April has rolled around in Shibuya, and you all of course know what that means... if not, then you really need to study Japan more. The new school year for all the students in Tokyo is starting today, and once again Luneth, the Hackmon disguised as a human, is attending his second year of junior high. He had passed his previous classes with flying colors, and he was excited to see what this year would bring. He was so excited he couldn't even sleep the night before, so it's a wonder he doesn't feel sluggish right now! Luneth headed into his section of the Shibuya Academy building, the section that housed all the middle school classes. He observed the various students as he walked down the hallway, heading to his classroom. Some kids were talking with each other, some were getting intimate, and a couple were picking up their scattered papers off the floor. Of course since Luneth was basically the biggest geek on campus so everyone practically ignored him just as much as he practically ignored anybody. He really only had one friend at school anyways, and he was fine with that. Luneth had plenty of relationships outside of school, like with his brother Rory, so the lack of school friends never truly bothered him that much. And if any of these kids tried messing with him, well, even in his human form the kid knew how to fight thanks to his father. Speaking of his one friend, she was the first person Luneth saw upon entering his homeroom. Kaya Matsui, a thirteen-year-old girl with redish-violet hair who was a Digimon Tamer herself, despite not knowing that Luneth was a Digimon himself. She was sitting at her desk, drawing something in her journal when she looked up to see who was entering the classroom. "Luneth!" Kaya cheered, getting up from her seat and giving her friend a big hug. "How was your spring break?""Need... to breathe...!" Luneth gasped, his lungs were practically being crushed by Kaya's bear hug. "Sorry!" Kaya immediately apologized, letting go of Luneth in the process. "It's fine, do not worry about it... my spring break was fine, spent it with my family out of town. How about you and Hawkeye?""Uhhhh... less than ideal, honestly. I can explain it to you later, just so no one overhears us. I wonder who else is gonna be in our homeroom this year?""Probably the same kids from last year. Unless some transfer to this school like I did."

Entering the school for the first time since he left his parents to be his own 'mon'. Lothar enrolled him while Mandrake restocked the supplies for the first aid kit. Now it was the first day and a confused LJ looked around the hallways. Seeing various students going about doing different things from chatting with one another to picking up things they dropped, LJ looked at his class schedule again and the map of the school otherwise the disguised purple Elecmon would be even more lost in the chaos around him.
Somehow he found his class. Maybe some luck was involved but at this point LJ would take it. Pushing the door open he walked calmly into the classroom. 'No problem, Lothar Junior, you got this. This school thing can't be harder than running from much stronger digimon or riding in a car long distances.' LJ thought as he quietly found a seat and sat down. So far so good despite sensing a digimon nearby.

