A new adventure begins! [Completed]

"Yes, I am fine. I do appear to be made of metal, after all. Or should I say 'we'? I suppose it doesn't really matter in the end." Kokuwamon stated while getting back up on his feet, reassuring the Gomamon that he was okay. "It seems I simply need to get used to having actual arms and legs in this form. Nothing a little bit of practice won't fix. It is a pleasant surprise, but a surprise nonetheless."

"Oh, okay. It just took me by surprise is all. I didn't even know Digimon could fuse together like that." Hana said, reaching down to pick up her digivice off of the ground. After brushing the dirt off of it, she was glad to see that it was undamaged. "I'm surprised their Rookie form looks like a robot, though. Does that mean one or both of them will digivolve into a mechanical form? Ah, this isn't the time to focus on that. My partners digivolved! I'm so proud of them! Oh, I wish I had a camera with me!"

Hana ran over to Kokuwamon and immediately glomped him. Surprised by the sudden tackle-hug,
Kokuwamon reflexively jabbed her with an electrified pincer. "Power Surge! Whoops. Sorry, Hana."

After being shocked, Hana let go of Kokuwamon and fell to the ground.

"It's ... okay, buddy. I ...  kinda deserved that. Ow." Hana replied, voice strained. "Note to self ... don't startle the Digimon with built-in tasers."


[OOC: Kokuwamon used a weak version of his Power Surge attack, as he only used one arm for it instead of two. 
Power Surge: Kokuwamon discharges electricity from the pincers on both of his arms.]

"Duly noted, Mr. Alucard. Digivolution is an enigma that works in ways that a mortal mind can't always comprehend." Hana retorted, sitting up. Kokuwamon helped her to her feet, being extra careful not to accidentally shock her again. "Leeet's agree not to tell my dad about this, okay? We don't want him to freak out and toss you out on the street over a simple accident. But, dang. If you pack that much of a punch as a Rookie, just how strong is a Champion-level? Or a Mega?"

"Agreed, being thrown out would not be very fun. By running the numbers based off of what few residual memories I have of my previous life, I estimate that each successive digivolution stage would be approximately four times stronger than the previous one. A Champion would be about four times stronger that a Rookie. Meanwhile, an Ultimate would be four times stronger than a Champion and thus about sixteen times stronger than a Rookie, and so forth." Kokuwamon replied, spitting out the data like a typewriter. Literally, you could hear typewriter-like noises coming from Kokuwamon as he did the math in his head. "Of course, this is merely a rough estimate, as individual strength varies even  between Digimon of the same species. No two individual Digimon are exactly alike, after all. Oh, it's so much easier to process that kind of data in this form. It makes me wonder if I used to be a Datamon in a past life..."

"Oh, no. I wasn't actually being serious about that part, Poseidon. He wouldn't really throw them out like that, although he would be mad that I was so reckless. I guess I should've been a bit more clear about that." Hana clarified, hoping to clear up the misunderstanding. "My dad actually does know about Kapurimon and Tsumemon. Our first meeting was not exactly the most ... subtle, so he found out about them preeetty quickly. If he really thought that Kapurimon and Tsumemon were too dangerous for me to be around, he wouldn't have let them stay with us."

"It's true. Mr. Hoshidate was actually very understanding about the whole thing, once we got a chance to explain the situation. We don't think he fully understand what it means for us to be Hana's Digimon partners, but he has enough faith in us to know that we would never do anything to hurt her." Kokuwamon added, before sagging his shoulders a bit. "Well, not intentionally, at least ..."

"Eh, misunderstandings happen from time to time. Don't worry about it." Hana said. "And maybe we should introduce him to Kokuwamon first, before Kapurimon and Tsumemon reach their individual rookie forms. Sort of ease him into having one Rookie around before we drop two of them on him."

"That might be a good idea, Hana. It would be less of a shock." Kokuwamon added, showing his thoughts on the matter before suddenly tensing up. "Hey, Hana? I'm starting to feel a little-"

A quick burst of light interrupted Kokuwamon, before dying down and revealing Kapurimon and Tsumemon, who both tumbled to the ground.

"Whoah, head rush!" Kapurimon weakly stated.

"Tsumemon dizzy." Tsumemon chimed in, his pupil having changed into a slowly-spinning spiral.

"Oh, you poor things. I guess your digivolution tuckered you both out." Hana softly told her partners. "Maybe it's time to head home, so that the two of you can get some rest."

"I think you're right. Digivolving really takes it out of you if you aren't used to it." Kapurimon noted.

Hana gently placed Tsumemon into her backpack, the In-Training digimon letting out a tired "Night-night, Mama," as she did so. Picking up Kapurimon, Hana then walked back over to Alucard and Poseidon.

"I think it's probably about time we head back, so I can put these two in for a nap. Thank you for all your help. You've taught us a lot of useful stuff." Hana said to the Angemon, holding out her hand for a handshake. "I wish you two the best of luck in the future. And who knows? Maybe we'll run into each other again someday, and we can show each other just how much we've all grown."

"You betcha! We'll certainly be looking forward to showing you just how much all three of us have grown!" Hana replied with a sly grin on her face, Kapurimon nodding in agreement from her arms.

"Yeah, it'll be fun to be able to hang out with you guys again! We had a lot of fun today." The little Digimon added.

"Well, we've taken up enough of your time for now, so we'll be seeing ourselves out now." Hana said, giving one last look at Alucard and Poseidon before walking away. "Sayonara, my friends. And don't forget to use your holo-thingies!"

With her parting words, Hana and her partners continued on their journey home. However, as they were walking the pigeon from before returned with a group of friends, which started angrily swarming the three of them.

"Ack, not again! Run for it!" Hana cried out, trying to outrun the flock of angry birds.

"Bad Birdies! Bad Birdies!"

"Thanks, Poseidon. I never knew pigeons could be so vindictive. I mean, seriously! Tsumemon accidentally spooks one pigeon, and suddenly a bunch of them are out for your blood! Ugh!" Hana ranted angrily. In her arms, Kapurimon shook himself in order to shake off some stray water droplets that had gotten on his fur.

"Be thankful it wasn't a Parrotmon. Not only are they pretty big, but those guys can really hold a grudge!" Kapurimon added.

"Yeah, they definitely sound like Digimon we really shouldn't mess with." Hana agreed, taking a quick moment to check her watch and wincing at the time. "Anyways, we really need be going now. My dad's really not gonna be happy if we're late coming home. Like I said, it was great to meet you guys, and hopefully we can see each other soon. Best of luck to you, and thanks again for getting rid of the birds. Bye!" 

Hana waved goodbye and started running home with her partners. As she was leaving, Tsumemon poked his head out of her backpack and waved goodbye to the other two Digimon. "Bye-bye, friends!"
