World Tour C: Is It Hot In Here, Or Ice It Just Me?

Despite Iceland’s reputation for being ironically green compared to its sister island, this region was nevertheless chilly even in summer. On the particular day that digital world-esque activity was being investigated here, the day’s high was still below freezing at negative six degrees celsius, and that was at the low elevation at which a temporary digiport dropped Shi. He could tell from here that the elevation could get much, much higher, as he would specifically find himself at the base of a massive mountain. If he was looking for green, he wasn’t going to see much of it. Vatnajökull was an ice cap, meaning the very ground he stood on was ice and so was most of the ground around him as well. Everything that wasn’t ice was black volcanic rock with nary a speck of green to be seen. The unstable nature of the ground beneath his feet was clear to Shi as soon as he put his feet on the ground. The earth was trembling beneath him. No, it wasn’t going to affect his balance, but it was as if a loud and bass-heavy speaker was pulsing at over a thousand beats per minute. That feeling lasted for only half a minute or so, but after a rest period about that long the dim rumbling started right back up again. Something beneath the ground was restless. It was quite a dreary day on which Shi would arrive in this place; besides being chilly, it was thickly overcast as far as his eyes could see. If he was looking for civilization, he wasn’t going to get much out here; his digiport dropped him seemingly in the middle of nowhere. This place was too hostile for people to live long-term. It was going to be hard to find a portal around here if it was hard just to get around.

Shi had made sure to tell his parents that he was going pretty much across the world to a place he's never been to in order to find a portal to the digital world that he thinks might be inside a volcano, apparently this was fine so long as he was home in time to take his sister to her friends place. Dropping in through the temporary digital portal Shi was surprised to find the ground under him to be as unstable as it was, requiring a moment to get his proper footing. That's when he noticed just how cold the place was, being in just his usual outfit he wasn't ready for this type of cold. Though that wasn't accounting for the tools he had on hand, with one swift motion he clipped the EV suit he had and instantly felt everything go normal.
Though one thing that wasn't normal was the ground shifting below him, it was loud and very annoying but it didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Wondering if that regularly happened around here Shi reached into his pocket and pulled out his digivice, with the V-pet function he saw Yuudai and Yasuo within the tiny screen bouncing up and down. Shi pondered for a moment if he should get them out so they could help him look but even though there didn't seem to be anyone he didn't want to risk them being seen.
Checking around Shi noticed just how low he in elevation, it was probably gonna suck but he didn't really have much choice. Finding the portal was gonna be a pain, though knowing his luck it was probably further up the mountain. With his eyes closed slightly he simply gave a small nod to himself before he started his trek up the mountain, best case scenario he'd find the portal up there, worst case scenario he'd at least be able to get a lay of the land. Part of him wanted to know what was going on underground but he didn't see anyway to get down there that wouldn't require using Yuudai and Yasuo.

Shi had a quick and effective solution for the cold. A good thing, too: without one, there was every chance it would take its toll on him over time. As it was, this temperature wasn't extreme enough that it couldn't be overcome with an environment suit.
Shi was apparently undaunted by the journey from the base of a 370-meter mountain - rather short by mountain standards, but nevertheless it was a mountain. Lucky for him it was a reasonably gentle slope at the base, but looking up that wasn't going to last for long. The farther up the young man's chosen path went, the more that the slope curved upward. If this really was a volcano like Shi suspected, it had to be one of those tall and slender ones - a cinder cone, if he had paid attention in geology class. Besides the slope, the rocky terrain didn't last the whole way up either. It wouldn't be long before the rocks under Shi's shoes had some ice chunks between them until eventually he would be trying to scale a steep ice cap.
That pulsing under Shi's feet continued, beating to a rhythm as if it were the heartbeat of the earth itself. The tremors still posed no threat to his balance, but the Tamer might have been able to catch out the corner of his eye that a cluster of pebbles might shift or just vibrate in place. In fact, in such a geologically active spot such as this, not all of the ground under Shi's feet was stable. There was more than one instance when he misjudged a patch of rock's stability, at which point under his weight it might have sunk, or slid out from under him. At this point it was as if the mountain itself was out to get him.
That idea was brought home when Shi first reached an apparent dead end. The most direct route up from his position at about the 75-meter mark was a near-vertical cliff that extended up about fifteen meters... or, about five stories. There were no obvious alternatives to this obstacle, though it was always an option to drop and take a long circle around to try and find one. Otherwise the only path to the peak was going to take a feat of athleticism... and luck, if past progress was any indication. A perceptive eye might have seen a viable set of rocky handholds for a human to climb that high by themselves, but could Shi trust that it was stable and strong enough to get him there? Could he trust the same of his own body? It looked more like the sort of sheer wall a professional climber wouldn't want to attempt without special equipment.
Before Shi could commit to a route, a particularly strong tremble from the earth sent a sheet of marble-sized rocks a while to his right tumbling down the slope. They were not directly in his path, fortunately, but it seemed like an escalation that this much earth moved this time.
It was just after that when the young man's digivice would have beeped and switched off of whatever screen it was at the time to instead display... well, it wasn't particularly detailed, but the little black dots on an otherwise blank screen had to mean something. One dot was constantly in the center of the screen and not moving, but as if by gyroscopic technology the other ones would circle around that middle dot if Shi changed which way his digivice was facing in space. It was like a compass, only where was it pointing him? Not north; that much was clear by the position of the sun and the other two dots. Neither dot was very far from the middle one on the X-axis, but the Y was another story. One red dot was far above the black center, and a second red dot seemed to be far below if Shi was reading this right. In addition, a singular purple dot was even farther below the lowest red blotch.
The digivice have Shi no more clues than that what exactly it was detecting or trying to tell Shi, but it was certainly onto something.