"Second year... it's pretty crazy, right?" Her steps through the hallway were lackadaisical, as if she were just moving whichever direction seemed most interesting at the moment. Every now and then she'd take a larger step to keep up with the girl besides her, who walked with a certain amount of grace and poise. "And to think, we're even getting to switch classes!"
"That's how years work. And we don't 'get' to switch classes. We're being forced to switch!" An identical voice corrected with an irritated undertone. "Because someone decided that it would be funny if there were spiders in Mizumi-kun's lunch!"
"Well, I remember another somebody thinking that it was pretty funny at the time, Natsu!" The first girl responded. "And how was I supposed to know that she was scared to death of them?"
"Because it's a common thing to be scared of, stupid!" The second girl shot back. "Only weird kids are okay with spiders!"
"Yeah, but... still seems like a bit of a harsh thing to do, forcing us out like that..."
"And there was Kobayashi-kun and the water balloon full of 'pig's blood'."
"Oh, yeah... took me half the night trying to get the coloring just right..."
"Then there was Midori-chan's fake love letter!"
"Yeah, but didn't she and that one guy end up dating, or something?"
"They broke up the next day! You know, when he found out Midori-chan wasn't actually related to the Swedish Monarchy?"
"Dude... I had to do so much research for that one!"
"You're missing the point, Haru!" Natsu stopped right outside their new classroom door, blocking her twin sister from entering.
"Am I? 'Cause I'm just remembering all the fun we had last year with our pranks!" Haru's smile grew wide as she thought back fondly of their time together.
"What do you mean, 'our pranks'? You're the one who did them all!" Natsu kept her voice hushed as she pointed an accusatory finger in the near-identical girl in front of her.
"Yeah, but who's the one who told me where I could find all those spiders in the first place?" Haru asked with a sly smirk.
"Well that's..."
"And who's the one who went out and got more of the colored dye once I messed up too much and ended up using it all up? Or the person who recommended using Sweden after informing me that Nova Scotia wasn't a country?"
"That was... who cares about all that?" Her voice got a little louder for a second, but she managed to hush it down. "The point is, Haru, everyone in our old class hated us! And if you keep it up, everyone in this class is going to hate us, too! And I know you don't care too much about that, but I do! So I'm begging you, sis, please, please try to behave yourself, at least until I can actually make some new friends for once, okay?" Haru looked back into Natsumi's pained expression, and nodded.
"Fine, I'll do it..." Harumi relented, her voice unnaturally calm. "I'll try my best to help you make some new friends!"
"Thank you so mu... wait, what? No, I didn't say anything about you trying to help!"
But it was too late. Harumi wrapped her arm around her sister's shoulder as she slid the classroom door open and guided her into the room. "'Sup with it, fellas?" She loudly announced as the two made their entrance. "We're the Fujisaki twins, but that'll get real confusing, real fast! So just call us by our names, okay?"
Harumi placed her hand on her chest as she declared, "I'm the lovely Spring beauty, Fujisaki Harumi, but call me Haru for short! My hobbies include video games, team sports, and comedy!" She moved her hand over to slap her sister on the rear. "And this gorgeous gal right here is my sis, Natsu! She likes a lot of the same things that I do, but keep in mind, boys, she also happens to be single!"
"Eh? Why are you bringing that up!?"
"That's right, boys, you've got a smoking-hot, Summer beauty on your hands with a tasteful sense of humor, can kick your ass in Tekken, and a good-looking sister to boot!" She gave the class a wink and gave her sister a quick thumbs-up.
After all, with an introduction like that, who wouldn't want to be friends with them?
Though... Haru had to wonder...
...Why was Natsu's face so red right now?

Speak of the devil, the first kid to walk in after Luneth was indeed a new student. He was most likely a foreigner, considering that students of African American descent weren't all too common in Japan. The boy looked nice enough, even if he was tall. And BOY, was he tall. He didn't look out of place among the rest of the fourteen year olds, but he was definitely the tallest of them all. And of course, only one thing could possibly be said once he walked in... "Wow, you're tall," Kaya said to the student, seemingly unable to hold that back. "I do not think you can just blurt that out," Luneth scolded his friend before turning towards the new student. "Sorry about that. I am Luneth Kanzaki, and this is my friend Kaya Matsui." Luneth extended a hand out to him as Kaya waved from her desk. There was something off about this new kid, though. Luneth could just sense it, but he couldn't figure out what exactly he was sensing. After introductions with him were made, two other students would not just walk in, but they would make one of the biggest entrances Luneth and Kaya had ever seen for just walking into a classroom. They were identical twins, named Haru and Natsu Fujisaki apparently, and again their entrance was as if they were being introduced on a game show or something. Didn't help that Haru was basically advertising her sister's relationship status and trying to list off all the things that would probably make boys want to date her. Once their intro was done, Luneth, Kaya, and the rest of the kids there more or less had the same expression on their faces: Regardless of that though, Luneth still felt it would be right to introduce himself to them as well. "Well um... hello then, Haru," he said to Natsu. "Natsu," he said to Haru. "I am Luneth Kanzaki and welcome to our class. Are you new to this school? Also, why do you two look so similar to each other?"Wait, what? Kaya asked herself. Did Luneth not know what identical twins were?

