"Good mood or not, we're about to give it a wake up call," said Yasuko with a chuckle. "But yeah, spirits got their own personalities. Like with people, every spirit is still their own person. Some may be quiet, but try not to think of them as only tools."
She grinned when he joked about his digimon form being big and noticeable. Honestly that wouldn't change much from his human form. Unless he turned into some kind of Lovecraftian horror, then that'd be a difference kind of noticeable.
"Yeah, you already stand out for all the right reasons, but let's keep this surprise to a private showing." As Drake started to climb up the ladder in the alleyway his retort to her joke made her laugh. She did steal a glance at the man's rear end though as his legs pushed him up higher. She even gave a short whistle of approval before giving Drake a brief, casual salute.
"If you ever want a second opinion, though? That is America's ass!"
She was quick to climb up after her date, and nodded gratefully as she took his offered hand to get onto the roof. The neon lights glowing above the streets cast a warming ambiance of electric blue and candy apple red onto their roof, but they were at least out of sight from the ground.
"You might be right, though; about us having a different relationship with the Digital World. I don't think I've seen tamers whip out their own fractal code." As she started walking to the center of the roof Yasuko held out a hand to the side. A ring of coding appeared around her hand, like a glowing white band of bar code. "I guess it makes sense that we never figured it out before we got our digivices, because who would have thought we could reveal that kind of thing before that? Well, time for show and tell!"
As she turned to face Drake she pulled out her D-Tector from her jacket with her other hand. In a smooth motion she then ran the scanner over her fractal code.
"Execute! Spirit evolution!"
Yasuko took on a glow of white light as her body's data reconfigured itself. Her form then shrank down as her silhouette changed drastically. Once the transformation was complete a Black Tailmon stood before Drake as the light faded from her body.
"Just like that, Yasu the Black Tailmon!" she announced with a forward flip without touching the ground and landing on her feet again as she bowed. "Easy!" The feline digimon grinned up at Drake as she gestured to the man with a gloved paw. "Now you try!"

The whistle caught his attention as he looked over his shoulder to see her saluting his ass and then the line about it being America's ass. He had to contain his laughter simply so no one would realize they were back there, but he did let some of it out. That along with standing out for all the right reasons, she was good at giving compliments he hadn't been expecting those lines. That was a good sign of things to come at least.
At the top of the roof, he had to admit that he liked the view with the mix of colors as well as having a good vantage of the street. This was a spot to remember, a good place to think and just take in the view with very few people thinking to look to the roof for someone. A little not so secret getaway spot, but that would have to wait a little bit later since it seemed that things were going to be starting now.
She said that he might be right about their connections and mentioning a fractal code, which before the question could be asked was answered when a ring of white bar code surrounded her hand. With his attention focused on what would be coming next, he wouldn't say much, but rather pay attention to everything that she did just to have a starting point. “Yeah, it's not something you would just try on your own,” agreeing with her second point, that kind of thing most people didn't consider.
Then she brought out the digivice, said the phrase that seemed to activate the sequence and then swiped the digivice across her hand. Her transformation seemed simple enough as well, and when it was said and done she was now in the form of a cat. It was an amazing thing to see and he stared in awe of what he just witnessed, but she said that it was his turn now. It was strange, there was a weird sort of anxiety about it now that it was his turn, but he wasn't about to back down.
Taking a deep breath and letting out an exhale, lifting his left hand like she had and focusing for a second would have his own fractal code burst to life. It was a strange sensation to feel the energy encompassing his hand, but it was only going to get weirder from here on out. Holding his digivice up, he prepared for the next part, following the same steps that Yasuko had just seconds before him.
“Execute! Spirit Evolution!” his voice resonated, then following the words he would swipe the scanner across the code as it seemed to absorb the energy into itself. From there the same light that encompassed her would do the same to him and his own form would shrink becoming quadrupedal as the silhouette focused around his form. Armor would sprout from the light wrapping around him before a billowing red cape would then cover his form as the light faded. In his place was a small, armored dragon with a red cape and hood.
The first thing that hit him were the new senses that he had acquired, the first being smell, which was strong given he was in an animal form. Eyes could see a bit better, but wasn't as good as Yasuko's probably was in her cat form. Still this was an amazing sensation compared to when he was a human and with that thought he lifted his left leg that was now covered in armor and had large claws on the end. With a satisfied noise he turned his attention to Yasu, “Well, how do I look?”

