yet!" He let out a lion's roar, gathering energy in his fist. He thrust his fist into the ground and a shockwave of energy flew towards the girl. She responded by leaping up into the air, but that was exactly what the lion man Digimon was waiting for. "You can't dodge while you're in the air!" He yelled out, leaping up and prepared to rend the girl in half with his sharp claws. But his hand passed right through the girl as her image disappeared! "Could it be... an afterimage!?" He turned around to see Honoka standing behind him once more, rinsing her mouth out with a small cup of water.
"I... see..." BanchoLeomon finally admitted, falling to his knees. "I now understand that there is no meaning in the pursuit of strength, and that hurting others for the sake of my own pride as someone strong is a cruel act. I will now live out the rest of my life knowing that violence is never the answer, and devote my entire existence to defending peace with not the force of my punches, but the power of my words!"
And with that, BanchoLeomon scaled down the mountain to live out his new life, while Honoka returned to her shack because she was a good girl who went to bed on time. "Oh my... it was beginning to be an entertaining story, but the way you have ended it was a little..."
"That story wasn't overly preachy in the slightest!" Lance exclaimed excitedly.
"But... you know... It's kind of hard to think up something on the fly like that, so..." Honoka tried to excuse herself from the criticism, but suddenly Nanami put her hand on her shoulder and stared at Honoka with her sparkling amber eyes.
"That was so cool!" She praised. "You were super strong! So strong you beat up that bunchofleomon without even having to attack once! You must be really good at fighting people if you're gonna be that strong one day!"
"That was just a story, so..." Honoka also wasn't sure how to handle the praise, either. "But wait, I think you're missing the point of the story! It's not about being the strongest, it's about..." Honoka was interrupted by Airi's voice from outside the kitchen.
"GOD DAMN IT!!!" WC: 2469 + 2699 = 5168/10000 (Woohoo! Halfway there!)

Airi had managed to escape from Sable for a little bit, but now that Airi had some time to herself, she had gotten bored. Even the Digital World got boring once you got used to all the shapes and sizes. So, she decided to do what she did best; steal random objects in innocuous places.
She had stepped into the random clock shop, immediately put off by the constant noise of all the ticking clocks around her. It was like time itself was trying to piss her off. She gave a casual nod to the shopkeeper as she looked around. It was a strange-looking man inside of a strange-looking clock-shaped machine. Airi didn't even need a scanner to tell that this creature was probably named Clockmon. Not that she really cared. She examined the merchandise, constantly keeping the clerk in the corner of her eye. And once his attention had turned elsewhere, Airi swiped the closest clock she could find, stuffing it into her back in a single quick motion. What a sucker... She turned around on her heel to head out the door....
But then she found the Clock Digimon standing next to her, gazing down at her with harsh eyes. "YOU FOOL!!!" He yelled out, grabbing Airi's head on both sides. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!"
"What the hell is your problem, man?" She asked Clockmon in a panic. She was definitely not expecting to get caught like that. How quiet could this guy be to move so silently? Could he teleport or something?
"You grabbed the one clock in the store that was cursed! Your fate has been... unsealed!"
"Don't give me that kind of crap! All I did was try and steal a clock, dude!" Airi protested angrily. "Stop making it out to be so dramatic!"
"YOU FOOL!!!" The machine Digimon repeated. "By unsealing your fate, you are doomed to walk this life for all of eternity! You shall live forever now, unbound by the flow of time and the fabric of reality!"
"Okay, you're seriously creepin' me out, dude! Don't make me scream for help!"
"We have no choice! I must send you to another dimension, otherwise your existence itself will pose a threat to reality!" The clock Digimon shoved its hooded head just millimetres from Airi's face.
"The hell you are!" Airi tried to pull away from the Clockmon's grasp but to no avail. "Listen dude, you want me to pay for this, I'll do it, but don't start gettin' all weird on me! I'm just a kid, man!"