Before LJ got to the back to sit down a voice from one of the students caught his attention when she mentioned him being tall. Looking at the unknown girl he used the best excuse he could come up with. "Yeah, both of my parents were tall." LJ said. Well that was true in their holosuit forms but in reality Mandrake was quite short so LJ had no idea how tall he would be compared to his parents at his champion level.
Then an unknown boy apologized for the girl's bluntness by introducing himself as Luneth Kanzaki and the girl as Kaya Matsui. Something was different about Luneth and LJ could feel it. That's it, Luneth was a digimon. So was Kaya even aware? Not that LJ was one to talk seeing as he was a recently digivolved rookie himself. "It's no problem, Luneth. She is probably just excited about this being the first day of school. I'm LJ Anderson. Nice to meet both of you."
Shortly after he introduced himself he passed both Luneth and Kaya to sit down and an energetic pair of twins entered. LJ knew that, like digimon, humans usually had one kid at a time but this pair looked alike. Was that normal? Wait there was a slight difference in the pair with one being a tiny bit shorter than the other. 'Dad was right about me being astute in more ways than one.' LJ thought as he sat down in at a desk in the back.

And as lovely as her introduction was, there was a surprisingly lukewarm reception. In fact, that tall boy in the back didn't even seem to acknowledge their existence for very long! Welp, not everyone can have good taste in people, Haru supposed. But there was one boy that came up to them and had the common decency to introduce themselves! Sadly, that was about to be spoiled as Natsu covered her face and shook her head. "I so can not believe you right now!" She muttered through her hands as she rushed to the back of the room and sat down next to the rather tall boy. Was this her assigned seat? Well, actually, it was Takeshi-kun's, but he wasn't important enough to acknowledge, really.
"Ah... hey..." Haru called after her, but her sister didn't stop. But there was still someone talking to them... it would just be rude to ignore them! Besides something that boy said made Haru really appreciate this guy. She could talk with her sister after class!
"Hey there, Luneth!" She said without any trace or concerns with honorifics, though she didn't greet the other girl who didn't bother to introduce herself, the jerk. "Good to meet ya!" She chuckled for a second. She just got called Natsu... right? Well, she might as well play along for a bit! After all, he was gonna find out eventually, either on his own or the girl next to him was gonna ruin it for her, but that didn't mean she could see how long she could keep it going!
"Yeah, sorry about that!" Haru waved her hands as if it were some sort of apology. "My sister, Haru, that is, was probably too embarrassed that a boy would come up and talk to her so soon! But don't worry! I'm sure she'll warm up to you soon!" She gave off a friendly smile, that was more from glee that she managed to meet such a clueless boy.
"But for us looking alike, well, there's a reason for that..." She looked back and forth, then leaned in closer so she could whisper to the totally-human boy. "You see, she's actually in training to be my bodyguard... like a the whole body double thing... Did you hear about that whole fiasco last year about the Swedish monarchy? Well, I'll get into a whole lot of trouble if I say anything more about it, but I think you can connect the dots! But you have to promise to keep this a secret, okay?" Not-Natsu held her hand up, pinky-finger outstretched to signify an important promise. It took every last ounce of her mental fortitude to keep a straight face, but she looked at the boy with a serious expression.

Thankfully the guy wasn't offended by Kaya bluntly calling him tall, hell he even mentioned how his parents were absurdly tall as well. That was definitely a relief. He introduced himself as LJ Anderson, a name that was definitely a foreigner name. Oh well, Kaya didn't seem to mind all too much. "Well welcome to Shibuya Middle, LJ. Haven't seen you around the school last year, are you new? Where did you move from?"
While Kaya was eagerly talking to LJ, Luneth just couldn't put his finger on this thing that he was feeling. He sensed SOMETHING coming from LJ, but he wasn't quite too sure what that thing even was. It made Luneth unusually cautious about LJ in general. Next was the two identical sisters, one of which seemed completely embarrassed by the other's brash introduction to the class. As Luneth came up to greet them, the embarrassed one ran to the back of the room, sitting by where LJ had gone to sit. "I hope she's going to be alright... my brother makes entrances like that as well sometimes," Luneth told the remaining twin. "Only difference is that he doesn't usually involve myself in them."
While Luneth didn't buy the fact that "Haru" only got flustered because a boy came up to speak to her, he one hundred percent believed "Natsu's" absolutely bonkers story, a body double situation due to some fiasco involving the Swedish monarchy. If only she knew what a story like that would just be your average Tuesday in the Digital World. She extended a pinky, asking Luneth to keep it a secret. Luneth just stared at "Natsu's" pinky finger for a moment, unsure what he was supposed to do as he never heard of a pinky promise before. He eventually grabbed it with his thumb and pointer finger and shook it like a handshake. Meanwhile, Kaya stood up from her seat to go walk over to LJ and the real Natsu. "Hey, are you doing okay?" Kaya asked with a tone of concern in her voice. "It's obvious that she didn't tell you she was going to do that. That wasn't cool of her." She got onto her knees, resting her arms on Natsu's desk and looking her in the eyes, a bright smile on her face. "I'm Kaya Matsui. You're Natsu, right?"

