Work at the Palace(YsReq 1.2:)(JOB)(COMPLETE)

Alucard sat at a table outside a café staring at his drink. Poseidon was worried as since they returned to Ys to recover from the physical aspect of Alucard's rampage yet the mental aspect still seemed to be eating at the Angemon. As a result Alucard had become well past aloof. It was more like he was a high functioning zombie that almost never spoke. Poseidon didn't even know if his father was hearing any words he had said over the last few days.
Hopping up into the seat across from Alucard, Poseidon said "Dad, while you were recovering I looked around and learned that the palace needed some help with decorating since they don't seem to have enough help. So I hope you don't mind if we take on the job."
At first Poseidon was worried he had to repeat himself until Alucard looked up from his drink and at his son. "Dad, did you here me?" Poseidon asked and Alucard responded to him with little more than a brief nod. "So what do you think? You wanna do this?"
Alucard said nothing for what felt like several minutes but in reality it was only at most thirty seconds of dead silence which worried Poseidon until his Angemon father nodded in agreement and finished his drink before getting up. Poseidon hopped to the ground and walked alongside Alucard following the Angemon who had been mostly mute for several days saying only maybe four words since his rampage. Maybe this peaceful activity would do Alucard some good.
When they reached the palace and got to the decorations both Alucard and Poseidon looked at them before looking around. It seemed that some of the things had to be hung up and most were too high for Poseidon to reach even as Ikkakumon so Poseidon began working with the decorations that didn't need to be hung as high.
Though his wings were still not completely healed, Alucard knew he could still fly for the most part with no problem and since he didn't need to fly at high speeds for a simple decorating job all should theoretically be fine. Taking the first one gently in his hands he then flapped his six wings to lift himself off the ground. He then found a place to hang the first decoration in his hands and carefully hung it in place before returning to the ground for another one.
Meanwhile Poseidon was working hard on hanging various decorations and even reared up on his stubby back flippers to hang some of them. As he was rearing up to hang a decoration he lost his balance and tumbled backwards into the nearby water. Fortunately, since he was a marine digimon he wasn't hurt as he swam up to the surface and climbed out of the water. After shaking his coat dry and giggling at his clumsiness he then walked up to the dropped decoration and was happy it wasn't damaged in the slightest so he picked it up and got back to work as if nothing happened.
While Alucard was working out of the corner of his eye he noticed that Poseidon had fallen into the water but it didn't seem to bother the Gomamon one bit as he got back to work shortly after. Glad his kid was fine he got back to work with hanging the various decorations. Soon the area around the palace was filled with decorations and Alucard and Poseidon began walking away from a job well done. "Shame we didn't see the king while working, Dad. That would of been so cool. Oh well at least we got the work done."
Alucard nodded indicating he was listening to Poseidon but still said nothing but he seemed less stressed which made Poseidon feel a bit better. Maybe in time his father would recover. All he had to do was be there for his father when he was ready to open up.