She was glad that after she had transformed Drake hadn't recoiled in fright. Personally she thought she looked adorable, but it was good to know he wasn't scared of strange things or allergic to cats. At first Drake looked a bit hesitant, but Yasuko allowed him to take his time. She didn't have to wait long until the man raised up a hand and released his own fractal code. Then he said the magic words, and started his own Spirit Evolution. As the light surrounding Drake began to fade away Yasuko's expression lit up with excitement at what she saw.
"You look like a badass! Can't say I know anyone else who can turn into a dragon. You really are something special, Drake," she said as she lightly tapped a claw against the hackmon's horn. Yasuko then walked a circle around Drake as she got a better look at his digimon form. "White's not my color, but you look good in it! That's a pretty cool cape you got as well!" When she ended up back in front of Drake she rested her gloved paws on her hips and nodded in approval.
"Anyone who thought you looked tough as a human should see you now! How's it feel, though? Things might be a little strange walking on all fours, but that body's built for it so give it some time. It took me a while to get used to having a tail myself."
To demonstrate Yasuko held her arms out to her sides before falling backwards. Her long tail reached out like a third arm and pushed against the ground before she used it to prop herself back up.
"This really is like the ultimate VR!"

There was still a moment of sensory overload, as this form had much better senses than he did as a human. Keeping still to take it all in he listen to all the sounds of the street below, taking slow methodical breaths to try to ease his body adjusting. The smells were easier to adjust to, there were a lot of good smells and a few bad from the alley, but overall not overwhelming compared to the foods. This was such a strange feeling with everything coming at him at once, but he was pushing through it well enough. A pleasant distraction was there to help as well, the black cat walking up to him to inspect his new form.
Admittedly he wasn't sure what form he had taken but upon hearing that it was a dragon a toothy grin crossed his lips. “Nice, dragons have always been a favorite of mine,” he glanced towards the tapping on his horn, oddly he couldn't feel it. That was something to check into, but another thing that caught his attention was that his peripheral vision was a lot better as while she circled him he could see her through pretty much the whole trip. Freaky, but it was also a cool little trick, he was so used to his normal limited that this wide range was just distracting. “White will work, the cape is a neat touch. This is an interesting form,” he would need to try some other things out with it later. She mentioned that it would take getting used to walking on all four, and asked how it felt.
Standing on all fours, he shifted his weight back and forth a bit to adjust, the first thing he noticed was that there was much more weight to his body. “It's got a lot of power, but it's heavier than I'm used to, the armor is probably weighing me down,” just from the little bit he could tell by shifting around. It would be good to keep in mind in case he wound up in a fight, he would be moving slower, from what he could tell, if that slower was still faster than his human would need to be seen. Watching as she bounced with her tail, and held herself up by it, he looked at his own form to try and see what it might have with it.
“This really is something else,” he wanted to test out this form a bit, but destroying the building wouldn't be the best way to do that. “I might have to take a trip just to test this form out,” he wanted to test its durability as well, there was so much to do to learn his own limits.