One of the advantages LJ had when it came to taking after Lothar when it came to digivolutions was that he got excellent hearing. After all what else were such large ears on an Elecmon were for. Unknown to the girl who called herself Haru when she was whispering to a boy called Luneth, LJ had heard every word but decided it would be best for his cover if he didn't react to it. Though there seemed something familiar about Luneth that was hard to put a finger on. It was like he was different from the other humans. Since Mandrake and Lothar hadn't yet taught LJ how to detect disguised digimon without access to telepathy or an enhanced sense of smell, LJ was confused by the vibes Luneth was giving off but managed to not make his confusion obvious.
As for the girl who sat near him, he asked her "Don't take this the wrong way but is your sister always acting weird?"
Though the concept of a pinky promise was confusing enough it seemed the girl called Kaya decided to put him in the spotlight asking if he was new and where he was from. 'Great now what? I can't just say I'm from the Digital World. Not only would that ruin the purpose of me having a cover story but most humans are ignorant of the fact that there are digimon around them.' LJ thought. Well the only problem he had was mentioning where he was from. Maybe he should just say he was from one of those places he overheard in the hallway and hope it didn't make things worse.
"Yeah, I'm new. I wasn't here last year because I was attending school in California." LJ said. Sure it took a couple of seconds to answer but maybe Kaya would just assume it was the excitement brought on by attending a new school.

"She'll be fine!" Haru said with an easy, confident smile. "This way everyone knows what she's about! And it's not like I said anything untrue, after all!" Then he seemed to believe her story about her being related to Swedish monarchy, so that was even better. Then... he did something she didn't expect. Did he... not know what a pinky promise was? That was... huh... Wait... there was no way! He was just messing around with her! That just made Haru feel so... so... exhilarated! She placed her hand on the boy's shoulder with a cheeky smile and laughed. "Lu, I think we're gonna get along great this year!"
He seemed to fully confused the two twins from each other, which suddenly gave Haru a wonderful idea. Natsu wanted to have her own friends, and get a boyfriend and all that stuff, right? So... if Haru wanted to be a supportive big sister, then she could simply get a boyfriend for her! It seemed pretty simple! After all, how hard could getting a boyfriend be? All she had to do was flirt with some boy, ask him out on a date, and then switch places! All boys were dumb and horny, after all, so there was no way that one could tell them apart! But wait... this dude said he had a brother! That made it even better! "Well, if you have a brother you should take him out to hang with Haru and I sometime! We're pretty good at having fun, so I'm sure that you guys won't be disappointed!" Did this girl just casually ask a boy she just met out for a double date? Well... why not?
Meanwhile, in the back of the classroom, the real Natsu heard the tall boy's question and just groaned. Then the girl that introduced herself as Kaya Matsui walked up to her and asked how she was doing. Great. She was gonna have to explain her sister's actions again. But first, introductions. "Yes, I'm Natsumi Fujisaki," She didn't get out of her seat, but she did bow her head slightly. Now came for the explaining. "It's not her... well... it is her fault, but she doesn't mean any harm or anything..." She let out an exasperated sigh. As much as she didn't like what Haru always put her through, she couldn't blame her, either. "She has good intentions, but she doesn't always live in this world... if that makes any sense!" Though such a thing probably wouldn't make any sense to these two right here.

