With them deciding to go in at super mega at the start would certainly expedite things; it likely would instill panic into whatever ultimates were there. The overwhelming signals and physical presence of any super mega in just about any conflict was enough sometimes to turn the tide especially if the others didn’t have one. Chalice would bite her lower lip; she was a little skeptical about that decision but if everyone was onboard…
”All or nothing huh? Might actually work out. But you have a point, if one of you goes down there’s no telling what could happen.”
Then came the second part of syre’s suggestion. That the twins would be in different groups once dealing with the megas. Or was that overall? Regardless the AI gave a small nod. Everyone had different specialities and while she was just actual data and her counterpart was cloned data… they understood!
Then if you don’t mind me suggesting it. Based on what data I was able to gather of your various forms… Shi, Yuudi, Yasuo and Syre should be on one team. Your flexibility should be enough to turn the tides. A little splash of everything. Which would mean the other team would be Carlos, Dio, Gio and Cion. If carlos were to come under fire or be hurt that just means that we have our strongest healer with him.
Chalice and the AI shared a glance; shi not thinking he was the best to carry the AI and carlos just… well going along with the idea of being carried. But she had to wonder about shi; would he be okay if left with the fight too? Neither knew if anyone here were capable of biomerging…
”Then comes the suggestion here. If you biomerge your safety is largely guaranteed to delivery point. If any of you are capable of that that is. It’s not a bad time to say that you’ve only done so once; just… Well we couldn’t turn you down since you already know whats going on here. Regardless. We’ll still move forward.”
Chalice huffed a little bit and tapped the table; there was a lot of information to process but this meeting was basically over at this point. The only thing left? Well… A small holodisplay would light up and a fairly familiar leomon would appear. Or at least his head and shoulders would!
”Is the team ready?”
They are director. As ready as they could be.
”Good. The teleport is primed and awaiting your arrival.”
Director are you sure about this?
”Outsourcing to mercs and humans has long been in terminus’ blood. But if you mean to ask me about coming with? Yeah. I’m sure. Last door on your left you lot. I’ll be waiting.”
Both of the chalice’s let out a sigh as the display turned off. One of them shook their head and the other folded her arms. The AI would glance at carlos and motion for him to take a little chip that popped out of the table.
That right there is me, don’t drop it okay? You can put me into your digivice if you really want just… mind you it’ll be cramped for everyone involved.
”Spose we should have told you about that but… Erm. Not really a good way of putting it into everything. He’s got some other business that needs to be handled down there. But don’t worry. Malganoth is a seasoned fighter; was a merc long before he was a director so he won’t get in the way.”
It also probably meant the group would have someone to keep an eye on… If everyone was ready though? Or didn’t have any questions they would be allowed to leave the briefing room. Chalice herself looked rather miffed she wasn’t going with but the trust this place had in her was tiny.
The last door on the left would be where they’d find not only where the director was but the huge teleportation array. It seemed faiurly advanced compared to the one that they would have used last time. Certainly a lot more power behind it. There were a few engineers bickering over settings in one corner; the same hi-andromon from the entry plaza… and one leomon that was standing by the teleporter.
He seemed to be going over some of the coordinates; grumbling to himself as he was working on punching in the long sequence of code that was required to send such a large group through what felt like hundreds if not thousands of feet of rock, metal and other elements. He didn’t even turn to look at everyone before addressing them.
”I’ve worked with four of you before. So I’ll say this to the ones I haven’t.”
He’d turn his head to look at them and squint a bit. He wasn’t even sure what he was looking at right now. Or rather what he was sensing at least!
”Don’t mess this up. There’s more lives riding on this than you can even know.”

It was hard to know what the 'right' strategy here. Between the diagram, working off of mere data signals, and working with Digimon of various personalities and skill levels, there was no way that Syre, nor anyone here, could account for every occurrence. Thus came the Sistermon's simple strategy, one that everyone in the group could understand and follow.
