"Yes, Itou residence..."
"A-ah, hello, is this Mama? It's me Hikaru."
"Wait, Hikaru? As in... THAT Hikaru?"
"Yes, Itou-mama. It's Hikaru. Long time no talk. I... I have an emergency."
"Emergency? Is... Is it Yuuki!? What happened to my boy!? Is he alrigh--"
"Oh, no no, nothing of that sort. I'm sure he's studying hard in college. It's more about me."
"O-oh! I'm sorry! Wh-what's wrong with you? Are you alright?"
"In... in short, no. Um... ...how can I go home to Shibuya? From Kyoto that is."
...Hello, Hikaru here. You might be wondering what's up, and why am I here outside of Shibuya, alone no less. Hell, my fluffy fur all frazzled up from this sudden incident. I was just stepping out from my office, just want to get some fresh air and all... walking down the street, talking with local with my guise... and well, uh... DUH. Let's just say I ended up in a strange situation. There was a brief flash and suddenly here I am... IN MIDDLE OF FUSHIMI INARI TAISHA--
I mean, I'm a fox dragon, but this is ridiculous! I got spirited away from Digital World? In Ys no less!? Just what is going on? Also for some reason I forgot my D-Nexus too! Augh! ...Anyway, back to topic, I ended up doing... some Solid Snake thing, with cardbox and all, yeah. I managed to get to a telephone booth with huge coat and hat to make sure nobody knew it's not a human but a Digimon who entered the booth and talked to Yuuki's mother...
None of us can get hold of Yuuki sadly... Which means... I guess I should do something about money and fork some to ride a Shinkansen to Tokyo... but the question is... how!?
...Nai waaaaaa........
"....A-anyway, I should get back to the carton box to hide... Ugh, never again... this sort of annoying incident... Now I regret not registering holosuit for myself! ueeeh..."

You may be wondering what business a single Digimon had on her own in the middle of Kyoto, Japan. Weeelll, the short of it was she had nothing better to do. She had the funds to get around on the Shinkansen, and had decided that if she was going to be taking trips over here infrequently, then she should at least familiarize herself with the area on the outside so that she can get...less lost more often.
Was this a sound reasoning as to why she was around here? Probably not to some people, but at the very least, it had been a nice day out. However, the holosuited Digimon noticed something odd at the payphone on the street/not park she was on. That...-was- a Dorumon, yes, but there was something innately familiar about them. Too familiar, in fact.
So.
In true Omen fashion. She walked over. Tapped the Dorumon on the shoulder.
"...Grandpa?" Quiet as hell.

So if Hikaru was suddenly transported from Ys to Kyoto, what were Adrian Boriker and his partner Shoutmon doing there? It was quite a bit away from Tokyo, after all.
Well, that is very simple. Both Adrian's mother and father had gotten a break of work, and so did Adrian himself, so his entire family decided that a small trip to Kyoto would be a fun idea, get away from all the craziness of Tokyo. They had arrived the day before, with Adrian's brother Aaron along for the trip as well. And thanks to Shoutmon's holosuit, he got to join in on the family activities as well.
While they didn't do much on their first night since they had arrived, today was a new day and plans were underway to go to places like Kyoto Tower later that day, but until then Adrian and Shoutmon decided to do a little sight seeing on their own time however, before they were to meet up again at 4PM to head to the tower.
"So, what do you want to do first Shoutmon?" Adrian had asked as they walked down the street that was right next to a park, with Shoutmon wearing his holosuit of course (A human Adrian's age with a small red mohawk and a blue hoodie.)
"Well, let's go to a new restaurant! I'm pretty sick of all the same restaurants in Tokyo anyways."
"Is food all you think about? Don't you wanna visit a shrine instead?"
"Hm... I DO wanna see them... but on the other hand breakfast wasn't filling at all."
"Can't argue with that, sadly..."
As they were talking, Adrian and Shoutmon came across an odd sight. It looked like a white-haired little girl next to a... wait, was that a Digimon?! There were Digimon in Kyoto, too?! Adrian thought that they were only appearing in Tokyo, what was one doing here? Plus Shoutmon could sense that even the human girl was a Digimon, too.
"Two Digimon, one holosuited and one with a... really bad disguise..." Shoutmon whispered to Adrian. "... we're gonna get wrapped into something, aren't we?"
"I think we are, yes," Adrian whispered back. He decided to take the friendly approach to this, that usually worked out better in the end. He walked up to the two Digimon and smiled. "Uh, hey there. You two are quite a long way away from Tokyo, aren't you?" While he wasn't showing it off, both Digimon could clearly see the D-Arc that was worn on Adrian's left wrist like a watch.

Hurry, back to the box, don't want DATS to get on your case because you're out! That was what Hikaru thought as he tried his best to float down and pretend to make the silhouette of his guy in trenchcoat "crouch" so he would be able to abandon it... Yeah, just need to flip thi---
"GYAH!!"
Yeah he was superbly shocked by someone who tapped his shoulder outta sudden. AND GRANDPA WHO!? He might be father of many, but just so you know... he have yet to heard that he got any grandchildren yet! Just as he was about to protest... he saw a little girl. What? Alright, probably just someone who-- no, this is an unmistakable smell of Digimon. But who is this girl...?
"...Hmmm? You smelled like Hasenya... wait, Hasenya? I heard she gone to Luminas... what...? Eh?"
Note to self: Demand explanation from a dumb fox daughter.
"...Uhm, so you're... my granddaughter? Who's your name little lad--"
...and another duo approached. Hikaru shushed them and gets inside the box. "There, all better! ...You can pretend that this box is some sort of cursed box or something... But yeah I'm far away from Tokyo, and not willingly at it."