"Just because something is the truth, it doesn't make it right to say it," Luneth told "Natsu" in response to her statement defending her actions. "Communication is important, and to me it didn't seem like you communicated with her very well at all."
Of course the real reason Luneth reacted like that to the pinky promise was because he actually did not know what a pinky promise was. "Natsu" didn't seem too confused like this, in fact she acted like she thought Luneth may have been messing with her. She put a hand on his shoulder and insisted that they were gonna be great friends. "Perhaps..."
Luneth's heart skipped a beat when "Natsu" suggested that he invite his brother to hang out with him and the sisters sometime. There were three potential problems with this: one, his brother was a Coronamon who didn't have a holosuit yet. Two, he lived in Rosewood. Three, he may not even want to visit the human world quite yet. The disguised Digimon gulped. "I will, er... talk to him about it."
At the other end of the class, the new kid LJ told Kaya that he had moved here from California. "That makes sense, a lot of American kids are transferring over to Japan lately it seems. Not that I'm complaining, of course."
Then the real Natsumi spoke up. She claimed that her sister's antics weren't out of a want to harm her sister, in fact it was the exact opposite, but according to Natsu she just didn't always live in this world. That phrasing made Kaya laugh a bit in her head, thanks to her own adventures. "Yeah, I kinda get it. Like eighth grader syndrome, right?"
And now the teacher has officially entered the classroom. It was a middle-aged woman with short black hair and an outfit that wouldn't look out of place at an office building. She walked to her desk and placed her papers on top of it. It would be a few minutes before class officially started, after all...

It seemed that Luneth was nervous about the topic of having his brother hang out with "Natsu" though LJ couldn't blame him. This girl was one odd human despite not meaning any harm but LJ was likely to meet some other odd ones in the future for sure. In an attempt to pacify the girl he said he would talk to him, meaning his brother, about it.
As for Kaya it seemed she was buying his cover regarding where he was from so he would count that as a win. "Maybe there is a good reason for all the transfers." LJ said to Kaya though with all the digimon it was likely they were part of the reason for all the transfers seeing as it was likely other classrooms had digimon in them.
Though confused by the term eighth grade syndrome, he didn't have time to think to much about it as the teacher made her presence known as she entered the classroom. Soon the class was bound to start.