"SILENCE!!! Nothing you say shall dissuade me!" His eyes glowed with a red aura as they swirled around in circles, hypnotizing the person in front of her. "Chrono-Jono-Bono-Ohno!"
"Oh... you... dick..." She became mesmerized by the strange light, and was consumed by it.
"GOD DAMN IT!!!" Airi screamed as soon as her hairpin lockpicks snapped. She balled up her fists and slammed them into the door as hard as she could. Her knuckles ached from the impact, which further served to piss the girl off.
"Hey, are you okay!?" She heard the bossy magenta-haired girl suddenly came running out of the kitchen. The other three dunces came out right after.
"I'm just fine!" She replied with but a sliver of restraint. "But this damned door isn't a door at all!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" The other pink-haired girl... seriously, why were there so many people with pink hair? Was that supposed to be the new norm? Airi's hair wasn't exactly super Japanese herself, but at least hers was a god-damned normal color! Regardless, the pink-haired girl with the idiot's face seemed concerned.
"It means that even though it looks like a door, and has a lock, it doesn't actually move!" Airi explained angrily. Honoka seemed to catch on to what she was saying. She was kind of slow, but at least she wasn't an idiot like the rest of them.
"So you're saying that it only looks like a door, but..."
"It's just fucking decoration!" Airi growled, storming off to the living room and plopping down on one of the chairs with her arms crossed.
"She said a bad word..." she heard Nanami giggle from behind.
"She has quite the toilet for a mouth, no?" She heard another girl, who was apparently seventeen, whisper back, yet loudly enough it was as if they wanted to be heard. Well, Airi wasn't going to take the bait and instead decided to ignore them.
"Well, it looks like there's nothing else we can do!" The only boy among them proclaimed. He was fucking weird. Seriously, what was his deal? "So we should just all give up and stop searching for a way out!" She heard retreating footsteps right after.
"That's so silly, Lance! Besides, you're not giving up! You're still looking around!" Nanami shouted back after him with an amused tone. She took a seat on the armchair and patted Airi on the shoulder. "But I think it's really cool that you're able to pick locks and stuff! You know, I've always dreamed about being a sexy super spy, but it looks like you're even closer than I am!"
"Umm... thanks?" Airi wasn't sure if that was supposed to be a compliment or an insult. But the Nanami girl seemed harmless enough, though incredibly dense.
"Airi, just sit here and relax for a bit, okay?" Honoka suggested like she was the boss. "There has to be an exit somewhere, so we need to keep looking! So feel free to join the search with us when you've calmed down a bit, okay?"
Airi simply glared at the magenta-haired girl, but Honoka didn't look away. So Airi just nodded and muttered, "Whatever..." And with that, Honoka walked off, leaving her with Nanami and Arissa.
"This is reminding me! Have you seen the mysterious fridge?" Arissa suddenly asked her, sitting down right next to Airi in the single-person chair. Thanks to their tiny child bodies they were an easy fit, but it was still too close for Airi's comfort. Seriously, there was another chair across from them, and a freaking couch in between the two chairs! Why were these two idiot girls insisting on getting so close!?
"That's right! Airi, you gotta come with us to the kitchen! There's something super cool that you gotta see!" Nanami pulled at Airi's arm, but she managed to pull herself back from the pink-haired girl's grasp.
"Oh come now..." Arissa commented, wrapping her arm around Airi's shoulders. "I am thinking that you will be surprised at what you will be seeing!"
"Would you two just get your hands off of me, already!?" Airi barked at the two, sitting up from the chair to escape Arissa's grasp. The other girl still tried to maintain her hold, and ended up falling forward out of the chair, tumbling to the soft carpeted floor. "So this place has a weird door and a weird fridge! So what? None of that is gonna help us get outta here! So stop acting like a bunch of useless idiots and take this seriously!"
Nanami looked like she was about to cry from Airi's little outburst, while Arissa took the time to straighten herself out from her rather disgraceful landing. She stood up and wrapped her around Nanami's shoulders. "I am thinking that we are going to be having the time to look around later!" She noted. "We are in weird place right now, no? Either that, or I am having a dreaming right now!"
