And as it turned out, things went rather swimmingly for Magnus and his aquatic allies. Akemi managed to get her pincers onto the chain around DeathMeramon, and with a twist and a snap, the chain shattered to thousands of tiny pieces as the Ultimate-level suddenly shrieked in horror. Meanwhile, the Birdramon and Flarizamon looked on in confusion.
"Father... is something the matter?"
The DeathMeramon suddenly pulled away from Akemi, and pretty much everyone in general. Including the singing MarinAngemon who just seemed intent on vocally vibing at the moment. "I... I don't know who the hell you little shitbags think you are, but you haven't seen the last of me... We're leaving! Get off your asses and get a move on!" And he then proceeded to jog away from the area. A pretty brisk pace with a good running form. Probably did track or something when he was still a Rookie-level. The other two fiery Digimon did so as well, the Birdramon waddling around until he could get his wings going once again.
Assuming Magnus didn't order his crew to murderize the group while their backs were turned. Otherwise, all that was left was Honoka, completely and utterly out of control with the power of song.
"Someone... please... help me..."
Oh yeah, and the Meramon laying down in the desolate sand. His body wasn't on fire at the moment, and it resembled something of a charcoal-black manikin. His entire data structure was shimmering in and out. "If there's anyone there... I don't think I'm gonna make it... and... I'm in a lot of pain. Is there anyone that can help... speed things along for me...?"
And without missing a beat, Honoka fluttered over towards the fallen Meramon, beginning to let out a somber melody. A light blue light covered the Meramon's body, and his form suddenly shrank down, then scattered into countless bits of data. And all that remained of the fallen Meramon was the Digitama he left behind, and a light blue Digivice placed right next to it, the same model as Honoka's own. And curiously enough, it suddenly vanished not soon after.
Certainly something strange, for sure, but more importantly, it didn't seem like anyone was trying to murder each other anymore!

That seemed to do the trick! Katherine’s pincers had successfully snapped the piece of jewelry off the digimon’s neck, and that made him… turn into quite the sore loser. Not that anyone present could complain about that, as it had finally made it so the group could leave him alone.
“Actually, I wouldn’t mind if this was the last time we saw your ugly face, dude. Please leave us alone next time when we ask for that!” Chances were that the Anomalocarimon’s words would go unheard, but at least they served as a kind of catharsis. Almost everything went back to normal; partners devolved, xroses undid themselves and Honoka seemed hellbent on being out of control. Well; at least her current form had been harmless ever since she had adopted it. Maybe that was a good sign? Maybe it’d be easier to reason with it for once, even though Magnus wasn’t precisely hopeful on that being the case.
But, maybe he wouldn’t have to do that. After the Meramon was mercy-killed and promptly subjected to the endless loop of reincarnation, Sasha approached the MarineAngemon while Katherine bounced back to where her general was located. “Heeey~! Honoka-chan!” The Jazamon called out in her usual tone. “We did it! It’s fine to devolve now. Maybe we can go to a more comfortable place to wind down a bit and those things human like.”
From his spot, the male just plopped into the ground, Mai patting his back as encouragement. “I guess that all’s well that ends well. Unless Honoka thinks we’re the villains now or something to those effects. It’s nice to know we’re finally safe.”
“I gotta say that this wasn’t what I had in mind when you accepted this quest, by the way.” Katherine’s disposition managed to remain positive, but the truth was the truth. “I wish I had known we had to protect the girl from herself. Quite the experience, wasn’t it?”
Akemi was quick to respond. “Y-Yeah. But at l-least we were a-able to keep everyone s-safe.” Sides the fiery digimons, at least it seemed like no one was gravely injured, and that was a relief as far as the group was concerned. Only thing really missing was Honoka coming back to her senses.
Hopefully that would happen without further bumps.

