"While I'm not sure about the size of the Digital World all I know is I haven't remotely been everywhere in the Digital World and I've been making regular trips there for a year now." Stacy said as the thought of the large size of the Digital World made her glad she had a motorcycle or otherwise she would be making her way around at a snails pace.
Oh so he wanted to know how to digivolve if he had to. That, to some extent, she could help with. Looking around making sure the coast was clear fractal coding appeared around her right hand for a moment before it vanished as she said "That ring of data is called fractal code and it is the first step. To make it appear is easy for me and all I do is just think about transforming into one of the forms I have access to. The transformation process is known as digivolution. Then, while the fractal code is around your hand you run it over the top of the D-Tector while saying the code phrase which seems to be slightly different with each higher rank. For example to become the rookie stage the code is Execute! Sprite Spirit Evolution! From there the digvolution into your rookie stage would take place."

That she had been traveling over that world for roughly a year was a statement to its size as well, this unknown world was starting to poke at his adventurous side. A new world full of monsters, mysteries, and just so many new places to explore was just such an enticing thought. It was so strange for him to be this excited about something in such a long time, but here he was looking forward to seeing what was in store for him. “That sounds like a lot of fun,” genuine excitement was laced through his words. There was a very good chance that he would do something impulsive and reckless now with all this information regarding the Digital World and the digivices.
She explained the process of digivolution for spirit wielders like himself, and he watched intently trying to get all the details right. So, there was now a part of them linked to the Digital World it seemed from the way her hand summoned some kind of strange circle. A fractal code, she called it, the main thing behind the process as far as he could tell. Then came the phrase that was to activate the whole process, “First, bring up the Fractal code, then say execute sprite spirit evolution. Doing that should allow me to transform?” If that was all it took then that wasn't too bad and he was curious if he could fuddle with the phrase a bit. He was a little bit of a nerd and geek, so if it was possible he had a plan for changing the phrase to something more his style.
The next big thing was figuring out how to get to the Digital World so that he could throw himself into the insanity. That was probably the best way that he could explain what all this sounded like, and it was an amazing description to him. Bringing the digivice to him, he tried to fiddle with the controls a bit to try and find a way to get to the digital world. His curiosity and impulsiveness were getting the better of him. There was a secondary reason for his fiddling and that was to figure out how this weird device worked and all the functions that it possessed.

Stacy caught the excitement in Drake's voice and she couldn't blame him. The lure of adventure was still strong in her even after exploring the Digital World for a year and finding her fair share of trouble. A certain white haired human's extreme eccentricities came to mind as she smirked remembering some of the adventures she had with him fondly. Sure he seemed socially awkward and crazy to the point of bordering on the level of super villain but, despite her nature as one of those meddling hero types as some would call it, she enjoyed his company at some level. Maybe she might be a little crazy herself.
Drake seemed to take in the process of digivolution quite well as she explained it to him making things far easier. "Yes, Drake, doing all that should make you transform." she replied grateful the process was fairly straightforward and for that she was grateful. Though she was in some respects a bit nerdy she still preferred for things to be no more complex then necessary. With her somewhat lousy memory such an approach made things easier to remember.

Admittedly the day had started off a bit roughly, but it seemed that his luck was still holding strong with how it all turned around in a matter of hours. He was lost in a new country without any real idea as to what he was doing, and now he was a wielder of a mysterious power. The one that lead him to this immediate change of direction was Stacy who was helping him out. She came along at just the right time to steer things back on track and an even better direction.
“Fantastic,” his reply, as he now was aware of everything he needed to do. The first and foremost was to fix his mistake from earlier by now getting himself a room at a nearby hotel. Grabbing his smartphone and with a few quick flicks of his thumb he managed to get the first one that popped up for him. Some kind of cerulean hotel, it wasn't important right now. “There, that's all setup now and I even have direction,” not making the same mistake twice in one day now. The next thoughts in his mind lead to a whole new set of questions now, especially with him being so late to the game.
“Since you've got the experience, are there any people or things I need to watch out for?” granted, his mind could just be overthinking things in this regard. Still, information on any people she knew could be helpful especially if they were ones she might trust. Maybe he was being too trusting himself, but he'd rather believe that the person who was willing to help him out like that was a good person.

Drake's fiddling with the buttons eventually gave him directions to a hotel which had never happened when Stacy fiddled with it when she got her D-Tector a year ago. Instead the map led her to the Trailmon Terminal in Shibuya for the first time on the night her adventures first started.
When Drake asked if there were people and things he should look out for, she nodded before she said "I'm sure some humans can be dangerous but I've been relatively fortunate when it came to dangerous humans. The thing to really look out for are anomalies as the Digital World sometimes appears to not make sense even if one is an anime fan. There are also aggressive digimon to look out for both feral and evil digimon alike but at least having the ability to digivolve gives you either a fighting chance or the ability to flee since digimon tend to be physically faster and stronger than humans as well as having special powers."