Nodding at Chalice's comment, Syre would let out a small sigh. "Just to make sure we have it all straight in our heads: we'll teleport as a group of four in front of the elevators, and tear the doors open. I will be going with Shi's team to the left, and Cion will be going with Carlos' team to the right. We'll tear our way through the megas, destroy the offices, and meet up as four at the bottom level, to fight Orion and his 'experiment."
Simple enough - at least, it was simple enough to say. And with that, the team was ready. It seemed that Malganoth was going to be coming along as well, though? Quite a bit to add at the 'last moment', but then again, that Leomon was motivated to make sure that Orion never came back again.
So, Syre wasn't too worried on that front. As the group would start to head off, though, Syre would give a tap at Cion's shoulder, and - if she could - she'd pull the Arniomon in for a brief hug, even giving a small scratch behind her head. "I'll see you on the other side, hun. Keep those dorks safe - and keep an eye on Dio, he can get hot-headed." With that brief moment passed, the Sistermon would walk on by, giving a thumbs-up towards Carlos, before stepping out into the hall. Before they would reach the destination proper, however, Syre took a moment to step away from the group, for one simple reason:
Sistermon simply wasn't going to cut it. Taking one deep breath to relax herself, Syre rested her arms at her side, a bright light pulsing throughout her form. It wasn't as grand as the first time, but it was still an impressive burst of energy - one that everyone here would be familiar with. And with it, Syre the Gallantmon would step on forth, carefully ducking under the doorway to slip into the teleportation room.
Malganoth had it right: the group couldn't afford any grave errors. Syre would simply give a nod, and await further instructions.
It was time to start.

Shi reached up and scratched the back of his neck for a second, they did have a point after all, if one of them fell early on that would cause quite a bit of problems but this didn't seem to be something they could afford to be too passive about. All in all though it seemed like a solid plan to him, even if the risk of him getting hurt was a bit higher then normal.... Though when was he ever safe when digital world stuff was involved. He didn't need the recap Syre gave though it was probably good to say it aloud in full detail.
When it came down to what team's should be selected Shi just gave a small shrug at the suggestion, he didn't really have an opinion so that sounded good enough to him. "If you say so I'll go along with it." The twins at his side both gave nods, though then something about Biomerging came up. "Yeah that's how the three of us usually do this, suppose I'll Biomerge when we get down to the Teleporters." Though that part of Carlos only having gone Super Mega once did concern Shi a bit, time to be a beacon of emotional support like Shi always is.
"Better then never having gone Super Mega, I guess." Superb people skills as always! Though as he did that a small display came up with a Leomon.... That Shi absolutely had no idea who they were but hey, the more the merrier right. "Suppose it's best to take all the help we can get." Just another stranger to work around.
Entering the last door Shi had almost no idea what he was looking at, seemed to be the teleporting room, there was the Leomon that would be joining them. They did seem to be punching in some long code sequence so Shi wasn't going to bother them, until he addressed that they shouldn't mess this up. "We don't mess up." Shi said simply as he backed away for a small bit, giving himself and the twins room. "You two ready?" Shi asked as he grabbed his digivice from his pocket.
"Like always, lets do this." Yuudai responded with a grin and a ready to fight stance.
"Not really but it doesn't seem like the time to second guess ourselves huh?' Yasuo wasn't sure about all this but he still seemed calm and ready.
"Alright, Biomerge. Activate." Once Shi said those words he would quickly vanish in a quick flash of light, once gone the two Agumon that were standing there before would quickly be replaced by a VictoryGreymon and a ShineGreymon Burst mode, both ready and able.

Well, someone falling in combat was always both a possibility and a risk regardless of context, so that much was expected. Still, it was a concern Carlos kept all too present in the back of his mind. Sure, biomerging somewhat gave him more safety, but doing so would cut the amount of players in their team somewhat. Perhaps it was better for him to save that possibility for when he really needed it.
