The mass of meicrackmons huffed again; they seemed frustrated with how things were going. Unable to attack and unable to defend itself properly against these. A few eyes winked out of existence as they moved around. The others? Well. They were focused on the group. A few hands pressed against the barrier that cion had erected over her allies and with a grumble they’d pull back.
”You’re no fun. Maybe when it’s feeding time later Uncle can give me better prey…”
With everything going down the elevator the meicrackmon didn’t seem too keen on following. Even flinching a bit as the last person left her sight. She didn’t seem too thrilled with the idea of being punished for her failure but… Uncle orion was normally forgiving after promises!
With that fist smashing into one of the two doors it wasn’t hard for syre to practically cause the elevator doors on one side to shoot outwards with an incredible force. One of them crashing against something inert while the other traveled for a little bit longer until skidding to a halt.
The door slowly was pushed to one side by a rather beefy looking meicrackmon. A splice between it and another digimon. Mostly mechanical, Syre and Carlos’ group would recognize them as the inert guardians from the last group. The ones they were able to trick before but this time…
There was only one in the room that earlier they had detected four. Where had the others gone? Deeper? Earlier? Were they the ones that were feeding. With a marvelous growl it’d level the pair rapidmon-esq fire arms looking to pepper the lot of them with some low impact sort of shots!
Log: -With the group making it’s escape from the first instance they instead stumble on a single individual in it’s own room. In a location that previously had scanned as four megas! Instead there seems to be a single ultimate all on it’s own. Or what would pass for an ultimate in this place...

That thing, if it was capable of doing so, was not willing to pursue them - at least for now. Ultimately, that was just fine by Cion, though she had to admit that wasting energy and time management on shields that were not needed was vexing to her. She was a graceful lady of poise who advocated maximum efficiency, hence such misjudgments were well-nigh a vice to her. But there was no point in sulking and losing herself in her own thoughts. They had to press on and bring a conclusion to this misorder, one way or another. Fortunately, leastwise from a certain perspective, the silver fennec got the chance to recoup her previous mistake. For a moment, she wondered what Orion's obsession with this particular feline species was, but at the end of the day it did not matter. Since she was the last to venture through the elevator shaft, she flash-stepped out of existence only to reappear in an aureate gleam in front of her allies within the blink of an eye. Stretching out her arm towards the mechanized Meicrackmon, she showed her open palm as a prismatic, semi-spherical force field manifested itself in front of her. This had to suffice to undo the attack and grant her companions a few seconds to prepare their next moves. If they had solely been digimons she would not have bothered to spend power, but with a fragile human and likely conniving aces up their enemy's sleeve she had no intention of risking anything or anyone. Naturally, she kept her composure, calmly gazing at the current obstacle with a neutral expression and the other paw resting behind her back.

Nice and easy.
With the door ripped away, Syre took quick stock of the area, as well as the one target that stood in their way? This was different than what given in the data, but Syre didn't want to waste a lot of time. She'd crouch down, setting down Malganoth to the side and Carlos next to his partners, before raising her shield towards the MeiCrackmon.
Before adjusting her aim towards the offices on the left.
Syre wasn't interested in fighting one target: she had Carlos at her back to take that initiative. Instead, she'd let her shield become enveloped in a white glow. Of course, this was Syre's plan from the start:
...but if we go to the second layer as quickly as we can, and force the issue by immediately attacking the administrative rooms, we can force the twelve megas into a defensive stance. Syre meant it. Either the MeiCrackmon would be forced to defend, or Syre would rend half of the administrative offices in one blow. "Begone!" At once, she let out her 'Justice Shield', a powerful straight-line beam of destructive energy, intent on ripping right through the first office, through the wall, and into the second.
And into the third, then the fourth... and perhaps several feet of rock past even that!
Dragon Storm: 2/4 Justice Shield: 0/3 Justice ShieldA powerful attack, primed from a still position. Syre holds up her shield, the metal disc gaining a radiant glow, before letting out a massive beam of arcane energy in one direction. Massively destructive, even at extreme range, though it is limited to the direction the shield is facing - and the aim can't be changed once the attack starts. Three post cooldown.

Well at least whatever the hell that thing was didn't seem too keen on following the group, if Yuudai had gone through with his plan of flipping it off maybe that might be different but better safe then sorry as they always say. The door was opened pretty easily too, after all probably wasn't made with the idea of a Super Mega level digimon punching through it. The twins slowly flew down to the bottom of the elevator shaft as the others went through the door, what seemed to awaits them was another lovely creation made by what Shi could only assume was a horror game expert, fun times. " Only one? Yuudai Stay on Guard. Yasuo, torch the place." Shi gave the two orders which both twins seemed to take to very fast. Yuudai holding his large sword upward scanning the area around them for any digimon that might try and blindside them, making sure that nothing could try and attack either Syre or Yasuo who just walked up front next to them. Yasuo seemed to have a similar idea, making sure that no allies were in front of him the ShineGreymon BM held his hand upward towards the digimon his flaming sword seemed to vanish as a massive aura of flame built up in his palm. " Flames of destruction." He said calmly as from where he was standing a massive wall of fire would erupt forward throughout the entire room, well at least 40 feet in front and around him with a blazing inferno. Collateral damage be damned he was setting this thing ablaze!
Yasuo B.A: Yasuo sets everything on fire, he casts fuck everything in that direction in particular! Makes sure not to hit allies tho.
Move used: Flames of destruction: Harnesses the power of fire to create a massive wave of flames that shoot forward at 30 feet long and extend to 40 feet in front of him. 2 post cool down.
Current Cooldown: Flames of Destruction 0/2
Torrid Blaster 2/2 Yuudai B.A: Yuudai keeps watch just in case anyone gets a wise idea or something.