Walking up this mountain didn't seem so bad to him, he had heard about how hard stuff like this could be but this was a pretty easy incline. Walking around the digital world he definitely had enough stamina for something like this. Then the mountain started to get a bit steeper, then also a bit steeper, still Shi decided to press on since there wasn't really another way he could probably go. There was a name for something like this that came to the teens mind, some sort of mountain or something from an old class of his. Since he had nothing better to do he tried to think of the name but he was just drawing blanks at the moment.
The tremors didn't stop even this far up, with became more and more concerning as he kept moving, glancing around he thought he noticed some smaller rocks moving along with the tremors, were they getting more intense? That concerning thought was in his mind now, leaving him to be unfocused on the road ahead as his foot slipped on a bit of ice he hadn't noticed, tumbling forward Shi hit the ground, not hard but enough to leave him smarting for a bit. "Tch, dang it." Shi slowly got up rubbing his head and making sure he wasn't hurt, luckily he was the only one here or that'd be a bit embarrassing.
Eventually though he came to an dead end, a large wall of rock and pain, looking up he couldn't even see the top of it from where he was standing. Walking a bit forward he investigated the wall itself, there did seem to be a few bits of rock that he could grab onto. Though from where he was standing he had no idea if there were more up above that as well. In the back of his mind he thought about using Yuudai and Yasuo to just fly him to the top, they could clear it no problem.
Looking at his digivice though he paused for a moment, hand hovering over the release button.... No, he couldn't just keep relying on them. This was Shi's world, he had to show that he can handle it. Though while he was lost in thought for a moment a larger tremor seemed to of knocked some rocks away from his right, backing off a bit just in case the pit in his stomach simply grew as things seemed to be getting worse before they'd get better.
That's when he noticed his digivice still in his hand change screens, it wasn't a screen he had seen before. Was this because of the email? Checking it out for a moment, moving the digivice around it seemed to be a compass of some sorts. The middle dot seemed to not move, the others did though as Shi moved the device around. Was the middle dot supposed to be Shi? That'd make sense considering it wasn't moving on the screen, One above and one below.
Shi looked up in the sky, he had no idea what the red dot above could be but if there was one below the ground... Maybe it was causing the tremors? That purple dot even further below worried him also. Yuudai and Yasuo would be able to check it out once Shi got further up, for now though he needed to make it up there to begin with. Making sure he was close to the wall Shi reached into his pocket and pulled out a small Anti-gravity device and attached it to his wrist. Fiddling with it for a moment Shi slowly started rising from the ground he was standing on.
Going up to the max of 15 feet he wasn't even close to clearing the large wall, but that's when his second item would come into play, grabbing the grapple gun he still had on hand Shi aimed upward towards the top of the cliff and fired, he missed once or twice but managed to latch onto the ledge, tugging at the cord to make sure it'd hold him Shi started to retract the line and start moving upward, keeping the Anti-gravity device on just in case something went wrong so it'd stop him from falling.

Shi's grappling hook solved his problem, and his prudence in how he used it might have saved his life. After giving the cable a strong pull, he knew he could be confident that it was safe to rope his way up that incline. The rope was no replacement for upper body strength, however. It still took some of that for Shi to hoist himself up over the actual ledge he was meaning to reach, this height being too much for the anti gravity device to help. But from this secure position and with the will he was showing, he was likely to make it where he wanted to be.
No one could accuse Shi of coming unprepared. His combination with the grapple gun and the anti-gravity device practically had him flying up this mountain. 370 meters was a distance that a human could walk in just a few minutes, but it was much harder on the human body to go up. As he rapidly gained altitude, there was every chance Shi would start feeling it by now. The incline kept steepening, requiring more frequent use of the grapple gun, forcing Shi to struggle against gravity for much of his journey. However, it could have been worse; the EV suit Shi employed was protecting him from the sheer cold that was sufficient to maintain the giant ice cap he was scaling, and in addition it maintained a constant oxygenation of the air even though it should have felt a little bit thinner by now. The young man knew it, too. The cold wasn't a danger to him thanks to the suit, but no doubt he still felt that it was otherwise dangerously cold up here.
If he couldn't feel it, Shi could see it. The ground beneath his feet was absolutely untrustworthy, and not just because it the seismic activity had built to feel like a steady 3.0 earthquake. Balance was the name of the game now, and the fact that there was nothing to stand on but ice was extremely unhelpful. Shi was so close, so close! His hook was stuck fast in a chunk of ice a hundred feet up, something Shi already demonstrated he'd have the prudence to check was absolutely secure before trusting it. It should have been the final major obstacle between himself and the summit. This time, evidence of the opposite only presented itself as he was halfway up that final ascent.
Crack! Whoosh! Hiss! That was the sound of ice bursting in front of Shi. There was a hazard that blazing hot gas fine ash would shoot as if out of a cannon straight into the young man. The EV suit could protect him from frostbite and heat stroke, but this temperature was so extreme that it wasn't sufficient protection from the risk of burns. But that was just one hazard of two. Another thermal vent burst, among other places, farther up above Shi, from dangerously close to his anchor point. On his way he'd certainly feel a jerk, suggesting that in an instant it was already less secure. At the halfway point of a hundred-foot ascent, in addition to the immediate burn risk, Shi was now pressed to make a decision in a hurry.