"I'm sorry if I made you mad..." Nanami managed to mutter out quietly. She seemed to hold back her tears, but she was looking down at her feet in shame. It seemed like Airi's careless words hit a touchy spot with the girl. Well... shit. Airi didn't mean to sound that mean, but she lacked the words to make the girl feel better. But the girl besides her simply glanced at Airi's guilt-ridden expression, and then to Nanami's sad face.
"Oh, that is correct!" Arissa suddenly blurted out in a cheerful tone. "You had asking me in the kitchen earlier what I would do if I could live forever! Well, I have become up an answer to that question!" She suddenly began whispering in Nanami's ear for a couple of minutes, and Airi noticed that the pink-haired girl's expression began to turn redder and redder the longer Arissa spoke to her.
"Th-that's... uh... certainly something!" The pink-haired girl finally managed to reply as Arissa let out a devious chuckle before walking off. Nanami remained sitting on the armchair, shifting around rather uncomfortably for a little bit.
"So... you've been asking people what they'd do if they lived forever...?" Airi asked, eager to break this awkward silence. Nanami nodded. "So what is it that you would do?"
"Go on adventures and explore ruins and collect treasures and stuff!" She replied with a straight face, then proceeded to recount some silly example of Airi and Nanami going off into the jungle. So she really was just a dumb kid after all.
"Why would you want to travel to some sweaty jungle when there's plenty of treasures in the city?" Airi asked the girl. "So listen up - this is how you should really hunt for treasures!" It was peculiar that the National Museum of Western Art had such an ugly-looking building, though Airi wasn't really an art person, so maybe it was just an art snob kind of thing.
"Excuse me sir, but I can't find my parents! Can you help me look for them please?" A little girl with pink hair walked up to a security officer in front of the gates. The officer obliged, taking Nanami to wherever the museum took small children to the lost & found section.
Lost & Found? Isn't that where people get their lost objects? I don't think that's where they would take me to...
Sh-shut up! It's where they take kids in this example! And it doesn't matter where they take you! The important thing is that the security guard is away from his post!
Oh, I get it know! That's really smart, Airi!
Well, duh! Anyways, moving on!
With the breach in security, little Airi was able to sneak into the museum all by herself. There were plenty of other art snobs and the like wandering around, but Airi always made sure to remain close to an adult, but not close enough to draw their attention. She stealthily made her way through a closed off exhibit that was still being prepared, ready to make her move. The door was locked, but she had no problem picking it with her trusty lockpicks.
And from there, the rest of the job would be a breeze. She had already memorized the security schedule ahead of time, so she'd have well over fifteen minutes to get in and out. Plus, she had memorized all the camera angles so she knew where to go in order to avoid being spotted. She made her way up to a glass case containing a giant sparkling golden jewel. There was an electronic lock, but she was able to easily hack her way into there and disable the security. She opened up the case, pulled out the jewel, and shoved it into her school bag.
Wow, you know how to hack stuff, too!?
W-well... no, but we live forever, right? I'd have plenty of time to learn how to do that kind of stuff! I bet even you could learn to do it if you had the time!
Really? That's so cool! I can't wait to live forever! What happens next?
After that, Airi managed sneak out with any issue, while Nanami pretended to get a phone call from her parents. Together, the two little girls made their way out of the museum and become much, much richer children.
"Wait... so that's it?" Nanami asked with a disappointed expression. "No getting chased by the cops, or dancing through laser sensors or anything?"
"We would have chosen to rob that place because it didn't have all that stuff!" Airi explained. "And the point is to not get caught committing crimes!"
"Maybe, but I think I would have made it more exciting..." Nanami looked away nervously as if she were afraid that she was offending Airi. As if she didn't nearly make Nanami cry a little bit ago.
"Well, it is how it is! Trust me, sneaking around and going into places you're not supposed to be is plenty exciting!" Airi explained.
