"Ehehehehehe!" The Dorimon was giggling almost gleefully as they ran along in the long bounding strides that the Lilymon legs offered them, almost as though they were oblivious to the horde of digimon and humans chasing after them. "La lala la la~" Why should they be worried, anyhow? They were fast, they were powewfuw! It wasn't like any of these digimon would be able to catch them now... ... Right? The group giving chase would find that the Dorimon was swift - swifter than a normally stubby-legged in-training had any right to be - likely due to the Lilymon legs that they now bore. But even beyond that, they just were overall fast! What would it take, to be able to catch them? Well, LJ certainly seemed to have an interesting solution in mind- that is, that he could propel himself along with one of his own attacks! The shout of 'Ow! Ow! Ow!', and the sounds of crunched up foliage, would prompt the Dorimon to slow down just a hair as they looked behind them - only to seem absolutely bewildered, and startled, when the legless Elecmon would begin shooting forward in their direction at surprisingly high speeds! "Yeep!"Being quick to react, they would proceed to scamper out of the way of the mammallian projectile with almost supernatural speeds for but a brief moment, zipping off to the left as they changed courses completely! "Nowpe, nowpe, nowpe! Nowt, towday, swowpowkes!"Would someone be able to cut off the Dorimon, now that they were going at an angle?
- Dorimon uses Maximum Overdrive to avoid being slammed into by LJ, and changes course! Move Used: [ABILITY; RAM] Maximum Overdrive: Only usable when Dorimon has equal to or more than half of their starting sets of legs, they have decided that they need to get right on out of here - proceeding to scamper away at maximum speed, to dodge an incoming attack! [2 Turn Cooldown] Passives Known:[NONCOMBAT PASSIVE] Hewwo: This Dowimon tawks and memes at owthews in a cownstawnt uwu-speak, cowmpwetewy by pewsonaw chowice, and they wefuwse to stowp.
[PASSIVE] Child-sized Plot Armor: This Dorimon doesn't... seem to be hurt by any attacks that are directed at them? At most, when struck by an attack, the little dragonbeast will make a squeaky toy noise and/or be sent flying - while losing a set of legs as per Leg Thief - only to shake it off and continue running, as if they didn't take any damage. Damage over time and mental/emotional effects don't seem to have any effect on them, either - though debuffs that affect their stats and the like otherwise behave normally. What is up with this strange child?
[PASSIVE] Leg Thief: This Dorimon has a multitude of legs, stolen from other digimon! If the original owner digivolves, their stolen legs will digivolve to match as well - and for each set (one pair for bipedal digimon, two pairs for quadrupedal, etc. counts as a single set) of legs Dorimon possesses, they move a little faster!
When struck by an attack, Dorimon will lose a set of legs (max 1 pair lost per round,) which can then be picked up and used by another digimon (who doesn't necessarily have to be the original owner!) Dorimon cannot be truly caught until all of their stolen legs are knocked off and retrieved. If a set of legs are not taken on the round that they are knocked off, the Dorimon will snatch them back up! Cooldowns:Maximum Overdrive - 0/2 [EFFECT] Legless: Hey, V-Sauce, Michael here. Where are your legs? While legless, a digimon - quite understandably - will move much slower on foot; though are still able to move around by other means - such as flying, swimming, or driving (assuming you don’t need your legs to do so!) - normally. This effect can be removed by finding yourself a set of legs (that do not necessarily have to be your own original legs,) though is regained if you lose those legs again for any reason.

"Better than you, shitbrains." Mantis called out towards Dio as he was carried away by Miyako, to great strain and effort. She may have been working out a bit in the world, but she was still, unfortunately, a ten year old. So this was a great task for the world's most terrifying albino. The actual worst part of that angry tirade was that he really didn't have much heed to pay towards everyone else outside of Dio. He said his piece, so he had to work for it.
Especially since that Dorimon was extremely quick. Absurdly so! Like, how does one learn to go so fast...? It was inhuman--which made sense since a good deal of the people afflicted by the legless malady were in fact, furries, not humans.
Mantis did notice the Dorimon moving at an angle, so he would raise his bokken to the sky, a crash of thunder being heard as lightning struck the weapon, and he swung it! "HEY! That's loud, don't do that right next to me!" Miya yelled! "Fuck yeah, I'm Not Kappy." And as he swung, the lightning would discharge and fly at high speeds for the Dorimon!
But, they were probably pretty fast too, so it wouldn't do much alone. It's mostly just to try A) hitting them, and B) keeping them at an angle. Relevant Passive:
Aggressive [Passive]: Despite fighting with a wooden stick, Mantis has a talent with it to make things HURT. He deals 30% more damage then most other Kotemon, and his fighting style's appropriately angy. The legless Mantis is carried forth by Miyako, and promptly puts a loud noise in her ear briefly by using Thunder Flare to try hitting Dorimon.
Thunder Flare: Kotemon raises his bokken to the sky, as lightning strikes his weapon. He then swings it, firing the lightning at an opponent. Three post cooldown. Ignores shields.
Active Cooldowns: Thunder Flare: 0/3

