Man, this certainly seemed to be a roller coaster of a day so far! Just hanging out with Connie was annoying enough for Tsubaki, but thanks to these three she was able to actually empathize with the fuzzball for a bit. She almost felt a little guilty about chucking him in a trashcan that somebody puked in. Almost. There there was a little regret now that Connie was back on Tsubaki's shoulder. And he sure as hell wasn't going to go back on top of Tsubaki's head. There wasn't enough shampoo in the world for that shit.
And as for Connie... realizing that you're capable of making mistakes was a big deal for him. Honestly, he wanted to seclude himself and reflect on this, but the job wasn't done just yet! There was still something to be found! For a true shining beacon of justice, the job was never done!
...That all said, Tsubaki and Connie followed Hana, Data, and Rush as she led them to wherever this thread took them.

Hana lead the way as the group continued onward, following the signal that Hana's digivice had picked up. As they walked, Rush set Data back on the ground so that he could digivolve back into Hagurumon. "Ah, that feel's better." Data happily stated, stretching his gears a bit as they travelled. After about fifteen minutes of walking, the signal tracker led them to a rather unexpected destination. "CatchMamemon's Gameland? The digimental is in an arcade?" Hana deadpanned. "Why is a digimental in an arcade, of all places?!"Hana and Data went to the Arcade's window to take a peek inside. The interior certainly looked rather impressive, with a wide variety of games held within. "Hana, look over there!" Data exclaimed, pointing one of his gears towards a crane machine in the corner of the arcade. Two of the prizes nestled within the machine appeared to be shaped like an egg and had a crest emblazoned on them. "I think those are the digimentals we're looking for."
A quick check with Hana's digivice confirmed that the eggs in the claw machine were probably the digimentals they were looking for. Hana turned towards Tsubaki and Connie and said, "Alright, it looks like Lady Luck is on our side this time. Good news, the digimentals we're after are right inside. Apparently there are two of them. Bad news, we'll have to win them out of a claw machine. How good are you with those?" WC: 2069/3000

Hana, or rather, Hana's Digivice had led them to a location neither of them expected. Tsubaki just laughed it off, and when Hana gave her reaction, the young woman just slapped her on the back. "Maybe it just means that some of us here need to lighten up!" She joked, poking at the Wanyamon at her side.
They peered into the arcade through the window, and when Data pointed towards the claw machine, she squinted her eyes in confusion. "Wait, you were just lookin' for a couple of bowling pins? Man, I'm sure we could find a few of those in our world, if you want!"
"Don't mistake bowling pins for Digimentals!" Connie interjected, rather angrily. "And this is not some sign to 'lighten up'! Clearly it's a sign meant to stay vigilant and serious despite the temptations to fool around!" He turned to Hana with a furrowed brow. "You must not give in to the urge to fool around and play all of these games! Only focus on what you're here for, and then leave this place!"
"This is why you don't take guys shopping..." Tsubaki muttered, jabbing the little fuzzball with her finger. "Hana, I'm not so good with all those games, but I might have a plan to get them out, depending on the security! But... how much security could a simple arcade possibly have...?"

"Huh, you're right. They do actually kinda look like bowling pins, now that you mention it." Hana admitted, squinting as she took a better look at the digimentals in the claw machine. "That's kind of funny, if you think about it."
"However humorous they may appear, digimentals are no joke. Don't underestimate what they can do for a Digimon." Data cautioned. "Who knows what an evil Digimon could do if they got their hands on them. We can't just leave them there for anyone to try and take them."
"Yeah, I get what you're saying." Hana agreed, rubbing her chin in thought. She quickly put a wide smirk on her face before she continued speaking. "Weeeeeell, I do have some extra money besides what I'll be paying for your food with so if you really want to we can probably afford to play a couple of games while we're here for the digimentals."
At that statement, Rush had such a wide look of shock and joy on his face that you'd think Yggdrasil himself had descended from the sky to deliver a gift to him (complete with an angelic choir). The Keramon almost immediately started cackling and bouncing up and down with joy.
Tsubaki's mention of security did case Data to worry a bit, though. "Please tell me you're plan doesn't involve anything illegal. I think we've committed enough crime for today, and I really don't want to risk pissing off an Ultimate level Digimon like CatchMamemon." WC: 2316/3000

