Having been raised by gangsters it was inevitable that Yasu picked up various self defense tricks from her caretakers. A lot of her brawling involves underhanded tricks as she doesn’t believe in being a decent human being towards someone who’s actively trying to hurt her. Her primary advantage is that she doesn’t really have a set fighting style as she’s had so many mentors. She’d be just as quick to give someone a throat punch as she would a suplex.
BaseballIt’s a popular sport in Japan, and Yasu played a fair bit of it during her high school years. Granted, she just really loved being told to swing a bat as hard as she could, but she found other aspects of the game fun as well. As expected she’s best as a batter, but can handle other positions to an acceptable degree. A word of caution if you’re guarding a base from her though; she’s not afraid to slide tackle someone blocking her way.
Backpack Contents:
Essentials
Extra clothes, her cellphone, money.
Digivice:
D-Tector type digivice. Primarily colored black with a magenta grip and buttons.
Personality:
People can’t spend their lives waiting to live.
It’s an ideal that Yasuko has taken to heart since she was a young. The only guarantee in life is that it’ll end one day, and that was an uncomfortable fact she learned early on. Everything else between the start and the end that makes life worth living, friends, family, happiness, love, fulfillment, etc... Those are things you gotta find yourself, and it’s not anybody else’s responsibility to do it for you.
In line with that train of thought Yasuko’s not immune to shouting curses at bad luck plaguing her day, but she’s surprisingly quick to bounce back into a carefree laugh as she shrugs the stress away. Cocksure, rowdy, and always raring for excitement she likes to brush off bad vibes with humor while plowing straight to whatever finish line she’s set her sights on.
Morally speaking, religion has never really been a big influence in her life despite her favorite bat’s nickname, Karma. It never had a place in her family, and she feels that she doesn’t need a special book or sanctioned person telling her how to live her life. If something doesn’t feel right to her, she just won’t do it. Granted, the woman’s closest friends are gangsters that she considers family, but she likes to think that they do more good than harm.

Appearance:
Among other Japanese natives Yasu is strikingly tall for a woman standing at five feet and nine inches. Similarly she doesn’t have a meek build; her arm and leg muscles see a lot of use through her active lifestyle, and she doesn’t need to forcefully flex to make herself stand out from other women her size. Her platinum blonde hair reaches down to her neck, and she usually keeps her bangs brushed backwards minus some rebellious strands that defy her attempts. Her eyes are a stark magenta hue, much like the color of her beloved jacket and sunglasses.
Personal History:
The firstborn child to the Miura family in Yokohama, Yasuko was on a path to greatness! Or at least that’s what her father had always told her, and being the daddy’s girl she was as a kid Yasu never really let go of that notion. Having a little sister following her two years later didn’t really change that. Nin was Nin, and she was Yasu. Their father had told Yasu to look after the baby of the family, because every member was important, and so she did.
Her father worked as a yakuza boss at the Yokohama dockyard, but this didn’t make him a bad man in Yasuko’s eyes. He was a father, a brother, a friend, and a mentor to many people that he considered family, and that was pretty damned cool in her eyes. Growing up she had childhood fancies of becoming a big respectable boss one day with many family members of her own to look after. The more responsible of her father’s friends would often help look after Yasu and her sister when their parents were busy, and that did little to dissuade her.
Sadly, wherever there’s people doing bad things, even good people, there are consequences to be had. The lessons of life and death were hard for her to come to terms with as people she considered family ended up hurt or worse because of their involvement with her father’s gang. Reality had certainly tempered her aspirations with caution to say the least. However, it also helped drive her to not take things for granted, and she’s forever thankful to have been able to call some of the greatest scoundrels ever family.
She was a hellraiser and heartbreaker during her high school years. Yasu wasn’t too keen on becoming an office drone or some underappreciated civil service worker. Fortunately she was able to play baseball at school, and it surprised no one when it was discovered how hard she could swing a baseball bat. It gave her a productive outlet to vent energy on, as hanging out with yakuza thugs shouting at televised sports was largely frowned upon for a girl her age. Even if professional wrestling and martial arts competitions were exciting as heck.
Yasu was rather content to remain in Yokohama and help her father out at the docks. She’s been in a fair few back alley kerfuffles as a result, but what can you do when guys you call family run into trouble? Ever the caring big sister however, once her kid sister headed out for Shibuya Yasu wasn’t far behind her. Even if Nin needed time alone, no one ever wants to be alone.
