Seifer felt some uncertainty here. Sure, this lone Strabimon seemed just as she was—alone, yet he felt like there were more people present that were doing their utmost best to remain hidden. It was only on the declaration that she’d work with them alongside her pack that suspicions were confirmed- Wait. Pack?
The Hackmon’s ears flicked. “Well, you don’t have to trust us specifically, just…we’re trying to help the people trapped in there is the simplest way to put such a complex situation.” Those were his final words before a swarm of canines just emerged from the bushes. One by one, each with their own thing to say. “Nope. I’m a dragon. Hard dogs. She’s fine, don’t worry.” He’d tell Ettie and Princess. If that was one way to go about simplifying things…On the subject of a particular Gaomon, though? "Gee, haven’t heard that before or anything.”
As menacing as Ruffian had attempted to sound? Seifer had been on the job before. He could take shittalking from some jackass on the internet that got dogged on by a Keramon, he could definitely not be fazed by one spicy Gaomon. “Come on, the others are right this way—they’re friendly too.” If that was that, Seifer’d try leading them over to the rest of the group. With every single member of the Riot Squad present doing a double take at Seifer just…showing up with a Xros army behind him. “Whatcha got there, buddy?” “Found dogs. They’re willing to help. Thank me later.”
At least Yuuki had seemed to see them. He also came up with a pretty solid plan—Hiro would pretend to be the partner of this strange solo variant of a Xros Army in order to mask the limits of their power. Coal would be on stealth to try neutralizing the swathe of rookies…It’d be a better plan if Hiro wasn’t flipping out, though. Probably! Machine looked at Hiro. “Simply put, the public’s definitely better off not knowing about a bunch of creatures that can, in theory, probably evolve to the point where they’re as tall as Godzilla. That’s the big reason as to why this isn’t…you know. Public.” He took a brief pause, though.
“…I can see how it can feel like one of those shows, though.”
“And yes, rookies do hold the potential to severely maim a human. Which is why so many of…whatever that one is is definitely not a good thing. Especially with how hyperactive they seemed, last time I checked.” Seifer stated towards Coal. If one were to check the laptop feed, they’d note some idle conversation. Whether they listened was on each of the players in this weird little game.
“…They are. They’re made of stone. That said, it should be easy to just…sneak by while the negotiating party has people’s attention. I’d say follow behind us or find a side entrance. Or an exit. There’s definitely bound to be one…” Seifer mused, before he’d gesture to a riot officer. …Who was poring over a diagram of the ground floor scheme. It seemed labelled too, detailing where each of the bogies as it were were at. As well as the hostages. “I think at worst they’ll extrapolate on what they want. But it’s still worth at least trying to negotiate. So, anything else? Or are we settled on a plan of action?” Machine glanced around.
Well?

A dragon is a... Hard dog? Ettie would pause for a second, visibly puzzled as she tilted her head one way, and then the other, whilst mulling over Seifer's words. She was still being lifted up by Princess as she went into thought - and was technically aware of this - but didn't seem to even really care that she was still being carried! "... So... Dragons are kinda like us, then!" She'd soon conclude, her tail wagging as cheerily as ever.
Princess would give Ettie a sleepy glance, before sighing, and setting the Strabimon down. "... Don't think it works like that." Is all that she'd say, before letting out a long yawn.
Ruffian, though, would meanwhile sneer at Seifer - despite the difference in their sizes, he was still as overconfident as ever - remarking "Yeah, I fucking wonder why." with a roll of his eyes...
.... At least, until Anne would give him a light bonk upside the head, stating "Knock that off."
Ruffian would cast a glare in the taller Strabimon's direction, rubbing the spot he had been bonked, but otherwise huffed. "... Whatever." He eventually grumbled, rolling his eyes. "Let's just get this over with."
Longer they stuck around DATS, the bigger risk of them getting snatched up, in his opinion.
As they were led to the rest of the group though, Duchess and Ettie both were more than happy to mingle with all of these new people! "Hi! Hi! Hi!" Duchess would yap at the other humans in greeting, her tail wagging as she grinned excitedly, practically bouncing in place as though to burn off the boundless energy she had built up inside of her. Her fur sparked with static - harmless, but still a clear sign of how raring she was to go.
