Digimon Name: Ettie Default Form: Strabimon Gender: Female (She/Her) Skills/Talents: - For the twins, speed and stealth are their fortes; knowing well how to stay quiet, keep low, and avoid drawing attention to oneself. - With their keen senses and survivalist skills, the duo are also great at tracking down food, water, and shelter; being able to easily survive in the wild with just the two of them. - Ettie's friendly and almost childish nature makes her easy to approach and social, able to put a smile on the faces of most other people. - Ettie has a wonderful sense of direction; navigating primarily by landmarks where she can. - Though not as honest of a skill, Ettie is also skilled at sleight of hand - particularly in pick-pocketing others. She is a peppy, cheery, and innocent young 'mon who is always raring to make a new friend - even if she tends to come across as being a bit clueless, naive, and childish at times. She is always full of boundless energy - no matter the situation - and is always raring to make a new friend with anyone she meets, being an utter social butterfly. Even with her quirks and childishness though, Ettie can prove to be a crafty and loyal companion. She has grown up learning to steal and scavenge for survival; and it's a habit that's been difficult for her to break, the young girl sometimes feeling tempted to steal shiny objects that catch her eye, or otherwise swipe a loaf of bread or a couple fruits when she is feeling hungry. She, additionally, is prone to using these skills of hers to provide for other friends - even if they are the more law abiding sort! However, despite this, Ettie is a good-hearted child who means well. She refuses to steal from those who appear to be down on their luck; preferring to only steal from those who are more on the richer end of the scale, or those who slight her or someone close to her, if she can help it. She, additionally, will never steal from a friend - being deathly loyal to those she considers close, and willing to do just about anything for them. If a friend is upset or hurt, Ettie will do anything in her power to help them - wanting nothing more than for her 'pack' to be happy and healthy. Personal History: Hatching from the same egg, Ettie and Anne both were born to a nomadic pack of digimon whom kept to themselves - primarily canids, and a mix of tribal and feral in nature. The duo's youth would consist of learning to survive in the wild alongside their parents - a Garurumon X and a Dobermon - and the other digimon that made up the pack, as they wandered from locale to locale, without a care in the world. Mornings were spent scavenging, afternoons were spent wandering along a migration path they knew like the back of their paws, and evenings were spent howling as one and snuggling up under the stars. As the duo grew, this was the life they knew - and the life they adored. However... Occasional brushes with more civilized travelers and the like would make Ettie and Anne both curious about the world, beyond the migrations their pack took, and of the events that were previous beyond their knowledge or care. What was it like, living in a city instead of the vast plains, forests, and mountains that they called home? What was it like, mingling among the humans whom hailed from another world? As Ettie and Anne both reached Rookie form, and came into possession of their respective Loaders, these questions would only persist - and eventually, the duo would make the decision to find answers for themselves. Setting off from their pack as a duo, Ettie and Anne both would decide to see the world for themselves; learning what they can of the world beyond, and all the whilst dreaming of forming a pack of their own...
EVOLUTION LINEFighting Style: Swift on her feet and with accurate strikes, Ettie - for the most part - may seem like she's simply the wind element equivalent to Duchess. However, that is not the case - for the crux of her fighting style is when she is pushed to her limits, and her bestial instincts come out; prompting her to fight more wildly than most others of the pack. She is extremely protective of those she deems to be part of her pack or 'family', and does not back down from perceived dangers easily - being firm, sometimes to a fault, if she thinks that something needs to be done. To those who just meet her, she sometimes can give off the impression of being a bit shy or wary, or even standoffish. She doesn't appreciate being up close to those she doesn't know unless she absolutely has to, and she oftentimes puts herself between a stranger and those dear to her if she thinks that someone is suspicious or dangerous. It takes time and patience before she can grow to trust someone new - and if that trust is lost, it is difficult to gain it back from her. To those who she has warmed up to or trusts though, she proves to be calm and serious yet plenty friendly; acting a bit as the 'big sister' to those around her, especially those younger than her. Despite that seriousness though, she is able to be quite playful, and she is never one to pass up a chance to playwrestle or tussle with her siblings when they are willing. She doesn't tend to be very picky in any particular regards - having learned to be adaptable and to make do with what you got from very early on. This also ties into a slight hoarding tendency and need for stability that she has - which leads to her being antsy, if she feels that they aren't doing well in terms of food or shelter. However, she does have a preference for sweet foods, and seems to like cushy objects to snuggle up to when she can help it. Rain, though, is one of her least favorite weathers. EVOLUTION LINEFighting Style: Tenacious and protective, Anne's style focuses on making sure that hits don't land on her packmates - and that those who do attempt to strike at allies are thoroughly punished for it. While she is technically no more or less durable than any average Rookie, her tenacity means that as long as she is acting to protect those close to her, she won't go down quite that easily. Digimon Name: Princess Default Form: Offmon Gender: Female (She/Them) Skills/Talents:- Though one would not expect it from her lazy nature, Princess is good at figuring out how to solve a task as quickly and efficiently as possible... albeit this may be because of her desire to get back to sleep as soon as possible. - In addition to this, Princess has surprising amounts of strength, out of the pups in the pack; hefting large objects around like they're nothing. - Princess is also able to make little pocket dimensions for storage or a place to hide out in. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: Princess, at first glances, isn't a very active digimon. She almost always looks and sounds sleepy or tired, and she is quite prone to dozing off; especially when there's nothing going on. If her sleep is disturbed, she tends to grumpily grumble at the offender, though is also typically cooperative if something is asked of her, being rather docile normally. If someone asks something of her, she tends to get it over with as quicky and cleanly as possible so that she can get back to sleep; sometimes resulting in her surprising people with just how active and efficient she can actually be...! In the occasional moments that Princess isn't sleepy though, it isn't uncommon for her to be glued at the hip with Duchess. They both regard each other like twin sisters, in having hatched alongside each other - and as a result, they both share an especially close bond. Princess is especially tolerant of Duchess' excitable nature, and is typically willing to play when she asks. In addition to this, if Duchess is hurt or frightened, Princess tends to be surprisingly quick to act; her tiredness near-instantly melting away, in lieu of her becoming aggressively protective of her sister! Princess, overall, likes to be spoilt though - even if she is okay with making do with what she has, she enjoys being pampered in every which way. She likes high quality food, she likes comfy beds, and she enjoys getting plenty of grooming and massaging. She also enjoys seeing Duchess being treated to similar pampering, even if the Gazimon has a hard time sitting still for such luxuries. Certainly, the best way to win this grumpy little pup over, is to treat her and her sister both like the royalty they are...! Personal History: Though Duchess and Princess were both born from different eggs in the Village of Beginnings - likely from different parents or past lives - they regarded each other as sisters from the beginning. Both due to the fact that they had hatched at around the same time, but also due to the fact that they were both born the same species - being Zurumon. Opposites even from the start, they both were peas in a pod despite this; and even when they grew up into Rookies and left the Village, they would stick together. However, the two sisters were - admittedly - a bit aimless in what to do. Princess desired a luxurious life, yet lacked any particular drive to seek it herself - meanwhilst Duchess was happy just as she was, and had too much energy to just sit around and do nothing! As a result, the duo would end up traveling and wandering mostly aimlessly - going from town to town, village to village, to see jsut what they could find in the way of odd jobs and the like. Eventually, these wanderings would even be how they met Ruffian - the Gaomon scaring off a couple of digimon who attempted to mug the duo, as they ended up wandering through Terminus. Thanks to Duchess' unerring cheeriness, though, the gruff canid digimon would decide to join them - making the aimless duo, into an equally-aimless (though thankfully more capable of protecting oneself) trio.