"I guess so..." Nanami answered as if she understood. But her face suddenly brightened up and she grasped Airi's hands. "But Airi, you have to teach me how to pick locks sometime, okay? I've always wanted to learn how!"
"I mean... you could always just look it up on the internet, like me..." She answered nervously. She wanted to yank her hands back right away, but she didn't want the pink-haired girl to start crying again.
"No! It's easier to learn stuff when someone's there with you!" She insisted.
"F-fine!" Airi conceded. "Once we get out of here I'll teach you sometime!"
"Then it's a promise!" Nanami suddenly grabbed hold of Airi's pinky and locked it with her own.
"R-right..." Airi managed to gently escape from Nanami's grasp, and take a few steps back. "Well, I haven't had the chance to look around at things just yet, so I'm gonna go do that now. You try to find a way out as well, okay?"
"Okie-dokie!" Nanami called out as Airi walked off towards the hallway. She opened the nearest door and looked into what looked like a surprisingly clean bathroom. Well, she didn't want to go exploring toilets just yet so she closed the door and took a peek inside the room further down the hall. As she moved into the room, suddenly there was a blur and a figure suddenly grabbed hold of her and covered her mouth.
The figure shut the door behind her.

Once again, Arissa didn't have any idea how she got here. She was just lying in her bed, debating on getting undressed for the night and turning in early, when she reached out to check her alarm. And when she did, she suddenly found herself lying on the floor, surrounded by clocks. A man wearing a red executioner's hood and holding a mallet stood not far from her.
He certainly looked silly enough. But with this silliness and these clocks, Arissa realized that she was no doubt in a dream. So the young woman decided to embrace the silliness! This was like the last dream she had where she had been imprisoned in a weird world and met all of those sweet kids!
She simply looked around at the various clocks on the shelves, she picked up one that gave off a faint light. It was warm to the touch and made her fingers tingle. It was certainly a pleasant sensation, but she had a feeling something was going to ruin it.
But then she found the Clock Digimon standing next to her, gazing down at her with harsh eyes. "YOU FOOL!!!" He yelled out, grabbing Arissa's head on both sides. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!"
"I have grabbed this clock without permission, no?" She answered back. "I will be putting the clock back if you are letting go of my head!" But he clock creature made no attempt to do so.
"You grabbed the one clock in the store that was cursed! Your fate has been... unsealed!"
"Like I said, I will be putting the clock back if you are letting go of my head now! Can you not hear me or am I saying the wrong?"
"YOU FOOL!!!" The machine Digimon repeated. "By unsealing your fate, you are doomed to walk this life for all of eternity! You shall live forever now, unbound by the flow of time and the fabric of reality!"
"I am not the familiar with the words that you are using, but it all sounds ridiculous! Can I put this clock back now?"
"We have no choice! I must send you to another dimension, otherwise your existence itself will pose a threat to reality!" The clock Digimon shoved its hooded head just millimetres from Arissa's face.
"Normally I am liking this kind of advance, but you are certainly not getting the permission to try anything!" Arissa warned. "Now I would really like the clock to be putting back now!"
"SILENCE!!! Nothing you say shall dissuade me!" His eyes glowed with a red aura as they swirled around in circles, hypnotizing the person in front of her. "Chrono-Jono-Bono-Ohno!"
"I am definitely not in understanding of... that..." Arissa managed to say before being consumed by the light.
Arissa wanted to wait a little longer, but she was getting bored of this prank. Still, her patience paid off as someone finally entered the bedroom. She took a step back to hide behind the open door as the figure stepped further into the room. Then Arissa jumped towards the figure, wrapping one arm around them while covering their mouth with her other. There was no point for making a loud noise for a silly prank. She used her foot to kick the door closed as she finally got to look at her victim.
Naturally, it was the angry one. And after she got past the initial shock, she was glaring at Arissa angrily. Arissa let go of the girl and glided over towards the bunk-bed, taking a seat onto the soft mattress. It felt phenomenal, as if this was made just for her.
