Head aching, body feeling like tar. Yup he was pretty hungover laying down in the grass. Reaching his hand up to his head slowly rubbing his head as he rose up feeling his back crack as he stretched some knots out. "Man, it's been a while wince I've woke up outside my home, didn't think I had that much to drink." Thinking back the last time he did that was when he was a teenager, underage but back then that didn't mean much to him. If he knew as much about the law back then as he did now his past self would be too scared to do anything. "But this forest, must be in the Shibuki Forest." which meant he wasn't too far from home, he knew what direction it was in just not what direction he was facing. Looking up through the trees he could barely make out the sun, strange he didn't remember the forest being so dense before. But he got a good grasp on what direction, if he hit the wrong district he could always just go the other way.
Heading off his mind went to the first thing he had to do, get some water. Then possibly review some cases and listen in on so- oh right he had a few days off. He'd been working too much lately so a few days rest was called for. "heh, even I wouldn't drink this much before a work day." he muttered to himself as he kept going. Walking for quite some time he couldn't seem to find Society hill, Resident district or even the dormitories. This was odd he didn't remember the forest being this big. "This is taking too long, If I did work today Hibiki would kill me." his assistant flashed in his mind, great worker if a bit quiet.
Eventually he stopped hearing something in the distance, sounds of laughter, low and seemingly malicious. Glancing in the direction he saw what looked like a small kid hiding behind a tree, he was too far away so he could only make out a scarf and what seemed to be a shirt with a face on it. "Hey, You lost kid?" Kagura asked walking up slightly, in response the kid ran away from him. Shocked Kagura thought for a moment before walking after the kid, place was too dangerous for a kid to be here alone. However he was soon stopped, well more like tackled by someone else. "Don't follow it." the voice cried as it tried to shove Kagura. But he was larger then the newcomer so he simply skidded back a bit, holding his ground.
"Hey, a simple stop would've suffic-" Kagura stopped for a moment as he took in the newcomer, they were a fox. Literally. A bi-pedal fox who was scanning the area. "H-haven't you heard the rumors? If you follow that Impmon you might never escape the forest." Kagura took in the words and gave a small nod, not to what they said but to the fact that he was totally dreaming right now, no other explanation. He sometimes had weird dreams so it wasn't that shocking to him, he knew there was no way he'd wake up in the middle of the forest. "I see, thanks for the save..."
"Oh right, I'm sorry. My name is Rin. Sorry about running into like that, I just. Wanted to be sure." they said a bit meekly looking at the ground, definitely not the same tone they had before. "Hey it's fine, just being careful. Names Kagura Mutsuki. Nice to meet ya." Giving a small wave he decided to lean into the dream, it was just like one of those shows his little brother watches.
"So, know a way out of this forest? I don't know where I'm heading." while this dream was neat he wanted to see what else it had. "Oh, I was actually heading over to the training grounds, I can show you the way out if you want?" Rin pointed in another direction but Kagura already made up his mind. "Nah, I'll head to the training grounds with ya, I'll help ya out as payment. I was a boxer so maybe I can show ya a thing or two."
Run looked a bit puzzled, last they remembered humans were weaker then digimon, but he seemed so sure and they didn't want to deny their help. Not able to decline Rin simply nodded and the two went on their way towards the training grounds.
