As far as the Buraimon was concerned? Amy couldn’t help but to let out a hearty giggle at his words. “Maybe you’re the one who lost his mind, birdbrain; I’ve dealt with digimons stronger than you on a daily basis, so I’d suggest you to show a measure of respect when you’re outmatched, y’know?”
It was rather convenient that Amelie herself wouldn’t have to be the one to teach the Buraimon a lesson; a cinematic-worthy sequence afterward, Calumon’s evolved form was fighting the bird man while the captive human escaped to safety. Guess the girl’s priorities were set from that moment onward; she approached Ryuji and stood somewhat protectively between him and the Buraimon.
“Try to not move a lot, man. You might distract your friend if he thinks you’re under attack or something, y’know? Don’t worry; I’ll make sure that nobody will snatch you again while your partner settles the score. How does that sound?”
In the end, there wasn’t anything wrong in enjoying a fair-and-square fight, wasn’t it? Sure, the brunette could intervene, but that’d drain the fun from Calumon getting his payback! Not to say that she already had her fair share of action with her little arson run. As far as she could see, the distraction had worked wonderfully.

Buraimon only responded to her speech about facing digimon stronger than her with a roll of his eyes turning his attention to Yoshihiro. Meanwhile Ryuji was staring at Yoshihiro's new armor form in awe before he said "I don't know why I'm surprised by a giant white mantis considering his martial arts fighting style and the fact his other armor form is an anthropomorphic samurai." As for staying out of the way, that sounded good and so did not wandering off and getting snagged by someone else so Ryuji stayed where he was behind the unknown girl.
Mantismon moved with a sense of liquid grace as he closed in on Buraimon while the bird man drew his swords. Obviously he had ignored Ryuji's words about this being his second armor form. His partner was now an armor ultimate so the fight was likely in Yoshihiro's favor.
Pointing both his swords at Yoshihiro, Buraimon said "This time I won't be so merciful, Yoshihiro. Prepare to be cut down!" He then flew at high speed swinging his swords toward Yoshihiro's abdomen.
Yoshihiro's Crystal Matrix on his forehead began to glow and from his claws blades swung down in a switch blade like fashion before he exclaimed "Dance of the Lotus!" He then leapt forward in movements that were like watching a dance making short work of Buraimon's swords before he shoved the champion digimon to the ground. One of his glowing blades came to a stop just short of Buraimon's throat and he said "I believe situations are now reversed Buraimon. I will give you a chance. You will leave here and if I hear of you enslaving others again I won't show such mercy. What is your choice?"

Magnificent showing all along. It seemed like the Mantismon decided had this fight in the bag, and Buraimon had been thoroughly outmatched during its length. Amelie herself couldn’t avoid clapping at such a showing. Nothing short of impressive!
In the end, an ultimatum had been offered to the bird. He had to abandon his dastardly ways in order for his life to be spared. Yet… there was probably something that had to be noted in a situation like this one.
“So, uh… idealism and pretending for a criminal to make and then abide for a promise he won’t keep is nice and all, but. This place is kinda burning down and we should probably get away before things get dicier for us. Else the whole rescue operation will be a bit pointless, don’t ya think?”
Amelie's tone was calm, but it managed to convey the situation's tone pretty well. All in all, while this situation was pretty much resolved, there was a non-zero chance that it wouldn’t remain that way for too long if the group decided to squander their time. What would they resolve to do? The clock was ticking down.

The Buraimon stared up and showed genuine fear before he said "Very well, Yoshihiro, I will submit today but I will train myself and return so I can bring you down." Figuring that was the best Yoshihiro would get he raised the blade away from Buraimon's throat and, like a switch blade the glowing red blade disappeared into his forelegs. With that Buraimon flew away to points neither Yoshihiro or Ryuji cared about at the time. The human girl was right, staying near here wasn't the best option.
"Ryuji, climb on my back and I'll get us out of here. There is a cafe that we can go to. You probably need the break before we go home because you look worse than I do." Yoshihiro said.
"Gee I missed you too, Yoshihiro." Ryuji replied in a tone that indicated he was feeling at least a bit better since the teasing tone rarely came out for anyone else. Yoshihiro definitely thought his tamer was too serious at times.
As the teen boy climbed on his back, Yoshihiro turned to the girl and said "So are you coming too?" Yoshihiro's tone had regained some of his usual playfulness now that Ryuji was safe.