"Huh, maybe I'll have to get a cape too, someday! Really liking how your hood got its own goggles and everything," she said with a chuckle as Drake commented on his own appearance. She was already wearing gloves, and having a matching cape or jacket would look good she imagined. From the dull thud Drake made when he went on all fours Yasu could already tell Drake's new body was strong. In comparison her own footsteps were quiet, and felt very light whenever she walked.
"Think of it as more training? Maybe this form or your other forms later will even influence your martial arts style. I bet you'd get a lot of students if you advertised a dragon style!" The Black Tailmon chuckled again as she threw some punches into the air playfully. "Hey, y'know what? You get good at it, and you could probably make a school for it in the Digital World, even."
She paused to tap a claw against her chin in thought.
"Mmm, if you want, there's a place called Infinity Coliseum outside of Terminus City. It's a giant arena where a lot of fights are held, but they got training areas too. You could probably try out your new body without worry over there?" Yasu shrugged her shoulders. "Or you could go to any of the other areas of the Digital World too, if you're looking for a specific kinda scenery? Just try to stay out of the Dark Area; I hear that place is bad news, even for digimon."

“Always possible I didn't expect a dragon to be wearing a cape, I can only imagine what other creatures might do the same,” the fact that it had a hood and goggles as well was an interesting touch. Flipping the hood up, he noticed that the red seemed to cover a pretty decent amount of his body. It might help with moving through places in a hurry if he needed to, not many people would pay that close attention to someone in a hood. Probably? He wasn't one hundred percent sure, but it seemed he would have a bit of time to run through crowds without being noticed too easily.
“Yeah, there's a lot that I could do with this form, but not until I get the movements figured out,” with that said he would start to move, and as he did so, little flashes of his current form popped into his head. Like memories that came flooding back to him, but they weren't his own, which led him to believe it was his spirit trying to help. She mentioned possibly being able to teach in the Digital World if he could get it figured out. “That might be an idea, of course I'd also have to see what my other forms look like as well,” from what he had been told this was one of the weaker forms of a digimon and there were other much stronger. With having encountered a couple different digimon as well in his first dive, he also discovered they had rather large size differences.
“I'll make sure to check that out too, there's a lot I'll need to figure out with this new form,” if there was some sort of training facility that might not be a bad way to test the limits of his form. She mentioned some place called the dark area and a flash of anger surged through him, causing him to take a partial step back and shake his head. “Apparently the spirit agrees about not liking the Dark Area, that was weird,” first time he felt someone elses anger before, not a nice experience.
“Hm, so what shall we do next?” they had done quite a lot on just the first date already, where did they go from here with it.

"Hmm. Guess it is a bit rare to see a dragon wearing clothes, but who's gonna tell you not to? You're a dragon!" Her logic was impeccable as far as she was concerned. She watched as he moved a bit, probably getting a better feel for his new body she figured. Drake seemed receptive to her suggestion about checking out the Infinity Coliseum, which made her smile.
"Yeah, don't sweat it too hard for now. From my understanding rookie forms like us have about the physical strength of peak human athletes. Well, that might not be much different from your usual self, though?" Yasu chuckled as she shook her head. Even if she was stronger in this body physically, she wondered if she'd still fare any better in a fistfight with a human as strong as Drake. "Of course, who knows what kind of special attacks you might have like breathing fire. So best not to get too over the top in this world."
Drake's recoil at the mention of the Dark Area quickly wiped away the carefree smile from the BlackTailmon's face, though. Genuine concern took its place as the Hackmon steadied himself.
"Yeah, I hear that," she said in agreement with Drake's spirit. "Although, even if that's a bad place I don't think you'll have too much to worry about? 'cause you got me to protect ya!" Yasu's cheerful smile returned as she reached out and gently patted the Hackmon on the cheek.
"As for what's next? Hey, I'm game for anything. Movies, bar hopping, clubbing. But you also said you like video games, right? You ever been to a Japanese arcade yet? There's multistory buildings with rows of games."

