"Hey, hey! What about this one here, Uncle?" asked the woman curiously as she prodded a gloved finger against a page in the traveling magazine she was holding. She leaned over so the jijimon seated next to her could see what she was fussing over.
"Oh! Why that's Eldoradimon," answered the digimon with a confirming nod at the picture. He then leaned back in his seat before adjusting the blue tie around his neck. "Like the Dark Area, it can be a dangerous place for the unprepared, and for humans doubly so! Digimon in that city aren't the friendliest to outsiders."
"Oh yeah?" mused Yasuko with a mischievous smile. "Well, that's a shame. Isn't El Dorado-"
"Eldoradi," corrected the jijimon gently and helpfully.
"El Dorado," persisted the human, "..that city of gold, or something? What's it doing on a turtle's back?" With one hand she shifted her magenta shades up to rest on her hair so she could get a better look at the digimon's picture. She briefly skimmed the information written about it, but couldn't find any details for where it was other than current location unknown. That made sense in a weird way; if the city really was built on a digimon why would it stay in one place?
"It's hard to say? I've never been there myself, but I'd imagine that there's a lot of ancient knowledge within the city itself." The jijimon weaved his fingers together in his lap before twiddling his thumbs. He laughed softly before tilting his head to the side. "I don't know if you'd find any kind of treasure there, though? You should visit the Southern Tropics, instead?"
This time it was Yasu's turn to laugh. And so she did, while politely handing the jijimon back his magazine.
"No way, Uncle! There's beaches back home anyways. It'd be pretty dumb of me to come all this way to another world only to see the same sights, right?! So Eldoradimon it is!" Rising up from her seat Yasu moved her shades back down over her eyes before turning towards the elderly looking digimon. She clapped her hands together and bent forward in a small bow. "Thank you for sharing your knowledge with a newbie, Uncle! Let me get you lunch next time I see you, yeah?"
"You're very much welcome young lady," replied the jijimon as he placed the magazine down and grabbed his staff instead. "How do you intend to find Eldoradimon, though?"
Straightening up her posture and placing her hands on her hips Yasuko stared blankly at the jijimon for a few seconds. She opened her mouth to answer, but shifted gears as the digimon moved to karate chop her forehead with the large paw on his staff. Raising both arms above her defensively the woman gasped as the blow managed to force her to slide back a little.
"The youth are always in a hurry," sighed the jijimon before smiling up at Yasuko and putting his staff down. "Just be careful out there, okay? And let's get ramen next time you're in town!"
"Heh. Thanks again for the lessons, Uncle! And ramen it is!" Yasu grinned back at the digimon before giving him a thumbs up. "Who knows, next time you see me I may even have some Eldoradimon treasure for ya!"
Not even ten minutes later though, she was still thinking about a way to find the damned city. It certainly wasn't going to be an easy task in a foreign world, even if she could spirit digivolve.
"Man, you'd think they'd put a pet microchip on that turtle or something!" she complained out loud as she stared up at the sky while walking around. "How do you even lose an entire city?!"