As they ran through the forest, Hana noticed LJ sending himself skidding across the ground, which sounded like it hurt as he overshot the Dorimon. She ran towards the legless Elecmon and held out her arms to him as she said," Are you okay, LJ? That sounded like it hurt. Do you want me to carry you until we get your legs back?"
As Hana made her detour, Rush and Sakura continued following the Dorimon, where they noticed the Kotemon flinging lightning at the leg thief. Calling to the Eosmon, Sakura said, "Rush, I have an idea and I'll need your help to pull it off."
"YOU GOT IT, SISTER. LET'S HEAR IT." Rush replied.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I need you to throw me at Dorimon as hard as you can." Sakura whispered in the Eosmon's ear.
"IF YOU SAY SO." Rush answered hesitantly before he grabbed the Lillymon's arms and started spinning rapidly. At his peak momentum, Rush let go and sent the Lillymon flying right towards the Dorimon. As she flew, Sakura unleashed a Petal Blizzard to turn into a literal tornado of sharp petals heading straight towards the thief. Hana goes over to check on LJ and offer to carry him. Rush yeets Sakura at the Dorimon, and Sakura turns into a 50m wide tornado of razor-sharp flower petals as she flies.
Petal Blizzard: Sakura spins and summons a spiral of cherry blossom petals around her that strike all enemies in a 25m diameter. 3 post cooldown. CD: 0/3

LJ wiggled as he looked Hana in the eye wincing in pain before he said "It hurts alright. Feels like I gave myself the worst case of rugburn of all time. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the fur on my stomach was pulled out from my stupid stunt." When Hana asked if she could carry him, he said "Since I won't be able to keep up easily without my legs you can carry me Hana." Even with his legs LJ would be lighter than Lothar was in his rookie form since LJ lacked the muscle mass of Lothar.
Meanwhile Mantis was attempting to hit the Dorimon with a lightning attack. Rush and Sakura were making an attack of their own as Rush flung the legless Lillymon towards the Dorimon before attacking with her Petal Blizzard which was a tornado of sharp flower petals. Seemed quite excessive force to use on a kid no matter how annoying they were. "Guys I know we need to stop Dorimon but what good will our limbs be to us if they're singed to ashes or carved into pieces?"

The gall on this text to speech bastard! Dio was gonna make sure to have a long and aggravatingly loud conversation with him later, but that would have to wait till they had gotten their limbs back from that little ball of leg stealing chaos. Which was easier said than done, as they didn't seem all too bothered by their recent leg loss to stop. Made sense, they had plenty of them to spare.
And while the lillymon's yeeting strategy was sound (after all it worked for the demon twins already), it was unlikely that Mantis' ensuing thunder would be the one to miss, after all that creature couldn't be faster than lightning...right? Nevertheless Dio (less so out of wanting to help and more not wanting to be caught doing less than a legless meme) would also join in the capture efforts, his fist being encased in ice as a blue chain shot forward for the Dorimon, the imp having to bite his tongue hard to keep himself from screaming something to the effect of "Come hither" or "Get over here."
"Would you please warn me the next time you do that?!" Carlos complained, now having to deal with the increasing cold emanating from his partner as he carried him. Hopefully he wouldn't get a frostbite.
As for Gio? He would try to lunge at the dorimon as well, claws glowing with energy as he swiped for the lillymon pair of legs, hoping to either take them outright or at the very least make the digimon trip.
Dio tries to tie the dorimon down, while Gio tries to trip them with a charged swipe. Carlos continues to improve his cardio skills.
[RAM Upgrade] ChaineD: A more refined version of his bootleg saberk D-Edge skill, Dio summons a frozen ice chain made out of purple energy. It can be extend up to 13ft, latch on to most surfaces with ease and can't be melted. If used against an enemy it will coil itself around them, causing medium damage and rooting anything below armor champion for one post. Three posts cooldown.
Plasmic Release: Gio charges up his claws with volatile plasma, which makes his next punch or slash do increased damage. The plasma can strike a single target for medium damage, but if it misses the plasma will detonate and spread out in a small area in front of Gio, being able to strike up to two targets at once but doing reduced damage.
Cooldowns: Dio: ChaineD (0/3)