"You must be forgiving of me, I had thought you were being someone else!" Arissa explained as if nothing had just happened.
"But... why..." Airi seemed more stunned and surprised, though Arissa could tell the angry reply was about to arrive soon.
"Because I was getting bored of looking around the house, and seemed like it was fun!" Arissa explained, playfully kicking her legs now that they were off the floor.
"So you just stopped looking around!?" The anger Arissa had been expecting had finally arrived, but much to her surprise Airi wasn't shouting at the top of her lungs. Maybe she had a little more emotional restraint than she realized. Certainly more than Arissa had, admittedly.
"There is no door and there is no windows," She explained. "And nothing seems like this building was meant for anyone other than us. Take a seat..." She patted down the spot next to her. Airi seemed hesitant, but approached the mattress and sat down a spot far away from Arissa. "Is this not the most comfiest mattress you have placed your tush on before?"
"So what if it's comfortable, it doesn't mean that..." Airi's grumbling was interrupted when Arissa slid over to place herself right next to the girl.
"You know what has been bothering me?" Arissa asked out of the blue. She began to look over Airi, poking at her clothes.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!?" She demanded, pushing Arissa back.
"If we have become little children, then how come we are wearing the same clothes as our older bodies?" Arissa asked, feeling around her clothes. They still felt the same to her, despite the change in her size. "It is sounding strange that we are not all falling out of too-big clothes. It is a shame..."
"How is that a shame!?" Airi asked incredulously. The girl was getting more and more flustered, and Arissa began to realize something. But she wanted to be sure.
"Oh my, I am believing something about you, Airi!" She stated with a playful smile. "But since you are here now, would you like me to tell you what I whispered to Nanami earlier?" Airi hesitated for a couple seconds before shrugging.
"Wh-whatever..." She finally answered. Arissa leaned in closer to Airi and spoke in a whisper.
"Well, since you seem so much older than the little girl Nanami I'll be a little more colorful when using my words!" Her eyes glimmered deviously as she began her story. "So if I could live forever, I think this is what would be example of the things I would do!" Despite the wintry wind, Arissa was warmed by the man beside her. An older-looking Arissa sat beside a handsome man with short blond hair and glittering sea-green eyes. Their hands were clasped together as she leaned into solid, yet surprisingly comfortable muscles.
"Oh, Pyotr... I am going to miss this tongue..." She used her other hand to gingerly trace her slender fingers the man's jawline.
W-wait... why are you talking about tongues!?
Oh my, I did not explain things right, did I? I was talking about the tongues, like with the languages! We are both speaking in Russian, so please keep that in mind!
Um... right...
"Arissa... Teaching you my tongue was the greatest pleasure of my life..." The Russian man used his other hand to take hold of Arissa's. Soon, they had woven their fingers of both hands together and leaned his face so their noses nearly touched. "I am going to miss your tongue as well... The tongue that taught me how to love..."
"I can assure that the pleasure was mutual," Arissa replied tilting her head so their lips were mere millimetres apart.
Wait... by 'pleasure', are you talking about... that kind of stuff...?
Oh my... whatever kind of "that kind of stuff" are you asking about?
You know... like... dirty stuff?
We are quite clean, I am assuring you! Hygiene is important for this kind of stuff! Now moving on...
"Are you sure that you must leave today? Even if it is only for one more day, I will be glad to have to stay a little longer..." His whispers and breaths warmed Arissa's face and caused her to blush.
"I am afraid that now that I have mastered this language, I must move on to master other tongues..." Arissa pulled a hand free and placed her finger in between the pair's lips. "We both knew that things would be ending this way. So do not be upset at my departure but instead you should be being pleasured by the memories we had together..."
Pyotr grasped his hand around Arissa's, and pressed his lips to it as if greeting a princess. "Then perhaps... we could make one more memory together?"
