Digimon Name: Weston the Wise
Alias: Weston "Wes" Sparkwood
Default Form: Whatever he feels like that day
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral Good
Skills/Talents:
Inventory:
Personality: Weston is one of those Digimon that takes the first part of their name very seriously. He has always been interested in his magic, as well as just the moves a Digimon can do in general. He is very knowledgeable, having studied his own moves and other Digimon's attacks as well, which is helped by his love of books. He tends to record his findings in his journal whenever he makes a new discovery about anything. Aside from this, Weston is also very empathetic. He will gladly teach others something or help someone in great need. He also does not tolerate injustice or just mean and evil acts in general. He judges others based on their words and actions, not their type or how they look. Weston does have one minor and one major flaw, however. His minor flaw is a small addiction to alcoholic beverages. Not to the point where he drinks himself silly, but enough where he feels like he should have a flask full of alcohol on him at all times. His major flaw is that he pushes himself too hard. He doesn't eat, drink, sleep, or generally take care of himself in any way unless he is told to, or he can just no longer ignore it. Doesn't help that he's far too humble to accept much help from others unless he absolutely has to. He's working to get better as taking care of his basic needs on time, but his work, studying and adventuring will always come before anything else.
Personal History:
Weston's story began in the Dark Area. He had spent his early days roaming around that section of the Digital World, a mysterious magic power brewing inside of him. With no true goal, the Kotemon just... walked. And walked.
Until one day, he walked into a Digimon that wasn't from the Dark Area, a Sorcerimon. Naturally, the Kotemon tried to fight Sorcerimon for being in his way, but in a battle between a rookie and a champion it was clear who the winner was. Still, Sorcerimon took pity on this Kotemon, having no friends or family, no real aim in life at all. And he had detected a presence of magic within Kotemon as well. With training, Kotemon could use his magic for the good of all Digimon. Without hesitation, Sorcerimon took the Kotemon back home with him and adopted him, naming the little guy Weston and spending every waking moment teaching him how to use his magic powers.
While he was growing up and studying on how to use his magical abilities, Weston ended up discovering something unexpected about himself: he loved human world stories. Literature, cinema, television, animation, poetry, songwriting, even video games! He just loved all the different types of stories that just didn't exist in his home of the Digital World. So because of this passion, once Weston mastered his craft and Digivolved, he originally planned to become a teacher of this sort of thing in the Digital World, reading stories to Digimon and potentially get them as invested in human storytelling as he was.
The only problem was... well, Digimon were Digimon and most didn't care about the human world, especially Digimon children. Most students would disrupt his teachings or just not show up at all out of apathy. This took a major hit to Wizardmon's self-esteem for teaching, what's the point if his students weren't going to listen anyways?
Then, an idea formed in his head. Maybe teaching Digimon students wasn't going to work, but what if he taught humans the same thing? Made young humans interested in literature as well? It was going to be tricky, but with a holosuit and some... creative storytelling of his own, Weston figured he could make it work!
Now going by the human name Weston Sparkwood, a teacher with Japanese ancestry who moved from London to Tokyo, Weston is now a World Literature teacher at Shibuya Academy, ready to teach young minds the wonders of storytelling.

Fresh
Species: Zurumon
Appearance:

Attribute: Free
Family/ies: None

Fighting Style: Weston definitely has magic in this form. It's just not... prevalent... like, at all. It's very buried deep, deep down. Maybe if he tried hard enough...? Nah, nothing would happen.
Abilities:
Poison Bubbles: Weston spits out colored bubbles that definitely sting when popped, but don't do any damage.
Digivolves To: Pagumon
In-Training
Species: Pagumon
Appearance:

Attribute: Free
Family/ies: None
Type: Lesser
Fighting Style: While the magic isn't powerful enough to be used quite yet, there are still subtle yet noticeable magical qualities in Weston's in-training form. He mostly uses magic sparkles to fight at this stage.
Abilities:
Magic Sparkles: Weston summons very tiny magic sparkles to zap his opponents with, but they do not harm much at all.
Fire Breath: As the name says, Weston blows a tiny stream of fire from his mouth to ward off other Digimon. It may catch fire to something but other than that, not a powerful attack.
Digivolves From: Zurumon
Digivolves To: Kotemon
Rookie
Species: Kotemon
Appearance:

Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Nature Spirits
Type: Reptile
Fighting Style: Unlike most Kotemon, Weston does not use a fencing staff to fight. Instead he uses a staff that looks more or less like a wizard staff, and he uses that to fight physically when he has to, or he uses it to cast spells.
Abilities:
Stone Shower: Weston summons a swarm of very tough and very sharp stones directly at his opponent. Cooldown is one post.
Enchanted Shot: Much like the ever popular tabletop RPG, Weston creates three glowing green orb-like projectiles that aim for all just one target, or each orb can aim for a separate target. Cooldown is one post.
Goddess' Light: Weston's staff glows a very bright golden light, enriching those that it effects. With this light, Weston can heal himself or one ally for a moderate health gain, or he can heal multiple humans and Digimon for a slight health gain. Cooldown is two posts.
Demon's Blight The antithesis to Goddess' Light. Weston's staff glows with a dark, omninous light before blasting out a powerful beam of dark energy at the target. Cooldown is two posts.
Digivolves From: Pagumon
Digivolves To: Wizardmon
Champion
Species: Wizardmon
Appearance:

Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Demon Man
Fighting Style: In terms of physical strength, Weston isn't useless per say. but his strengths truly come from his magic. He is able to cast spells relatively quickly and in reactionary time, and he prefers casting these spells from a safe distance away from the action if he is able to.
Abilities:
Magical Boost (Combat Passive) (RAM Upgrade): Weston's magic is truly unmatched by any other Champion level. He gets a 50% boost to his damaging attacks, but just like any mage his defense is decreased by 25%.
Inferno: Weston shoots a powerful fireball from his staff at the target. Cooldown is one post.
Thunder Cloud: Weston's staff charges with electricity before shooting a stream of lighting out from it, causing shock damage. Cooldown is one post.
Glaciate: Weston shoots a beaming ray of frost at a target, causing damage and causing a slowed movement on the target for one post. Cooldown is one post.
Slugganaut: Weston uses his staff to create a giant hand made of a red-orange colored energy. He can manipulate it into different poses, all of which cause the same effect and amount of damage when slammed into a target. Cooldown is two posts
Waterworks: Weston uses the water molecules in the air to create a stream of water, which he will then use to fight his opponents within a variety of different ways, all doing an equal amount of damage. Cooldown is two posts.
Demonic Spikes: Weston's eyes and staff glow an ominous dark purple before he summons a path of black rock-like spikes to shoot straight out of the ground right towards his target. Cooldown is three posts.
Digivolves From: Kotemon
Digivolves To: Wisemon
Ultimate
Species: Wisemon
Appearance:

Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Demon Man
Fighting Style: Now foregoing his magical staff, Weston uses his hands and sometimes his magical runes to fight his enemies or defend his allies, still from a safe distance away and with quick reaction time.
Abilities:
Majik Sparks: Weston's most used move as a Wisemon. Weston uses magical energy to slash at his opponent in many different forms made out of orange magic sparks. The amount of damage is the same no matter what form it takes. Cooldown is one post.
Rune Flame: From Weston's hands, a stream of fire is shot out at the target, even more powerful than his fire was as a Wizardmon. Cooldown is two posts.
Electricate: Much like a very dark (and overused) popular movie villain, a continuous stream of lightning shoots out of Weston's hands at the target, causing electric damage. Cooldown is two posts.
Freezing Spike: Weston uses ice magic to create one large sharp spike out of ice in mid-air before he launches it at the target, doing piercing damage. Cooldown is two posts.
Floralorial: Weston casts a spell to cause a massive vine to rapidly grow from beneath the opponent. The vine will then either grab onto the target and YEET them straight to the ground or to a wall, or it will simply just bitch slap them into next year. Both do the same amount of damage. Cooldown is three posts.
Shadow Game: Weston casts a spell using dark magic to cause up to three enemies to be attacked by their very own shadows as they crawl out from the surface that they're on, taking the form of gooey corrupted counterparts to those who cast those shadows. These shadow beings vanish after attacking. Cooldown is three posts
Reflecting Book: When a projectile attack is being shot his way, Weston can summon his overly large spellbook to help out. When the book opens, the attack will seemingly go right through one side of the open book... then come out of the other side, right back at the original caster. Will not work on Mega or Super Mega level attacks. Cooldown is four posts.
Inner Demon (RAM Upgrade): When Weston gets angry, he gets angry. One per thread he can activate this move and unleash his inner demon powers. He pulls down his hood and his face extend to that of a Jersey devil, he grows six additional arms and all his hands and claws pulse and mutate to become dragon-like claws, his legs become demonic smoke-covered octopus-like tentacles, and he doubles in size overall. His attack, defense, evasion and accuracy all increase by 50% for four posts before reverting back to his original form. This move can only be used once per thread.

Un-Cloaked Form:

Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nightmare Soliders
Type: Demon Lord
Fighting Style: Weston has given up trying to be the nice guy by this point, and has fully given into his inner demonic power with this form. He's still the same Weston deep down, and will not harm his allies, but he will not be merciful with his enemies. He is now using his magic to full-on delete his enemies.
Abilities:
Flame Inferno: Weston channels fire magic within his claw-like hands and fires it outward from his palms in a stream. Cooldown is one post.
Dark Thunder: Weston summons a black lightning whip in his hands before striking the target with it. Cooldown is one post.
Double Dust: Weston charges his fists with dark magic as he dashes forward and strikes his target with them. Cooldown is one post.
Chaos Flare: Weston conjures a sphere of black flames in his hands before he throws it right towards his opponent, doing more damage than just an average fire attack. Cooldown is two posts.
Slash Nail: Weston uses magic to turn hand into a demonic flesh-like scythe before he magically stretches his arm outward to slash at his opponent. Cooldown is two posts.
Icy Grave: Weston quickly summons a sword made of ice and fires it at the target. Regardless of what it hits, the sword will then shatter and its pieces will slash at anyone within 100m of its impact site. Cooldown is three posts.
Demonic Absorption: When an energy based attack is coming Weston's way, he simply extends a hand towards the attack and absorbs it, not only acting as a shield but also boosting Weston's own damage power by 30% for two posts. Cooldown is four posts.
Hammer Knuckle: Using his magic power, Weston creates a giant floating hammer that looks as if it is made from flesh and stone, and then brings the hammer down on an enemy while it's still floating, creating an aftershock that will damage anyone within a 100m diameter of the attack. Cooldown is four posts.
Inner Demon: Weston is done holding back. His cloak is burned away with dark magic, revealing the true Daemon underneath. With his cloak now gone, Weston's attack, defense, evasion and accuracy all increase by 50% for four posts before he reverts back to his cloaked form. This move can only be used once per thread.