Syre was nice enough to recap the attack plan. It was a simple enough plan indeed, but really that's all they needed. Their mission was already pretty straightforward as it was, the only thing making this difficult was just...how stacked the chips were against them, really. But other than that? No real objection from the trio, they were ready to go along with the plan and follow it to the end. Though that said they could only wonder what Malganoth's part into said plan would be seeing how he was coming along but they would probably find out soon enough. Hopefully.
As for Shi's attempted reassurance? Carlos would simply give a shrug, though followed with a nod. "Eh, fair enough." They had been offered this mission for a reason after all, if their employers thought they were capable enough, what reason did he have to disagree?
After taking the chip carrying the Chalice AI and carefully storing it in a safe place within his digivice, Carlos turned to face and return Syre's thumbs up, as did the other two mons, with Dio adding with a grin,
"You better come back in one piece, aight hot head?"
As soon as they all stepped into the teleport room everyone else seemed to be taking this last moment to prepare and reach their super megas now. Carlos couldn't help but smile with a hint of happiness as he saw his "niece" Syre transform into what could only be described as a knight in shining armor. It was true what they said, kids grew up fast.
Much to his surprise, when it came Shi's turn to digivolve his partners, the other human would dissapear in a flash and yet his partners wouldn't converge into a single entity, instead digivolving yet staying apart. It was like Shi had split himself evenly between the two agumons which if that was the case brought...one too many perhaps overly deep questions to Carlos' mind.
"Huh, didn't know it could work that way..." He mused to himself, before quickly turning his attention back to his own digivice before his mind could wander and really ponder the existential ramifications Shi's biomerge gave him. He took out his own digivice and in a quick burst of energy the small frames of his partners would be no more, in their place instead a Belphemon X and Megidramon stood. All the while Carlos could only thank whoever designed this room to have just enough space to fit so many super megas within it. "Ready when you are."
"Let's go."

Well... it appeared that things were finally settled. As always, the banter that transpired, even if it somewhat pertained to the mission at hand, was of little concern to Cion. Instead, she internalized her imposed purpose, which was essentially to safeguard the, at least in regards to appearances, charmingly edgy trio. This was of course fine by her! As long as she could contribute to removing their target from the picture for good, she was game for anything. She had not jumped into the fray since quite some time anyway, so why start sulking now? Besides, Dio was a delightful rascal she gladly assisted.
To lost in her thought was the silver fennec, even going so far as to ignore the vocalized gravitas of their undertaking, that Syre had caught her by surprise. A gentle touch, then an embrace and pleasant caresses - such was the marvelous way of the onyx felidae. Naturally, the unassuming fox did not resist this tiny assault. Rather, she returned it by gently nuzzling the comely feline's tip of the snout. It was clear what they were fighting for, which was infinitely more personal than yet again saving the digital realm.
Their future.
"I know and I will." She replied with the tiniest of smirks and a hushed chuckle. This signature poise of hers was not to mask uncertainty. No - she was confident that she would keep the dorks safe without any trouble. After all, support was the crux of her current form, alongside attrition. Hence she eventually released her grip on the BlackGatomon, but not before booping her snoot. "See ya there, hun" She likewise wished her the best of success.
And once they were done, going on a holiday seemed like a well-deserved reward. Maybe Rosewood for relaxation? Or beholding the architecture of Luminas? Questions for later. First, they had a sad sack to deal with.

”Sounds about as good as any in terms of plans. Just… be careful all right? He’s not going to go easily or quietly and his guards are probably in the same boat.”Chalice folded her arms and watched her AI counterpart be taken by Carlos. She’d adjust a little bit and the AI would snort as she projected herself from the screen of the device. Little cramped in here but that’s what you’d expect from a Twin user’s device I suppose. Just don’t drop me okay?It was more a tease than anything else; a bit of levity in the situation that she seemed fairly detached from. Chalice herself was glad that everyone seemed to be on the same page from top to bottom. Even someone that hadn’t much in the way of information regarding everything else. ”Give em a good One two for me will yah?”