Well, out of the pan and into the fire seemed like a good way to describe the group's current predicament. Or at least out of a pan and into a different colored pan. Despite having succesfully escaped the it from the other floor, they now came face to face with another of Orion's twisted creations, one considerably less mangled than the last but one the trio were somewhat familiar with. A pang of guilt ran through Carlos' as he was set back down by Syre. Could this Mei had been spared had they actually gotten out of their way to do something about them during their last incursion all those months ago? Was that even a realistic option to consider? In the end it's not like it mattered much, the creature was still blocking their path and fully willing to pepper them full of holes if they didn't do something. And something they did, Cion once again proving to be a reliable support with her shielding while Syre and Yasuo let loose with some attacks of their own. Carlos didn't even need to utter a single thing before Dio already followed suit after his teammates, while Gio continued to stand back and keep himself out of the way of their attacks in case someone or someone else tried to get a sneak attack on them from behind. If the last room was of any indication, they couldn't even fully trust the very walls surrounding them. "We've got no time for this." Dio snarled, his clenched fist punching not the air but rather into the air, the frail veil of their digital reality giving way to his clawed hand as it dissapeared into somewhere beyond. Dio pulled his arm back from this hole into nowhere however, extracting with it a large blade that was less a sword, more a slab of red hot metal on a black hilt. He spun around in one swift motion, slashing the air in front of him in a horizontal fashion, a torrent of fire being thrown forth intent on burning everything in it's wake that might had somehow escaped both Syre's and Yasuo's own attack, that twisted amalgamation in front of them included. Fire plus even more fire could only be a winning combo, right? Dio summons forth a Chaos Zweihander and aids in the reckless arson being committed by Yasuo and Syre, while Gio waits behind while keeping watch.
Chaos Zweihander: Dio opens a small, fiery portal and reaches his hand inside it, retrieving from within it t a large greatsword. The sword can either be used to slash at the enemy or fire a wave of flames from a distance. Both deal the same amount of heavy damage, and the sword will disappear after three attacks have been used. 5 posts cooldown.

Chaos Zweihander: Attacks remaining (2)
Cooldowns: Blood Moon (2/3)

The creature in front of them was next to nothing; so much so that she didn’t even seem to register as a blip on the radar. Huffing in irritation the cat was about to let loose another hail of attacks but… The first attack that was launched towards her and the office? She’d nimbly hop out of the way. Growling in frustration; she may have been just an ultimate but she was at least smart enough to move out of the way.
But the second and third attacks while weren’t really directed completely at her were wide enough where she was caught by one. Making her tumble backwards… and the second? And third?
There was hardly a spot on the floor where she had been. The offices were in ruin from what all could see for the moment. Syre’s shield had burned straight into the ‘bedrock’ of the area. It wasn’t difficult to tell that now the fires were raging all over the darned place on this half of the elevators. The split didn’t really happen and there was that strange sensation of…
Well it couldn’t be that easy right? There had to be something; some contingency… But the fires burned, nothing changed. The mei remained gone and there was just that odd silence and smell of burning from how everything had been handled. Three super megas unleashing their powers was… more than sufficient.
But what lay behind them? In the other half of things?

This was not a mission of tactical manoeuvring... this was pure carnage. Fortunately Cion, who was not at the receiving end for once, found great satisfaction in this trivial massacre. Truth be told, it seemed they were pointlessly wasting resources for adversaries that simply did not pose a threat to them. Perhaps she did not even have to defend her allies from the pitiful attacks that had been thrown at them. Then again, the combat thus far had amounted to merely a few second. If this was all what Orion was capable of, or if this was some form of intentional delay, it failed hard. As the pleasantly warm fires that scorched the steel and technology around them raged on, the silver fennec sighed inaudibly and rested her folded hands behind her back. It was not here role to lead this undertaking, nor did she have the intention to take leadership. It was her purpose to protect her comrades, which was best done from the backdrop. Besides, it made beholding Syre's progress infinitely easier. It was delightful to see her wield the magnificent power she had at her disposal, though it was still... raw and undefined. A little bit of precision and grace would not go amiss, but that was a matter for another day. "Shall we?"

