While in his rookie stage Smoke is an avid climber as well as digger. This is due in part to being a subspecies of Kunemon. Smoke is also capable of shooting and spinning thread for a variety of uses including attack, defense, and even nesting. His threads are both poisonous as well as charged with an electrical current. As he digivolves so too do his skills in relation to the form he takes.
(S)Dokunemon is immune to most toxins found in the digital world due in part to the fact that he can and will eat the leaves from even the most poisonous of plants.

Personality:
(S)Dokunemon's general personality is harmless as being a simple larva Digimon they do not come off as much of a threat. This is not to say the species cannot be dangerous. When feeling threatened they are capable of rapid firing poisonous thread to entangle the aggressor before vanishing in a puff of smoke.
Smoke does enjoy feasting on local foliage and when he is not talking to someone or firing off his threads he can commonly be found chomping on some form of leaf or shrubbery. This has gotten him into trouble many a time with less than pleased plant digimon. Because of this he has grown tough but also weary at the intent of others. Humans are a new and strange creature that Smoke feels cannot be trusted. They are unnatural and do not belong in their world. It does not help his opinion of Humans when they carry around small devices that seem to be able to control other digimon turning them into slaves. Smoke avoids humans when he can but less than friendly interactions are bound to take place.

Smoke started his digital life within the confinds of a Digi-Tama located within the Village of Beginnings. The village itself hidden deep within the Eastern Timberlands. It was here that he was cared for under the watchful eye of Cherrymon. Smoke could sense everything going on outside his protective shell and enjoyed the times he was picked up and rocked by Cherrymon personally. Though these times were few and far between they continued to be a welcome event until the day he finally hatched into Leafmon.
Now freshly hatched from his Digi-Tama as a Leafmon, Smoke was more active and no longer had to wait for Cherrymon to seek him out. Instead he could do the seeking and seek he did. Smoke was fascinated by all the other freshly hatched digimon and would play games with them such as bubble-tag or hide and seek. Smoke would still occasionally seek out Cherrymon along with many other digimon who like Smoke tried to via for the caretaker's attention. Smoke spent most of his days playing with the other digimon within the village and watching visiters come and go. As the days passed Smoke watched as his friends all Digivolved and left the village for the great unknown of the Digital World. Smoke wanted to know what was out there and why he himself had not digivolved yet.
One day he brought his concerns to Cherrymon who could only reply with "You are growing at your own rate. One that is right for you. Do not force something you may not be ready for." Smoke did not really care for this answer and didn't know Cherrymon only had his best interest in mind. As it was, Smoke could not wait any longer and snuck out of the village on his own. At first this seemed like a mistake as he had lived a life of comfort and protection. Out here it was run or be eatten. The first few nights were spent hiding and running from less than friendly wild digimon.
One day Smoke felt a surge of energy building inside him and the pressure of it wanting to escape. Suddenly he felt a shift in his data core as he instantly digivolved from Leafmon into the slightly larger Minomon. Smoke was happy to have finally digivolved to his next stage. He was now able to better defend himself a bit not against higher level champions but some of the weaker class rookie who use to chase him now avoided him.
Minomon spent most of his days now hanging from the trees watching the digimon scurry around below him and watching the skys for predatory flying digimon such as Quwagamon. Day after day passed by like a blur as he only moved to eat or if he was discovered by a predator digimon wanting to make a snack of him.

(S)DoKunemon has a strange texture about its exoskeleton making it appear as if it is a living shadow of sorts.

Upon impact a large explosion occurs sending out an electrical shockwave in all directions. The size of the explosion and shockwave varies depending on how far HerculesKabuterimon fell before impact. The typical range would be between 50 to 100 yards in all directions or about twice the size of a typical Football field. This ability adds an automatic cooldown to all HerculesKabuterimon's other electrical abilities (See: Giga Horn Buster; Mega Electro Shocker; Giga Scissor Claw) of 2-posts or extends any active cooldowns by 2 additional posts.