EVOLUTION LINEFighting Style: A sleepy little tank, Princess is able to take hits and dish them out - even if she is not the most evasive of sorts - and even nap off the worst of her injuries and ailments if need be by briefly hiding out in a pocket dimension of her own creation! Truly, this child seems to hide plenty of potential to lend to xroses, beneath her lazy exterior.... FreshSpecies: Zurumon Appearance: Attribute: None Family/ies: N/A Type: Slime Digivolves To: Pagumon In-TrainingSpecies: Pagumon Appearance: Attribute: None Family/ies: N/A Type: Lesser Digivolves From: Zurumon Digivolves To: Offmon RookieSpecies: Offmon Appearance: Attribute: Free Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Metal Empire Type: Beast Man Abilities: [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Handy Dimensions: Princess tends to keep her belongings in one of her pocket dimensions; acting as an Infinistore, for all intents and purposes. In addition to this, she is able to make a pocket dimension that she and/or allies can hide away into outside of combat, that looks almost like a cozy bedroom on the inside. The exit to this is always at the point that the entrance was created, inhabitants are forcibly ejected when the dimension is closed, and Princess is only able to maintain one such pocket dimension at a time. [PASSIVE] Slow but Steady: Princess is much more of a powerhouse than her slow and easygoing nature may imply; being able to lift and throw around things as large (if not larger) than herself with ease, and barely flinching at most standard attacks! However, although her overall speed is alright, she lacks in acceleration and dodging on the fly. Increases Attack and Defense both by 30%, and reduces Evasion by 30% [ABILITY] Power Nap: Princess creates and ducks into a pocket dimension, and proceeds to take a cozy nap within. Though she's taking a full nap from her perspective, only a few seconds passes from the battle's perspective before she leaves the pocket dimension and is ready to resume the fight! Greatly heals Princess, and resolves all temporary effects on her (such as buffs/debuffs) as if the duration had passed whilst Princess was in her pocket dimension. [Once Per Thread] [ATTACK] Wormhole Strike: Princess opens a pair of connected wormholes - one beside herself, and the other beside her opponent - and punches through the wormholes to attack her enemy from a distance! Due to the unpredictable nature of this attack, it ignores active shields and blocks. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Sleepy Jab: Sauntering up to her opponent in a lazy and carefree fashion, Princess strikes at the enemy with a sudden suckerpunch! Digimon Name: Duchess Default Form: Gazimon Gender: Female (She/Her) Skills/Talents: - Duchess' electric nature makes her sensitive to changes in the weather; in particular, about whether a storm is approaching or not. She is also able to sense nearby electronics! - Duchess, though she lacks traction, is as fast - if not faster - than Anne and Ettie both on her feet, zipping about without a care in the world! - Her cheery and jolly nature, finally, often does wonders in keeping the pack's morale up. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: Duchess, despite her regal name, is a simple canine with simple needs. All she wants in life is good food, a warm place to sleep, and plenty of friends and family to surround herself with and play with..! Though she can certainly appreciate luxury and pampering, she is just as happy without it as she is with as long as her needs are met. She is friendly, playful, and easily excitable, and isn't afraid to greet a friend by trying to playwrestle with them. Even in all of her excitement though, Duchess is surprisingly well behaved for the most part. Certainly, she can easily get carried away and get a little too hyperactive; but she is also an utter people-pleaser. The favorite thing in the world, in her opinion. is receiving praise from the people she likes! (Which is most people, honestly.) Being praised tends to be one of the things that leads to her getting carried away and hyperactive, however; and when she does get too excited, she sometimes forgets just how much electricity is coursing through her at that given moment...! One of the people she is most closely bonded with though, would be Princess; the both of them having hatched alongside each other. As a result of this, Duchess rarely ever leaves the Offmon's side whenever Princess is out and about. In addition to this, Duchess is surprisingly mindful of herself around Princess - making sure to not be too loud and hyperactive around her, so that her sister is able to get plenty of quality rest. Whenever Duchess gets hurt or unnerved though, Princess is one of her go-tos for reassurance and comfort. Due to being rather modest overall, Duchess doesn't tend to be picky - just wanting her needs for good food, water, shelter, and family to be fulfilled to be happy. However, she also has an appreciation for the little things. She loves the smell of the rain, she loves how pretty flowers can be, and she also loves curling up next to a warm fire. Duchess, additionally, enjoys getting to get out and run, and play with everyone that she loves! EVOLUTION LINEFighting Style: Fragile but hard to hit, Duchess is a bit of an annoying opponent to fight; especially when her ability to paralyze her opponents with Taser Jolt comes into the picture. Zipping about, she prefers to alternate striking from afar and coming in close to swipe at the enemy with her claws; all the while using her superior speed to stay just out of the enemy's reach! Her evasion is increased by 50%, but her defense is reduced by 30% [ABILITY] Tazer Jolt: Duchess fires off a jolt of electricity at the enemy that - though harmless - causes their muscles to freeze up and slow down, reducing their evasion and accuracy by 30% each for 2 turns. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Thundercall: Briefly forming a thundercloud in the sky above, Duchess sends down a lightning bolt upon her target! Digimon Name: Ruffian Default Form: Gaomon Gender: Male (He/Him) Skills/Talents: - Ruffian knows about every underhanded trick in the book to winning a fight - and is not afraid to pull them out as need be, to survive. - He also knows how to scavenge and get by on the streets, from finding food to a place to sleep. - His rough and tough nature means he's good at intimidating others to get his way, even despite his own size. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: Ruffian, as his name might imply, is quite the ruffian. He is rough and tough, being combative and oppositional; though also, due to his serious nature, being no-nonsense and stubborn, and not being one to calm down or back down very easily. He, in a way, acts a bit like the stereotype of a Japanese delinquent, both in his mannerisms, and in that he isn't opposed to looking for a fight from other people, and in throwing his weight around where he sees necessary. Being the smallest of the pack at the time of joining, and having grown up a bit of a runt, Ruffian feels the need to prove himself the strongest of the pack, and to prove himself just as capable as those bigger than him. In the event that he is lacking in some regard, he feels the urge to immediately make up for it in some way; either by improving whatever he is lacking in, or to otherwise excel in something else. Thus, even if he is small, he will make up for it in his strength of will and his might! As a result of this, Ruffian enjoys tussling with the pack on a regular occasion; be it playwrestling or sparring. He also is prone to being competitive in some regards; sometimes deciding he wishes to prove himself the better in some way, and either becoming confident and smug if he does prove himself capable... Or otherwise becoming disappointed and frustrated, being a sore loser if he fails at the competition. In the rare events that he is able to calm down, however, Ruffian likes to take it easy by sunning himself out in the open. He enjoys spicy meals, though dislikes overly sour or bitter foods greatly. He, additionally, seems to be surprisingly protective of his younger or weaker peers; acting like a rough and tough big brother to them, if one of them is in need of aid! Personal History: Ruffian, for as far back as he could remember, had always been a bit of a runt. He was born on the smaller end of the scale, and even as he grew up, he always was on the smaller end of the scale; something that he had been teased for for much of his life. As a result of this teasing, Ruffian would quickly learn to lash out to defend his own dignity and pride; though in turn, this meant that he didn't make many friends very easily, being regarded amongst his peers as a bit of a scary digimon. In growing up into a Rookie and leaving on his own, he would eventually find himself involved amongst other childrens' gangs in Terminus; moving from group to group and doing whatever he felt necessary to get by. He garnered a bit of a reputation for his small but mighty demeanor, as a result; further encouraging him to keep up his overconfident and combatitive attitude. Eventually though, he would end up meeting Duchess and Princess - a couple of digimon whom were travelers. Though he would never admit that he felt some form of kinship with them - due to both their shared nature as canine digimon, and also due to Duchess' unerring friendliness, even in the face of his usually prickly nature - he would eventually decide to join the duo; the three of them getting by in the world, in their own little way...

Digimon Name: Aurien Default Form: Gomamon Gender: Male (He/Him) Skills/Talents: - Being one of the only aquatic digimon in Ettie's and Anne's pack, Aurien is able to swim about with ease, and is good at holding his breath underwater as need be! - Aurien is good at putting on theatrics and acts where he sees fit - all to further emphasize how much of a hero he desires to be! - Aurien is brave - although this bravery can sometimes veer into full bullheadedness. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: You could say that Aurien is a bit of a chuunbiyo. In admiring the heroics that his relatives and family friends have come to be known for, the young Gomamon - ever since hatching - decided for himself that he, too, would strive to be a hero. Eager and daring, Aurien puts on the act of a hero with as much enthusiasm as he can muster - believing in the idea of faking it until you make it; though despite the terms 'act' or 'faking', his intentions are very well genuine. He just enjoys believing himself to be a future hero as well, really! And he truly, dearly, wants to be as wonderful of a hero as those close to him! His hero acts begin to be seen as a bit chuunbiyo-ish, however, in just how energetic and theatrical they are. To those watching him, one would think that they were watching a cheesy passion-project superhero or sentai show! And perhaps, to a certain degree, that is the point - Aurien wanting to have fun with his acts, and spending free time to himself trying to practice and perfect these acts. He won't recite his memorized lines or act out his routines, until he knows that they are perfect! Aside from his heroic attitude, though... Aurien could also be seen as a bit of a daredevil. He enjoys being a bit of a thrillseeker after having grown up in the generally safe and calm Ys - desiring a taste of the excitement and adventure that his family always comes home with tales of! In this regard, he can sometimes be a bit rash and impulsive, and even stubborn - but it does play hand in hand with his desires to become a hero in the world. He has to go find evil and baddies to stop somehow, anyways! When he isn't being a rambunctious little hero though, Aurien can be surprisingly mild to those outside of his family - being surprisingly unused to talking to people, without putting on the act of a valiant hero. He can be slightly shy or sheepish, but nonetheless as genuine and determined in how he feels as always. And much like a hero, he values being loyal and honorable, putting the needs of the weak first, before himself. On top of that though, Aurien has an interest in a number of things; he loves stories, be it something he listens to or something he reads, and he also enjoys writing and telling stories of his own. He wants to, one day, be the one bringing home stories of adventures to any little siblings, or nieces and nephews! He also enjoys playwrestling and playfighting when nothing exciting is going on, as a way to burn off his boundless energy. He loves nothing more though, than putting a smile on the faces of those around him. All in all, Aurien is quite the well-meaning seal, who wishes to be just like his elders. Personal History: One of the many children born to Hikaru and Owen - the 14th, to be exact - Aurien grew up surrounded by people that you might call heroes. His parents were heroes, his older siblings were heroes, and friends to the family - people he would call either fellow siblings or aunts and uncles - were heroes as well. Digimon and humans who had done good in the world in one way or another, who had gone on at least one adventure with stories to tell about it... From his youth, Aurien admired the heroes in his family. From his youth, the young Gomamon would aspire to become a hero as well, much like they did; wanting to embody all the qualities that he sees both in them, as well as heroes in media, in hopes that he, too, would grow up to become a hero like them. As a result, it wasn't too uncommon to see him sparring with older family members, or otherwise consume plenty of superhero and sentai style media from both the digital world and analog world alike. All the while, he'd dream of the day that'd come, when he'd feel ready to set out into the wide open world and become a hero in his own right. With the arrival of the Lux Harmony festival though, there would come an opportunity; an opportunity to befriend some certain canines, and make his first steps outside of the city of Ys...