But unfortunately for Magnus's group, this Beast Spirit was not to be tamed. And yet, with the primary threats gone, the three raging spirits were left to their own devices. So... they went wild. Not particularly violent, but they just let loose for a bit.
For starters, the MarinAngemon fluttered about, creating a sphere of water and trying to wash everyone away in it, performing something of a impromptu concert for Magnus and his partners. In the water, which for some reason everyone could breathe perfectly fine in, it was as if the MarinAngemon's voice was amplified and the sound carried clearly all around them, a surround-sound bubble, is it were.
Not long after, Honoka shifted back into the Silphymon, who proceeded to fly circles around them, leaving behind streaks of colors wherever she went, and for a while, the group would find themselves surrounded by a shimmering aurora, reflected and refracted by the light of the lingering waters left by MarinAngemon.
And finally, she had switched back to the Sunflowmon, who began to glow with an intense light, then fire off bursts of sunshine out into the sky like they were fireworks. And while Honoka had absolutely no control in this decision-making process of these three new raging spirits inside of her head, Hopefully this little visual and audio spectacle would be enough to make up for the fact she got a group of people she had just met, people kind enough to not let a stranger travel alone in a desert, into a stupid fight they didn't need to join in on.
But it was thanks to Magnus and his group that things went rather well, all things considered. Honoka herself wouldn't have had a chance on her own, and with the raging beasts spirits controlling Honoka, she wouldn't have run away during her rampage. And while the fiery group certainly seemed misguided, it wasn't like they were malevolent or anything. Well, maybe the jury was still out regarding DeathMeramon.
Overall, things could have been much worse. But as it stood, the fact that Honoka had gained some new power that not only could she not control, but actively controlled her wasn't something that was going to sit well with her in the near future. She already had enough trouble dealing with the fairly civilized Human Spirits within her. But these strong-willed Beast Spirits that were more instinct than anything else? That... was gonna pose a problem.
But that was a problem that would have to wait for tomorrow. Because today, once the three Beast Spirits had finally worn themselves out, Honoka reverted back to her human form, unconscious. Experiencing the power of just one Beast Spirit would have been exhausting enough, but something as stubbornstrong-willed as Honoka could manage. But three had left the poor girl completely drained.
...Hopefully Magnus still remembered how to give a piggyback.
~Exit. Thanks for the thread!~

Things hadn’t been exactly smooth thus far. Who said they’d suddenly turn that way because there wasn’t an immediate threat anymore? Magnus and company would soon find out that their hopes of a calm Honoka once the confrontation was over wouldn’t precisely be met.
Sasha was likely the most disappointed out of everyone present when things didn’t go her way and it was likely a combination of her naivete and the fact she had somewhat interacted with Honoka the most, at least when compared to the rest of Magnus army. Her shoulders slumped for a bit, at least until Miyu began calling for her. “Oi~! Sasha-chan! The view from this point is better! C’mere!”
Magnus had initially been very concerned regarding the sudden flood, and was about to reach his wallet for the means to breathe underwater, but luckily it was proven that wasn’t something needed, at least for the time being. So, he just sat as his partners joined him at watching the unfolding spectacle of Honoka’s various forms.
“You know? If she wasn’t completely out of control, I’d think she’s just showing off. Pretty impressive, though!” Katherine wasn’t missing a beat; truth to be told, the act was pretty, and definitely something anyone present didn’t mind witnessing. “Do you think she’s getting tired soon? I doubt anyone can hold an evolution if they’re wasting energy like that.”
“I hope so.” Even if the show was impressive, Magnus’ cautious nature couldn’t shake off the fact that it hadn’t taken much in the past for the Honoka’s spirits to turn violent. Hopefully they wouldn’t have a repeat of that one! “I kinda wonder how Honoka will feel once she wakes up. She sounds like the type that would be pretty tough on herself once she realizes what happened.”
“What counts was that everything was fine in the end. I’m glad we were able to handle that group of lunatics, and I really hope we don’t see them again. They looked like they could go lengths in order to be an inconvenience.”
It was fairly obvious who were the worriers of the group. Luckily, there were enough people to balance it out! “Not something important at the moment! We’re the winners, so don’t make it sound like we aren’t!” Miyu was pretty on point there, and just in time for Sunflowmon to finish her act and Honoka to drop the evolution… and her consciousness altogether.
The male trotted towards his fallen peer and proceeded to make sure that in fact she was just unconscious and her life wasn’t in peril or something. Once it became clear that Honoka just had a case of very tired, Magnus gestured at Mai so she could help him set the girl on his shoulders. It was a bit surprising, but… Honoka was fairly light. “I guess we’re heading to the nearest settlement so she can rest. Then she’ll probably insist on being fine and for us to not worry about her.”
A bit scary on how accurate that statement could be. Nonetheless, Sasha nodded. “Yes.”
“Maybe it’d be just better if we got to Terminus. At least that place’s fairly safe, isn’t it?”
Once again, the Jazamon nodded. “I’d like for Honoka-chan to be safe.”
Probably not something that could realistically be attained. Nevertheless, a noble goal that was more or less worthy of being pursued. With those thoughts, the group set out for their next destination. [Exit]

I suppose I can allow this.
Honoka attains the three sisters' Beast Spirit forms.
Magnus is awarded a sum of bits. 1000.
Enjoy~!