"Well... one more pleasurable memory could not hurt..." Arissa answered with a small smile. Almost immediately she felt herself get into pulled into Pyotr's firm grasp. As their lips pressed against each other he leaned forward, placed one hand on the back of her head and one behind behind her waist to support as she leaned back.
This went on for quite some time and Arissa soon tired of the kiss, however passionate it may have been. She gently placed her hands onto the mans chest and pushed back, but his grasp on her remained firm. She balled her hand into fist and softly pounded on his chest until he got the message. He relaxed his arms enough for her to move her mouth to his ear and whisper. "Do you really want to spend this short, pleasurable moment on just a kiss?"
She kissed his neck, moving down to his chest and reached down to his belt. As she did this, Pyotr gently guided her body so her back was on the bench while he supported himself on top of her. He placed his hand on her inner thigh, slowly moving his hand up until it moved up her skirt and...
Okay, that's enough!!!
"No more!" Airi practically screamed out with a red face that was most definitely not from anger. "I get the point, okay? You're really into kissing boys and other stuff!"
"Oh, but I was beginning to get to the good part..." Arissa complained in a mocking tone.
"B-b-besides, you can't do any of that stuff!" Airi reasoned nervously. "You're stuck in that little kid body, remember?"
"Oh, but that doesn't have to be an issue..." Arissa answered with a devious smile.
"It certainly does! Pyotr's not some romantic guy anymore! He's just a criminal!"
"Oh, then how about if Pyotr is the same age as this body of mine, then?"
"Then you'd be the criminal!"
"I suppose that is true..." Arissa finally admitted. But, she finally had Airi where she wanted her. "But you are not completely correct about the thing that you had earlier said..." Arissa leaned in closer to Airi, placing her hands around her head and waist like Pyotr did in her silly fantasy. Airi's face turned from a flushed pink to a deep crimson as she stared back at Arissa with a horrified expression. "I do not like to just kiss boys. And we are both mature people, no?"
"N-n-n-n-n-no way!" Airi managed to stammer out. In a flash she escaped Arissa's gentle grasp and flew off the bed until she was at the door. "And I'm too young to be doing that kind of stuff! I'm even younger than Nanami is, so don't you dare try anything!" She opened the door up and fled from Arissa's presence.
"I thought so!" Arissa said to no one in particular. "It is a shame she is so young. She was fun to tease..." She placed her finger on her chin as she pondered. "Well, I suppose Honoka is relatively close to my age. But I wonder how old Lance is? Eh... something about him seems off, so I am thinking maybe not!"
"You've got to be kidding me!?" She heard Honoka scream out from what was the kitchen.

Mordreid had absolutely no idea why he was here! He was just bored, messing around in his holosuit. Not looking like a PawnChessmon sure was convenient, after all, and many Digimon would outright ignore a human walking by themselves! After all, you never know when they'll summon a powerful Digimon or turn into one themselves! That means that the disguised Digimon could approach anyone he wanted to an extent!
Mordreid wondered what kind of people would frequent a clock store so he decided to go see for himself. And naturally... the only person he saw was the Clockmon who worked there. So that was a bust. But still, Mordreid would feel bad if he walked out of the store after walking right in so he decided to at least look around a little bit. After all, walking out of a store after loitering for a bit was the proper way to do things, right?
So Mordreid examined the various clocks, picking them up at random and putting them back down one after the other. And every time Mordreid did so he seemed to draw the ire of the Clockmon, then would look at a glowing clock in the center of the wall. Mordreid pointed towards it, wondering if that was the clock the Clockmon wanted him to see. Willing to oblige, Mordreid headed over towards the clock, and poked it with his finger.
Then he found the Clock Digimon standing next to him, gazing down at him with harsh eyes. "YOU FOOL!!!" He yelled out, grabbing Mordreid's head on both sides. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!"
"ABSOLUTELY!!!" Mordreid yelled back.
"You grabbed the one clock in the store that was cursed! Your fate has been... unsealed!"
"That sounds amazing that I grabbed this clock and only this clock! I'm sure glad that you were able to warn me beforehand!"