Malganoth was fairly pleased with the various reactions that he got. From silence to re-assurance to flat out just ignoring him. He was all right with most of this group; some of them he had never seen before and well… they at least would be working with him in the same regard that he would be with them. He eventually finished punching in the massive string of numbers; growling a little bit and letting his own form take on the light of digivolution. A Heavy leomon quickly taking the place of the grizzled director. His free hand would set itself amidst the buttons and he’d punch in a somewhat lower sequence of numbers. ”I overheard your plan over chalice’s coms. When we land I’ll break the doors open to the elevator and cover your backs while you go down. I won’t follow immediately and keep them off of your backs as long as I can.”He’d wait for everyone to get onto the pad before punching a few more buttons. Following suit himself as the countdown for the teleporter began. It was about thirty seconds of a bunch of them just standing on the pad in what amounted to silence while the charging process eventually kicked off. To everyone it would feel like they were being ripped apart atom by atom, line by line, code by code. And pieced back together in an equally as ugly fashion. Maybe for the first second or two they wouldn’t be able to see anything due to the nature of the strong teleporter…
But what they were gifted with viewing was strange. Like there was just a regular office building in a regular part of some odd underground space. Plenty of chairs, desks, kiosks and the like that you would expect from the human world. There was even some printers marked with the ‘out of order’ sign on them in angry red letters. There was no power, dead silence and the strange hum of a distant power. So far underneath them but oddly overwhelming. Like a big hand was being pressed onto each one of their heads. It was most direct to the human counterparts; and the human fused mons than to the two solo’s. Instead… They’d get the sensation of something that was all around them. Groggy and uncertain. Unaware for all of a blissful moment. But malganoth seemed not to care about any of the surroundings. His eyes looking for the elevator and once finding it? His arm would piston forward and try to punch through. But instead of doing so it just sank in further and further. Like you’d expect from punching something incredibly fat or fleshy. Growling he’d pull back and try again only to the same effect. But instead of just… a simple reaction the whole environment shuddered and a single eye slowly opened next to where the heavy leomon had punched near. ”That wasn’t very nice of you.”The voice sounded like it was all around them; like there was multiple voices in fact. A few more eyes opened up. Some on the ceiling. Some on the walls. Even one on the out of order printer. Though that one seemed really bored compared to the others. And all of these eyes shared the same sort of design. One that several of the group would be innately familiar with. That of a meicrackmon. One of the voices seemed to yawn and it’d address the group. Malganoth wouldn’t stop trying to break open the elevator. Even going so far as to try to pull the ‘flesh’ aside for the others to no avail. He’d growl and look back; a flicker of doubt on his face. ”Did uncle orion say you could come here? He didn’t say anyone could. Well not that he talks much anyways. Well. He did tell me to take care of anyone that came here. So I guess I have to take care of you all?”Some more eyes opened up and it wouldn’t take long. Maybe about another thirty seconds or so. To anyone that was standing on the ground or even floating a bit above it they would find hands of a very familiar design slowly starting to snake out of the ground. Trying to pull them down. Trying to grasp them. Trying to pull them into the floor underneath them. ”Well… he did say I could eat. Or at least implied. Are you tasty? Is it… okay to eat you? Mm. Though maybe it doesn't matter that I ask cause you're not who I have to get permission from...”

