Ending the Nightmare (MATURE) (B-Rank)

Though this was only a nightmare the agonized cries of MadLeomon made Mandrake visibly ill but after taking a couple of breathes he, though a bit pale, was glad that these illusions were not even truly alive. How were they going to handle Shademon after this?
Lothar, meanwhile, just spotted Mandrake looking pale and distressed and it didn't take a telepath to figure out what was wrong but first things first Lothar decided to take advantage of the fact that Beelzemon was injured as a lion shaped aura form around his fist before he said "Fist of the Beast King!" He launched the aura at Beelzemon with a mighty swing of his fist.
Lothar's voice seemed to snap Mandrake out of it causing the Wizardmon to scan the field with his eyes. Seeing Omni moving to attack Shoutmon, Mandrake decided that the best way to help was to fight illusion with illusion. Spinning his staff he said "Magical Game!" A bright flash of light that lasted barely a few seconds appeared in front of Omni before revealing many duplicates of Shoutmon and Luna before the RedMagnamon's eyes. Of course there was still only one Shoutmon and Luna but perhaps this would give them the cover they needed.

Lothar launches his Fist of the Beast King at the injured Beelzemon.
Fist of the Beast King: A lion shaped aura forms around his fist before he launches it with a punch.
Mandrake uses his Magical Game to create illusions of Shoutmon and Luna.

Dust cursed under his breath as his past self managed to dodge his attack, even countering with the same attack Dust had just thrown! That was a low move. Dust managed to pull his arms up blocking his body from taking the full hit of the attack though as Dust was launched upwards the exact same way that he was going to send the Beelzemon! Luckily Luna was still in the air falling down towards them. " Don't worry, I got ya Dust!" Luna smiled as she reached out grabbing the Impmon before he flew past her and pulling him in for what looked like a hug. Then the two of them fell to the ground, Luna landing leaning forward into a roll and stopping near the Beelzemon. Looking over she saw Mandrake do something to create a few illusions of Shoutmon. Luna was going to give him a barrier but that should work well enough for now as they Focus on the Beelzemon. " Alright, you ready Dust?" Luna asked the Impmon she was still holding as she looked up at the Beelzemon. Dust hopped down rubbing his arms, he was definitely starting to feel all this damage he had taken but he wasn't out yet. " Ready, Lets do this." With that the two of them booked it towards the Beelzemon, rushing at him with their fists drawn. As Lothar's fist of the beast king either missed or hit Luna and Dust would be on top of the Beelzemon, Luna raising her fist in the air. " Elusive Dash!" Last time Luna used this move she did a heel turn the last minute, not this time as she just went straight on through. " Straight!" She called out as she aimed her fist right into the Beelzemon's chest. Dust would follow up if Luna hit or missed, hopping on the Lekismon's shoulder jumping up to get a better angle. From there wherever the Beelzemon went Dust would fire a small fireball at them that would head to where he wanted it to go then detonate in a powerful explosion. " Flaming detonator!" He called out to explode the fireball right next to the digimon.
Luna B.A
Luna catches Dust and performs the straight punch variant of Elusive Dash.
Move Used:
[Elusive dash] Quickly dashes towards the opponent and before they get to close dashes around, behind them before delivering a devastating uppercut or delivers the uppercut without going behind the opponent. 2 post cool down