“Yeah, that's true too, not many people want to try telling a dragon what it can or can't do,” he laughed. Most would just go with the thinking of a dragon could wear whatever it wanted, and they wouldn't say anything about it. Which was probably his own thinking to an extent, but for now he would deal with the cape and goggles. Who knew when these things would come in handy, a few ideas popped into his head with it. Although, having adjusted to being in this form, something still didn't feel quite right with the body, but he wasn't sure what it meant.
“I mean, that's still a fair bit of capability. That is good to know though, even a rookie can be that strong,” which didn't surprise him too much, because this little form was flowing with power and he could tell that there was more to come. Breathing fire, that was true, dragons could usually do that in most cases. That would require future investigation, right now was probably not the best time or place to see if breathing fire was a thing for him. “Yeah, that's fair, last thing I need is for people to freak out and go on about a fire breathing dragon,” just that thought was a bit weird for him to consider.
The burst of anger was a bit worrying, it felt like he had lost control of himself for a second there. If that was just the power of his spirit, he wondered if it was a reflection of the power behind the forms as well. Though he had noted the concerned look on his date's face and assumed it hadn't just been a small thing that occurred, he would need to have words with his spirit at another time.
“Makes me curious though,” her next comment caused a chuckle. “I appreciate that, I feel safer already,” he grinned genuinely. It wasn't everyday someone offered to protect him, it was a bit amusing of a thought but he wasn't going to diminish her offer. He had a feeling she could hold her own regardless of form anyways. The gloved paw touching his cheek would receive a slight nuzzle to show his appreciation more. “I'll be there to protect you too, after all, it'll be us against the world right?” he gave a playful wink, which might be awkward now that he realized he was still dragon.
“Hm, those all do sound nice and while I wouldn't mind checking out the arcade, we should leave some things for future dates, no?” he teased. Though he did like the choices that she suggested, maybe there was something they could plan foe the next time or just go do it. “How about movie last, to wind the date down. I'll let you choose what we do before then, how's that?” he figured it could be a nice compromise, so it wasn't just him deciding either.

Seeing him laugh made her smile. She had to imagine that not every human might be happy about their spirit transformations, but this was going well! Yasu took a turn to chuckle when he mentioned fire breathing dragons in the real world.
"Ah, depending on where you do it you might even get away with it! You're in the country that created Godzilla, y'know! Might be best to run with that gag if you get caught, and pretend to be in some kinda show or something!"
The mood seemed to be picking back up from the sudden shift, and Yasuko wasn't going to complain about that. If Drake's spirit didn't like the Dark Area she'd just avoid the topic for now. Her smile widened into a grin at both Drake's appreciation and the nuzzle.
"Us against the world," she echoed softly, but sentimentally. Classical romance wasn't really her forte, so she liked the way he brought that phrase back up like that. She pulled her paw back as they started to talk about things to do next.
"Sure! We can save the arcades for another time no problem. It'll give me some time to practice, too." The Black Tailmon playfully stuck out her tongue before chuckling. "Winding down with a movie sounds good, but I won't lie I've got some excitement to burn off before slowing down. There's an indoor batting cage I like to go to nearby, so let's hit them up for some fun! But first.. Guess I should teach you how to return to your old body, huh?"
Yasu stepped back for some room as she explained what she was doing.
"There's no scanning code for this part, it's more of a command by thought. I find it easiest to imagine your digimon form, and stepping forward and out of it with your human body. Just relax, and soon it'll be as easy as breathing."
To demonstrate Yasu closed her eyes and stood still as she took a deep breath. Upon releasing that breath her body glowed, and the silhouette of light started to reshape itself back into her human form. The radiance dissipated soon after, leaving the woman standing in the place the Black Tailmon had been moments before.
"See? Easy as breathing!"