When she was describing the types of Digimon that there were around, he could kind of understand that, if they were sentient. It was a shame that there were those types but it was probably one of those weird universal balance things. He wasn't smart enough to figure that stuff out, so he just kept to what he knew with everything. “Right, that makes sense. I guess that should be all the questions I have about all this,” there wasn't a whole lot else he could think of off the top of his head.
“Well, is there anything I can do to thank you for the help today?” he asked, it didn't seem fair to just kind of burden her like that. If there was something that he could do to help in return than the least he could do would be to offer. He didn't feel right just letting things sit with him getting the most out of this exchange. Eyeing the digivice some more he was tempted to start trying to mess with it, see what all it could offer him. He could probably do that when he retired to his room later. (ooc: edited my previous post to include a smartphone so it makes more sense, sorry!)

"Don't worry about do anything to thank me, Drake. You needed help and it's as simple as that. Helping others out is just what I do be they human or digimon." Stacy said as the pain she was feeling earlier wasn't as persistant as it was minutes ago. This was where she was glad digimon healed faster than humans did and since she usually ran around Shibuya in her rookie form she should be fully healed in a couple more days.
Drake's attention seemed to be drawn back to the digivice and she hoped he was planning his next move more carefully then she did when she first went to the Digital World. At least she had been lucky so far to get back each time in one piece but even she knew luck would only get one so far. "Just be sure you're careful whenever you do visit the Digital World because that world can be just as strange as some of the digimon at times."

“Well, at the very least I want to tell you that I greatly appreciate your help today,” while maybe he wouldn't be able to repay her today, possibly down the road he could do something to help her. The fact that she had a similar outlook to things as he did was an interesting twist, but a welcome one all the same. Helping people for the sake of it was a worthy cause even if some people thought you were naive or insane over it.
“I will do my best to be more careful than I was today, I promise,” a truly sincere promise, he wasn't going to do anything without taking some precautions. In all honesty, he was likely going to try to get over his jet lag before dealing with any of the Digital World. Being exhausted in this world was dangerous enough as it was, he didn't need to try that experience in another one.
The signs of exhaustion were there already as his mind was blanking on questions to ask that he hadn't already. “I guess, the next question is, what has happened over the last year at least? Anything major that probably should be known?” if there was something that he could potentially get into trouble for without knowing that would be bad. Plus never hurt to have an understanding of recent events of either world to know how to act.

Drake looked tired but still had questions to ask and when he asked what had happened that year it made her smile. She had a busy year though there were likely some incidents that happened that were awkward and she would take knowledge of such incidents to her grave. "Well it has been a busy year between adventures involving fights with various digimon and collecting spirits up to my ultimate level. Still have to find my spirits for my mega and super mega forms though judging by what forms I've gotten I have no idea how to even guess what might come next." Stacy said and then continued "In one of my early adventures when I could only had access to my rookie form of Hinookamimon an anomaly caused more than a mere disruption as a werewolf came to be and I had to fight it. Good thing a fire move I had worked to get rid of it."
"As for some other adventures, I got captured by a slaver and with the help of a previous acquaintance as well as the other slaves incited a rebellion defeating the one who captured me but learned he was only a low man in the ranks. My acquaintance and I met this guy and a mega level digimon later while I was trying to rescue him and another digimon. Carrying two injured passengers on my back at high speed as a ten foot tall wolf cerberus while avoiding getting hit by attacks or crashing into the two aggressive digimon all without dropping the injured passengers. Somehow we all got out of that mess alive.
"I also learned my brothers have both become spirit wielders as well and see them in the Digital World from time to time. Who knows what adventures this year will bring?"

The moment he saw her smile at just the thought of her past adventures, he knew these were going to be a wold ride. Not being disappointed right off the start it seemed that she had an encounter with a werewolf-like creature that attacked. If this was a sample of what the Digital World had in store he was already going to love it, freaking werewolves man! How often did someone actually get the chance to encounter one, even if not actually from this world. Taking a few deep breaths he tried to not get overexcited about the prospect he still needed to get some sleep. Still, he wondered if that meant that vampires and other creatures of the night had mirror version. “Wow, and that's just the start of things? I can't wait to see what this place has in store for me” he was going to love every minute.
That's when things really took off and she started to tell him about some of the other adventures, ones that included slavers of all things! If he hadn't seen that code thing on her hand, he might have had doubts about all this simply for how far-fetched it was sounding. There was no way it was fake though, it was one of those things that when people spoke about their past, you knew they were telling the truth. “Really? Slavers exist there as well? That's disappointing, but I suppose not that surprising to hear,” it was a shame, but it seemed to be a more common occurrence with sentient beings. Still, this whole thing was sounding like one of the biggest action movies one could come up with, but it was all real. That was just too amazing on its own.
Then she mentioned her brothers were spirit wielders as well, “That's awesome, you have something you can share with your family and I hope this year is just as amazing!” That must have been awesome to be able to have something like that with your family. Unfortunately for Drake he was now far too energized by the story to try falling asleep, he would need to figure something out or he'd wind up in the Digital World today.
“I wonder what kind of story I'm going to have in a year,” he laughed, it should be interesting to see where his life would go from this point on. There was probably no fighting it at this point so he started to fiddle with the Digivice on his wrist. If he could figure out how to give him a path to the Digital World, then he would be heading there immediately. He was far too impulsive and reckless to not at least test the waters, even if it meant diving head first into danger.