As a result, Alexander is also well versed in varying funeral and passing rites; being respectful and perhaps even reverent towards the dead. - Alexander is able to track down the dead and undead, as well as identify digimon who have killed others before. - Of the younger pups, Alexander is reasonably well-read; having a good amount of overall intellect. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: Snarky, vaguely smug, and otherwise rather unsocial, Alexander is seen as a bit of a loner more often than not. They dislike dealing with social situations - avoiding it when they can help it - and are very choosy about who they allow to get close to them, out of a sense of rigid boundaries and preference for peace and quiet. When they do interact with others, they tend to be blunt and upfront about their thoughts - often to the chagrin of the person on the recieving end, given that Alexander is prone to pointing out flaws that they believe to be a potential risk to one's life, be it their own or someone elses's. As far as respect goes, they only pay respect to three things - those close to them, the dead, and those who they believe have earned it. Family, and their few close friends, are those that Alexander feels most relaxed around, due to them not draining their social battery. The dead are worth respect, because death is a scary thing - Alexander recognizes this, and is able to show a surprising amount of sympathy for those who have passed away. And those who prove to be wise and strong individuals, Alexander is able to show respect towards as well. Those who are able to break through their antisocial shell may not initially see much difference in their behavior, though they show their appreciation to those close to them in simple things. Their criticisms are saved for but the most severe things and are oftentimes spoken more gently, they like to leave small gifts, and Alexander even may seek out the individual's company without having to be approached first. In this way, people sometimes may compare them to a cat as opposed to their doglike Grimon form. During downtime, Alexander enjoys to read books of all kinds - be they fiction or nonfiction. They, additionally, have a fondness for gardening and flowers, even if they are on the move much too often to really have a garden of their own. Finally, it isn't uncommon to see Alexander in meditation or prayer - sometimes lighting an incense, in respect for the dead that they seek to vanguard. Personal History: Having been born and grown up in a temple dedicated to Anubimon, Alexander - from a young age - was taught in the teachings of those who worshipped the Judge of the Dead. The concept of the cycle of life and death - as well as its importance - was instilled in them from a young age; as well as the threat that comes when that cycle is broken. They were, from youth, raised to be a disciple - a hunter of the undead - raised lovingly, but with an emphasis on these teachings. Though being an only child, and having a snarky and sometimes antisocial nature, both meant that they spent portions of their childhood by their lonesome... They'd nonetheless eventually end up befriending Barbara and Brandon, when the two pups were taken in by the temple; and in doing so, they would agree to partner with Barbara as a Disciple and Guardian, so that they both could watch out for eachother in the hunt against malicious undead when they would - eventually - both set off from the temple together. To most digimon struck by this, this deals little to no damage, only leaving them chilled to the bone. However, to digimon who are undead in nature or inflicted with Mark the Dead, they are dealt great amounts of damage, as the flames sear at their very souls. Digivolves From: Peti Meramon Digivolves To: Shuckmon (Xros w/ Barbara) Digimon Name: Barbara Default Form: Dobermon Gender: Fem Nonbinary (She/Them) Skills/Talents: - Barbara has a greatly reduced sense of pain, to the point that she barely registers it when she becomes injured, a stalwart juggernaut. - Her large size allows her enough strength to carry individuals around, and gives her an imposing presence. - Her typically and relaxed nature makes her surprisingly approachable, past her otherwise intimidating appearance; and as a result, she is surprisingly good around children who are not frightened of her. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: Quiet and stoic, Barbara is not always easy to read - going with the flow, and taking things at her own pace when she pleases. Her neutral expression sometimes means that when one takes the rest of her appearance as a large Dobermon into question, that she appears less approachable than she actually is! And when her temper occasionally rises, when protecting those around her, this only becomes even more apparent. However, beneath her relaxed and stoic nature, Barbara is actually quite friendly and easygoing - having a relaxed personality that makes it easy for her to get along with most digimon. She doesn't see a point in worrying over the little details in many ways - as long as everything is okay in the end. She, additionally, could be described as a bit big sisterly - lightly teasing those she is especially close to, when she is in a humorous mood. This side of her is especially apparent, towards digimon who are smaller or younger than herself (which ends up being a lot of digimon.) However, when a fight arises, a whole other side of her is shown - a more vicious side, that seems almost out of place against the usually calm and friendly Barbara. This is where she makes her hidden temper known - and this is where she makes her protective streak known, as well. She is determined to fight as hard and as long as she needs to to fulfill any expectations of her - willing to fight to the death if necessary. It is part of her role as a Guardian, after all, to protect the Disciples. During downtime though, Barbara has an interest in sunbathing - enjoying warm climates - and also likes to read with Alexander. Despite her bony shape as a Dobermon making her not the best cuddle buddy, she doesn't mind being used as a pillow or heater by smaller digimon. In fact, as long as a digimon is careful about the sharp and pointy bits that she bears as a Dobermon, she's perfectly fine with even a baby digimon deciding to teeth on her ears or tail, without even batting an eye. Personal History: Older sister to a pair of siblings, Barbara and her brother originally lived in a temple to Anubimon after running away from home for reasons that neither individual would elaborate upon - growing up in the care of the disciples that lived there. For being a temple dedicated to the cycle of life and death, things would be surprisingly comfortable for the siblings - and it is here that they would meet Alexander as a childhood friend, Barbara in particular sharing a close bond with the Grimon out of the two. Alongside Alexander making the decision to become a Disciple, Barbara would decide to become a Guardian; her role thusly being to protect them from those who still live, while the disciple would handle the undead. And when the Grimon left to fulfill their duty to Anubimon, Barbara would not be far behind - ready to protect her friend and charge, and fulfill her own duty as a Guardian. Thus, the duo would set out from the temple to wander together - with the intention of punishing the undead who decide to wreak havoc upon the world - and in the process of hunting down a ghost causing chaos in Whitewater, the two would soon meet a certain pack...