With the Dorimon being as swift as they were, it was likely going to take some work to stop the little gremlin in their tracks. They were even taunting the group, for Yggdrasil's sake; but thankfully, a number of the digimon were more than happy to put in that work, it seemed! First up would be Mantis' Thunder Flare; a slashing discharge flying at the little dragonbeast. The sound of the crashing thunder seemed to alert the Dorimon to the coming attack, however - and as they saw it coming, they would proceed to use those long and graceful Lilymon legs to L E A P right on over it! "You'ww have two twy hawdew than that, my nowt-fake!" They'd call to Mantis with a gentle laugh, almost as though they were teasing a friend. Even if Mantis was bad about his 'language', the Dorimon seemed to regard Mantis and Miyako decently positively! Next though, would be Hanako's crew; namely, a certain Sakura being sent flying at the Dorimon, and causing a storm of petals to rush through the forest trees! Caught mid-leap, the Dorimon would be swept up by the petals - sent swirling, swirling, swirling... "Woahwoahwoahwoahwoah----" ... Before being flung into some bushes, with a "Y-YEET!" as another pair of legs would bounce out of the bush; Kotemon legs! As a dizzy looking Dorimon stumbled out of the bushes though - "Evewything is spiiiiiiniiiiiing...~" - the flurry of attacks wasn't done yet. Next would be Dio's ChaineD attack; and though the Dorimon didn't seem completely aware of the attack, their dizzy stumbling about was enough to allow them to avoid Dio's attack, as the chains instead found themselves striking at the pair of legs, and wrapping around them! ... Whoops! Gio, however, had a bit more luck with his Plasmic Release; with the little In-Training's dizzy nature, it was a bit easier to hit them with a more melee range attack! As the claws struck into them though, it seemed that the attack wouldn't actually cut into the Dorimon as claws should, let alone the plasma burn any fur. Instead, the Dorimon would be sent tumbling with a squeaky-toy noise at the impact; bouncing and rolling away in a rather... Unorthodox fashion, given that they were completely sideways now! "Wheeeee~!" They would call as they rolled - the cheerful squeal being muffled whenever the Dorimon's face would smoosh into the grass in the process of this sideways tumble. How would the group react to this?
- Dorimon is able to dodge Thunder Flare by leaping over it, upon being alerted by the sound of thunder! - Next, the gremlin gets caught up in Sakura's Petal Blizzard, and is sent flying into a nearby bush - Mantis' legs being knocked off in the process! - Dorimon dodges Dio's ChaineD - which ends up striking Mantis' legs instead... - ... But gets struck by Gio's Plasmic Release, which sends them bouncing and rolling away sideways! No legs are knocked off, due to Petal Blizzard having already knocked off a pair. "I do not need to try harder. I have tried exactly as much as I needed, and summarily distracted you. The meatheads that go after me will do the rest, as you will likely see in 3..." Nevermind the fact that Miyako was pretty sure that Mantis just violated some law of the universe...
But, Mantis was indeed on to something considering that while the Dorimon was busy jeering at him (was jeering the appropriate term here? It felt more like friendly banter than anything) there were a litany of other attacks to deal with, attacks that sent the Dorimon flying! "...What does yeet mean...?" Miyako found herself asking. "Do not ask. It is a foul term equitable to Black Speech."
"...What?" Mantis did not realize it, but Miyako did not read the Lord of the Rings. Either way they witnessed the Dorimon crash into some bushes, with a beautiful pair of legs that Mantis could recognize immediately bouncing out.
If only because those were his. Seriously, most Digimon legs look exactly the same unless one would want to distinguish them by color.
"Get me over there, I need my precious legs back so we can get out of here."
"What? No, I want to talk to Dorimon more. They seem nice."
"They stole my legs."
"And you called them a dirty little...swear!"
"I'm not apologizing."
While this entire debacle was occurring, Miyako, already starting to get a bit tired from chasing after Dorimon, made a beeline for the Kotemon legs, before she would put her all into winding up...before flinging Mantis straight for them. "What the fuck is this." He stated, in his usual robotic, text-to-speech monotone as he sailed through the air.
...If he was not stopped, he was going to get his damn legs back. Either way, he would land with a thud.
...
"I hated every moment of that." Relevant Passive:
Aggressive [Passive]: Despite fighting with a wooden stick, Mantis has a talent with it to make things HURT. He deals 30% more damage then most other Kotemon, and his fighting style's appropriately angy. GIVE ME MY GODDAMN LEGS BACK.