That was true, if he played things just right he could probably just pass it off as them filming a movie or something along those lines. That would probably work a couple of times, so he would need to make sure to keep as low a profile as he could to prevent too much attention being brought to it. There was so much to figure out with this new ability and the new,,,companion that seemed to be riding with him in this form. Maybe there was a way he could try to talk to it, figure out what their path forward together would be and see what it was thinking.
She repeated the words and a sharp nod followed from the small dragon, though not as impressive a form for the gesture, he still would follow through with it. Which meant that he would have to try and figure out how to get stronger sooner, rather than later. There were some other things he wanted to figure out with his form as it was, so it would be good to just talk to the spirit itself.
“That works a little competition would make things interesting too,” never hurt to have a little friendly competition with things like that. Plus if it was one of Japan's massive arcade's there were bound to be all kinds of games, it could turn into a really fun trip. She mentioned an indoor batting cage to burn off some excitement and he nodded, while he could swing a bat himself he was not proficient with it, so it would be entertaining to see how well he did there. She mentioned changing back into his old form and he realized that would be good to know as well.
His eyes were focused on her as she explained what he needed to do, and watched as she returned to her human form. Without saying much he followed the instructions that had been given and focused before light surrounded him once more, returning to his height as the light broke into shards and fell to the ground to reveal his own human form once again. Opening his eyes he examined his own hands to check if it worked for him and breathed a sigh of relief when it had.
“That was pretty easy,” he admitted, it was more of a visualization of the effect rather than anything else. It was strange, it was his body, but after having shifted forms it still felt odd for a bit. Probably just something in his head, “Well, now that that's sorted, shall we head off?" he smirked and offered for her to head down first.

A competition sounded fun to her, but there was no telling what kind of contest it would be this early on. Maybe later she'd ask her little sister what games were popular these days so she could practice. That was a problem for the future, though. As she watched Drake change back into a human she couldn't help but be reminded of how much he was built like a tank, in both bodies no less!
"See? I'd never steer you wrong!" she said excitably as she lightly clapped a hand on the side of the man's shoulder. "You're a natural already!" Yasu then nodded in agreement with leaving, and headed down the ladder first.
Once they were both down on the streets again the woman returned to Drake's side, and lightly took a hold of his arm again as they walked. Her hand gave his arm a playful squeeze.
"Sorry if that's annoying, but muscular guys are a rare find here, so I'm just enjoying myself while I have you," she explained with a grin and chuckle, completely unashamed as she stared up at Drake.
As they moved along she pointed out a few different places of interest. The nightlife had a lot to offer, and even she had found a few places to enjoy recently. A karaoke bar here, a nightclub for dancing over there, and a couple different sports bars she just liked to lounge in. With the streets packed with entertainment it wasn't hard at all to find something to do.
When the pair got to the batting cages Yasuko made the arrangements for them to play. The building was fairly large with nets hanging down to divide the individual batting lanes. A pedestal with controls and a couple metal bats hanging on its side stood near the batting area. On the far side of the lane was a canvass sheet pulled taunt, with a hole cut in its upper right section.
"Speed and timing are controlled by the panel," instructed Yasu as she nodded to the pedestal while taking off her jacket. The gloves she had stuffed into one of its pockets earlier were removed before the jacket was finally set aside on a bench. "When it starts up, a projection of a pitcher will appear on the far side, and the hole is where the ball comes out, synched with the pitcher's movements."
After she put her gloves on Yasu picked up one of the bats. She gave the item a small toss up into the air with a lazy spin to it, catching it by the handle as it fell back down. Yasu held the bat out to Drake next, eyeing the man mischievously.
"Wanna show me how an American plays an American sport, big guy?"