In fact, she was so raring to go, that her eyes would soon set on Coal - and bouncing up to the nervous Renamon, she'd ask "Hey, hey - do you wanna play? I wanna play tag while everyone talks about that planstuff - I'm not good with planstuff, but I'm good with playing and going fast!"
Ettie, though, would focus more on Yuuki and Hikaru; smiling brightly. "It's nice to meet you two!" She'd chirp, as the two introduced themselves. "I'm Ettie, and this is my sister, Anne! And our pack there is Duchess, Princess, and Ruffian!" That Dorumon - Hikaru - kind of looked like a canine, like Seifer did! And Seifer did say that dragons were hard doggos, so... Did that make Hikaru a hard doggo? He kinda looked soft, honestly!
Anne quietly nodded in greeting, meanwhile - curious as to what plan the Dorumon-Human duo had...
Meanwhile though, Princess and Ruffian both would be glancing over to Hiro - which, the poor man appeared to be losing his composure by the minute with strange occurence after strange occurence. "Tch. How's he gonna help when he looks half-ready to snap under the pressure on the spot...?" Ruffian would mutter to himself - rolling his eyes in clear disapproval at the detective.
The Offmon, meanwhile, seemed to see something in Hiro that she liked - stepping up to him, and giving him a gentle pat where she was able to reach. "Mm... Do you need a nap, too?" She'd mumble in question, tilting her head as she gazed up at him. "I think I..." A pause to yawn. "... Nnneed a nap, too. But not right now. My nap can wait til... afterwwwaardsss...." ...
... Oh dear. It looked like Princess conked out mid-word, leaning against Hiro's leg/side. How was the detective going to react to this?
At the mention of Hikaru's and Yuuki's plan though, Anne and Ettie would nod along - Ruffian joining the duo in listening in, as he lost interest in Hiro. Them following after that Hiro fellow seemed like a good idea, in Ettie's opinion - he seemed kind of nervous, and she could smell a hint of anxiety on him from here, so maybe having a pack at his back will help reassure him! But, something caught her attention - prompting the young wolfgirl to tilt her head. "... Xros?" She'd ask. "What does that mean?"
Neither she, nor Anne, really knew or understood what a xros army was.
"Isn't it those... weirdass groups, where it's a bunch of digimon mashing together instead of digivolving on their own?" Ruffian questioned, raising an eyebrow. "Can't say I've ever seen one, unless that Pulsemon-mania over there is a xros deal..."
Going back on track though, Anne would nod to Yuuki and Hikaru, stating "Ettie had been hoping that we could... Befriend the digimon, to better understand why they were here or doing this."
"Yeah! If we can play with them, we could become friends, and maybe even convince them to let everyone go!" Ettie added! That, or maybe keep their attention away from the humans so that they could run away - but she was also just genuine in wanting to befriend them!
"Having numbers like this feels... Safer, though, instead of us doing our original plan." The Strabimon concluded. Even if she didn't know these people - a notion that did, admittedly, have her hackles rising just the barest bit - it seemed they all had a common goal, so... Perhaps this would work out?
"I only hope Human Foureyes over there doesn't lose his nerve and bolt or pass out, or someshit." Ruffian snarked, glancing in the detective's direction, ".... Shit. Looks like Princess dozed off again."
Though Ettie, her tail wagging, would smile. "It'll be fine!" She'd reassure the Gaomon - adding "If we all stick together, there's nothing to be afraid of! A pack looks out for each other, after all!" And she was more than happy to regard Hiro like an honorary packmate; he seemed pretty nice!

Well, that's two Strabimons, a Gaomon, a Gazimon and an Offmon... interesting group. Hikaru smiled kindly at the group, the usual fatherly way he does toward younger Digimons around his kids' age. "Nice to meet you and your entourages! How do you do? The name is Hikaru. Just your ordinary king from a land on the north."
"Which part of that is ordinary....?" Yuuki unable to help but to retort.