Sakura would be forced to admit that she hadn't quite thought her plan all the way through. As in, she hadn't thought about how to stop her momentum after she blew away the Dorimon, causing her to keep flying until she hit a tree and toppled to the ground. At least it knocked another pair of stolen legs off of the Dorimon. "Owww."
"I GOT 'EM! I GOT 'EM!" Rush said, as the Eosmon tried to catch the pair of dislodged legs and return them to their owner. However, they ended up being grabbed by the Impmon's chain attack before he could catch them. "...I DON'T GOT 'EM."
Seeing Sakura and the angry Kotemon hit the ground while Dorimon rolled away, Rush decided that one of him probably wasn't enough to handle this.
"OH YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY, YOU LITTLE THIEF! MIRROR REFLECTION!" Rush exclaimed in his monotone voice as he made two copies of himself. The two copies went over to help Sakura ad the Kotemon up off of the ground, while the original chased after the Dorimon to grab the little reascal. Man, was he glad his Armor Ultimate form could move so quickly!
Meanwhile, Hana struggled to keep up as she carried LJ in her arms. Mirror Reflection: Eosmon creates two mirror copies of itself that have little offensive presence and and last 2 posts unless hit (they shatter like glass when struck). 2 post cooldown. Duration: 0/2
Petal Blizzard: 1/3

LJ watched everything going on as Sakura's efforts dislodged a pair of legs from Dorimon but they didn't seem slowed down making the purple Elecmon more frustrated. Sure he was more than willing to forgive and forget if everyone got their legs back but right too angry to think of any form of diplomacy so he just puffed his cheeks showing his visible frustration. Even with everything going on Miyako wanted to talk to Dorimon and even called them nice.
Nice? Did LJ hear her right? Never before did he want to facepalm anymore than now. After closing his eyes and taking some deep calming breaths he managed to calm down enough so he wouldn't take out his frustrations verbally on the albino girl. Opening his brown eyes he then said "How can you consider Dorimon to be nice after what they did to us? In case you haven't noticed they took our legs and refuses to return them without trouble." Good thing he did those breathing exercises first or words he had never heard coming from his parents' mouths might of been heard from his. Seemed Mantis might be a bad influence. Who knows?

While Dio's attempt at stopping the little gremlin proved unsuccesful, Gio's attack proved...a bit too succesful, as it sent the legged digi tubling away like a freshly kicked football.
"Whoops..." He stood in surprise for a moment, before he rushed after them once again. "H-hey! No fair, tag's no fun if only we tag!" He exclaimed, jumping and leaping head first into the ground. While ordinarily that would only lead to a rather embarrasing looking fall, the guilmon's body seemed to melt into the floor, his frame turning from a solid shape into a vaguely amorphous cloud of pitch black smoke which lunged ahead and past the dorimon before reforming once again into a solid flesh and blood (data and code?) blackguilmon form. Provided the little creature didn't change course, he'd firmly stand his ground, claws readied in front of him ready to catch the little ball of chaos. Or at least try to.
As for Dio while his icy chain wouldn't catch his intended target he did catch something as he would soon find out while he reeled it back like a fishing line. It seemed he had caught the legs belonging to the rude bastard that was Mantis. Who seemed understandably adamant about getting them back.
Dio however had a different plan.
"No, I don't think I will. I claim these in the name of the Dark Lord!" He proclaimed with a cackle, waving the two limbs above his head mockingly...only for Carlos to swiftly take them off his hands.
"No you don't." He said matter of factly before throwing them in Miyako's general direction.
"Goddamnit." Well, it was worth a shot wasn't it?
Gio tries to rectify his mistake and warps ahead with to try and play goaly with Dorimon. Dio meanwhile tries to make a monopoly on legs before Carlos' shows his belief in private property and returns Mantis' legs to his rightful owner.
Shade form: Gio turns his body into pure black smoke and disappears, before reappearing again at a desired location within 10 feet of distance. 2 post cooldown.
Cooldowns: Dio: ChaineD (1/3)
Gio: Shade form (0/2)

