"Today on Gaz's Daily Gab, here we are in Terminus City on a lovely Fall day, ready to talk to the real digimon that live here about things that matter to you at home."
"Cut! Okay, that's a great intro!"
Gaz the Gazimon finally lowered her microphone as Bellamy the Impmon pressed the stop button on the camera he was holding. The third person there, Luke the Elecmon had just passed his approval on that, about their tenth take on an intro.
The three digimon were present in the middle of Terminus City. Gaz dressed in a green scarf to match her green eyes, which matched her father Bellamy's - who was dressed in a red scarf, red gloves and maroon shirt. And her uncle Luke was dressed in a blue scarf and indigo shirt. They had been trying to make a good take for quite a while now, and the three of them were relieved to at last have some progress.
"Are you sure about that, Luke?" Bellamy asked his brother, waspishly, his shoulder aching from the weight of the camera. "Don't think it'd be better with two words in a different order or somethin'?"
"Bells, I'm only trying to help your daughter succeed." Luke replied patiently. "We agreed to help her start a career in journalism, remember?"
"Yeah, dad, no need to be a whiny little in-training about it." Gaz added. Bellamy sighed and supposed he should take it in his stride. Yes, he had agreed to this, mostly to spend time with his daughter. His and Luke's partner Colin thought it would be a neat idea too and gave his blessing for it, especially since his family wanted to take a weekend vacation themselves, thus leaving the digimon with plenty of time to spend in the digital world with family and friends.
"Well, can we at least buy a tripod or somethin'?" Bellamy asked. "I doubt it'd look good if all the footage is wonky. I don't know if you've noticed, but I ain't really packin' in the muscle department, and this thing gets heavy after a while."
"That's a valid point, let's go get one before we find people to interview." Luke agreed. And so the three of them made their way through the city, keeping their eyes out for people that might have something interesting to say. The journalism industry in the digital world might be in its fledgeling stage, but the three of them knew that Gaz's best chances of success was if she managed to get a scoop of some kind.
If not, that was fine, Gaz was patient. But both her father and her uncle were eager for her to achieve something today. They soon got their tripod, then Gaz kept her eyes out for anyone interesting to approach and ask for an interview. Perhaps they would be of interest for others to approach too, what with Bellamy's camera and Gaz's microphone.

Stacy stepped off the Trailmon when it came to Terminus and, up until this point, most of her Digital World escapades had been in the wilds somewhere or other. Terminus was her second experience she had involving wandering a large city since she had come to Shibuya with the said human city being the first. Though she was with a group called AEGIS she rarely wore the group's uniform meaning she was wearing a pair of dark blue sweat pants and a red t-shirt. Sticking her hands into the pockets of her black leather jacket she pulled out her D-Tector and placed in in the Digivice cradle strapped to her left wrist so she could be ready just in case there was trouble.
Walking around the city, she began taking in the sights yet somehow she hadn't noticed Luke, Bellamy, and Gaz. How she missed them was curious since they were carrying a tripod. Not only that the Elecmon and Impmon pair known as Luke and Bellamy were wearing shirts which was something both species were rarely known to do. Catching some spots on her glasses, Stacy removed them and used her shirt to clean them before placing them back on her face. Good thing she stopped walking when she did this because the last thing she needed was to get involved in a potential brawl for bumping into someone.
After her glasses were clean she spotted a bench not far and walked over to have a seat on it. Maybe she didn't notice the small family of digimon not far from her because her mind was wandering again though she wasn't thinking anything specific at the time.

To a small fry like Lagi, a massive city like Terminus should seem intimidating to someone like her. Yet, she didn't mind. Having been born in the freaking Dark Area, of all places, and somehow escaping with barely a scratch, could easily leave an impression to a young Digimon like her. She knew when to cut her losses and take her leave anyways. It was no skin off her non-visible nose
Yet, despite the short hand she'd been given in life from the moment her DigiTama first formed, she knew how to make the best of what she could get. A few odd jobs here and there did help her get by. Her satchel, draped around from her neck and around her body, flopped around lazily as she went along the way, letting out a little yawn as she did.
Yes, even she had to admit her travels alone could get a little boring sometime.
By what she could only describe as mere happenstance on her end, her eyes glazed upon 3 particular figures. 2 of them she could recognize immediately; Luke and Bellamy, notable members of AEGIS, somehow not being dragged along by their tamer, accompanied by a Gazimon carrying a microphone. Immediately her eyes lit up and a wide grin grew on her face.
Yes! Could they be looking for someone to recruit into AEGIS? Perhaps she'd finally find not only a home, but her calling in life! This could be the breakthrough she was looking for! Straitening up her hat, and satchel, she could feel her steely resolve already resonate through her as she floated up to the Tamer-less trio.
The next thing Bellamy would see on his camera was Lagi's beaming beady eyes and scarecrow mouth hogging the entre lens, as the Ghostmon gave a friendly wave.
"Hello!"