If an enemy chooses to attack her this round, this effect does nothing to them, and the smouldering flames go out. However, if the enemy takes any action towards any other digimon, a powerful column of hellfire rises up from beneath their feet, dealing large amounts of damage! Digimon Name: Scarlet Default Form: Kobomon Gender: Female..? (She/They/Him) Skills/Talents: - Despite having lost many of her memories of her past life, Scarlet still retains her skills with blades; making her appear a bit of a child prodigy next to her fellow packmates. - She, additionally, retains plenty of seafaring skills; being surprisingly good with managing ships, and guiding others like a captain might a crew. - Finally, Scarlet has a surprisingly good eye for treasure and appraising it; seeing the value in even what might seem like ancient junk to others. Holosuit:(Click for Source)Personality: At first glance, it's clear that there's something a bit different about Scarlet, compared to the average digimon. Quiet, blank-faced, it's near-impossible to read any particular emotions from her during normal interactions. At most, one might be able to elicit a too-wide and too-eager grin from her, or a curious tilt of her head, and the vaguest flicker of underlying emotions - but more often than not, she is silent to the point of sometimes being mistaken for mute, and there is barely anything to read from her. It is like she has become a blank slate, ever since rising as a ghost, And in a way, she is. Without most of her memories, Scarlet has become a near-blank slate; only the vaguest of impressions from her past life having remained as a groundwork. This means that she is a bit impressionable at times, and there may even be a point where she'll grow into an entirely new person of her own, but... For now, it's hard to say, really, what the young Kobomon's deal is. The only time that one is most likely to see her old self, is when combat arises - and when the chance for a fight does come, she becomes an entirely different person. Wild, unrestrained, and absolutely uncontrollable, Scarlet flies into a battle frenzy at the first sign of combat - relishing nothing more than the clash of steel against steel, and the beating in her false core that comes from a good fight. In fact, even when there are no fights going on, Scarlet is prone to trying to find someone to pick fights with when she is bored; this seeming to be one of the handful of remaining passions that linger in her fragmented and distant memories. Another couple of passions, are that of sailing, and treasure. She seems to enjoy sailing greatly - and if the opportunity arises, she'll waste no time in attempting to take the helm and leading the charge out onto the ocean - quickly shifting towards directing the rest of the pack, as if they were her crewmates! Additionally, she seems extremely good at appraising treasure - and also prone to hoarding it, if enabled. If shown something of potential value, she's quick to identify it and tell you just how many bits you could get from it if you haggled hard enough... ... However, that being said, there are also things that elicit more negative reactions in her. The two biggest things, are storms, and the notions of drowning... Both tend to make her extremely restless and agitated, for reasons that she is unable to put into words. If she doesn't have something else to distract herself with, however - be it sailing, or some shiny coins to count - she is prone to instead trying to pick fights with others to distract herself instead. Personal History: Before Scarlet became a ghost, she - quite obviously - had to die. And before she had originally died, Scarlet was the captain of a pirate crew; a band of ruffians who enjoyed nothing more than raiding ships and smaller oceanside villages, both for the thrill of combat, and the thrill of earning gold. And of those pirates, Scarlet was the one who relished battle the most - always being the one to lead charges into the fray, ready to cry havoc! They lived quite the successful life as a pirate crew, for a time. However, things would eventually shift for the worse when the Demon Lords - Leviamon in particular - would awaken. Once tranquil oceans would suddenly become stormy and choppy, as if envious that ships once sailed them so peacefully and with such ease. The crew would quickly become lost at sea, and the ship would be battered by waves and howling winds, leading to constant needs for repairs and bailing to avoid sinking. Between the constant work, the lack of any signs of nearby land, depleting supplies, and perhaps even Leviamon's own existence, grumblings of mutiny would surface amongst Scarlet's crew. Clearly, the proud pirate queen must've had stash aplenty to last her this whole ordeal, no? Clearly, the proud pirate queen hadn't paid them well enough for putting them through such risks! The fact of the matter though, was that Scarlet was a surprisingly fair captain to her crew. She had done her damndest to provide for them - to the point that out of them all, she was perhaps the worst off! But this proved to be a mistake for Scarlet - for all good intentions pave the road to hell. The crew would rise in a riot, and believed her to be hiding some stash somewhere, somewhere that they didn't know. When she told them that she didn't have anything that she could spare them, though... ... The crew wasted no time in throwing her overboard, and taking the ship for themselves; leaving her to be devoured by the waves, as if punishing her for taking the once-calm waters for granted. When she inevitably died in those murky waters though, she did not pass quietly and peacefully. Why? She had asked herself, hints of envy creeping into her collapsing mind as her core unraveled. Why am I the one who has to die?