It was pure chaos, for this brief moment. Mantis was being yote by a 10 year old little girl, Dio was trying to stake his claim on legs that were decidedly not his, whilst Carlos was sure to deny this - taking the legs and throwing them as well over to Miyako and Mantis! All the while, Sakura would be set on a crash course into a tree; and Rush, using his clones, would help up the toppled Lilymon and Kotemon both as his true body was making for the Dorimon - alongside Gio, who was ready to play goalie against the tumbling rascal! The only one who didn't seem to be doing too much was LJ - who was talking to Miyako, rather than actually chasing after the small leg thief. A leg thief who was still rolling along, without a care in the world! "Wheeeeeeeee!" They would continue to squeal in joy, even despite their face occasionally mashing into the grass, muffling their happy little cry. It'd actually be quite adorable, if it weren't for the fact that they still had an abnormal number of legs, and the fact that a number of those legs technically didn't belong to them. Despite this though, Dorimon seemed to want everyone to join in their little game - calling to their pursuers "Evewywone, woww with me! :D!"... ... How in the world did Dorimon make that sound with their mouth? Down't ask qwestions that yow'we not weady fow the answews to! :D
... Oh dear. In any case though, it seemed that Dorimon wouldn't be very aware as to what Dio or Rush were planning, given that the little dragonbeast was more focused on simply rolling along. And so, when they suddenly were scooped up in a pair of BlackGuilmon arms, Dorimon squeaked in surprise - immediately beginning to wiggle in Gio's arms, limbs flailing every which way! As it turned out, it was hard to keep one's grip on a little orb with flailing legs sticking out of them - especially when a certain pair of Eosmon legs would suddenly begin kicking towards Gio, to try and break free of the grip! "Nowpe, nowpe, nowpe!"It's not very likely that Gio would be able to keep a grip for longer than maybe a few seconds - and there was still the question of Rush, well, rushing in Dorimon's direction. However, it did pose a question as to whether these few seconds would still be enough for the group to attempt to knock another pair of limbs free... ... How would the next round play out?
- Dorimon is caught by Gio, but immediately begins flailing and kicking their legs to try and break free! As per 'Leg Thief', it's unlikely that they'll stay caught for very long! In the rat race to attempt getting a leg up over an in-training, everyone was summarily proving that they were unable to get their foot in the door, one way or another. Everyone was seeming to be more focused on trying to land a hit in general than...well, overwhelming Dorimon. But the sheer amount of attacks meant that they couldn't dodge them all.
That was the conclusion Miyako had drawn as Carlos had tossed Mantis' legs towards her, and surprisingly?
The Digital World's most cheerful albino was pretty good with hand-eye coordination for a moment, catching the legs like a cyborg ninja catches his Brazilian rival's sword at a critical moment against a buff senator. "Thank you, sir! You're cool!" She called out towards Carlos! The albino leveled a stare that, if she were decisively inhuman, would likely pierce through one's soul, at LJ. "I can call them nice because unlike you, I stopped and spoke to them for more than 5 seconds and didn't threaten them with violence. But I'm in the wrong, huh? This isn't even actually hurting anyone, plus you probably saw how easily attached the legs are. Think before you speak, and don't patronize me, punkass."
A muffled "Based." could be heard from Mantis' location, as he was helped up to a somewhat seated position by Rush's clone. "...I might have been a touch too hard on you. What even are you, though. I have never seen...this form before."
She then walked over to Mantis and just...shoved the legs on. It somehow worked. "I have been given the power of locomotion once more. This is a sign. A sign that I must continue to be a huge piece of shit and fuck up everything. Join me in my quest to pry off more legs so that we may be free." Mantis said, standing up with triumph. "Except Dio, he can stay in here. Such is the fate of simps."
"I'd roll with you if it were safer to, I'd probably get scratched up a bunch, sorry!" Miyako called out towards Dorimon. Who was. Still rolling? What?
"Hm. I am unable to strike at ranged for the moment..." Mantis mused. "However, I am not a coward™️. I must strike Dorimon down with divine retribution wrought by those who have lost the leg. Except Dio." With that, he would raise his shinai aloft (it's not a bokken, Bass wrote that at 3 am and never changed it) as it sparked with flames! And he'd charge at Dorimon to deliver a (pulled) thwap at them!
...Mostly to dislodge a pair of legs.
Relevant Passives:
Aggressive [Passive]: Despite fighting with a wooden stick, Mantis has a talent with it to make things HURT. He deals 30% more damage then most other Kotemon, and his fighting style's appropriately angy.
Having been given his legs back, Mantis decides to be a little helpful. A little. By going over to thwap the caught Dorimon with Hot Head. This is not going to end well, is it?
Hot Head: Kotemon lights his SHINAI on fire as he attempts to hit someone extremely hard with it. It's pretty snazzy looking. Two post cooldown.
Active Cooldowns: Thunder Flare: 2/3 Hot Head: 0/2