"You're wrong..." Adrian said with a smirk. "Dianamon was the first one to be knocked out on your airship, she got squeezed into a state of unconsciousness by a MegaSeadramon! Then when she came to, she pulled a suicide move to annihilate everyone all at once, and she still failed at doing that! Dianamon died by tearing the very flesh off of herself... She was the epitome of going out like a punk, and the real Omni was there for ALL OF IT. You'd know that if you were the actual Omni!"
"But you're not - you're nothing but a fake!" Shoutmon yelled with a big grin on his face. Adrian walked up and kneeled beside him, the two of them constantly chanting at the fake RedMagnamon. "Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake!"
"And even if you are real..." Shoutmon said as he and Adrian watched the Flame Cannon come right at them, "I wouldn't care. I know who I am, and that is a completely separate person from my previous life. Omni will never return in his full form as long as I'm alive... I am no longer afraid of you, Omni."
But then suddenly, a bright light flashed in the area, and there were now a bunch of copies of Shoutmon and Luna sprinkled throughout the area, and thankfully Shoutmon was able to use this to his advantage, staying hidden among the copies as the Flame Cannon managed to hit only one of the copies. If Luna's and Dust's attacked managed to collide with Beelzemon, that should take care of him, leaving only the fake Omni left...

The Beelzemon was overwhelmed by the various attacks, and ended up being obscured by the resulting smoke from Dust's flame detonator. As the smoke cloud, the mutilated Beelzemon, its left arm completely gone, would stumble out of the smoke while heading towards Dust. The Beelzemon would reach out its remaining hand towards the Impmon, only for it to slow to a halt as its body faded to a pure white color before literally cracking apart and shattering into pieces.
Fake Omni actually paused his assault on Shoutmon in order to watch the demise of his "ally". "I suppose it's only fitting that I'm the last one standing. Heh. Well, if I'm going down, I'll take at least one of you with me!"
With those words, Omni would start charging towards the center of the group of illusionary Shoutmons, Lunamons, and Adrian before unleashing a Dragon Bomb with the intent to strike all of them at once.
Beelzemon: [DEAD]
RedMagnamon:
Dragon Bomb: RedMagnamon's entire body charges with fiery energy. He slams onto the ground, releasing that energy with a devastating explosion up to 100m in diameter. Cooldown is three posts. 0/3

As Beelzemon stumbled out of the smoke missing his left arm Mandrake shuddered and tightened the grip on his staff. This sight had brought up memories of the night he had lost most of his left arm. Though he did not know if it was just Shademon finding another way to torment but enough was enough.
As Beelzemon reached out for Dust it seemed that was the illusory monster's final action as he faded pure white, began cracking apart, and then shattering into pieces. Now all was left was Omni and he was glowing red. Reaching out to everyone telepathically, Mandrake said "Everyone watch out it looks like Omni is planning to use a strong move. Get back!"
Mandrake then began glowing before he then said "Divine Transformation!" Mandrake's body began changing shape before he had tranformed into what looked like a red tail hawk from the Human World only much larger. Mandrake flapped his wings and flew towards Luna, Dust, and Lothar before he telepathically said "Everyone hop on I think finishing this fight from the air would be the best idea." Lothar leapt up catching hold of one of Mandrake's talons before flipping up landing on Mandrake's back. Hoping Luna and Dust would take up his offer he flew toward Adrian gently scooping the human up from behind with his talons.
Balanced on Mandrake's back stood Lothar gathering an aura around himself before it form in his hands. "Aura Ball!" Lothar exclaimed aiming for Omni's eyes hoping it would give them time to get to Shoutmon. Mandrake soon flew over Shoutmon and telepathically said "Shoutmon, jump and grab on quick!"

Mandrake uses his Divine Transformation to transform into a giant red tail hawk before flying around.
[RAM UPGRADE] Divine Transformation: Allows Mandrake the ability to transform into various Human World animals. The animals can be bigger or smaller than average. As an animal he can attack with various parts of his body. While using this ability he can still communicate telepathically but has no access to his other powers. If he gets hit by an attack or uses another ability he returns to his normal form. Lasts two posts.

From on Mandrake's back Lothar launches an Aura Ball towards Fake Omni's face.
Aura Ball: Gathers an aura around himself before it forms a ball in his hands. He then thrust his hands forward launching the ball.