"Well I dunno if they knew what a king is, but etiher way, these little ones gave such a positive vibes and it's kind of infectious!"
"...They're indeed a little bit all over the places..." Yuuki mused. Admittedly thanks to Princess' antics and Ettie's cheerfulness, he had temporarily forgotten about his own worries. He can't help but to let out a soft "aw" as Princess conked out. Though he quickly coughed and helped Machine and Seifer with the explanation.
"There's also a problem about how if it this became public, then most likely Japan will be in trouble, political stuff, yada yada... Basically on top of sanction and all other stuff, we're afraid that opening this sort of can of worm have... very harsh reprecussion. And it's better if we keep this secret for another reason honestly..." Yuuki answered. "...basically, whoever is spearheading defense against Digimons will be in great advantage if the world came to find out that monster from other side of the world threatened human world safety and caused mayhem. In that, they'll be more active and allows themselves to use force more readily, even toward ones who just happened to accidentally took wrong turn and lost. From their on their political career going to soar, and most likely there will be some... unsavory things happened behind the scene. That's the reason why we can't let this scene turn sour at all."
As when the Detective asked about his Nephew... Yuuki let out a nervous laugh and looked to the side. "...I don't know him personally, only professionally as someone who's in the same field, but... he does have quite the degree of fame... so I guess you better believe it... heh."
Befriend the Pulsemons?
"...By all means!" he suddenly declared. "Actually that would be the best. If possible if we could somehow stop any damages from spreading and deal this with minimum amount of force, the influence growth of whoever on the top won't be as great. Afterward we can just go home and get a well deserved rest!"
"I really hope that they can be reasoned with... last time it was hard..." Hikaru mused. "But yes, if anyone have any sort of objection, please do tell us. Miss Coal, if you have that sort of spell then I think we can work out just fine. I have several light based attack myself, and after all the darkness it would definitely help to stun them if something very bright hit them on the eyes. Anyway, that's all I'll say at this point."

Something didn't necessarily sit with with Hiro in this situation. On the one hand, Machine had a point. The general public wasn't exactly ready to just...accept the existence of otherworldly creatures with strange and incredible powers. On the other this was just waiting for a powder keg to go off at any moment. This enforced ignorance may keep things relatively peaceful now, but what about when things boil over to a point where it's simply not possible to conceal the truth? The public's opinions will be painted by negative experiences such as this hostage situation. Even he was struggling to come to terms with this and he was having a friendly conversation with one of these Digimon.
This Digimon, Coal, referred to him politely and seemed optimistic and friendly. Some may consider it a potential elaborate ruse, but Hiro wasn't the sort to give in to such cynical thoughts. "Well...as freaked out as I am about this whole situation it's nice to know you're on the good guys' side." He said to her.
He scratched the back of his head to Machine "I respect your thought process, buuuut..." He sighed as he tried to think of how to explain this "Let me put it this way. Situations like this just don't...happen out of the blue without some kind of reason. They want something, and they're calling out your organization explicitly. Something happened between your crew and these Digimon creatures to the point of animosity to this degree. I'm still going to help you defuse the situation because I'd be a crappy detective if I didn't, but I'd also be a crappy detective if I didn't point this sort of thing out. I mean no offense...but you may want to think about what I said. In any case negotiations are an absolute must. Going in guns blazing will just lead to unnecessary harm. With our approach we may be able to arrange something or at the very least buy us some time."
Hiro did a double take as the little Offmon spoke to him in that tired, drowsy voice. He glanced around at the rest of the pack "Oh...there's more. Amazing." He muttered under his breath. The more this went on, the less he felt threatened by the average Digimon. A wild animal could tear a human apart...but to call Digimon 'wild animals' would be an insult. They could speak, they have personalities. Coal's friendliness, Ruffian's dismissive and rude outlook, Princess' sleepy nature. He couldn't help but be endeared immediately, and he even visibly lit up at Princess' adorable behavior. "Are you...uh..." He kneeled down to Princess "Are you here to help? You shouldn't push yourself if you're too tired for that, you know..." He said, concerned.