"Eighth grader syndrome?" Natsu repeated aloud. It... wasn't quite like that. Haru didn't think she was special so much as... she didn't care that she wasn't. She was smart and confident to roll with whatever consequences came her way. It was infuriating for the younger twin! It's like Haru knew some secret to life that Natsu hadn't been able to figure out just yet, and wasn't willing to share it! But... she wasn't going to say that kind of stuff aloud. It wasn't cool to vent all your frustrations to a couple new classmates. So she simply smiled back at Kaya and nodded. "Yeah. I guess you could say it's something like that!"
And as for the influx of new transfer students? Well, Natsu had noticed a lot more taller classmates as things went on. But she hadn't shared a class with any of them. Until now. So she tried to forget about her sister and leaned closer to LJ. "I've always wanted to go to California!" She stated. "Hey, what is it like? Did you ever get to meet any movie stars?" It was a little on the shallow side, but there wasn't anything wrong with a little gossip, was there?
"I dunno, it sounds like it'd be a lot easier if everyone just said everything from the start..." Haru pointed out, shrugging. But it wasn't a hill she was willing to die on, either. Arguments were dumb when clearly there were better things to do! But while Luneth clearly seemed hesitant on the whole double date aspect, Haru didn't pick up on it. She simply grinned and gave him a thumbs-up! "Cool! Hit me up when you wanna do it! Oh, and if you want my number, ah..." She looked around for a bit, then moved over to the blackboard in the front of the class and wrote her phone number up there in chalk. "Didn't have a pen and paper handy, so here's my number! My sister's is the same, but her last digit is-"
And it was at that point the teacher walked in. Haru practically leapt over the desk and into her seat before she could get caught. Grinning like a madwoman, she got her stuff ready as class began. And not long after classes had started, she got bored. She could just memorize the information later, so there wasn't any point in paying attention. When she got called on, she just gave a silly answer... which made the class chuckle a bit... and the teacher sent her to stand in the hallway for the rest of class. Apparently her old homeroom teacher had warned her new one about her, and wasn't putting up with any of her shit. So she spent a majority of her time looking out the hallway window. Where she saw something strange.
Something very, very strange.
A blue-furred dog running on two legs, and boxing gloves on its hands was pacing across the courtyard. It ran up to a student that was hilariously late for class, she thought her name was Takeshi-kun or something, and after a brief verbal exchange, the dog gave Takeshi-kun an uppercut to the jaw, knocking him out cold! After that, the blue dog spun its head left and right, looking around and seeming to be in a panic, as it began to drag Takeshi-kun's unconscious body off to an unseen location.
That was... that was real, right? Haru wasn't dreaming? She had to think for a second. No... if she said that there was a dog wearing boxing gloves punching tardy students in the chin, then there's no way anyone would believe her. So she had no choice but to go investigate herself. So she slid open the door to the classroom, cried out. "Sensei! I'm going to go see the nurse about lady problems!" And then slammed the door shut and ran off.
But that wasn't the only unusual thing going on at the moment. For on other side, outside the classroom windows, where any student still within the classroom could look out at, a strange, bronze-skinned impish-looking creature wearing red pants hopped around for a bit, holding a white fur pelt with dark-blue stripes. He stuffed it into a bookbag, then his form was surrounded by a puff of smoke. And when the smoke cleared, a perfectly unremarkable middle-school student appeared in its place as it casually walked around on the school grounds.

"Well, if you have any problems with her in the future you can talk to me about it, 'kay?" Kaya suggested. She probably didn't one hundred percent know what was going on between the two, but she could still tell that Natsu was bothered by something and she just wanted to be there for support if Natsu wanted or needed it. With that now settled, Kaya would go back to her own desk, waiting for the teacher to start talking. Once LJ revealed that he was from California however, Natsu didn't waste any time asking him what it was like, or if he had met any movie stars "He didn't say if he was from L.A. or not though, Natsu. He could be from San Francisco, or maybe Pasadena. It must be super warm in California, right, LJ?"
Thankfully "Natsu" didn't pick up on Luneth's hesitance to invite his brother for a double date. She still gave him her phone number to call if he changed his mind... though she didn't just give it to him alone. She wrote it on the blackboard in the front of the class for all to see. Luneth's eyes widened a bit. "I-Isn't that a bit dangerous to do, writing your phone number on the board like that?" Luneth asked. Before he could get an answer though, the teacher walked in, prompting "Natsu" to practically leap back to her desk and leaving Luneth there with the phone number. The teacher glanced at the phone number written on the board before taking an eraser and erasing the message. "There are better ways to give others your phone number, you know." "But Sensei, that wasn't-"
"We'll talk about it later, please take a seat." Luneth gave a slight glare to "Natsu" before he did as he was instructed, taking his seat next to her. It wasn't too far into the class before the teacher called on her for a question and she gave a stupid answer, causing the rest of the class to laugh and the teacher to send her out into the hallway for the rest of the class period. Luneth smirked; little troublemaker got what she deserved. Maybe it was a good thing their teacher was so strict... though it wasn't long before she announced to the class that she was going to the nurse for "lady problems," causing the class to snicker even more. "Wow..." was all Kaya could say in response to that. But that wasn't the only strange thing that happened. Luneth's gaze steadily moved towards the classroom window as class went along, before he noticed something strange on the other side. It looked like a Digimon, but he was holding onto what looked like a Gabumon's pelt. The creature stuffed it into a bookbag and then it seemed to activate its holosuit, looking no more different than any other middle school student. Something was up. "I need to use the bathroom, Sensei," Luneth said after raising his hand. Getting up from his seat, Luneth would walk a few feet behind this strange student, wanting to see what this Digimon was up to...

