Silence is Golden (Closed)

It was a bit of a jarring experience for Carlos to leave the bustling street of Shibuya behind as he made his way into a bookstore to be met with an almost deafening silence compared to the chaotic cacophony of cars and people going on outside. Nothing other than the quiet, ambient music, sporadic sounds of pages being turned and the muffled rumbling from the noice outside could penetrate the forced quietness of the quaint little store.
Jarring? Perhaps, but not unwelcome.
The man calmly walked inside, giving a quiet nod of greeting to the old lady standing behind the counter before he made his way into one of the book filled corners which he then began to browse for the book (or books) he was interested in finding, namely anything related to cooking really. Instant noodles got boring after a while, after all.
Always walking closely behind him were what to anyone else would look like two young looking teens of a similarly silvery hair color to that of Carlos. Anyone giving them a passing glance could be understandably mistaken to think the three of them were related and...perhaps in a rather roundabout way they were, but certainly not by blood relation.
"Why is everyone so quiet? Is someone napping?" The more energetic looking of the two digimon twins whispered into the other's ear, which earned him a bored, dissinterested shrug from him.
"Places with books tend to be like that. It's just how things are." One of those seemingly universal customs that nobody really questioned. Luckily the younger brother didn't seem to need more clarification than that, as he gave it a pensive nod and didn't say much else.