"Wugh!" was Bellamy's reply when the Ghostmon showed up in his face. He almost dropped the camera, but at the last moment steadied himself.
Bellamy's outburst drew the attention of Gaz and Luke, who immediately turned their attention to the Ghostmon.
"Ah, dear viewers, I believe we have found our first debutante to make our first interview in our debut series!" Gaz exclaimed.
"Uh, Gaz, journalists don't normally narrate like that." Luke advised his niece. But in this case, Bellamy was willing to counter his brother.
"Eh, just go for it, Gaz, go for whatever feels comfortable!" he said, fixing the tripod underneath his camera and holding a good view on the scene. Gaz chose to take her father's advice here and go with the flow.
"Hello there, Miss. My name is Gaz, and I'm here to interview the individual citizens of Terminus to get your stories out to the digital world." the Gazimon said gently to the ghost digimon. "So, would you like to spend a few minutes in telling your story of who you are, what you've achieved, and what you hope to achieve in future?"
While Gaz did that, Luke noted that Stacy from AEGIS was nearby too. Once this interview was over, perhaps she would be willing to be the next interview subject? But he'd remain silent on that for now while the cameras were focused on the ghost digimon.

Looks like Luke, Bellamy, and the currently unknown Gazimon would get quite the surprise when an unfamiliar ghost digimon popped up in front of them. Stacy was surprised she recognized Luke and Bellamy from AEGIS considering she had a spotty memory at best. Bellamy's response to the unknown ghost made her chuckle. Taking another look at the unknown digimon, Stacy had to admit this little ghost digimon was quite cute and seemed to be friendly enough since all she did was startle Bellamy a little.
It seemed that the Gazimon was trying to interview the unknown ghost digimon. Maybe she was a reporter but it seemed she was inexperienced in that field. That was all right because everyone had to begin somewhere. Stacy knew that lesson well since being a spirit wielder was flung at her a while back. Despite that she thought she had adapted well in a short time since she was capable of reaching the ultimate level as well as had the ability to use two different human spirits.

Even as Lagi's sudden arrival had tripped poor Bellamy up, neither the Ghostmon nor her smile had barely budged an inch. Truth be told, introductions weren't exactly Lagi's biggest strongpoint, considering her loner lifestyle she had for most of her short life insofar. Thankfully, it looked like nobody here would be holding that little gaffe against her, much to her relief.
"Journal... list?" She mused quietly to nobody in particular, as her eyes glazed upon the two boys having their little chit-chat about Gaz, "Does that mean she writes journals for a living?" She scratched her chin a little.
Actually, no, that didn't sound right. Nobody was writing anything. If anything, they were holding cameras and microphones and Bellamy was setting up the camera to focus it on her and now Gaz was interviewing Lagi directly right there on the spot and why was she suddenly asking her some really tough questions just right now?
Immediately, Lagi froze up. For a few moments, her eyes nervously darted left and right, before falling to the floor below. All she knew was that she was born in the Dark Area, with a DigiTama formed out of nothing but trash data of hapless Digimon. She had nothing big or show-stopping to speak of, especially when compared to Luke and Bellamy. What was she to tell them? Would they laugh at her? Ostracize her for being a freak of nature?
The floor was slowly looking like the more viable option for her by the minute.
"I... uh... I'm Lagi." The Ghostmon started, "I'm just a wandering Ghostmon who was born in the Dark Area, and managed to escape unscathed. Other than that, I... haven't been able to achieve anything too big or too spectacular. I usually just wander around the Digital World from day-to-day. And I just want to find myself a true purpose in life, like you guys."
She paused for a brief moment, biting her lip a little before continuing, "I- I mean, look at yous three. You guys have a good family, a place to call home, and an actual purpose in life. I don't really have much myself, other than the ectoplasm on my back, and the knick-knacks I collect from place to place. I have a few if you want to see them."
She prayed they wouldn't laugh.