That had certainly been an unpleasant method of teleportation. Was the technology the government of Terminus had at their disposal simply outdated, or was such an invasive procedure required for the whole group to breach the subterranean compound? Regardless of the answer, Cion undoubtedly favored the pocket-sized device that her dearly beloved owned. But as they arrived in the seemingly ordinary office space, she quickly cast these thoughts aside to focus on the mission at hand. Once their leonine ally would break through the gates of the elevator havoc was bound to be unleashed. She had to be at the top of her game. Unfortunately, nobody was quick enough to act on the instinctual sense of alertness that these confines imposed. With her aureate eyes narrowed and paws held behind her hip, the silver fennec calmly observed what transpired all around her. With the punches rendered ineffective, she wondered where in the digital realm they actually were. Was this an illusion, a hallucination, a parallel dimension... or was this facility perhaps partially an organism? Whatever the truth was, the dozens of eyelids manifesting and opening were obviously cause for concern. They resembled those of a Meicrackmon. Was this maybe based on Syre's sister? "Credit where it's due... this is definitely the best D-Reaper cosplay I've seen as of yet." She quipped, though with a firm tone to her dulcet voice and a stern gaze adorning her petite face. Slowly tilting her head back and forth to monitor her surroundings, she listened to what this well-nigh eldritch abomination desired to vocalize. It was odd that she called Orion uncle. Even more bizarre were its phlegm and shiftlessness. It reminded the unassuming fox of a toddler that barely grasped what its parents wanted and for what reason. Was this possibly precisely the case? Regrettably, it seemed there was no way in reasoning with it, and neither would she indulge in grotesque and confused cravings. A fistful of pain was the only nosh she was willing to offer, much less herself. To do so, Cion believed that RPG logic had to be applied. "If bludgeoning damage does not function, try slashing and piercing." She suggested, mostly directed at Malganoth, before spreading her arm and snapping her finger. It was her duty to keep her companions safe, and she would not accept failure, especially at the beginning. With her right side assuming the plumage of an azure phoenix, a maelstrom of razor-sharp feathers was summoned - encircling the squad with tremendous, nearly imperceptible velocity. Yet its purpose was not to harm them, but the fiend that surrounded them. Any approaching limb or stationary appendage, wall, floor, ceiling, piece of furniture... it mattered little to the restrained Arniomon as she additionally launched ethereal javelins at them. She took these pangs of hunger very seriously. "Your first lesson pertaining to will, guardian. You are not the only one who has it." This room felt wrong.
Perhaps, at first, it was simply the result of recovering from that odd form of teleportation, forced onto the first level of the facility - but Syre's dread was soon proven right, as the room took a more grotesque shape around them. The enemy itself seemed 'invisible', hidden into the walls and furniture of this faux-office - but it was ever present. The eyes were around them, peering from all angles, and hands threatened to pull them under. In response?
Syre grasped right onto the scruff of Carlos' shirt, and hoisted him right onto her back. Perhaps six month or a year prior, the Gallantmon would have been frozen at the situation, as she was when discovering the origin of the crystal Digimon. Sure, this grotesque opponent was disturbing, especially in the innocent way the walls spoke.
"Our plan hasn't changed." Syre's words cut low, as she would turn to face those elevator doors - and, if able, would use her shield arm to rip Malganoth away from the wall with a tearing pull, to hold him underneath her arm like a football. Even as she did this, she prepared her attack, several spheres of energy appearing around the knight.
Some were blue, radiating an icy aura. Some were red, blazing-hot.
And they were all directed towards the elevator wall, a powerful barrage of energy-based attacks primed to blast right through. As far as Syre could tell, the entire wall, this entire room, represented their opponent - and represented exposed, sensitive flesh. Given that, as each icy blast landed right next to each scorching shot?
The result would be incredibly painful to their opponent, perhaps throwing this 'Mei' into disarray. Whatever mercy Syre had left had gone right out the window with this foe.
Orion could not be forgiven.
Orion had to die.
Dragon Storm (0/4) Syre calls to her roots as a gunslinger, and several red-or-blue bullets appear around her, before being forced out in one direction in a heavy barrage. Deals ice and fire damage on hit, with increased pain due to the variance in temperature. Additionally, due to the opposing elements and the irregular nature in which the attack hits, this technique deals triple damage against conjured shields (but not active defenses). Four Post Cooldown

The teleportation was rough, and while the trio felt it make a number on their head space for a moment, Carlos was obviously the one hit the hardest, feeling a light wave of nausea course through his entire being as he leaned against Gio for a moment. Whatever that teleporter was made off, it clearly wasn't nearly as gentle or efficient as any digivice he had used. Once that passed however he finally gave himself a moment to look around. Indeed the inside of the base so far was...rather underwhelming. Nothing but an office complex so far, but he knew to expect the worst to come sooner rather than later.