Why was I sent to my death, when I have so much more ahead of me...?She clung to her life up to her last breath and even past that, not wanting to - perhaps even refusing to - die. Even after her body and very core broke down into data, leaving only her beloved blades to sink to the bottom of the ocean, she did not die. No - even as her mind deteriorated, without reformatting and rebirth to mend it back together, she did not die. Instead, she remained - clinging to the only parts of her that remained, in those daggers that any Kobomon held dearly. For a long time thus, she entered a state of dormancy - her blades drifting with the currents and waves of the ocean, with only the barest amount of subconsciousness present, guiding her to where she felt - knew - land would be. And eventually, during a stormy night in Whitewater, a Kobomon would wash ashore - blades in hand. She had no true memories of who she was before, or how she got here. Use moves that state they can be used while wielded. - For the purposes of damage dealt, the wielder's own attack stat is used by both individuals. - Damage taken and pain received are split equally between both individuals, before defense is taken into consideration. Non-damaging effects still affect the intended target normally. - The wielder gains the benefits of Ethereal Edge, with an almost ghostly and wispy effect running along their limbs. - Scarlet and the wielder are linked telepathically and empathetically; being able to communicate mentally with ease. However, the wielder may also experience intense spikes in their emotions, as a result of Scarlet's own intense and battle-happy nature. [ABILITY] Rising Emotions: Scarlet's (or her wielder's) excitement continues to rise, the desire for a wilder and wilder fight fueling the strikes behind her blades! He is oftentimes vigilant of his surroundings - partially due to his brother being far more oblivious about their surroundings - and typically takes a rather logical approach to things, being one to think before he acts more often than not. Especially in a fight or otherwise dangerous situation, each of Adhara's movements and attacks are carefully chosen and deliberate, as he tries to think three steps ahead wherever possible. Despite his typically distant-seeming demeanor though, Adhara is surprisingly accepting of affection and attention from others - and he tends to return said affection and attention in his own little way. He isn't as much of the antisocial loner that one may think, and in fact likes having people that he can relax and chill out around; especially if there are people to help keep Sirius out of trouble for long enough that he can relax in the first place. During downtime though, Adhara enjoys to sing and hum to himself from time to time - especially if he is by his lonesome, or otherwise with Sirius. He also enjoys going for leisurely strolls, practicing his holy abilities, as well as learning about new cultures. Adhara, however, took to these teachings more easily; and showed plenty of potential as a holy digimon. Thus, when the two became old enough to take care of themselves - reaching Rookie stage - the duo would be given the suggestion to set out into the world, and to earn experience of their own, just as their parents did. In the event of a multi-target or AOE attack, more targets hit than missed counts as a hit - and vice versa - and tied numbers default to misses. [ABILITY] Wild Tail Chase: Sirius becomes distracted by whatever is going on at this very moment by the sheer wonder of Sweet Yggdrassil, He Has A Tail! Upon making this glorious discovery, he does what any self respecting dog would do, and proceeds to chase his tail in circles to the point of becoming dizzy! For the next 2 turns, his unpredictable stumbling and swaying reduces his accuracy by 30%, but also increases his evasion by 75%. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Chakram Twirl: Reshaping his collar into a large metallic chakram, Sirius uses his ferrokinesis to levitate and twirl it around himself, to slash at 1-3 enemies of his choice! Abilities: [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Wildspeech: Gururumon's close link with the wilderness allows her to communicate with feral digimon in a way that the average civilized digimon can't, through an almost animalistic empathy. Gururumon is able to speak to, ask questions, or make requests of a feral digimon as long as the concepts and subjects involved are simple, as well as accurately read how a feral digimon might be feeling from their body language and vocalizations. [PASSIVE] Swift as the Wind: Gururumon is swift and fleet on her feet - being able to move quickly, and sometimes even make leaps and bounds or tumble her way out of falls that a normal Gururumon couldn't, almost as if the wind itself is carrying her along. Increases her evasion by 30% [PASSIVE] Fight or Flight: Normally, Gururumon appears like quite the lovable canine; someone who wouldn't hurt a fly, even if she enjoys playwrestling and roughhousing. When pushed to her limits whilst believing herself to be in danger, however, her bestial instincts kick in, and she begins to fight like a wild animal; increasing her attack by 50% when she falls under 50% health. [ABILITY] Run with the Pack: Gururumon picks up to 3 digimon (herself being an option,) and emboldens them; using the wind to aid their speed just as it aids her! Increases targets' evasion by 20% for 2 turns. [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Howling Gales: This attack can be charged for 0-2 turns; during which Gururumon takes in a deep breath, and begins to focus; the wind around her picking up exponentially, and her evasion being halved. The wind continues to build in strength, before Gururumon releases every bit of energy building up within and around her in a powerful howl. This attack, once released, (harmlessly) knocks back any digimon near her in an outwards burst of wind proportional to the turns spent charging, and sends out blades of slicing winds at anywhere from 1-5 foes of her choice. [4 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Cutting Whirlwind: Gururumon sends out a blast of swirling wind that cuts the enemy like knives, with heightened accuracy! [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Wolf Swipe: Using the wind to carry her along, Gururumon darts in and slashes at the foe with her claws! However, in addition to this, she gains a tricky teleport and a sturdy coat of fur to further aid in warding off enemies... Abilities: [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Crystalkinesis: BlackGarurumon - both for the purpose of her moves, and out of combat - is able to produce dark, glittering, crystals akin to obsidian or onyx; shaping them for her needs, whatever they may be. When broken, these crystals shatter into dust that eventually fades into data. [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Wildspeech: BlackGarurumon's close link with the wilderness allows her to communicate with feral digimon in a way that the average civilized digimon can't, through an almost animalistic empathy. BlackGarurumon is able to speak to, ask questions, or make requests of a feral digimon as long as the concepts and subjects involved are simple, as well as accurately read how a feral digimon might be feeling from their body language and vocalizations. [PASSIVE] For the Pack: Though BlackGarurumon is technically as durable as any average Champion, her tenacity and determination knows no bounds when it comes to acting in the name of the pack she leads. BlackGarurumon has 50% increased defense when intercepting attacks meant for allies. [PASSIVE] Obsidian Fur: One would think that obsidian is fragile - though BlackGarurumon's fur, glittering and shining as it is, is surprisingly sturdy! For the purposes of damage taken, BlackGarurumon ignores half of buffs/passives that increase an enemy's attack. [ABILITY] Refraction Barrier: BlackGarurumon raises a crystal shield for herself or an ally; blocking 1 Champion-stage attack, or 25% of an Ultimate-stage attack, before shattering. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ABILITY] Mirror Mirror: BlackGarurumon conjures two obsidian mirrors that act as portals for either herself, or an ally - passing through the reflection of one, and exiting out the other; acting as a dodge/teleport move. [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Protective Retribution: BlackGarurumon intercepts an attack targeting an ally, and allows herself to be struck; using the opportunity to deliver a powerful and accurate tackle in retaliation. The damage dealt is proportional to the cooldown of the attack intercepted. [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Obsidian Claw: Augmenting her claws and fangs with a layer of razor-sharp crystal, BlackGarurumon leaps and claws at the foe with surprising agility. However, Ruffian's presence in the xros seems to have also given ProtoGarummon a bit of a temper, in the form of a strong retaliation move! [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Sharpened Fangs: Upon being struck by an attack, ProtoGarummon retaliates with a sharp and powerful bite to the enemy's weak point - using the grip to follow up by throwing the enemy into the ground or away from themself! [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Cutting Sandstorm: ProtoGarummon sends out a blast of slicing winds and razor-sharp shards of crystal, that shreds the enemy like knives. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Obsidian Blades: Brandishing a pair of obsidian blades set in their back and using the wind to carry them along, ProtoWolfmon darts in and slices at the foe! Digivolves From: ProtoWolfmon + Ruffian Logamon (Duchess + Princess)Appearance: Attribute: Data Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Metal Empire Type: Beast Man Fighting Style: Slow and steady wins the race, in Logamon's opinion; taking plenty from Princess' book in being a sturdy tank who takes and dishes out hits equally well. However, Duchess also adds an additional factor to Logamon's moves; changing them from purely physical to electrical, allowing Logamon to use a nasty once-per-thread attack when her patience runs out! Abilities: [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Handy Dimensions: Logamon tends to keep her belongings in one of her pocket dimensions; acting as an Infinistore, for all intents and purposes. In addition to this, she is able to make a pocket dimension that she and/or allies can hide away into outside of combat, that looks almost like a cozy bedroom on the inside. The exit to this is always at the point that the entrance was created, inhabitants are forcibly ejected when the dimension is closed, and Logamon is only able to maintain one such pocket dimension at a time. [PASSIVE] Slow but Steady: Logamon is much more of a powerhouse than her slow and easygoing nature may imply; being able to lift and throw around things as large (if not larger) than herself with ease, and barely flinching at most standard attacks! However, although her overall speed is alright, she lacks in acceleration and dodging on the fly. Increases Attack and Defense both by 30%, and reduces Evasion by 30% [ABILITY] Power Nap: Logamon creates and ducks into a pocket dimension, and proceeds to take a cozy nap within. Though she's taking a full nap from her perspective, only a few seconds passes from the battle's perspective before she leaves the pocket dimension and is ready to resume the fight! Greatly heals Logamon, and resolves all temporary effects on her (such as buffs/debuffs) as if the duration had passed whilst Logamon was in her pocket dimension. [Once Per Thread] [ABILITY] Turn the Tables: Logamon catches an enemy's same-stage attack by opening a wormhole, and opens an exit wormhole elsewhere to attempt redirecting it at someone else! Alternatively, if an ally's attack misses (and is not blocked,) it can also be used to force the enemy to dodge it a second time. Uses the original user's attack, and Logamon's accuracy, for the purposes of damage/dodging. [4 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Lazy Laser: On the first turn, Logamon begins charging an electrical attack, having 50% reduced evasion whilst charging. On the second turn, Logamon opens a multitude of wormholes across the battlefield, and attempts to obliterate any opponents present in one fell swoop; firing a massive electrical laser into one wormhole, and out every other wormhole - using them to aim and split the laser between all enemies present! Pierces through active defenses like shields/blocks. [Once Per Thread] [ATTACK] Wormhole Strike: Logamon opens a pair of connected wormholes - one beside herself, and the other beside her opponent - and punches through the wormholes to attack her enemy from a distance! Due to the unpredictable nature of this attack, it ignores active shields and blocks. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Sleepy Jab: Sauntering up to her opponent in a lazy and carefree fashion, Logamon strikes at the enemy with a sudden suckerpunch! Digivolves From: Duchess + Princess Gaogamon (Ruffian + Adhara)Species: Gaogamon Appearance: Fighting Style: Much like the base Ruffian, Gaogamon shines greatest in getting a single opponent all to himself - and in addition to this, a touch of holy elements from Adhara offers Gaogamon not only an additional edge against demonic or evil digimon, but also some survivability! Otherwise though, he functions much the same - taunting the enemy and getting in close with physical attacks, only to retaliate when they strike him! [PASSIVE] I Can Take This!: Gaogamon is a prideful canine, who is at his best in one-on-one fights; or at least, in fights where he is allowed to single out a target that only he gets to fight. If Gaogamon is the only one to target a given enemy that round (not including AOEs,) he deals 40% increased damage to them! [PASSIVE] Not Done Yet!: Gaogamon is tenacious beyond belief - to the point where even if he is supposed to go down, he refuses to go out without a fight! If Gaogamon is struck by an attack that would incapacitate him, he instead continues fighting for the next 3 turns as a surge of holy energy gives him a temporary burst of energy - only collapsing after these turns elapse. If he is healed enough to make up for any damage received during this time, the effect ends early and he is allowed to remain standing; but this effect cannot trigger a second time in the same fight. [ABILITY] Eyes On Me!: Gaogamon makes a mocking and taunting display at the enemy as he gets in their face; taunting them to only target him - whilst also increasing his own attack and defense both by 30% - for 2 turns. [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Ripple Strike: Channeling holy energy through the scarf-claws that Gaogamon has, he stretches them out to lash at 1-2 enemies of his choice; this attack dealing equal amounts of