"YOU FOOL!!!" The machine Digimon repeated. "By unsealing your fate, you are doomed to walk this life for all of eternity! You shall live forever now, unbound by the flow of time and the fabric of reality!"
"I would really appreciate you doing that to me now! So please go ahead!"
"We have no choice! I must send you to another dimension, otherwise your existence itself will pose a threat to reality!" The clock Digimon shoved its hooded head just millimetres from Mordreid's face.
"I'm glad we have no choice! Let's get things started, but I'm definitely not going to scream for help now!"
"SILENCE!!! Nothing you say shall dissuade me!" His eyes glowed with a red aura as they swirled around in circles, hypnotizing the person in front of him. "Chrono-Jono-Bono-Ohno!"
"This is the best day of my life!" He yelled out as he was consumed by the light. "You've got to be kidding me!!!" Honoka yelled at the disguised Digimon. Well... disguised was a strange word. Because even this was supposed to be a moderate alteration to his form, his appearance changed to a small human child. And Mordreid found that he was unable to change back into a Digimon form, which concerned the PawnChessmon a great deal.
Still, Honoka seemed more annoyed about the thing Mordreid mentioned earlier. "I definitely meant what I said!" He answered. "We should all get inside the fridge and see if we vanish!" Hopefully his additional comment would convince the girl that he was in fact joking. He had a particularly difficult time talking to incredibly serious-minded people like Honoka. He could pass off most of his lies as jokes, but the people who hear him have to be able to register them as such... a skill this magenta-haired girl seemed to lack.
"But maybe he has a point, Honoka!" Nanami added. Very unhelpfully. Nanami might have been bad for Mordreid, but for the opposite reason - She was far too trusting to assume that "Lance" would ever lie to her. Which meant for Mordreid, Nanami wasn't very useful when he tried to communicate seriously.
At that point, Airi had rushed into kitchen in a near panic. "What's going on here?" She managed to gasp out while her red face slowly began to fade away.
"Lance just had an idea that we should use the magic fridge to get out of here!" Nanami explained.
"And I for one think it's a terrible idea!" Honoka answered. "We don't have any idea where this fridge takes us, or even how it makes things vanish! You could die if you tried it!"
"Wait, magic fridge?" Airi asked, confused. "You were serious about that?"
"Basically if you take stuff out of the fridge if reappears when you open it again. But if you put stuff in the fridge it disappears when you open it again!" Nanami explained rather helpfully.
"Perhaps if you acted more in the group part you would have been filled in better!" Arissa explained, sneaking right up behind Airi. The girl's face reddened once again as she scrambled across the kitchen to place everyone else in between her and Arissa. Mordreid could only imagine what went on between them. "But I am thinking it is better than any other plan we have right now! There are no other ways to be getting outside!"
"I agree completely! This is an amazing idea!" Mordreid added, concerned that more people were latching onto his stupid joke. "There is no way this could possibly go wrong!"
"I kinda agree with miss bossy-skirt around!" Airi commented while jerking her thumb at Honoka. "If things vanish, then we could appear in some other awful place, like a giant garbage dump or something!"
"Miss... bossy-skirt...?" Honoka repeated in near-shock, but the conversation was progressing too quickly for her to add anything else.
"Or it could lead us all back to the outside where we can all go home!" Nanami suggested.
"Why would some fridge portal lead us outside?" Airi countered. "It would likely lead us to some other prison that could be far worse than the one that was clearly designed to keep us comfortable!"
"Well I'm not comfortable!" Nanami replied. "And I've got friends to get back to, and adventures to go on!"
"And who said that there's not another way to escape!"
"Airi-chan's right!" Honoka supported. "Just because we didn't find a way out in the first couple of hours of searching doesn't mean that there isn't a way out! We should take the time to think about this!"
"But there are no other floors, and we have checked all the rooms for places to exit!" Arissa noted. "I am not thinking that we will find a way out if we continue to search! Besides, this certainly seems like the most fun way to exit a place!"