Oh how right he was. It all started simple, the leomon unable to punch through the elevator doors as if the wall were made of fleshy jelly. Then came the voice(s?), and the eyes. Both human and twins froze for a moment, completely taken aback by the nightmare scenario they were now thrown into. The walls, the room itself was alive. And it was hungry.
As stomach churning as this all was, Carlos didn't get to do or say much about it, as he thankfully found himself quickly lifted up by his niece with ease. Just in time to be moved away from the hands reaching from the ground, followed by Cion creating a sort of feather barrier around the group.
"T-thanks." He said somewhat meekly, still trying to process the fact that the their enemy seemed to be the entire freaking room, or something else trying to make it seem that way.
Dio was taking things about as well as the human was at first: the antibody infused belphemon shut his eyes close for a moment that felt like an eternity, the sickeningly childish and falsely sweet tone of it bringing back painful memories yet again. Of that accursed week of torment at the hands of what this creature might once had looked like, with the same disgustingly hungry tone he had been on the receiving end of years ago.
But this time was different. He wasn't about to let that fear return yet again. He was stronger now, and he had faced worse. He had healed from that day and come back stronger, and this thing as well as it's master would soon find out. He'd make sure of it.
"Not today." He stated in a low tone, blood red eyes open as the core in his chest glowed with a similar color, all the while a perfectly circular and flat sigil would appear in front of the demon. From his now red hot core a burst of energy would shoot out, crashing into the sigil and just as quickly dissapearing as if swallowed by a black hole, along side the sigil itself...only for said circle to reappear on the ceiling on the other side of the room. Then another on the wall, then another, and then one more. And from each of them burst forth a wave of red energy, blanketing almost the entire room like a fiery cluster of explosives.
As for Gio, he seemed less concerned about the entire situation, but rather eager that he finally got to fight something. He followed suit after Syre's own attack, aiming himself not at the room in general but rather the elevator doors. He swiped downwards with his large clawed hands, a ghastly shape of larger, spectral looking claws mimicking his motion a moment later and aiming to slash the elevator doors open in half. Or whatever was in place of said doors. Either or was fine.
Dio blasts the general area of the room with Blood Moon hoping to deal some damage, while Gio tries to cut open the door with Dark Rend
Blood Moon: A sigil appears in front of Dio as his digicore begins to charge itself with energy, before firing a single beam of energy into the sigil. A moment later four similar looking sigils appear above the enemy before raining down a red beam of energy each. Deals heavy damage. 3 post cooldown.
Dark Rend: Summons a giant energy claw that slashes in a downward motion upon the enemy, dealing heavy damage if it connects. Can be summoned anywhere within a range of 50 feet of Gio, but it must be done within his range of vision. 3 turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Blood Moon (0/3)
Dark Rend (0/3)

Well if there was anything that Shi and the twins were going to take from this whole situation is that teleporting really, really freggin sucked. Like super bad. Yuudai simply grit his teeth and bore it, after all there wasn't much he could complain about if this was the only way that they could get in. Yasuo didn't feel it all too much, maybe it was because of his higher defense in this form. Still not something he'd reccomend but he seemed to fair better then his brother while it happened. Shi was ultimately the most fine though, in this form the twins usually took the brunt of attacks and stuff, still tough 0 stars, wouldn't recommend this method of traveling. Once they got done with that though what awaited the trio was something that they hadn't expected, Yuudai had figured they'd have to instantly start moving but the scene before him was something else entirely. It was like something out of the human world strangely enough, normal. Too normal in fact. It was pretty evident with the weird feeling that pressed against the twins that this should be the right place, despite the feeling Yuudai and Yasuo, now combined with Shi's ability to think calmly pushed past this, ignoring the weight. As the Heavy Leomon started trying to punch the doors Yuudai held his sword up, something was definitely off that much was obvious to him and as that voice came out it just confirmed it. Eyes popping up everywhere at once, surrounding them. It was like something out of a nightmare or one of those stories on the internet. Shi cursed to himself, he should've figured this wouldn't be easy. If Yasuo was alone he could've simply used final burst and probably clear the room, sadly though with so many nearby he would have to resort to something else. Cion already seemed to take care of the defenses so Yasuo decided to focus on attacking instead. Holding his flaming sword up high he sliced the air and simply shouted. " Torrid Blaster" As he said that several fireballs flew from the flaming blade towards the walls, small explosion on contact blasting every part. Yuudai on the otherhand refrained from attacking. Holding his sword upward his eyes focused on the area around him, while the barrier was around them and he didn't doubt the one who cast it Yuudai figured he should at least be a bit more careful. If anything passed the feathers that flew around the party Yuudai would be there to slice it back down. Aside from that Yuudai couldn't attack yet, no his first attack had to be against something stronger or it'd be a wash.