He was starting to calm down, but he was still overwhelmed by all of this. He shook his head and crossed his arms a bit "Hm. Defense, you say...but what are we teaching everyone by spreading the message they're something solely to be defended against? That could lead to a lot of misunderstandings and issues in the future, but...I'm an outsider looking in. I don't think I necessarily have the right to comment."
"Though...the idea of reasoning and even befriending some of the Digimon in there...it sounds ridiculous but I have a feeling it could work. Approaching them, offering peace, getting them complacent...that could aid in the negotiations or at the very least lessen the danger in some way."
He adjusted his tie and took a deep breath "Forgive my nerves. I should be more...professional than this. And if my opinions are unwanted just let me know. It's just my intuition. It tends to speak out of turn if you haven't noticed."

Hearing that rookies could severely maim humans meant to coal that fighting around the hostages at any level was a no go. She’d lean to look at the laptop; a frown on her face made it seem like she wasn’t exactly too happy at hearing that. Maybe they could quietly get the humans out without the others noticing? She doubted that.
”So much could go wrong… Sneaking after? I guess yeah. Man I wish amber was here she’d know how to handle this with her training… figures the one with more combat training ends up being the one that needs to sneak…”
The irony of all of this wasn’t lost on coal and she’d sigh a little bit; shaking her head slowly. But the idea of sneaking in from a side entry? The renamon nodded her head and turned to glance at the rest of the ‘party’.
There was quite an assortment really; and all of them were the sort that she wasn’t sure how to work with at the immediate moment. Then came the excited moment of Duchess who would quickly ask and bounce up to her if she wanted to play rather than plan! The renamon-x stammered a little bit and found herself taking a few steps back. She wasn’t really good when the focus was on her like this.
”S-s-sorry I… I don’t think it’s a good idea to expend too much energy before… working on this uhm.. Ma-maybe after?”
Coal gulped al little bit and glanced at yuuki as they went out and about this. Hearing that tit would be best if the pups played or befriended the pulsemons made sense. She had somewhat nervous rock in her throat so to speak. The least amount of force needed?
”Y-yeah… It’s not… really strong but it does persist. It also takes a uh… little bit to charge so don’t bank on it immediately please…”
It was a small area at least that’s what she thought. Not knowing that ninety feet was an incredible size for a rookie to manage. Especially when it was a radius! The renamon-x shifted a little bit and ran her hands over her face in an effort to calm herself. She really wasn’t good when her bubble was broken suddenly like that.
Coal wasn’t sure what to say to Hiro but… he seemed to have the right of everything so all the renamon-x could do was… well assist him if he needed it. Exhaling through her hands the renamon-x flicked her ears a few times.
”I’ll find a side exit while you talk to them and try to distract them. If things go south I can at least keep it to where the humans won’t get hurt uhm… Well by making it really really dark. Like pitch black dark.”
The renamon-x smoothed her fur down and for a moment thought of that candle she practiced on when she was first trying out her powers. It was a good way of handling stress and she could feel her core’s thumping start to ease out.
”I might be able to carry two at a time if they don’t wiggle too much too… Three if I use my shadows...”

Homeostasis, that Gaomon was really insistent on being a piece of...Bah. Forget it. As much as Seifer wanted to give a rat's ass, there had been bigger fish to fry. Besides that, it looked as if they had swelled in numbers to Machine. Which put him at a bit more ease. Which made talking to Hiro a little less nervewracking even if it wasn't quite visible. "I know that. I'm well aware of that. It's on the higherups if they want to do anything on that, I'm here to solve whatever kind of mess gets started by Digimon so that it doesn't spill over and get more innocent people hurt."
There was a notable pause in Machine's words as Yuuki answered, as a small sort of...realization seemed to hit the man. They had a point here, didn't they.
DATS, that was.
Every time Digimon had come together to do something like this, it jeopardized how they would be viewed, gave justification for worse. It felt a little sickening to Machine...And yet Seifer felt nothing. But, there was something that came up regarding befriending the Pulsemon. The Hackmon tilted his head towards the Pack and Hikaru. "Thank you for the suggestion. Viable, maybe. But are you sure they might be receptive to that? They look a little hyperactive." He gestured towards the feed. Sure enough, the Pulsemon were running around with nary a care in the world, with Wisemon still staring towards one of the cameras.