Yes it was disappointing that slavery existed even in a place like the Digital World. "Though at times the Digital World can be filled with curiosities, some crazier than others, it is still unfortunate slavery exists even there." she said as her thoughts went to two separate slavers one being a Musyamon and part of a slave trade ring and the other, a Matadormon, who just seemed to be an independent agent but who knew seeing as the Digital World was a big place after all.
"The Digital World despite its many differences also has a fair share of similarities to our own and, even though my brothers live in the United States, we occasionally meet up in the Digital World meaning there are likely natural portals world wide even though I'm not completely sure if that is the case." Stacy said as it appeared she had momentarily entered nerd mode but it was brief as she saw Drake fiddling with the digivice around his wrist. She hoped he wasn't planning something to reckless or impulsive.

“Yeah, sentience can bring about the best and worst of beings,” it was a sad truth. Sure, there were animals that acted in brutal manners, but that was cause they acted on their instincts. When someone or something with sentience acted in a brutal manner, they chose to do that. It was a subtle, but very important difference that tended to put things into perspective. There wouldn't be a dull time in the Digital World knowing that, especially with what he could feel now. A strange stirring of thoughts were shifting around the back of his mind, that were not his own but were at the same time.
“That's a fair way to look at things. The fact that you can meet up with your brothers in the Digital World is an amazing aspect as well. I also agree that there have to be naturally occurring portals all over the world, it wouldn't make sense to just be limited to one location,” at least in his mind. What did he know about parallel worlds in the first place? He just learned that one even existed! When he located the nearest entrance to the Digital world, he memorized the location so that he could get to it at a later point.
There was a little bit of conflict within his mind, should he check in at the hotel or should he rush towards the Digital World at full speed. They both had pros and cons in his mind, so it was a matter of deciding fully what path he would take. Although there was a compromise option as well, with that in mind it would probably be better to get going soon. “Hm, so I have a lot of information to start things off with already. Is there anything else you can think of or is that pretty much all the need to know?” wouldn't hurt to make sure he had as much as possible. Even if it might seem unimportant, it might come in useful at a later point.

Yes sentience had its advantages but its disadvantages as well. Slavery was only one of the disadvantages. Others were things like prejudice, though she was lucky not to see such a thing, unless it was digimon with hatred of humans, in the Digital World so she counted her blessings there. Though who knew what tomorrow would bring?
Drake made sense about it being logical there were other gates to the Digital World. After all how would her brothers have gotten to the Digital World their first time. Now thinking about it more, it seemed like an odd coincidence that she and her two younger brothers all became spirit wielders. Was there a reason for such a thing seeing as the could of became tamers or xros generals. Now thoughts were spinning in her very active mind as she tried to puzzle the meaning out or maybe she was thinking too hard.
Though she was in thought, she was still listening to Drake and good thing too as he then asked if there was anything else he needed to know. Shaking her head, she said "Where would the fun be if I told you everything I learned in my journey, Drake, Life is a learning experience and, as long as you are careful in the Digital World, you should be just fine.

Well, he couldn't really fault her with that line, because he believed it was accurate as well. It was part of why he was so energized to head into the place himself. The fact she said it though seemed to reaffirm his own decision, meaning he was going to go very soon. “Yeah, that's a fair point. I'll have to find out what's in store personally. Thank you for everything you've told me so far,” it would give him something of an edge starting out at least. It was time for him to take life by the horns again and see what he could experience.
With that it was probably best that he start to head out, he'd probably taken up enough of her time as it was and he didn't want to bother her any longer. Standing from the bench he gave a quick stretch, listening to a few pops and cracks as he did so, relieving some tension. “Well, I think it's time I got settled in then since I've got a lot of new experiences ahead of me. Thank you for your help once again, if there's at any point something I can do to help you out, let me know. Okay?” he smiled. He figure it was always good policy to help those who helped you, but then he generally just helped people anyways.
“Heck, if you want to just shoot the breeze stop by, I'll be at the cerulean tower tokyu hotel,” he offered Stacy. Sometimes it was just good to have a friend to hand out with and not have to worry about random nonsense.

"Don't worry about it, Drake. Helping others is what I tend to do even if I get my fair share of bumps and bruises along the way." Stacy said as she watched Drake get up and pop out his back. Hopefully he wouldn't do at least one of the stupid thing she did last year. Riding on the back of a Vajiramon was the first thing that came to mind. Granted she lived to fight another day but the aftermath of riding the large sword wielding ox was not pretty and she wouldn't discuss the damage even with her younger brothers even though she had long since fully healed.
"Who knows, maybe one day we'll come across each other again during our adventures." Stacy said as she got up stretching as well while ignoring the pain of her bruised ribs. "Anyway I have to head back soon. Good bye." Stacy said as she headed for an alleyway and out of sight of Drake. Unknown to the other spirit wielder she had digivolved to Hinookamimon and dashed off heading back to AEGIS headquarters. He would likely hear about a white canine wondering the streets eventually.