"I agree completely!" Mordreid pretended to confirm. "The most important part about our circumstances is doing the thing that sounds the most fun!"
"There!" Nanami suddenly blurted out. "Me, Arissa, and Lance all think we should use the fridge to get out, while only Honoka and Airi think otherwise! So you all get outvoted!"
"This isn't a democracy!" Airi barked back. "So what if you all vanish inside a fridge and never come back!? I don't have to do the same reckless and stupid thing as you three idiots!"
"My... how mature-sounding of you, Airi!" Arissa noted.
"You stay quiet!"
"And I'm not going to let you all just potentially kill yourselves just to get out of this place a little quicker!" Honoka protested. "Isn't it better if we just play it a little safer and wait and see if we can find another way out?"
"Or maybe we should just go ahead and do it instead of doing the arguing!" Arissa suddenly cried out, opening up the fridge and used her small body to climb into the fridge rather easily. Mordreid was too stunned to oppose her, and the other three must have been a similar situation. The door shut, and when Mordreid opened the fridge door once again, the girl was nowhere to be found.
"Holy shit!" Airi cried out in horror. "Oh fuck... did she actually just... vanish herself!?"
"That idiot..." Honoka muttered under her breath, suddenly climbing into the fridge. "You guys wait here! I'm going in after her!"
"But I thought you wanted to stay behind here!" Nanami asked with a concerned expression.
"Because I thought it was too dangerous!" She explained. "So if she went somewhere dangerous, I can't just let her go alone, can I? So stay here and I'll bring her back!"
"And if you can't get back?" Airi asked with a skeptical expression.
"Then... you all know that it was too dangerous after all!" Honoka replied with a comforting smile. "But if it does lead outside, I promise I'll come back to get you all, okay?"
"That's just crazy!" Airi protested angrily. "Just get out of the damned fridge, already!"
"I can't! Someone bossy has to bring her back, right?" She gave the group a wink and faced Mordreid. "Lance, can you close the door? Don't worry, I'll be just fine! Just like you said!" Mordreid gulped, but honored the girl's wishes. She knew what she was getting into, even if she didn't know what was on the other side.
Nanami gasped as Honoka vanished, looking frantically between Airi and Mordreid.
"Fine!" Airi suddenly threw her hands in the air and marched towards the fridge door. "All I have to climb inside the fucking fridge right?"
"Airi!?"
"Hey, Lance, or whatever your name is! Open the damned door already!" Mordreid complied and opened it up as Airi climbed inside.
"It's not a good idea to stick around if half of us have left already!" Airi explained. "'Sides, there's no way that Honoka could drag that wild girl back by herself!" She signaled for Mordreid to close the door, and waved towards the rest as he did so. "If a never see ya again, then whatev-" Her voice was cut off as her entire existence was potentially erased.
"This isn't progressing quickly at all!" Mordreid finally managed to blurt out once he was alone with Nanami.
"Really? I think things are happening a little quickly, myself..." Nanami admitted, clutching her chest in concern. "But... Lance... I think we should follow them, don't you think? It's probably better if we're all together, right?" Instead of lying to the girl who would believe anything he said, Mordreid simply nodded and opened the door. Nanami giggled as she gave the disguised Digimon a hug.
Lance patted the girl on the back until she pulled herself back. "If things go bad, just know that it was great knowing you guys!" She moved closer towards the door, but stopped herself and asked Mordreid one more question. "Oh, but I never got to know what it is you would do if you could live forever!"
Mordreid smiled back and said. "I'd conquer both the Digital World and the human world under eternal darkness!" He answered. "I'd be an awful tyrant of nightmares that would crush anyone who opposed me! And you, Airi, Arissa, and Honoka would become my four dark generals!" Nanami giggled at his explanation.
"Silly Lance! We wouldn't let you do that!" She giggled some more as she climbed into the fridge.
"When we get out of here, I promise I'll tell you what I'll truly do, okay?" Nanami nodded back as Mordreid closed the door on her.