"I know you're watching. I only wonder when you'll elect to act and stop the villain of this story."
Could they talk back? No. But the Wisemon spoke with a certainty that they heard.
"I think that might be a good cue for you guys to get in there. Good luck, everyone." The laptop squaddie gave a thumbs up to everyone present. "We'll be here keeping an eye on things. Promise."
With everything hopefully squared away, the group would set off into the station proper. The scene within was that of a disheveled, nearly-abandoned subway if anyone could really visualize that. Except it was anything but. The area after the entrance had Digimon and humans alike lurking there, yet the humans were restrained via green wisps of code against the wall. Underneath a mural. Wisemon simply floated a few feet in the air, arms crossed, while the two Strabimon stood upright.
As the group entered, one of the Pulsemon noticed immediately, clapping their hands! "Wisemon! They're here! They're here, just like you said!"
"I hate their voices already." Seifer grumbled. "Hey, robes, we've come to bargain."
"So I have assumed. I will be blunt with my terms. In exchange for the lives of these humans, I simply wish for admittance."
Machine was silent, hands folded behind his back. Before he finally asked. "Admittance of?"
"Everything your superiors have done to us. Everything they plan to do to us. I know you're merely one puppet of three. And I do pity the ones you have here. ...Enough to match myself and my friends, it seems." ...It was fortunate for them that they were missing one--Coal would hopefully have found that side entrance and gotten in by now.
The enemy did not know their exact numbers. Machine had fallen silent, so it was the group's turn to act. What would they do? The terms were...a strange mix of vague and preposterous. In any case, the time to get into position to spirit some of the humans away was growing ever closer...

Awww; it was a shame that Coal couldn't play right now - disappointment clear in the way her ears and tail drooped. Duchess would be able to note that the poor Renamon-X was quite shy, though; so she couldn't really blame her. "Aww... Alright, that's okay!" She'd respond, nodding understandingly to the taller canid. "Let's play after, then; we can all play together as a pack, that way!" With that, Duchess was content to move on - her tail beginning to wag once more, as she went over to Hiro and Princess!
Which, speaking of the Offmon in question, well... Hiro's questions would be met with a gentle snore - it seemed that Princess was already plenty content to just doze off right there, leaned up against the detective! Duchess couldn't help but regard this with a happy little giggle - her tail wagging harder in amusement. "Don't mind Princess - my sister's always at least a little sleepy!" She'd chirp, before going to the Offmon and gently nudging her awake. "C'mon, let's not sleep against the nice human; you can sleep against me until it's time to move, though!"
In response, Princess would begin to stirr and rub her eyes with an unintelligible mumble - blinking blearily up at Hiro, and then at her sibling - before quietly nodding in response to the electric Gazimon's words. She'd slowly lean the opposite direction - into Duchess - before shutting her eyes closed once more. "Mmm... Sleepy..."
With the question of befriending the digimon though - namely the Pulsemons and perhaps the Strabimons - it seemed that Hiro, Yuuki, and Hikaru would support the idea; although Machine was a bit unsure if it might work, given the hyperactivity. Ettie, however, didn't see that as a point against - that was just a point for! "We can play with them, if they're hyperactive, then!" Ettie chirped with a happy giggle, her tail wagging. "Playing with others is a good way to make friends!"
However, this is when Wisemon would speak ot the camera - to which the pups would blink a bit, Anne in particular feeling a sense of unease over such. "That was... slightly unsettling."
"If he starts reaching through the screen or someshit, I'm going to start punching." Ruffian would say simply, voicing his own discomfort over Wisemon's shenanigans.
But nonetheless, this meant that it was time to move - and with Ettie's call, "C'mon, everyone! Let's follow the nice Hiro-Human!" She'd mention, making a point to rub her cheek against Hiro's side as they began to move. Anne, too, would do the same on the opposite side - prompting a puzzled glance from a certain Gaomon.