Pure, unadulterated carnage.
Their target wasn't the Mei, of course, but the poor ultimate was collateral. Their target was the office, Orion's records and his databases - and Syre cared not for any semblance of preservation for this place. And with this half 'scorched', there was only one more 'half' to consider - but seeing that they had a free moment, Syre spoke off the cuff.
"Everyone, get off the ground. Malganoth, Carlos, get on the back of someone who can." Syre couldn't ready another Justice Shield so soon after the last, but she could at least lead the charge for the next strategy. Syre had no intention of exploring the other half of the offices.
This idea was quicker: a powerful, azure fireball appeared over her free hand. "Everyone. Wherever this lands, fire a strong, focused shot at that area. We're blowing straight through to the basement." And with that, Syre winded back her arm, and threw the attack forward - her 'Cryogenic Destroyer' sinking into the base of the floor, right at the separating wall.
Right where Syre guessed that there would be a support beam. Her attack alone, though destructive, might not be enough alone - but with everyone?
Oh, this was going to be interesting.
Dragon Storm: 3/4 Justice Shield: 1/3 Cryogenic Destroyer: 0/2 Cryogenic DestroyerAn advancement off of 'Cryogenic Blast', the attack still fires as a ball-shaped projectile. Thrown from her shield hand, this can reach a maximum of five hundred feet, exploding a hundred feet around the point of contact. In addition to the opponent taking largely fire damage, those affected feel heightened pain, due to the senses of 'hot' and 'cold' being stressed at the same time. Two Post Cooldown

Things were going pretty smoothly, they took out the digimon with little to no effort with their combined assault, it was going pretty easy. Too easy for the tamers liking. Something felt off about this whole situation to Shi. Yasuo after finishing his attack noticed the wavering emotion and decided to press the Tamer on it. 'What's wrong Shi?' The ShineGreymon questioned in his own head, no one but Shi would be able to hear him though.
'I just don't like the look of this, only one guard for the elevator? So far it feels like things are going a little too smoothly for my liking. The Wall of flesh back there was a curveball but even still they only barely tried to follow us down here. Yasuo, Yuudai make sure you stay on guard.' Maybe he was just being paranoid, truthfully he hoped he was just being paranoid but something about this didn't sit well with the teen.
Though it would seem their associates had a plan going forward, telling everyone to get off the ground. Yuudai and Yasuo did so flying slightly upward wondering just what they were planning on doing. Which when revealed did spark a smile from the VictoryGreymon. "Alright then, blast a hole straight on through. Lets do it." Yuudai seemed to like the idea, though Yasuo seemed a bit hesitate about it.
Overall though it's not like trying to do so would really harm anything. With that in mind After Syre made their move Yasuo would follow it up with a torrid of fireballs focused on that point. Meanwhile Yuudai would wait for everyone to finish firing and if it still wasn't gone he'd leap up and stab it with a powerful sword slash.
Yasuo B.A: Yasuo hesitantly fires a torrid blaster at the point Syre marked.
Active Passive: Defender's Truth: Yasuo hates to fight, unlike his brother he sees no point in it. However for those he loves he will fight, becoming the wall, a guardian to defend what he loves. Grants a natural 30% increase to defense.
Move used: Torrid blaster: Shoots 20 small fireballs at a rapid pace towards enemies that explode on contact. 2 post cool down.
Current Cooldowns:
Flames of destruction 1/2
Torrid Blaster 0/2
Yuudai B.A: Yuudai is fully into the idea of blasting his way down and will attack after everyone else fires off their attacks.
Active Passive: Overwhelming Force: Yuudai has spent his whole life training, working hard to gain power in order to defend those he cares about, Grants a natural 30% increase to attack strength.

Momentary guilt over how utterly they had destroyed that last cat aside, there was something else that was bugging Carlos ever since they step foot into the base. A gnawing feeling of uncertainty that perhaps they might not be as ready as they thought for what was ahead. The fact everything so far was offering little resistance was of equally little solace for him. Sure enough, seeing Shi voicing feelings that echoed his own, Carlos added, "He has a point...what if it's a trap?""A base with traps prepared in case of intruders? Perish the thought." Dio snorted, sarcasm dripping from his tone as he lifted the man up and carefully placed him on his back at the behest of Syre while taking off from the ground alongside his brother. As right as either of the humans probably were, there was no point in stopping right now. Every second they didn't press on was another Orion could be using to prepare an even nastier surprise for them. With that said Dio contributed to the destruction of the floor with another well placed fiery wave of his sword, while Gio moved alongside Yuudai as he too lunged for the floor, his body now turned into a raw crackle of electrical power as he slammed against the ground almost as if all too eager to just get to a worth while foe. Surely this would be enough punishment for them to push through.
Serpent’s Infernal Rapture: With a crackle of lighting Gio’s entire body becomes a streak of electricity for a brief time as he charges head first into an enemy. Deals medium damage, 2 posts cooldown.

Cooldowns: Blood Moon (3/3)