She was right about not having steered him wrong so far, and with how easily everything went so far it would be an easy experience going forward. Being back in his human form, he was curious about one thing, but it was probably unimportant at this point. When they were back on the ground level she immediately went to his side and wrapped around his arm, giving it a squeeze in the process.
“Nah, I don't find it annoying, you can hang onto me as long as you want,” he gave a wink to her grin and chuckle. He wasn't sure how having a beautiful woman wrapped around his arm was supposed to be annoying in the first place, so he wanted to shoot that down. He enjoyed it and if she was the one initiating it, then there was no problem from him. He would leave the choice to her.
As they walked and she pointed out the different areas, he made sure to memorize them, they could come in handy in the future. Karaoke, bars, and night clubs the trifecta for most people in the night life, could make for an interesting time. It would be fun to go to one of those with her at a later point, but for now they had a location in mind.
Arriving at the batting cages, she took care of the arrangements for them, before they moved to their own area. It had been a while since high school and the whole baseball thing, so this was going to probably be a horribly embarrassing event for him. As the bat was handed to him, he took his jacket off and chuckled at the words, “Well, I was always more of a contact sport guy myself, but we'll see how it goes.”
Putting the information in for a standard pitch as far as he knew it to be, he took his spot and readied his stance. Which was close to the proper stance but a little off, so when the first pitch came and he swung, it was a powerful whiff. Which was a bit disappointing, but he wasn't going to give up until he at least hit one, setting up the second pitch right away. When it was sent down his way, he took the swing again, which managed to clip it but that just sent it spinning to the ground.
Rubbing his head slightly trying to remember what to do when he played it in high school, but that was just a long time ago. At least it felt like it with how badly he was doing here, and with that adjusted his stance a bit more into something strange. Once he was set, the third ball would come flying down the lane, but this time the sound of bat hitting ball resonated sharply throughout the area. Which it didn't get caught in any nets, still counted as a hit as it went rolling across the floor.
“I'll take it,” he laughed, none of the swings being anything amazing, or good in the instance of the first two, but it was something. Turning to Yasuko, he offered the bat to her next, “Since three failed swings is an out, it's your turn to go for it.” He laughed, wanting to see what she could do herself, since between them she was more likely the better player.

When he had told her that she could hang onto him as long as she wanted,' she gave his winking expression a mischievous smirk. She was gonna hold him to that!
At the batting cages she was glad to see that he was willing to take a few swings. Even if he wasn't as into the sport as she was Yasuko was still glad for the effort he'd put in.
"Contact sport? That's what the big stick is for!" she joked as she backed away to the side, eyes alight with excitement.
As Drake took his stance Yasu held her breath in anticipation. The first pitch came and went with a mighty swing of the bat on Drake's part. The woman's smile widened into a grin. The sight had her snickering out her held breath, but then she cupped her hands around her mouth to shout words of encouragement.
"Fight on! Contact! Contact!"
She was being rather rowdy for not being too far away, but Yasuko could care less if her excitement made people in other lanes glance their way. If Drake had hit the baseball square on she was sure he could have sent it flying! In came the second pitch shortly after, and while it didn't go soaring Drake had gotten a little better with his judgement. His swing clipped the projectile and diverted its path to the ground.
"One more time, Drake!" she shouted again with a grin.
As Drake prepped for the next swing she noticed his stance changed a bit, piquing her curiosity. After the third pitch came her date managed to get a solid swing on the ball, emphasized by the sudden distinct ping of the metal bat. Even if it was a ground ball Yasuko was pretty happy with that result.
"That's a hit!" she said with a laugh as she clapped. "You had me a little worried there, but that was good!" Yasuko gladly took the bat from him and gave Drake a reassuring pat on his chest with her free hand. "Don't sweat it, yeah? We can play your sport next time. Contact sounds fun." Again her mischievous smile returned after saying that, but she'd let him interpret things as she moved to get ready for the first pitch.
She eased into her stance and moments later the ball shot out from the far side of the lane. In her eagerness she had chosen a poor spot to stand in, though. Yasu yelped out an incredulous 'Hah?!' as she was forced to step to the side to bring her swing within range of the ball's trajectory. The late adjustment on her part affected her swing, but ultimately she made contact. The metal bat pinged as the baseball went arcing away and up, with more height than any real distance gained. Regardless Yasu laughed about it, shaking her head with a hand on her forehead.
"Maaan! Trying to play it cool and I go and do something like that!" She turned to wag a finger at Drake, playfully pretending to be upset. "Drake! I'm having too much fun and gotten careless! Redo, redo! Don't count that one!"
After she got her chuckles under control she returned to a ready stance, mindful of her positioning now. The pitch came down the lane and Yasu swung to meet it. Again her bat sounded off like a chime as it sent the ball back in the direction it had come from. It veered off to the right and rode the net for a while, but Yasu was still happy with it.
"That's more like it!" she called out with a cheer. "Can I take a few more? I swear I'll hit a home run for you," she said to Drake as she glanced at him with a grin.

