When Faustein said 'The town is blessed to have a defender like you, Stacy.' she smiled before she replied "I just help when and where I'm needed being one of those hero types with little to no tolerance for bullies. Gaining the ability to digivolve has made it easier to help those in need but it has come with its own troubles as, like you, I happen to find my way into lots of trouble."
"The grass is always greener on the other side of the pasture are wise words but I don't think my life was all that bad growing up. We struggled sometimes but made it well enough money wise thanks to my mom being good with money and teaching me how to budget since I was young. That was good since my father couldn't budget to save his life." Stacy said with a smile but she wondered if her own father felt threatened by her since despite her learning disability she was intelligent and able to adapt once she learned something even if it took a little longer than some folks.
"Yes there is something to be said for the advantages of this situation as it allowed the both of us to be ourselves without worrying about being awkward towards each other since we have been through a lot." Stacy said. They had been through various adventures in the Digital World together and she had definitely came to respect him for his intelligence even though his eccentricities could be a bit much for some to handle but after watching a bunch of anime growing up an odd friend wasn't so off putting to her.
"Don't worry about giving me a ride back. I can get back just fine since I traveled here on my own." Stacy said. After he bowed one last time he took her hand and kissed the back of it. Though surprised she wasn't put off at the gesture. When his car drove away she looked into a nearby alley alert for potential danger before entering it finding it empty. She then digivolved to Hinookamimon before bolting off into the night heading home herself.