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on Jul 18, 2020 3:48:10 GMT
While a simple geek like Kenny loved the huge hustle and bustle of Tokyo, and especially Shibuya, sometimes, there had to be times to take a break from the action, to give himself and Skadi a chance to breathe for once in their busy life, and this week-long summer holiday to Kyoto would do just the trick for them. With Skadi's holosuit in tow, the two would set off into a bullet train onto their trip abroad.
Already from the moment Skadi stepped onto her first shinkansen, she found herself in awe gazing at the lush, beautiful landscapes of Japan. Luckily for her, her holosuit taking the form of a young kid allowed her to blend in easily with the rest of the people abroad. Surprisingly enough, not another tamer nearby raised an eyebrow or two about this holosuited Digimon in the flesh. A good thing too; despite all the massive adventures in the Digital World, it was nice to unwind once in a while without fear.
By morning come, the two had made it to Kyoto safe and sound, and, after making it to their hotel, unpacking, showering, and getting themselves some cheap and easy lunch, they had decided on where they wanted to go first; the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, home of the titular fox God himself. It'd be nice, probably take some photos, grab some souvenirs, and maybe when they were done, perhaps they could go watch a movie tonight.
Oh, if only that were simple.
As they walked over to the fox-god's shrine, an odd sight would behold them. Already, Skadi felt an odd tingly feeling inside her body, sensing a Digimon or two nearby. But as far as she was concerned, this was the least of her worries. That voice alone was enough to tell her, and Kenny for that matter, that her own dear old papa himself was nearby; specifically in that box, where 3 more familiar figures stood by: Adrian, Shoutmon and…
Wait, did Omen just call Hikaru 'grandpa' unironically?
What the heck was going on?
Needless to say, Skadi's attention found itself laser focused upon the box, "...papa?" She muttered quietly as she tilted her head. How did he end up here in the first place? Where was Yuuki? What was going on, exactly?
Not a moment too soon, the holosuited Valaismon was on the move, drifting towards the box. Kenny followed from behind, a concerned look on his face, "I don't have a good feeling about this. Something about this just feels off, if you ask me…"
But Skadi paid no heed to anyone or anything. By the moment she reached the box, she gently placed a hand onto Hikaru's soft fur in a bid to grab his attention, "...papa? Are you OK?" Kenny just watched, biting his lip nervously.
Already a thousand questions swirled around his head, and he had a good feeling none of these would be answered anytime soon.

There was a lot to process at once here. One, she recognized that name, even if she had never heard it. Omen legitimately recognized that because it was -practically engraved- into her core as one of her parents. "That's...mom." She said, just as quietly. "My name's Omen." Simple. Quick. To the point. Make a real good impression on your fucking furry of a grandfather.
It was then that Omen had noticed others present. People and Kenny and Skadi. Well, she was assuming the girl was Skadi given she could recognize Kenny as easily as ever. But...she just said papa. Unironically.
There was a good few seconds of silence from Omen's end. "...You're my aunt?" She asked that of Skadi, staring. Omen then turned to that guy and the other guy. "...Kyoto is 450 kilometers from Tokyo. Ergo, that's pretty far. Also, this is my box now. You filthy box thieves will not part me from it, for it contains precious cargo."

It was indeed a lot to process all at once. Adrian could definitely tell that the poorly disguised Digimon was a Dorumon, just judging from the overall body shape and what little he saw of his face. When the two of them arrived, he immediately went back under his box, saying that he was indeed far away from Tokyo unwillingly, according to him.
His voice though... that accent of his sounded familiar. "Wait a second... you're Hikaru, right? King Hikaru of Ys?" Adrian would ask the occupant of the Metal Gear Solid box. "We're friends with your husband Owen and your son Bezil. I'm Adrian, and my partner Shoutmon is with me as well. What are you doing all the way in Kyoto?" Adrian would be sure to look out for any nearby non-digidestined humans that would potentially eavesdrop on this conversation. He wasn't careless.
As he was asking his question however, another pair of humans came walking down. Only this time both Adrian and Shoutmon recognized them... well, Adrian recognized the older one of the pair, Kenny. The little girl he was with must have been Skadi, just based on an educational guess. "Kenny? Skadi? You guys are visiting Kyoto as well?"
"Kind of hard to be conspicuous when everyone is gathering together like this," Shoutmon commented, mostly to himself.
Now, Adrian and Shoutmon both had no idea how this weird family tree worked, nor did they know that even more members were added, so of course some questions were raised when Skadi recognized Hikaru too, and called him "Papa". "Wait, I'm confused... you're Owen's daughter too, Skadi? And what does this one mean by 'aunt'?"
"Some things never change..." Adrian said with a slight chuckle.
The other holosuited Digimon responded to Adrian and Shoutmon by reciting how far away Kyoto is from Tokyo in kilometers. "Wow, I never could've guessed that off the top of my head..." She would then state that the box was now hers, as it held precious cargo. Adrian laughed a little bit, this Digimon was funny. "Probably for the best anyways. No offense Hikaru, but your disguise is not that great."