"What the heck are you doing?" Ruffian questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"We're making sure he smells like us, and that we smell like him!" Ettie mentioned. "If we're pretending to all be his packmates, it'd be weird if we didn't actually smell like we're his packmates!"
This prompted Duchess to perk up, once she managed to get Princess awake and moving. "Oh, that's a good idea!" She'd chirp, smiling and reaching up to take Hiro's hand - placing it on her head. "Petting's a good way to share scents, right?"
... Oh dear. Hiro's gonna have a heck of a time with the pups, until they properly reach the hostage scene...!
Once they entered the subway proper though, it didn't take long to find the group of digimon and hostages - the pack staying close to Hiro's side, as they moved. Ears were perked, noses were sniffing the air... They could certainly smell the digimon and humans, as they approached - and as Wisemon, Seifer, and Machine all spoke amongst one another, the pack would listen in; though...
... Their gaze would be more on the Pulsemon and Strabimon group, Ettie's tail wagging in a friendly fashion, as she went into a play bow! "Hello!" She'd bark to the beast digimon, smiling brightly and happily. "Do you all wanna be friends? Maybe even play with our pack, while the others talk boring adultstuffs? We can go play something like tag, or hide and seek!"
"Yeah! Let's play!" Duchess added, going into a playbow of her own as well!
(All the whilst though, Anne couldn't help but wonder - what did Wisemon mean, about admittance? Puppets...?)

"Who knows," Yuuki shrugged. "I'm not sure if it's wise, but it's sure worth a try. I'm not the wise guy, it's that guy with robe over there." It was a frail attempt at making a joke to mask his own depression, but at the very least he was pretty much distracted by how hyperactive are the pack... Speaking of the pack, he honestly felt a twinge of jealousy toward Hiro who gets to have all those fluffies around him....
...So he did the most sense of them all. He lifted Hikaru and hold him close.
"Eh??" the king is of course bewildered, but did not say anything much when Yuuki start rubbing his face on the Dorumon's fur. Normally he'd protest and say that Yuuki is messing with his well groomed fur, but it's much better than the guy being depresso. At the very least... he could function. Yeah, for both of them? This is for the best.
Man the situation is weird. In one side the pack already start doing what they're good at, befriending the Pulsemons, or at least attempting to. Yuuki and Hikaru meanwhile started to let Machine do the talk first, but it looks like it's better if they handle the talk.
"Well then excuse me to speak out of turn. My name is Itou Yuuki, my name probably doesn't mean much, but I'd like to ask you several things...I agree that in the past DATS have done quite a lot of unspokable things... but at the same time, the current DATS is different iteration from the old DATS. Surely you know that. In that case, what does admittance means to you? What's your goal in asking for it?"
"Second," this time Hikaru speaks "I'm sure you're aware, but admittance in real world would means nothing "We're sorry that we caused interworld crisis"... that... perhaps will be treated like a massive joke in real world, and politician will most likely immediately dismised it as if the organization members are high or drunk. If it's done in Digital World, are you not sure that this will cause an even bigger conflict?
Hate is a virus, and that virus called hate spreads so fast that it will become outrage. it pulls even those who had no direct relation to the event. They wanted to join in the moment because it feels right. With this risk, I'm not even sure that admittance is in any side helpful. If anything it would seem more to cause further chaos...
So if we were to say "we'd like you to consider something else", what would you like then?"

Hiro adjusted his tie and took a deep breath. "Okay. I'm really doing this. I'm about to negotiate with actual, living breathing monsters from another dimension. How life throws curveballs at you sometimes." He muttered as he looked down at the sleepy dog creatures that had accompanied him for whatever reason. "Huh...well I guess if some of them are as nice as all of you then maybe things won't be so bad. Maybe."
He adjusted his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose slightly at Wisemon's appearance. "Well...this guy's pretty intimidating isn't he? Let's...be careful not to step on their toes. What the, hey!" He said as he was suddenly being surrounded by the Digimon dogs. Two of them nuzzled into his sides while another brought his hand to pet the top of her head. He felt himself blush a tad given being surrounded by fluffy animal-like creatures, though he'd be lying if he said it wasn't endearing. "At least give me enough space to walk, alright? Easy does it." He chuckled as they walked together to the mission site.