Tsubaki shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms in response to Data's concern. "Well, we'd be the ones committing the crimes this time, not you guys! And you're the one that said we should try to get them away from any bad guys, right? So we just shove Connie in there, he squeezes himself in with his tiny fuzzy body, grabs the Digimetals or whatever, and pops right back out! It's not technically illegal, right? Just gaming the system a little, you know?"
"I will not abide by stealing the Digimentals!" Constance piped up in nigh-outrage. "If we steal them, then we'd be the evildoers that Data said we need to watch out for! We should simply find this CatchMamemon, inform him of the predicament, and then ask for his aid in order to secure the Digimentals in a perfectly legal and honorable manner!"
"Yeah... chances are if he's got some super rare treasures in a claw-vending machine, then he's either too stupid to know what he's got, or he doesn't care about what kind of people that eventually obtain it. Either way, it's not likely that he'll be willing to help," Tsubaki reasoned.
"You... thought this out... but stealing is still the wrong thing to do, no matter what the reason! We should at least attempt to reason with CatchMamemon, first!"
"But if it doesn't work out, then he'll be onto us if these Digimentals suddenly go missing!"
"Then we simply obtain them by playing the game!"
"And if the game's rigged so no one can actually win the game, what then?"
The two began arguing back and forth. It was clear that neither one was going to agree right now. But maybe they might be willing to begrudgingly help out if Hana came up with an idea herself, or if she sided with one of the two?

"Um, guys? I think we should at least try to win the digimentals fair and square before we consider more... drastic options. And let's try not to get CatchMamemon involved unless we have no other option, in case he does try to throw us out." Hana offered, trying to mediate between the other girl and the Wanyamon. "If we can't get the digimentals after a couple of tries, then we can move on to another idea. Does that sound like a reasonable compromise?""Ah. Perhaps I may be of assistance, my young friends?" A new voice popped up from behind Hana. The teen jumped and spun around to see who had spoken, only to see what appeared to be a miniature, wingless Lillymon wearing an armored dress. "If you desire aid with beating a claw machine, then the Knight of Flowers herself is more than happy to help. It is my solemn vow as a knight to help those who need it. Years of training with my sword has honed my hand-eye coordination to the point that no mere claw machine can best me." As she spoke, the miniature Lillymon transformed the flower around her left wrist to reveal a rapier-like blade before reverting it back to her hand almost immediately afterwards.

"If you wanna try it, then go ahead..." Tsubaki answered Hana's attempt at mediation. "But if this CatchMamemon guy is putting magic treasures that your magic little device is leading you towards in a random claw game of all places, then obviously something's fishy... Just sayin'..." But she nodded along to signify that she was going to go along with Hana's plan. Though...
"Very well, I shall operate this claw game and obtai-" But Connie was interrupted by the sudden appearance of some flower lady who suddenly offered her services. Tsubaki and Connie jumped a little, but otherwise remained unperturbed by Knight of Flower's arrival.
"Hi. Hello. I'm Tsubaki. And this is Connie."
"She means to say Constance St. Bernard!"
"And where we come from, we introduce ourselves before butting into other people's conversations. It's nice to meet you. Unless it's not."
But whether the rude, albeit helpful Thornlillymon introduced herself or not, Tsubaki would follow along with Hana and whatever, twiddling their thumbs while some stranger apparently did all the work for them, or something.

"Ah, my humble apologies. It appears that I did forget to give you my name. I'm Sakura, and it is a pleasure to meet you all." The ThornLillymon said with a respectful bow. "I suppose I can get a bit overenthusiastic at times. Anyways, shall we enter this... not-so-humble establishment to help you acquire the treasures you seek?"
"Yeah, sure. Let's go with that." Data replied. He had to agree with Tsubaki that this whole thing seemed just a little too convenient for his liking, so he'd keep his eyes open for any kind of catch. Oh dear Yggdrasil, there's two of them now.
The group followed Sakura into the arcade, where the were immediately greeted by CatchMamemon himself, who had floated out from behind a welcome desk near the front of the establishment.
"Welcome, dear guests, to the grand opening of CatchMamemon's Game Land! You have the honor of being the very first guests to set foot in these hallowed halls, so I hope you have plenty of fun while you're here!" CatchMamemon enthusiastically told the group with a dopey grin on his face. As his gaze slid over to Connie, the Ultimate Digimon pointed to a pair of doors near the entrance and said, "The bathrooms are over there if you wish to freshen up your young friend there. Just call me if you need anything!"
The CatchMamemon happily hummed to himself as he floated back behind the desk and started to read a comic book.
"Well, that's one point to the theory that CatchMamemon isn't the brightest bulb in the package." Data said as he stared at the CatchMamemon. WC: 2802/3000