“Yadda yadda. You’re boring everyone, bird brain! Can you just scram so we can be on our way? Nobody cares about your quest of vengeance or whatever.”
Indeed, the Buraimon decided to take his leave and the group finally was out of danger, at least temporarily. Good thing as well that Amelie had managed to be the voice of reason in such a situation. Indeed, the smartest thing to do in such a scenario was to abandon the busy part Tenebrous and hope that the trio wouldn’t be linked to that small act of arson. What they didn’t know couldn’t injure them, right?
Well, except that the fire was very real. But that was a detail. “Man, I really could use some tea right now. I don’t even know why, but I feel surprisingly thirsty.”
She then looked at the duo, smirking all along. “You two look horrible. A shower would be my priority if I were you.” And after a pause, she added. “Is that an invitation to get on your back, or for me to just meet you two at the cafe? In any case, I guess I’ll see you soon. Or maybe not; can’t know for sure, yanno?”
Some questions were better left unanswered, and as far as the girl knew, it was hard to know if her mood was really up to the task.

Let's see how good you would look without access to proper rest and a shower before you judge us. Think about it I'm in this state because I was looking for my tamer almost nonstop for three days." Yoshihiro then sniffed the air subtly before he said "That and it seems Ryuji is no better. Judging by the way he smells, I doubt Buraimon allowed him to bathe in the three days he had him."
Ryuji glared at Yoshihiro before he smelled himself and to his disgust realized the both of them smelled like week old sweaty gym socks. Looking at Yoshihiro's back, he said "Tea doesn't sound that bad either." His tone of voice had gone to quiet and shy as if he realized he was around a girl near his age once the danger had passed.
"Then I guess we can just meet at the cafe. I don't really want to be arrested for arson to be honest." Yoshihiro said as he headed to the cafe with Ryuji clinging to his back. Fortunately reaching the cafe didn't take long and Ryuji hopped off Yoshihiro when his partner began glowing. Shortly after he returned to his in-training stage of Calumon and floated over to Ryuji's shoulder landing on it tiredly.
"It seems you are more tired than you'd like to admit, Yoshihiro." Ryuji said to the tiny digimon.
"You'd be tired to if you had to do the moving for yourself for three days straight then digivolve twice to fight off an enemy." Yoshihiro said with a relaxed sigh.
"Good point. I was carried the whole way when moving then dumped in a cage upon reaching that tent."

“Been there, done that.” Was the girl’s immediate response. She still could recall, and rather vividly at it, how one of her first trips to the Digital World went. “Not an experience I’d particularly recommend, however.”
It was weird how what had been a rather traumatic experience could be recalled so wistfully, but it also came with the uncertainty that some attachments potentially had, and how brief, yet beautifully could they shine.
Her peaceful forest, forever lost to the merciless talons of oblivion.
It was for a moment, but the confident smirk the young woman cracked into a pained expression. “Ain’t it good that you managed to reunite, though? You should treasure the time you have together. It’s truly impossible to know how long or short that will be.”
While this was the end goal of this small journey, right now the brunette didn’t feel all that well. Maybe not the most polite gesture, but as soon as the tamer and his Calumon left, the girl would walk away in the opposite direction. Dredging some memories just prompted the desire for her to be alone with her thoughts.
At least for the time being.

The tired and smelly pair went into the cafe where the Togemon showed his relief that things had gone well. Shortly after finishing his tea, Ryuji noticed Yoshihiro had fallen asleep snuggling into his tamers neck. Seems like it was time to head home or at least to another place other than Tenebrous to rest. Ryuji found the place unsettling due to his most recent experiences there so he was all to eager to leave.
The girls parting words hit home with how true they were. Ryuji knew his time with Yoshihiro could be long or brief depending on how fate treated the pair. He, for one, was hoping for a long lasting friendship with the little martial artist that had become his partner. He hoped that getting kidnapped or held hostage wouldn't become a regular thing because he didn't want to put Yoshihiro through that kind of pain. Who knew what would happen with those two? Only time would tell.