Dust landed near his counterpart, watching the smoke clear. Seeing the missing arm and the Beelzemon stumbling towards him Dust instead of making sure the job was done simply walked a few steps forward, reaching up and taking the Beelzemon's hand into his own closing his eyes. " I swear I will never go back, but I won't deny who I was. Rest in peace... Dust." He knew the Beezemon was fake, he knew his words meant nothing. Still Dust offered a small amount of solace and peace for the Beelzemon, after all he was him. He held his hand the entire time until the illusion fully faded leaving his hands empty. Luna smiled and put her hand on Dust's shoulder, looking up at her she gave him the largest smile she could. Letting out a small chuckle he did the same. Though that time was over now, it was now time to be worried about Magnamon about to effing explode. Mandrake told the two of them, in their mind which was weird, that he was going to take to the skies. Luna looked up at them and down at Dust. Luna let a dark magic envelop her hand as she patted Dust on the back, forming the reflect barrier around the Impmon quickly before she ran and leapt up high in the air to grab onto Mandrake, pulling herself on top of the bird. Dust stretched out his arms, not moving to join Mandrake or Luna in flying. No instead Dust ran headfirst into the blast zone Omni would create, he felt the force of the blast around him but the barrier Luna made would hold through the whole attack, didn't matter how strong it was the barrier was pretty powerful. Reaching the epicenter of the blast zone Dust would charge his fists with dark energy before jumping above Omni and slamming his fists on the Mangamon's helmet with a double overhead strike before landing and following up with two more hits before detonating a massive fireball at close range to the digimon
Luna B.A: Luna joins Mandrake and Lothar in the air after casting reflect barrier on Dust to keep him safe.
Moves used:
[Reflect Barrier] Creates a barrier of darkness around self or another that lasts for 1 posts and can take 2 direct attacks from champion level or below digimon. Cool down 4 posts once the barrier is gone. The barrier can be detonated for a powerful short ranged attack, adding 1 Cool down to total if used.

Okay, good... Beelzemon was the next to fall, actually fading into a pure white color before he crumbled apart like dust. Two down, one to go, probably the worst one of the lot: Omni himself. The fake RedMagnamon watched as the Beelzemon fell apart, before stating that if he was going down he would be taking someone with him. He ran towards the center of the fake Shoutmons and Lunas, preparing an attack that Shoutmon knew all too well.
Oh no... he's going to use Dragon Bomb!
Suddenly he and Adrian would hear a voice in their heads: Mandrake's voice, warning everyone to get back. Clearly he saw what kind of move Omni was going to use as well. Mandrake would then use some form of spell to transform himself into a giant red-tailed hawk, alerting everyone to get on so they can finish the fight in the air. Adrian could feel himself being lifted up by Mandrake's talons from behind... and it totally wasn't activating his fear of falling right now, nope, not at all, everything was perfectly fine!
"I've fallen once before and survived, I've fallen once before and survived..." Adrian would keep mumbling to himself while in the air.
It didn't take long for Mandrake to fly back and allow Shoutmon to jump on, which the red dragon did, hopping up and grabbing onto one of Mandrake's legs. "It's going to be alright Adri, I won't let you fall," Shoutmon reassured him, knowing about his partner's crippling fear of falling from a great height such as this. "We don't want this Shademon to feed off of any fear whatsoever!"
"Okay... okay, I'll try..." Adrian would say, trying his hardest to calm himself down. Since Shoutmon was still stuck at Rookie level, he'd wait until the perfect moment to strike, when his attack would be the killing blow to the fake Omni.