B.A Yuudai Action: Yuudai hangs back with his blade, just in case anything gets past the ability Cion uses and to preserve his first impressions ability.
Active Passives: Overwhelming strength. 30% increase to offense.
Yasuo Action: Yasuo fires a torrid blaster, blanketing the area in flaming orbs.
Active Passives: Defender's Truth. 30% Increase to defense.
Current Cooldown's
Torrid Blaster 0/2

Malganoth let out a soft snort at the suggestion of trying slashing or piercing. He’d adjust and make ready to give the elevator another go before syre picked him up like a football. Practically tearing him away at the grasping hands around his ankles and legs.
”I’m not interested in learning how to fight what amounts to a confused guard-dog with stockholm syndrome. The door?”
Malganoth would look up to see the javelines hit the varied limbs. The meicrackmon’s entirety that was the room shivered and grumbled a bit. Like if one was to get hit by thorns. Even going so far as to plucking some of them out and looking at them. Even one of the heads that slowly pulled itself away from the mass went so far as to try to eat it with a limited amount of success.
However when Syre’s attack slammed home into the door the entire room shuddered and the mouths neares the impact gasped sharply. Pulling their flesh back from where she had attacked; there was obvious burn and freezing marks and everything inbetween. Malganoth glared up at syre who was now holding both him and that human that didn’t fuse with his mons.
”Guess they don’t like the heat.”
But then came something no one could expect; the attack that Dio made towards the rest of them. The various bursts of energy slamming into different areas of the meicrackmon. Each location was practically digitized on contact. Like the earlier abilities had done nothing but weaken the meicrackmon room up until this point.
Following Gio’s attack?
The door was then rent apart and there was a loud banging as it started to fall down the shaft. The sound was apparent for a few moments before they were lost due to how far they were falling. The elevator shaft was quite long after all!
With the last attack from Yasuo slamming into the wall the Meicrackmon room growled in anger, much of it’s form had been rent or torn apart from the various attacks and the whole room seemed to shudder as it tried to slowly pull itself over the areas that had been torn asunder.
”Thats no fair! Uncle Orion said there would only be three of you! Not five! And the little morsel in the Knights arms doesn’t even count for much! Maybe a snack. Can you leave him please?”
Like a child that didn’t understand it’s situation; her grasp wasn’t able to penetrate the maelstrom that cion had created. Shredding the hands that reached but… The regeneration that the monster seemed to have would just replace those hands much to its confusion. So it’d stare and wait for the answer...