Oh Dear, it looked like LJ's mentioning that he was from Califonia was about to cause his cover story to fall in on itself. He should have expected such a thing seeing as humans could be just as curious as any digimon. It was a trait humans and digimon appeared to share but what could he do now? Keeping a calm poker face on could assume he inherited from both parents, he decided to answer with the first random thing that came to his mind. "I'm not from one of California's bigger cities but a little town called Ferndale." he answered. To him the two words together sounded silly for a human town but how was he supposed to know that such a town actually existed in California. "It is pretty warm there though. Maybe that's why my family and I came to Japan. You know to find some less intense heat."
Looks like the teacher wasn't gonna take 'Natsu's' nonsense as she was sent to the hall for the rest of the class but things only seemed to get stranger from there as he heard the thump of someone hitting the floor. Maybe that was the reason 'Natsu' needed the nurse. Then Luneth glanced out the window which peaked LJ's curiosity causing the disguised purple Elecmon to see what Luneth saw. What the stranger wanted with a Gabumon pelt was something LJ was eager to know but how to go about getting out of class? Seconds later Luneth provided the perfect excuse as LJ lifted his hand while fidgeting for good measure as he said "I need the bathroom too, Sensei." After LJ made his way to his feet he followed Luneth. Just who was this stranger and why did he have a Gabumon pelt?

And Natsu's first day of class was already turning out to be so... strange. Natsu almost immediately got kicked out of class, which was normal. Just meant that she would have to give her the rundown on what happened after class, in which she would immediately seem to understand the subject matter better than she could. But then Haru went and pulled that little stunt and got the whole class bothered about it. But Natsu wasn't among them, nor was she particularly embarrassed. For "lady problems" was one of their code words. It meant that Haru wanted Natsu to follow her somewhere. But... she couldn't skip class on the first day! She wanted to be a normal girl who didn't have an eccentric dork for a sister! So she stayed put. But she thought it was odd that Luneth and LJ both left to use the bathroom shortly afterwards. Weren't boys able to hold it in longer or something? They seemed okay when class began. Or maybe they somehow figured out Haru's secret message and thought it was for them. Welp. At least Haru would have some new friends!
Meanwhile, Haru had successfully made her way outside the building without being noticed. Now in the courtyard, she spotted lines in the dirt. Like someone as being dragged. Did the weird dog drag Takeshi-kun's corpse all the way here? Either way, the only thing to do was to follow it. She was already feeling like an ace detective! Now if only she had her Watson... But why hadn't Natsu followed her when she used the code word? "Man... I guess she didn't get the message... Did she think that I was serious or something? She should know already that it's not un- Whoa!" Before she could divulge any more unnecessary information, a figure leapt from the shadows! She only had a split-second to react, but it was enough time for the girl to step back and avoid getting knocked out in a single punch!
"Sorry, but I can't let myself be seen in this world!" A blue doggy wearing a headband and boxing gloves stated with a remorseful tone. "You're going to have to go to sleep!" He was about to strike again, but Haru waved her hand and slapped the blue beast on the nose, stunning him for a second.
"No!" She barked at the beast, wagging her finger at him. "Bad doggy! Sit!" And oddly enough, the blue dog instinctively planted his rear on the ground. Then an awkward moment passed as the two stared at each other. Eventually, the blue beast began to blush from embarrassment as he angrily stood back up.
"Wait... I'm not a dog, I'm a Digimon!" He growled in anger. But Haru moved in and pushed her hand on the blue dog's tush.
"I said 'sit'!" And sure enough, the beast obediently sat down once more.
Meanwhile, Luneth and LJ's journey took them to the first floor entrance, where they had to sneak past the commissary stand and near the shoe lockers in the front. It was there where they would find the disguised Digimon, looking inside locker after locker with a frustrated expression. "Come on... There's gotta be at least one of these that's empty..." But despite Luneth and LJ's distance, his head darted up towards their direction as he went on high alert. "Dammit... he couldn't have found me just yet... right?"