physical and holy damage, as well as dealing additional damage against demonic/evil/dark digimon! [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Now THIS is a Punch!: Upon being struck by an attack, Gaogamon attempts to one-up the attacker with a single powerful strike to the jaw! They are most powerful against such digimon - although have gained further abilities to aid in this, namely a couple of protective abilities from Barbara, as well as the ability to curse a target with the sheer concept of entropy itself... Abilities: [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Scent of Death: Shuckmon, quite literally, can smell death. They are able to tell how close other digimon are to death, are able to identify and perceive the undead (ghosts, vampires, etc.,) and are able to smell the scent of death that clings to digimon who have killed others before. [PASSIVE] Anubis' Disciple: Shuckmon's existence is to hunt the dead, so that Anubismon may judge their souls; their very presence instills fear in undead digimon of all kinds - be they skeletal, ghostly, vampiric, or otherwise. Shuckmon takes 50% less damage from the attacks of undead digimon. [PASSIVE; RAM XROS] Unflinching: Much like the base Barbara, Shuckmon has a strange quirk to their body - namely, that their sense of pain is very weak, to the point that they sometimes barely even notice that they've been wounded. On top of this, their large size and stalwart demeanor make it hard to push them around! Shuckmon is immune to knockback/being buffeted about, as well as effects that rely on pain, flinching, or startling them. [ABILITY] Blazing Cloak: Shuckmon is coated in blue flames - making them look even more like a beast from the underworld, and dealing dark damage to any enemies who come within melee range of them for the next 2 turns! [2 Turn Cooldown] [ABILITY] Mark the Dead: Shuckmon marks an enemy - typically upon the forehead - with a sigil of dark energy, that stands as an omen of the inevitable death that comes for all. Whilst marked, the enemy has 50% reduced defense for the next 2 turns. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ABILITY] Curse of Entropy: Shuckmon places a sinister curse upon the target - causing their body to reject any and all attempts to mend itself, including its own natural healing. For the next 2 turns, any and all effects that would heal the target instead deal damage to them. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Cù-sìth's Call: Shuckmon begins to bark three times - a sound that can be heard over a long distance, if one listens for it. As the first two barks sound, a blaze of dark flames begins to build up around Shuckmon; up until the third bark, where it proceeds to surge outwards, striking friend and foe alike. To most digimon struck by this, this deals little to no damage, only leaving them chilled to the bone. However, to digimon who are undead in nature or inflicted with Mark the Dead, they are dealt great amounts of damage, as the flames sear and rip away at their very souls. [4 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Flames of the Reaper: Shuckmon breathes out blue flames - much like the blaze that holds their body together. Despite appearances though, these are not normal flames - dealing dark damage instead of fire, and leaving a chilled feeling in their wake.... Digivolves From: Alexander + Barbara Cutlassmon (Scarlet + Sirius)Species: Cutlassmon Appearance: (Art by Yuukz)Fighting Style: Much like the base Scarlet, Cutlassmon prefers letting other digimon wield the blades that they inhabit; conferring a number of benefits, including their typeless damage and piercing capabilities. However, in the event that they are forced to fight as their own, they have a couple of new tricks up their sleeve - in the form of both a basic block, and a bleed-inflicting strike, thanks to Sirius! Attribute: Virus Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Nightmare Soldiers Type: Ghostly Beast Man Abilities: [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Phantasm: Cutlassmon isn't truly 'alive' in the same sense that most digimon are. In truth, they are actually an undead being - a ghost - with their true body being the pair of blades that they inhabit. To interact with the world, they project a ghostly apparition for a 'body' that wields themself. As a result, attacks to the projected body don't cause pain like it would if the swords were ever damaged - though it still drains their energy, to maintain the apparition while being attacked! And in the event that they run out of energy, they will become incapacitated like any other digimon - the body fading away, and the blades temporarily going inert. [NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Ferrokinesis: Cutlassmon is able to produce, manipulate, and reshape metal - being particularly specialized in reshaping the blades as necessary, to best suit them for any wielder. [PASSIVE; RAM XROS] Ethereal Edge: Cutlassmon's blades - much like the base Scarlet - have a supernatural quality to them; causing them to deal typeless damage, and allowing them to ignore 50% of all defenses, active or otherwise. [PASSIVE] Wielder: Though Cutlassmon typically wields themself by projecting an apparition-made-physical, these ghostly blades are just as content - if not moreso - to allow other digimon to wield them. Whilst being wielded by another digimon, the following rules are put in place: - Cutlassmon is unable to take any action, except to 1. Part from the wielder, or 2. Use moves that state they can be used while wielded. - For the purposes of damage dealt, the wielder's own attack stat is used by both individuals. - Damage taken and pain received are split equally between both individuals, before defense is taken into consideration. Non-damaging effects still affect the intended target normally. - The wielder gains the benefits of Ethereal Edge, with an almost ghostly and wispy effect running along their limbs. - Cutlassmon and the wielder are linked telepathically and empathetically; being able to communicate mentally with ease. However, the wielder may also experience intense spikes in their emotions, as a result of Scarlet's own intense and battle-happy nature, and Sirius' more jolly nature. [ABILITY] Bracing Parry: Cutlassmon crosses the swords in front of them, and uses their ferrokinesis to hold stalwart; blocking a single incoming Champion-level attack! [2 Turn Cooldown] [ABILITY] Rising Emotions: Cutlassmon's (or their wielder's) excitement continues to rise, the desire for a wilder and wilder fight fueling the strikes behind their blades! Increases Cutlassmon's attack by 50% for 2 turns. If used while being wielded, increases the wielder's attack by 50% for 2 turns instead. [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Berserk Spirit: Only usable when Cutlassmon is being wielded by another digimon - Cutlassmon's emotions and excitement rise to a fever pitch as they temporarily take control of their wielder during their turn (with player consent,) and has the wielder strike at a single enemy in a wild bloodlust! [3 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Bleeding Edge: Giving their blades a serrated and jagged edge, Cutlassmon strikes at the enemy - opening wounds that deal additional bleeding damage for the next 2 turns! [2 Turn Cooldown] [ATTACK] Ghost Dance: With an almost supernatural nimbleness, Cutlassmon strikes at the enemy with reckless abandon, in a flurry of wild slashes!