Rush finally managed to catch up with the rolling Dorimon after Gio aught the little gremlin, and began trying to help the BlackGuilmon hold the Dorimon in place with one hand and his wings while trying to grab the pair of legs that were attempting to kick poor Gio (which happened to be his own legs). "ALRIGHT, LITTLE BUDDY. I THINK WE'VE GOTTEN OFF TO A BAD START HERE, SO I'D LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR BEING SO RUDE TO YOU AND TO OFFER YOU A DEAL. IF YOU GIVE MY LILLYMON FRIEND HER LEGS BACK, I'D BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHARE SOME SNACKS WITH YOU. I CAN EVEN TAKE YOU FOR AN AERIAL JOYRIDE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO FLY."
When Mantis came charging towards the dorimon with a flaming shinai, Rush merely turned and glared at the Kotemon before using a Mirror Guard to block the Kotemon's attack. "EXCUSE ME, I'M TRYING TO HAVE A POLITE CONVERSATION HERE."
Rush looked at his clone for an explanation, but it could only offer him a shrug. Meanwhile, the other clone helped Sakura up from where she'd faceplanted after hitting a tree. All the Lillymon could say as she was helped up was, "I hate my life right now." Mirror Reflection Duration: 1/2 Mirror Guard: Eosmon spreads its transparent, panel-shaped wings to protect itself from all attacks for a single turn, and can reflect one attack back at the sender. 5 post cooldown. With the craziness that involved Mantis' legs being dislodged and tossed towards Miyako, Dorimon had made a curious noise sounding like a squeaky toy. He was now calmer but despite being amused it didn't show. Once LJ saw Gio and Rush restraining Dorumon maybe this craziness could wind down.
When Miyako shot him a soul piercing glare and wasn't intimidated remotely by it as she began giving him a talking to. When she was done he locked eyes with a sense of eerie calm that both his fathers had seemed to master at a relatively young age before he said "I know I shouldn't of attacked the kid but I was frightened and angry at being in this predicament. You may think what they did was harmless but since all who had their legs stolen were potentially left vulnerable to attack by less than gentle digimon, the act was far from harmless regardless of how easy the legs can be reattached."
Turning his head to look at the restrained Dorimon, LJ said "Dorimon, I'm sorry I tried to attack you out of anger and fear but can everyone have their legs back. There are other ways to get strong and you don't have to steal body parts."

Gio's victory over his catch was short lived, as it turned out that keeping hold of a digimon with this many legs was hard, and that was before the Dorimon started to actually fight back, using the stolen pair of Eosmon legs to try and kick Gio away. It was surprisingly effective for someone seemingly a level weaker than him.
"Ow, ow, owie, ow...please stop that..." The black dino cried out, struggling to contain the little chaos orb within his grasp, which was proving to be harder with each passing second. He would have tried hitting them, but that had already proven fairly ineffective last time, and besides...it seemed the rest of the group was trying a different, more diplomatic approach to this situation?
Well, except for Mantis who was winding up for a good thwap with his flaming shinai. Gio, unable to keep the Dorimon down any longer, finally let go, lightly pushing them towards the Kotemon while he took a step back, ready to try and catch the Dorimon again in case they were sent flying away again. Key word being try, little critter was proving to be unable to stay put for longer than some seconds at a time...though much to his surprise he would see Rush would stop (or at least try to stop) Mantis from attacking. Even someone as dense like him could tell the entire strategy seemed to be shifting, so he too looked at the Dorimon before speaking after LJ,
"Yeah, they're right! Do you really need all those extra legs? You seem pretty sturdy already, unlike my bro that can't do much with or without his legs!"
"Wow, just wow. Just kick me while I'm down and crippled, why don't ya?" Was all the impmon could say, looking more offended by his brother than anything else that had been said to him today.
As for Carlos, his momentary elation from being considered cool aside (god he was getting old) Carlos turned to give Miyako a shrug. "Huh, you might be onto something, maybe violence wasn't the answer. This time."