Gaz caught on quickly that Lagi seemed to be pretty nervous about being put on the spot like this. For a moment, she thought it was adequate payment for her scaring her father like this, but she put such nasty thoughts aside and wanted all the best for her first interviewee.
Gaz remained silent through her first attempt to answer her questions. But as she paused, Gaz turned to the camera. "See here, viewers! Not everyone from the Dark Area is a horrible monster, all I see here is an innocent digimon, no different to you and me, who simply wants to find her place in the digital world!"
Bellamy felt a little bit awkward about the possible backlash about such preachiness, but Luke felt it was justified and gave a thumbs-up of approval.
Gaz then dramatically swished the long grey furry bangs from her forehead and continued with the interview. "Now now, let's not delve into comparisons of our priveliges... all I want is to bring news of the real world to our viewers. Why, I'd wager that there's many more digimon like you out there, Lagi, yet to find your place in this ever-changing world. And I'd wager further that they'd be eager to learn some advice from you, if you have it to offer..."
Gaz then offered the mic to the Ghostmon. Both Luke and Bellamy were somewhat frightened at this moment, but they realized that they weren't in fact filming live, so, Lagi had the leave to say whatever she wanted, and if she didn't in the end want it aired, that was fine.
However, she found herself curious about what "knick-knacks" that Lagi had. "Well, if you wish to share them with us, then by all means, we're interested." she said.
Bellamy however couldn't help but feel a little proud at how quickly Gaz was to see the best in this digimon, who had admitted to being from the dark area. There was a lot of stigma against such digimon around the digital world, so if this made it to air, he hoped it would help the situation in that regard.

So this cute little ghost digimon was named Lagi and she was trying to find her place in the Digital World. Stacy knew what that was like that was for sure and, in a sense, she supposed she was still trying to discover her purpose in not just the Human World but the Digital World as well. Life was full of discovering more about oneself at all times she supposed. Her own name meant resurrection or fruitful which was fascinating considering after becoming a spirit wielder it was as if she had been reborn anew. Now she was trying to understand more about the digimon forms she had the ability to become. So far she had access to the power of an ancient holy digimon up to her beast spirit as well as another human spirit that was an alternate evolution of her rookie form but of the water element instead.
Stacy turned her attention back to watching Lagi and it seemed the ghost digimon was nervous to be interviewed by the Gazimon that Stacy didn't know was called Gaz. Heck she didn't even know Gaz was Bellamy's kid.

'Horrible monster'? As far as Lagi knew, the first memories, at least, as far as she remembered, were literally vicious monsters all fighting to survive. Was there actually prejudice against perfectly normal Digimon who had the completely unfortunate luck to even be born in the Dark Area? Lagi quietly bit her lip and twiddled her index fingers together as Gaz gave another spiel to the camera.
Whenever intentional or not, she did appreciate the sentiment. Even if she wasn't exactly ready to express it out loud for the rest of the Digital World to hear.
Regardless, with Gaz's microphone pointed towards her once more, her beady eyes wandered off towards her accompanists' more concerning looks. What was she were to say without looking like a complete idiot? What would they think? That she was weak? A coward? She at the very least outright refused to enter fights she knew she couldn't win, at least not voluntarily-
That's it! A small glint could be seen in her eyes as she figured out what to do. Gaz would only get a few words out before the Ghostmon dug around her satchel before her clammy hands wrapped around a smooth, pearly white, object.
The second she pulled it out, Gaz, Luke, and Bellamy would lay their eyes on an alarmingly large SkullGreymon tooth, specifically, one you'd find on the front of the bottom of the jaw. The sharp tip of the tooth glistened in the sunlight, and it's mere appearance was enough to make any lily-livered Digimon feel faint just by looking at it.
To Lagi, however, it was a very special memento.
"Well, I got this when I was being chased down by a SkullGreymon. I was just minding my own business, trying to find my way out when it spotted me from afar and gave chase. I barely got away unscathed because I managed to maneuverer my way to safety and disorient it, if only briefly."
"As for how I got this tooth?" She pointed to the ominous object in question, "I managed to phase through a giant stone pillar, and as it was about to bite into me, it rammed itself headfirst into the pillar, and knocked itself out. When I emerged, I saw a dislodged tooth lying next to it and picked it up, before scurrying away from the scene. I knew better than not to try and fight back against it directly. But I was really cutting it close. I just had to do everything I could to survive."
Would that answer Gaz's question? Granted, it wasn't exactly the most exciting way to avoid certain death, but hey, as long as it ensured she was still standing (or floating)...