Tsubaki nodded along, listening to Sakura's introduction and not-apology. She shrugged as she and Connie followed the gang inside, listend to CatchMamemon spout his silly intro, and nodded after sniffing Connie a couple of times.
"Perhaps... that would be for the best..." He admitted, bereaved with shame at his current appearance. Tsubaki headed over towards the bathrooms, two identical doors with strange symbols that Tsubaki didn't even remotely recognize. Welp. She had Connie with her, so either one was good, unless the symbols meant "Dinosaurs" and "Non-Dinosaurs". You could never tell in the Digital World. She stepped into the bathroom and found it completely empty. You know, because it was an arcade full of gamers? Who the hell would spend their time cleaning up?
"What do you think is going to happen?" Connie asked as Tsubaki took him over towards a nearby sink. She turned the water on, waiting for it to move to a comfortable temperature.
"Dunno," She said, then shoving Connie into the sink and thoroughly scrubbing his fuzzy body. Connie let out some gargles of protest, but realized that he probably shouldn't be opening his mouth in this situation as Tsubaki continued. "If things do down bad they go down bad. Once we're done here we'll keep an eye out, I guess." After the scrubbing was complete, she shoved Connie underneath an air drier until he was barely more than a damp Wanyamon. And his fur never looked so lustrous. What was in that soap?
And afterwards, Tsubaki headed out to keep on Hana and the gang. Did they need her help? Probably not. They didn't really feel like playing games in such a suspicious place at this point.

As Tsubaki and Connie went into the bathroom to clean off the Wanyamon, the rest of the group went over to the claw machine that held the digimentals. As Hana got out the bits to operate the machine, Sakura cracked her knuckles and firmly grasped the machine's controls while Hana inserted the bits.
The ThornLillymon kept a look of intense focus as she deftly operated the machine, managing to grab one of the digimentals with the claw on the first try. However, the claw dropped the digimental near the machine's chute, and the egg-shaped treasure wobbled on the edge of the opening. As it wobbled, Sakura delivered a swift kick to the side of the machine, causing the egg to fall into the chute into Hana's waiting hands. Data looked over at CatchMamemon to see if he heard the thunk, but the mechanical Digimon was too engrossed in his reading to notice. WC: 2955/3000

Tsubaki stepped out of the restroom with a damp Wanyamon in tow, Connie none too pleased with being scrubbed down, but even he realized the necessity of the situation. And they watched as Hana, Date, Rush, and plant Digimon that had some kind of flowery name or something... Sakura! that was it! They watched as Sakura managed to retrieve the first Digimental from the machine, though the methods weren't exactly legitimate. Well... it wasn't any of Tsubaki's business anymore. Hana seemed to have learned her lesson from Rush's earlier incident, and she seemed to have all the help she needed.
Sure, Hana said that she'd pay for a meal if Tsubaki and Connie helped out, but... they were off on the sidelines while Hana's new companion did all the work. So... there really wasn't any point to Tsubaki being here anymore. So she took off, figuring that Hana could handle the rest on her own.

Hana and Co. were too busy trying to get the second digimental to notice Tsubaki and Connie leaving, which actually came out without any problems whatsoever. With both Digimentals in hand, Hana stored the two treasures in her digivice and went to thank the ThornLillymon. "Thank you so much for your help, Miss Sakura."
"Not to worry, I was more than happy to help." Sakura said as she shook Hana's hand. "Just call my name if you need my help again."
With her job done, the ThornLillymon took her leave and left the arcade. Hana finally noticed Tsubaki's and Connie's absence and went to look for them, to no avail. Hana was sad that they left, but she did plan to buy them the meal they agreed on if she ran into them again. A deal is a deal, after all.
As the Tamer and her partners prepared to head home with their new treasures, Hana still couldn't help but feel sad that they didn't get a chance to say goodbye. WC: 3126/3000