While Shademon was annoyed at yet ANOTHER of his avatars being destroyed, at least it meant that he could now focus all of his efforts on controlling the false Omni. At this rate, the Shademon might finally absorb enough energy to reach his Mega form! Not much longer now...
Back in the illusion, the false Omni scoffed in irritation as everyone managed to dodge his Dragon bomb, but at least those annoying illusionary clones were all toast. Literally. "I hope you know that merely flying away won't save you. Magnamons are capable of flight, after all."
The RedMagnamon would then follow up by rising into the air to give chase to the transformed Wizardmon and his allies. The Leomon's Aura Ball was telegraphed enough for Omni to dodge it, but the only thing he could do to prepare for Dust's attack was to charge his own fists with fire and intercept the Impmon's punches with a Flame Punch Flurry. The fiery blows would counter Impmon's punches, but weren't enough to protect Omni from the explosion that followed afterwards.
The scorched RedMagnamon would then attempt to grab Dust by the throat and start strangling him. "I admire your fire, Imp, but there's a fine line between courage and suicidal stupidity. And you've crossed it."
RedMagnamon:
Flame Punch Flurry: Both of RedMagnamon's fists charge with fire as he charges up and repeatedly punches the target. Cooldown is one post. 0/1

The illusions Mandrake casted with his Magical game where incinerated by Omni and, unfortunately, Lothar's attack was dodged but Shoutmon had jumped onto Mandrake's leg in his giant red tailed hawk transformation. In Mandrake's talons Adrian didn't seem to be taking it well as he was mumbling 'I've fallen once before and survived, I've fallen once before and survived' Shoutmon was trying to comfort Adrian as well and Mandrake felt guilty since he didn't know that either Adrian was afraid of heights or he was afraid of falling but he reached out telepathically as he said "I'm sorry I have caused you such fright, Adrian, but it was better than you being caught up in that firey explosion. Now let's deal with the final illusion."
Sure he had heard Omni but didn't so much as respond to the obvious statement regarding the red dragon's ability to fly. Mandrake wasn't trying to escape since they had no where to go until Omni was defeated and Shademon was dealt with anyway. Seeing Omni trying to choke the life out of Dust he flew towards Omni and, to Lothar, telepathically said "Now Lothar!"
Lothar nodded and lept off of Mandrake's back drawing his sword intending to land on Omni and attack the red dragon with his rarely used sword.

Dust grunted a bit as his punches were met by Omni's, thankfully they seemed to cancel each other out, neither damaging the other which would work well for Dust. Managing to even hit him with the end explosion of his attack. Dust let a smirk cross his face for a moment as Omni charged him, seemingly not worried in the slightest about it. The scorched RedMagnamon would find Dust couldn't, or rather wouldn't move out of the way seemingly letting the digimon grab him. Dust smiled for a moment as Omni would find he wouldn't be able to get his hands around the Impmon's neck. " The only one who is suicidal here is you, for even thinking you stood a chance against me! Luna!" Dust called as overhead Luna gave a thumbs up before putting her hands over her chest. " Reflect the pain done onto you and deliver it on twice fold, Reflect Barrier BURST!" Luna called out letting a powerful force echo from her body. Which would go down towards the barrier still surrounding the Impmon causing it to light up brightly before exploding in a powerful dark energy dealing quite a bit of damage to the RedMagnamon, instead of letting the barrier blast him off though Dust had other ideas. Dust would reach forward grabbing the Magnamon by the arm before pulling him close. " DARK UPPER!" Dust would unleash a powerful uppercut straight into Omni's chest while letting go of his arm, the hit would send him flying further upward, unsurprisingly right towards the now falling Lothar who would probably have some not so nice things to give Omni.
Dust B.A Dust after deflecting the damage from Omni's attack lets himself get grabbed to let Luna erupt the Reflect Barrier around him before it vanishes, grabbing Omni and uppercutting him into the waiting arms of Lothar.