Gaz said nothing as Lagi told her tale about how she obtained the Skullgreymon tooth. Even Luke and Bellamy stood frozen as they listened to the story, fascinated. The tale was so transfixing that they were glad to have it on film.
When Lagi had finished, Gaz almost struggled to find words to continue, but she regained her composure and used her instincts to find the right ones. "There you have it, ladies and gentlemons. Lagi here, a mere Rookie level, managed to stand up to a Skullgreymon, a Perfect level, and not only lived to tell the tale, but scored a trophy from that encounter. All because she kept calm, stuck to her instincts, and used the environment around her to come out on top. That's amazing work, Lagi, well done!"
Luke and Bellamy exchanged glances and smiles. At first they had been unsure of the pitch of Gaz's ventures into journalism, but, given that the first digimon they had met for an interview had such a gripping tale, they thought that maybe this could be a pretty good activity.
"So, Lagi, any parting words before we wrap up this interview?" Gaz asked, offering a final word. Once that was done, she would sign off, indicating for the feed to be cut, then smiled again at the Ghostmon.
"That was really neat, Lagi. Before you go, can we exchange details so we can follow up on each other before this hits the airwaves?" the Gazimon asked, hoping to keep everything above board in all this.
While she was discussing this, Luke turned and noticed a familiar face. "Hey, isn't that Stacy from AEGIS?" he asked. Bellamy turned too, then confirmed the sighting.
"Hey, how 'bout you interview her next, Gaz?" he asked. "Spirit users don't have that much publicity after all, could be pretty neat."
Gaz waved him away until she had finished dealing with Lagi. But, initially, it sounded like quite a good idea.

It seemed like that little rookie, now known as Lagi, had already had a rough time involving a ultimate level digimon. Sure she could say something similar considering she had encountered two separate megas and she could only reach the ultimate level herself. True she only had to fight one of the mega digimon while it was rampaging in a weakened state but it was still a battle she could have easily lost. She was glad the Megidramon X had run out of power or she wouldn't be here in Terminus now.
Still being able to phase through solid matter had to be a useful trait especially for a rookie digimon like Lagi. If Stacy could do that she would have gotten into less trouble that year, that's for sure. Sometimes she didn't even know how she had survived to gain her first beast spirit, never mind the fact that she had two of them now.
It looked like Luke and Bellamy had not only noticed her but recognized her too. It had been awhile since she had last seen them. Didn't they have a tamer? Maybe she was just remembering things wrong, oh well. When they spoke to the Gazimon, they suggested they interview her because of spirit wielders lacking publicity. Stacy had to admit the name Gaz was kind of cute and what would be the harm in an interview?

For a moment, Lagi swore she could hear a pin drop as Gaz, Luke and Bellamy stood frozen from her odd tale. She wasn't lying, she swore to Yggdrasil! But at the same time, a story as crazy like this did sound unbelievable to any old Digimon, especially to those who looked like they lived very cushy lives, at least in comparison to her. Quietly, she bit her lip, not knowing what to say.
Yet, hearing Gaz praising her to the 'audience'... she didn't exactly want to admit it out loud, but she did feel an odd lump in her throat. And she wasn't exactly hiding it that well; she found herself twiddling her fingers unconsciously and her full scarecrow smile was up on display. Particular eagle-eyed individuals could spot her mouthing out the words "Thank you." as Gaz spoke.
So entranced and lost in that brief moment of euphoria, it would take Gaz addressing her once more to (unintentionally) snap her out of her trance. What did she want to tell the audience, exactly? What could she say without sounding like a complete tit? It took her a few seconds to think of what to say before uttering, "Uh... stay in school, kids? Eheh."
Yeah, she wasn't exactly winning any awards for eloquence there.
Still tethered a bit into her trance, at least she knew what to do next as soon as Gaz asked for her details. "Oh, yeah. Let me just write down my Tamernet details down quickly." Before Gaz could blink, Lagi would dig into her Infini-Store and pull out a pen and notepad, scribbling down something quickly before tearing the paper off and handing it to the Gazimon, "Here you go."
Now, Lagi's writing wasn't exactly the best in that regard, fairly messy and wonky at a glance, but if it was any consolation, Gaz would be at least able to read what was the Ghostmon's Tamernet username on the piece of paper:
TheWundergeist.