With his mentioning of contact sports, she countered with a comment about the bat, and he had to laugh. Baseball would take a whole new interesting turn if the bat was involved in that way, but he wouldn't scoff at the sport now. He enjoyed watching people good at the sport play, he himself was not good at it, and him trying to play was probably the opposite. It also seemed weird that he was only really good at fighting sports, but it seemed that he was just built more for that. Still, he would do his best all the same, anything less would just feel wrong to him.
The cheering was nice as well, it did help him feel a bit easier about the couple of pitches that he scuffed. With a renewed will he took the other swings, but it was still for the most part the same effect, his last one being the only hit. Though it did offer him to chance to return the favor to her earlier, as they switched places her comment on contact causing his own smirk, “I'll look forward to that.” Who wouldn't be excited about that kind of an offer.
Still, with her now taking her place he leaned against the wall in just the right way, so that he could get a look at her rear. Truth be told he was impressed with everything he saw of her already, but the view now just took the cake. Though as the pitch came through he caught her jumping out of the way of the ball, he raised an eyebrow. A chuckle coming from him as she mentioned showing off, “Nah, bad pitch, aiming for the batter is poor form. And I must say, I enjoy the view of Japan's ass.” He chuckled, hoping the joke and tease would help her relax a bit and get the mojo flowing.
Though as she went to try again he would return the favor of cheering, “Woo, come on, you can do it!” To emphasize it more, he put his finger to his lips and let loose a loud whistle for her, trying to get her pumped up. As she hit the next one back, he applauded the hit, it was better than the ones that he had managed for sure. He had the power, but the finesse less so, which was weird cause he had finesse in other areas.
When she asked about getting another hit and getting a home run for him he tapped his chin with a thought. “Okay, if you get a Home Run, then I will offer you one request of whatever you want if you can get it,” he agreed, offering her even more incentive to go for it. Plus it could be interesting just to see how things went with that.

Not for the first time that night, the woman had to wonder how a contact sport session would go between the two of them. Drake's eagerness at the idea had her entertaining a humorous scene in her head to say the least. It only made Yasu all the more fired up for their next date.
When she had messed up on her initial swing she had expected to share a laugh with Drake. The foreigner did chuckle, but what he said Yasu could never have anticipated. She ended up loving his words all the same, enjoying the playful banter and praise. He even cheered and whistled for her, bringing back fond memories of baseball games from high school. There was a real difference in her opinion when you had someone cheering you on versus silence in the background.
His cheering seemed to do the trick in the end, and Yasu managed to get a solid hit on her second swing. The success and Drake's clapping put a smile on her face, but it was the wager he offered that put a Cheshire grin on the woman's lips.
"Whatever I want, huh? Alright, deal," she replied in a sly tone. The woman gave the bat a whimsical twirl with a rotation of her wrist before turning back to the pitching machine. Now that there was something on the line here she was really getting into the mood to swing!
The next pitch was launched, and Yasu was ready to meet it. Her body reacted with a determined step forward, her boot stomping on the floor as her torso rotated with the swing.
"ORAAA!" she shouted with gusto as the bat and baseball made contact. Again the metal bat pinged that heavenly chime as the ball was forced backwards into the air. As the baseball climbed higher into the air Yasu smirked and watched it sail. "Yeah! Keep going, keep going!"
The ball didn't get enough air to touch the high ceiling, but it did hit the far wall well in its upper half. The woman punched a fist straight up into the air as she shouted in triumph. The effort and excitement had her breathing a little heavily but it wouldn't be hard at all to tell that she was having a lot of fun. Turning back to look at Drake she took on a smug pose with the bat resting against her shoulder.
"Hell yeah! I still got it!"