Mandrake apologized to Adrian via telepathy for bringing him high up like this, stating that it was better than being caught up in the fiery explosion. "Trust me, I COMPLETELY agree with you there," Adrian responded. "It's not the height I'm afraid of, it's the possibility of falling. Just don't go upside down and we'll all be good, okay?!"
Omni didn't seem all that thrilled with the way that everyone took to the sky to avoid the attack. Adrian and Shoutmon knew that he could fly as well, so it wouldn't be a permanent solution. He dodged Lothar's Aura Ball attack and countered Dust's with a Flame Punch Flurry of his own, though still getting hit by the fireball part. But then... Omni crossed the line in Shoutmon's eyes. He grabbed Dust by the throat, threatening that he had crossed a line.
This was the exact thing that Shoutmon was afraid of. But this time, Shoutmon wasn't scared... he was angry.
"Crossed the line...?" Adrian and Shoutmon would say at the same time, before they glared straight at Omni with both of their eyes now glowing yellow, and their voices becoming distorted.. "̴̥̂T̵̜̕h̴̳̓é̷̺ ̶̹̅o̸̜͆n̴̦͘l̷̤̚ý̴̟ ̷̦͘o̵̺̓n̵̪̏e̴̠̓ ̵̥͠w̵̢̽h̵͉̓o̶̱̐'̷̧͑s̷̤͂ ̶̠͆c̴̨͊r̴͎̽o̵̺͊s̵̺̏ŝ̴̳ȅ̶͚d̴͇̀ ̴̲͘t̶̗͝h̴̜̀ȩ̷͝ ̷̞͗l̸͕͂į̶͗n̴͇̽é̷̜ ̴̢͘î̸͓s̴̥̅ ̶̜́Y̵̹̑O̸̟͝Ǔ̸͉!̸̥̊"̴̧̇
A powerful red aura surrounded both Adrian and Shoutmon, the aura itself linking the two of them together. With their eyes still glowing yellow, Shoutmon leapt off of Mandrake with his microphone summoned, with after Lothar, Luna and Dust had perfomed their attacks. If one were to look closely, a very faint aura-image of a large dragon with a cape and a sword was surrounding Shoutmon, the aura still linked to Adrian's.
"̸͓͆Y̷͍̎o̶̪͒u̶̱̚ ̷͚͂ẉ̸̔i̸̞̎l̷͚̐l̸͕͠ ̶̫̓N̴̖̐E̵̘͝V̴͈̓E̵̦͋R̴̞͠ ̶̥̀h̴̡̀ũ̸͙r̵̬͑t̵̺̆ ̶̟͑ä̴̱́n̶̛̯y̶̙͘ö̶͎́n̵̪̅e̶̫̿ ̶̡̓E̵͇̎V̸̫̀Ȩ̶͂R̵̪̐ ̸̝̎Ȃ̵̦G̶͎͂A̴̦͝I̸̝͐N̸̮͆!̴̜͌"̵͈͂
And thus, Shoutmon's mic staff collided with Omni in a surprisingly powerful-looking blow as the final strike against the apparition... what was going to happen now?

If one looked closely, they could see the moment that Omni realized he was in trouble before the barrier surrounding the Impmon exploded in Omni's face and left the red and gold dragon wide open for Dust to uppercut the RedMagnamon hard enough to send him flying head over heel into Lothar's blade, the sword skewering Omni through the stomach.
"W-well... played." Omni coughed out, spitting up blood under the faceplate of his helmet. He stared Lothar dead in the eye before grabbing onto the Leomon's arm with one hand to keep Lothar from getting free as Omni prepared to use his other clawed hand to impale Lothar through the chest. "But like I said,... I'm not going down alo-Grrk!"
Omni was interrupted by Shoutmon's final attack, his mic staff overlaid by the image of a Slayerdramon's blade as the attack literally bisected Omni at the waist. Omni released his grip on Lothar as both halves fell to the ground, slowly disintegrating as they fell.
"So this... is what we're truly capable of? I guess we now know who the real Shoutmon is, huh?" The RedMagnamon chuckled at his counterpart managing to kill him even with a handicap. Omni managed to accept his sown demise with dignity as he fully disappeared back into the void he was created from.
With all three avatars defeated, the nightmare world started to violently tear itself apart as the six individuals trapped within started to regain consciousness.

