Post by Speed & Psych on Apr 3, 2021 1:08:44 GMT
Digimon Name - Partner #1: Speedramon (Speed)
Default Form: Champion
Gender: Male
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Skills/Talents:
Personality: As the younger half of the so-called "Freak Twins," Speed was always the more bubbly and talkative half of the two. Born with the amazing power of super speed, he trained and honed his abilities just like his brother Psych had trained his. However, Speed more or less uses his power simply for fun. One of his great pastimes is to pull speed-related pranks on people, such as completely painting them and running away in an instant. His sense of humor makes Speed stand out as the flashiest Flamedramon-esque Digimon around. He doesn't only use his power for selfish needs, however; that part is just a small perk for him. In reality, Speed lives for the fight, always feeling like he can use his incredible speed to help others. He's a cocky, arrogant knucklehead who loves fun on the outside, but on the inside he has the makings of a true hero.
Holosuit Appearance

Faceclaim: BLUE EXORCIST • Okumura Rin • Speed
Digimon Name - Partner #2: Psychdramon (Psych)
Default Form: Champion
Gender: Male
Alignment: Lawful Good
Skills/Talents:
Personality: Psych is the older half of the "Freak-Twins," as they had been called so many times by other Digimon. While his brother Speed had gained the abilities of supersonic speed, Psych had gained psychic abilities such as telepathy and telekinesis. He trained night and day trying to control and master his power, with varying results. While small objects are no problem for him to move, the bigger and heavier the object is the more effort and will he has to put into lifting said object. This level of focus and concentration has made Psych the more logical and somewhat bitter half of the Freak Twins. He does not appreciate being lied to at all for any reason, and he'll know if you are lying since he can also read minds. One day he hopes to find a way to nullify, if not take away, his power, so that he can finally live a life of quiet and serenity.

Faceclaim: FAIRY TAIL • Gray Fullbuster • Psych
Personal History for Both Twins: No one is quite sure how these twins ended up the way they did.
Back when they were in the Village of Beginnings, the two were birthed from the same DigiEgg and spent most of their life together. Once they each showed signs of their abilites - Speed going faster than most Digimon and Psych with his psychic abilities - that's when they were each the target of bullying and harassment from their fellow in-training Digimon. Speed got the worst of it all, with a trio of Digimon that would constantly torment and pick on him despite Speed just wanting to be friends.
They spent far longer than most Digimon in the village, enduring multiple generations of abuse from the in-training Digimon. When they finally did evolve, they oddly skipped straight to their ultimate levels, right in front of all their bullies. They definitely had the power to simply wipe them all out, but yet... they didn't. They simply walked away, not stopping even once to look back even once. They simply weren't worth it.
The brothers would journey around the Digital World for quite some time, honing their abilities and growing closer and closer each day. They only had each other after all, they loved and cared for the other and knew that they had to protect each other. Eventually, their need to protect got stronger. They wanted to be heroes, like the ones in the stories they would always hear. And eventually, they will get their chance to do so...

Appearance:

Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Dragon's Roar
Type: Dragon Man
Fighting Style: Psych is very methodical. He looks for weaknesses and exploits them, or lets others know how to exploit them. He is not one for close combat, relying on his telekinetic and energy attacks in the long run.
This is the form Psych uses in his everyday use, not as powered up in order to live comfortably.
Abilities:
Mind-Reading (Noncombat Passive): Psychdramon can sense anyone around him in a 100-foot radius, regardless of cloaking devices or abilities. However, he can only fully read the mind of one being that he decides to focus on. He can only do it to one person at a time and must focus fully on it for it to be used in conjunction with combat. Can be resisted.
Flight (Noncombat Passive): Having the powers of telekinesis at hand, he can use a variation of that to lift and control himself in the air.
Telepathy (Noncombat Passive): Psych never learned to properly speak. Instead, he directs his speech-thoughts directly to those around him. He can even send personalized messages directly at specific people.
Optical Illusion (Combat Passive): When struck by a damaging ability, Psychdramon automatically disappears, revealing that he was actually an illusion, therefore making the enemy attack a wide miss. Once consumed, the real Psychdramon becomes possible to sense and attack once again. Must reappear within 25 feet of the illusion. Cooldown is three posts.
Telekinesis (Throw): Psychdramon can pick objects up with his mind, as well as throw, push and launch them. Cooldown depends on object affected: Small objects don't have one, medium objects get one post cooldown, large objects have a three post cooldown. Cannot throw objects larger than a freight truck.
Telekinesis (Block): Psychdramon uses his telekinesis to attempt to stop a moving object in its path, as well as block attacks. Cooldown depends on the size of the object: small gets no cooldown. Medium gets two posts. Large gets four posts. Cannot stop items larger than a freight truck. If blocking an attack, cooldown will be 1 post for rookie attacks, 3 for champion attacks, and will not work on Ultimate, Mega or Super Mega attacks. Close-ranged melee attacks will immobilize an enemy for a post.
Mental Creation: Psych is able to create one of the following weapons (sword, spear, hammer, axe) at a time, with the appearance of being made out of amethyst. Each will do an equal amount of damage (that being the power of a 0-CD move) but Psych can only have one weapon out at a time, having to make the previous weapon vanish before he can summon the new one. He can use these himself or hand them to others to use.
Psycho Blast: Psychdramon uses his power to create a glowing purple sphere of psychic energy in his claws before launching it right at the target. Cooldown is one post.
Optical Blast: Psych's eyes glow with purple energy as he shoots a stream of psychic energy from his eyes towards where he is looking. After it successfully makes contact, the target will gain a persistent headache, so their moves for the next two posts will be 30% less accurate. Cooldown is two posts.
Psycho Slash (RAM Upgrade): Psych charges his claws with glowing purple energy before she slashes the air with both of them, sending two waves of psychic energy blades towards the opponent. Cooldown is two posts.
Violet Barrier (RAM Giga): Psych extends his hand out and creates a transparent violet-colored energy barrier, blocking all attacks from Digimon at Psych's level and below, as well as lessening the damage done from Digimon one level above his current form. Cooldown is three posts.

Digimon Name: Akane
Default Form: Growlmon
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral Good
Skills/Talents:
Personality: As the mother of Speed and Psych, Akane has a few things in common with her sons. She's bubbly and talkative like Speed, and has a sense of humor to match as well. But like Psych, she can also be more wise and methodical if the situation demands it, and is as protective as Psych can be as well. And much like her sons, she has a hero's heart as well.
Aside from that, she has her own traits that differ from her traits as well. She's a natural intimidator thanks to her species. She's able to switch on an act that would make her enemies shake in fear, an act that continues into the way she battles. But at the drop of a hat she can switch right back to her usual goofy self who's prone to slipping on banana peels when no one's watching. Her goofiness even extends to her hobbies like cooking, where she gets so excited that she tends to accidentally burn anything she tries to make. Not only that, but she tends to be a pretty big hugger as well, which causes problems thanks to her super strength. Akane is also very tomboyish, to the point where it would be easy to confuse her for a guy. Not like she mines, she can be feminine when she wants to be but most of the time she wasn't too concerned with how she appears to other people or Digimon.
Despite her outward cheeriness, she has a couple of flaws and regrets holding her back. For one, she's scared of failure. She usually has thoughts about her actions leading to potentially worse outcomes than if she just wasn't involved, so that holds her back from helping out more. However, if anyone, ANYONE she cares about is put in harms way, that's when her intimidating side takes over for real, causing whoever caused her loved ones harm to regret everything they did up to that point. But getting to that point is very rare since Akane has difficulty loving anyone anymore...
Long ago she fell in love with an ExVeemon. The two got along very, very well, and grew very close. Akane was convinced that the two would spend their lives together. Then one day the ExVeemon revealed his true colors as a grade-S asshole, before abandoning Akane not long before they formed a Digiegg. Akane was heartbroken, her ability to love completely shattered and her confidence to be a parent close to gone. She left her Digiegg at the Village of Beginnings and... left. She became a mercenary as a living and hasn't looked back ever since...

- Calm Head
- Intelligence

- Super Strength
- Intimidation Skills
- Fantastic Cook