Once the dog pack broke off to play with the Pulsemon, Hiro smoothed out his suit and adjusted his tie once more "Right then, to business, ladies and gentlemen." He said as he crossed his arms and listened to the current situation. He listened to Yuuki speak, and was impressed by the points he had made. An new organization built on the ashes of an old one? It wasn't the first or last time something like that would happen. Hiro couldn't help but feel an uneasiness in the air, but at the same time he felt like he was being watched over by something other than those currently with him.
"Alright." Hiro spoke up. "Detective Hiro Akiyama, at your service." He introduced himself. "Now, it's clear there's some bad blood between you all, and that the old version of this...DATS...clearly did something wrong. Very wrong, to earn anger of this scale. It's going to take more than admittance to really clean this whole deal up. However, that being said." He turned his attention to the Wisemon and gestured to his hostages "This? This isn't how you get any points from anyone. I get you probably feel there wasn't any other choice, or you were forced into a corner in this situation...but if any progress is going to be made, a line needs to be drawn. No aggression from either party once this blows over. Got it? We can talk, and let you guys air out your grievances with one another, but we need your word these people will be freed. Anything unethical and unjust needs to be thrown out the window here. We can treat each other as equals here."
"Now, what do other...Digimon...have to say about all this? Your hostile actions here and the methods you're taking. I think it's safe to say you don't speak for all Digimon the same as we don't speak for all humans, that's just the nature of things. You want what's best for your people, and I can respect that, but being well-intentioned doesn't necessarily mean this is justified...these people you've taken have done nothing wrong and don't deserve your ire."

”...that sounds fun. Just lets focus on the job at hand I guess?”
Coal didn’t really have much more to say to the group overall and would give a small wave as she headed off. With the others not knowing their numbers you could say that this was a blessing. But couldn’t the same be said of the enemy? Were they completely sure this was all of them? That little bit of nagging in the back of her mind hardened her facial expression as found the side door.
It was one of those plain steel service doors right? The one that she was supposed to take? The renamon bit the inside of her lip and looked around for a moment. There wasn’t a handle on the outside of the door but that wouldn’t be a problem. Using her shadow technique she’d create two arms. One for bar and the other to find what would set off the alarm if it opened up. The latter of which when found she’d break the connection to the power grid and the former she’d simply push the door towards her.
She had been to the train stations that led to terminus before and they were fairly newer. So they had the same design; if not being a little more sturdy. Huffing to herself the renamon would peek inside; looking around and focusing on moving into position. Keeping herself low and in the shadows.
At this point she’d unhook her goggles and keep her head on a swivel. It’d likely take her a little bit of time to find a good vantage point and with her goggles being off the renamon-x would be able to see if there were any digimon around. She just hoped that they weren’t higher level than her at the moment given that she wasn’t sure if her eyes could spot a higher level digimon using invisibility or some other technique.
The best way for her to do this was to get ‘above’ the group but she doubted she’d be able to do that without making much noise so she’d have to keep at level. She’d want to try to get behind where they were keeping the humans and she’d also want to get into a good position to turn this place into a dark mess.
She’d have to use channel darkness when the time came, she just hoped that she would be in a good spot for it… that and she wasn’t really sure what sort of abilities these mons had. Or if this would affect the wisemon. Higher level digimon were always such a pain to deal with if they weren’t ‘good guys’.
Move: Shadow Dance: Coal can control and manipulate shadows, forming blades and weapons out of them in such a way. Tendrils are her most common use and she can use these shadows to attack anyone within a 50 foot range of herself. Deals high damage. Requires simple gesture or movement to execute. Her own shadow is often more than not the source of this attack.

I'm sorry it's come to this, but we're going to have to abandon this plot. Thank you all for doing your best.
Since Group C lasted roughly 8 rounds, everyone in this thread gets 8,000 bits as compensation.