While the others were dealing with Omni, Mandrake made another pass around before swooping down low and setting Adrian gently on the ground before landing nearby his Divine Transformation wearing off and returned back to his Wizardmon state. When he saw Omni take ahold of Lothar's arm with the intent of taking the Leomon out obvious in his eyes Mandrake tightened the grip on his staff before running to Lothar.
Lothar had also seen Omni's intention as he raised his fist intending to punch the RedMagnamon in the face but that proved unnecessary as Shoutmon used his microphone much like a sword splitting the RedMagnamon in twain. By this point Mandrake had made it to Lothar's side as the nightmarish world around them began coming apart violently. It seemed Shademon's plan to consume them had fallen apart right with the nightmare itself and now he had six individuals to deal with and five of them were digimon and it was unlikely anyone would be in a good mood.

Dust smirked as his attack hit the mark, after he hit the digimon Dust started to fall downward staring up at the Magnamon. "Heh sorry, some fake Knight in a nightmare can't stand the real deal. Go to sleep, but this time never wake up again." Dust didn't seem to really care if the digimon heard him or not, it also seemed like no one was in a real hurry to catch him. Save for the Lekismon that seemed to of just jumped off Mandrake down to the Impmon.
"Don't worry, I got you Dust!" Luna grabbed the Impmon by the hand, pulling him close before spinning her body around landing on her feet with a pretty solid impact. "Whew, that was a close one. Don't worry though. I always got your back!" Luna said letting the Impmon back on the ground.
"You always do, don't you." As they landed though They got a wonderful sight of Omni and Shoutmon hitting the ground next to them, they were a bit caught up in Dust falling but seeing that they wondered just what Shoutmon did to him? They couldn't evolve right now right. "I swear to Yggdrasil if I could've evolved this whole time and taken them out as Beelzemon I wo1- wait what?"
Before Dust could finish the thought his mind started fading. It wasn't like he was passing out though, In truth after a few moments both he and Luna would wake up on the floor which they fell, back in the cabin.

It truly was Shoutmon's final attack that would be the true undoing of this fake Omni. The Slayerdramon after image began to fade and Adrian's and Shoutmon's eye colors both went back to normal afterwards. They both watched as the two halves of the RedMagnamon fell to the ground, stating that now everyone knew who the real Shoutmon was after all.
"In a sense... we were both the real deal, at different points in our lives," Shoutmon muttered as the apparition faded away. And thus, with the imposter Omni defeated, Shoutmon felt that he could finally live on without the hovering fear of the RedMagnamon taking over once more...
This isn't over, Shoutmon, Shoutmon could hear a voice in his head. There is another way I can be able to come back...!
"What's happening...?!" Shoutmon asked himself but before he could get a straight answer, the dream-like world began to fade. From Adrian and Shoutmon's perspective, their pears began disappearing one by one... first Dust, then Lothar, then Luna, then finally Mandrake. Adrian began to fall but that's when the floor disappeared as well, leaving both the Tamer and Digimon falling down a hole of nothingness...
And almost immediately, both Adrian and Shoutmon jolted upwards, now fully awake and back in their actual bodies. Looking around, they would see that Mandrake and Lothar were awake too, as well as Luna and Dust. They all had done it... they defeated their own nightmares and returned back to the real Digital World. There was only one thing left to take care of... Shademon himself.
Looking around the room, the two would eventually lay eyes on the dark ultimate level Digimon who had spent all this time trying to consume their energy. And thanks to his methods of doing so, Adrian and Shoutmon were both angry as hell. "You made the biggest mistake of your life, pal," Adrian sternly said. The tamer would then activate his Digivice, causing a gold light to shimmer from it.
"Shoutmon, Super Evolution!" The Shoutmon's body glew and morphed into a much taller shape, disregarding any decency by shattering the cabin they were in in the process. After what Shademon tried to do to them, he really deserved much more than to have his cabin be destroyed. "OmniShoutmon!"