Gaz gave a grin at that final line. She hadn't gone to school herself, but didn't contest that advice as Lagi gave it.
Once the recording was cut, Gaz waited patiently for the tamernet details. She grinned at the username. "Well then, lookin' forward to next we chat, Wundergeist." she said, offering a final pawshake before parting.
"Okay then! One neat interview down, let's go for the next while we're on a roll!" Gaz exclaimed. "So this person here, you guys work with her, she's a spirit user called Stacey, right?"
"No, Stacy." Luke corrected her.
"...what's the difference between Stacy and Stacey?" Bellamy asked his brother, folding the camera and tripod to its mobile mode as they walked over.
"Stacey has an 'e' in it, while Stacy doesn't." Luke replied.
"But... how can you even figure out the difference between 'cey' and 'cy' in verbal communication?" Bellamy inquired further.
"Dad, uncle, shut up please." Gaz told them curtly. Luke and Bellamy shrugged and supposed they'd best move on from this conversation.
"Heya, Stacy with a 'y'." Bellamy greeted the spirit user. Luke nudged him. "I mean, uh, Stacy, just Stacy, yeah." the Impmon cleared his throat as a means of putting a halt on being awkward. "So, uh, my daughter Gaz here is lookin' for people to interview around Terminus for a journalism gig, and we were wonderin' if you might be okay with a kind of 'who are you and what have you been doin' lately around the digital world' sort of thing? Of course you don't have to talk about any classified AEGIS stuff, just keep it short, sweet and interesting?"

Stacy listened politely as Lagi wrapped up her interview with the line 'stay in school.' Though from what Stacy remembered of how hard school could be at times all those years ago the ghost digimon's words were still wise ones. Looking back at high school alone it had to be almost twenty years since she graduated. 'Damn I'm old.' she thought.
As the interview wound down the Gazimon named Gaz seemed to get her name wrong only to be correct by her uncle, the Elecmon named Luke. Then the Impmon Bellamy began arguing about the differences in the names spelling reminding Stacy of high school all over again as she face palmed while remembering how her teachers couldn't get her name right despite having it somewhere on their desk in written form. "I thought I was long past issues with my name, Geez." Stacy muttered as Gaz seemed to get things under control before Bellamy spoke to her. It was true that she, Luke, and Bellamy didn't really interact when she joined AEGIS but she figured such interactions would happen eventually. So what to say? After thinking for a moment she then said "Well my name is Stacy and I was born in the United States before moving to Japan where I got my D-Tector one night when it came out of my laptop. I also seem to be older than the average tamer or spirit wielder at thirty eight years old though I look at oldest no more than twenty five. I am also capable of reaching the ultimate level and even have reached that far with my alternate line. I may not know about many digimon species but so far I've managed.

Gaz listened to Stacy’s story with interest. “Ah, from the states, like my dad’s partner.” she remarked. “Hmm… could that be a coincidence?”
“Actually, now that you mention it…” Luke muttered, but stopped himself going further, it would be a bit unprofessional to start gibbering on about a half-formed theory while his niece was working here.
“Your D-Tector came out of your laptop, you say?” Gaz repeated. “How exactly? Did it pop out of the CD-rom? The exhaust fan? Some form of dispensary unit?” she was rather excited to learn more.
Also apparently Stacy was 38. “Hmm, yeah, that does seem older than the average human I’ve come across…” Gaz remarked. “Humans of course living for an average of about 80 years.” she explained to the camera. “Yet most chosen humans get “chosen” between 10 and 20 years so I hear.”
Stacy could also apparently evolve to the Ultimate level. Now this made Gaz excited, it could make for some fascinating television. “I see. So, Stacy, would you be willing to demonstrate a spirit evolution here for this interview?” she asked, having never seen one herself. All she knew about it was that humans used the data of a digimon spirit to become a powerful digimon themselves.