Well... this had been easy as of yet. Almost surprisingly so, every action they had performed had succeeded spiffingly. Then again, their opponent was hardly an ordinary foe that could be calculated easily. It was some form of infantile abomination that compensated for its lack of understanding with unprecedented regenerative properties. Still, its ability to serve as a monstrous guard dog seemed lacking in the face of their combined, overwhelming might. Was violence even necessary? Difficult to say as Cion wondered if their current adversary was in a perpetual state of suffering or not. It appeared as such from the outside at least... However, this was neither the time nor place for pity and restraint. Sighing under her breath, the storm of rapid feathers would continue for a few more crucial moments, hopefully assuring that any attempts to assail them remained thwarted. Not seeing a point in answering the morbid question that was vocalized, she instead snapped her finger in a defiant display of confidence with a disapproving frown akin to that of a maternal figure adorning her muzzle. Continuing to bolster their defense, a thin yet potent layer of digital protection formed itself over herself and her adjacent allies - regardless of size and species. It was likely not needed, but any injuries and otherwise adverse effect that were avoidable she intended to avoid. That was her role as this team's White Mage after all, and it merely consumed a small amount of energy. Besides, her companions possessed sufficient force to deal with this harrowing chimera swiftly. No need for additional Javelins. Naturally, she would follow her allies' path, too.

Not everything had gone as expected, but the desired result was achieved: the door was torn open, and the 'conglomeration of Ultimates' could do little to halt their advance. With Carlos on her back and with Malganoth held under an arm, the Gallantmon would give the former a small nod.
"Anytime, uncle."
That aside, with the door burst open and with their foe temporarily stunned, Syre saw no better opportunity to make a break for it. Rather than risk passing Carlos along to ensure that they had their original teams, the Gallantmon made a call: "Dio, Gio, you're with me!"
That was all Syre said, before stepping right past the door, and falling into that elevator shaft. Well, not falling: Syre was able to fly in this form, swiftly floating down the one expected level, to the administrative floor. Perhaps they were being followed, perhaps not, but as soon as she would be level with the doors for the floor beneath them?
She'd tense her free fist, and simply try and smash her way through.

Truth be told Dio didn't expect neither his nor anyone's attack to really make a considerable dent on this nightmare of living flesh and data, yet it seemed even against such an illogical creature the power gap brought by Super Megas was just that steep. Even if it only seemed to be enough to keep it at bay for the moment rather than completely erasing it. A small victory but a victory nonetheless.
"No thanks, I'm taken!" Was all Carlos could muster up for a retort against the childish abomination, half still scared out of his wits, half being reassured enough by Syre's quick thinking to be able to laugh in the face of danger once again. Even if her following course of action, while logical, was almost as scary a prospect as staying with this thing.
Almost.
With only a quickly barked order the man found himself falling down the recently opened shaft, if only for a single terrifying moment before Syre slowed their descent. The twins followed suit, following close behind their niece, Dio's massive set of wings keeping him afloat while Gio's serpentine body coiled itself along the edges of the shaft walls, claws dug into the metallic surfaces to keep his massive body in place as he hung slightly back from the others, eyes darting back and forth between Syre's location and the floor they had just escaped from, ready to retaliate if that thing tried to follow after.

Huh, that was a lot easier then the twins expected it to be. Yuudai slowly let up from his stance swinging his sword in a large arc before placing it on his back. He kept one hand on the blade though just in case he needed to draw it quickly as he backed off towards the now open elevator door. Yasuo followed his brother, keeping his flaming sword and shield drawn, ready to dash in front of anyone he needed to just in case this thing decided to lunge after one of them.
They'd be some of last ones to go through the elevator door, backing off making sure not to take their eyes off the creature for even a second. "Nah can't have anyone, However there is something I can give you." The VictoryGreymon said with a smile, his brother knew exactly what he was about to do and swiftly pushed him into the Elevator door. "Yasuo what the heeeeeck." Yuudai shouted as he fell with Yasuo going right after him.
Both slowly floated downwards towards the level they needed to. 'You were going to flip them off weren't you Yuudai?" Shi asked from within the VictoryGreymon, while he couldn't be seen by anyone you could know for sure there was a scowl on his face. 'Yeah, of course. Something like that deserves a little something like that.' Yuudai said in his mind strictly to Shi.
'Please don't antagonize our enemies Yuudai, you can afford to be at least a bit serious here.' Yasuo chastised using his shared connection through Shi to talk to one another. Floating further down they decided to stay a bit upward while Syre checked on the door situation.
