It was more than just a hunch to sixer that another lab existed in terminus, it was the fact of the matter that she was sure of it without a doubt. But she had decided to step back away from it to build sanctuary up. To try to give her people a home that they could live in and flourish. Sure a huge amount of meicoomon and meicrackmon would be a problem anywhere else. But together they were able to fight against that hunger and fight against the stigma that they could be anything more than parasites.
Some of her people went to school, others tried to fix things. Guards were hired and her people were starting to do well. But it was one evening that she got a call from District director malganoth, a leomon that she was fairly familiar with that proved her gut feeling that there was another lab… was right.
He explained very little other than the fact that she was extended this courtesy and contract because of her previous contact with Orion. A hellish scientist that had little regard for anyone but himself or his dead wife. She’d grit her teeth as she was given a time limit to think it over but the call hadn’t even ended when she sent the fact she’d be going in.
They had also extended the contract to another; someone she had never heard of. Someone that they were pretty sure could handle this if sixer hadn’t decided to say yes. So they would both be sent to this lab. First they’d have to meet up in the district center for the teleportation pad.
Sighing to herself; Sixer made her way to and through terminus. Digimon giving her a huge berth; her signal may only be rookie but it was her appearance that put many off. The clacking of her steps and the overwhelming prowess that she displayed for being so young.
Eventually she’d get to the district center and was quickly led to a room. She’d have to wait till the evening when the power for the teleportation pad was ready and raring to go. So she sat there, hands on her lap and staring idly at one of the information screens; it was feeding her information about what they knew of the location.
In one of her hands she held a small earbud, if inserted into an ear of someone not of her people it’d extend to cover one eye with a small HUD allowing for people to ‘hear’ what she was saying. Given the fact she was a mute. Figuring that her ‘co-worker’ would appreciate that she had brought it along.
For now though? She waited. The other had until the evening to show up but the contract said that they could show up anytime before. They had plenty of time to spare as this lab wasn’t going anywhere and the contents weren’t going to be mussed with. It was an entirely production based line…
With one mon in mind.
She was the final product of the prior lab; her long identification code ended with a few sixes so thus the name sixer. She looked at this one and they were far ahead of her in terms of production line. How long had this been going since that collapse?
Only one way to find out…