Easy does it now, Shi had managed to make it to the top of the cliff, grabbing the edge with his hands and he tried to pull himself up.... It took a few attempts but he managed to pull himself onto the top of the large wall that once stood in his way. Lying down on his back he stopped for a moment and stared at the sky above, a weird feeling of pride bubbled up from his chest but it was quickly dashed as fast as it came when he recalled this wouldn't be the last stop. Getting back on his feet Shi made sure the Anti-gravity device was off as he retrieved the hook for the grapple gun, making sure it was safe at his side. With that out of the way Shi started back on his trip up the mountain, it didn't seem like it should've been that far of a walk at first. Gravity decided that this was going to take far more of a toll on him then he first thought. Even though he had the Ev suit and his tempeture was always regulated he felt beads of sweat drip down from his forehead as he climbed up, eventually even taking his jacket and hat off and stuffing them into the Infinite storage cube he had in his pocket. If anyone were to see him now they'd think he was mad going this high with just a t-shirt and some old pants. Each time he came across another large wall he'd have to use the grapple hook once again, part of him became more worried about it but considering this was made in the digital world he figured it'd be made out of some tough stuff.... Thinking on that made him go back to why he was even doing this in the first place. Ever since Yuudai and Yasuo came into his life he had been thrust into a world that was far above his own, in sense of power and sometimes even intellect. Even if he was up against a rookie level digimon Shi wouldn't even stand a chance and he knew that, Yuudai and Yasuo knew that. Other digimon he had met even told him constantly about that, to go so far as to even drag him out of the way when Yuudai and Yasuo were sparring to keep him safe. Shi knew full well he couldn't compare to a Digimon, he was human. He was frail, they could probably scale this no problem. Yuudai and Yasuo could do it easily and even take him up there so why? Shi knew deep inside what the easiest answer would be, just to call Yuudai and Yasuo to come help him out. As he was lost in thought though the mountain started shaking more and more, making it harder to keep his footing. He was sliding around for a bit but managed to catch his foot on a clump of ice that'd keep him from slipping as he lined up his shot. Hopefully with how bad this was getting it'd be the last time he had to fire the grapple gun. One more time making sure the line was secure and activating the Anti-grav device before he started climbing up his tiredness had slowly become replaced with adrenaline as he felt he was getting closer to the top. However that was quickly replaced by pain as all of the sudden the ice from in front of him broke, showering him in burning ash. This was definitely not good at all. He'd want to try and pull himself up faster but upon thinking of that he heard a second crash right up to where he secured the line, Damn. Quite a few thoughts came through his head all at once, just let go and summon Yuudai or Yasuo down below. Use the digi-portal, stop doing this stupid climb for your pride it won't change anything. You can't compare to those creatures.... But Fuck that. Shi reached down to his pocket and grabbed his jacket out of the Infinite cube and quickly started changing the shape of the cube as fast as he could to that of a large board around the size he was, wrapping his jacket around it and holding it in front of his body Shi used the extended cube as a makeshift shield, Shi didn't know how durable this thing was so he had to work fast as he tried to do something which might just be stupid. Shi started leaning his body to the left and right to start moving side to side, getting slightly away from the large hole that was attempting to burn him alive at the moment. Shifting his body to the side of the hole Shi planted his feet on the ice wall near the opening that just tried to burn him alive, though his jacket would probably be completely ruined. The next part of his idea required a little bit of luck as well as timing, the hook wasn't secure and he figured it'd give, especially after that swinging side to side moment. With his feet planted against the wall Shi held the retract button of the grapple gun and pulled hard on it to get it to come loose, if it did Shi would retract the line as he fell before aiming it back up at another part of the ice wall off to the opposite side of where he was falling. If he did it right the hook would catch on the edge of the wall and would cause him to swing downward then upward and slingshot him to the top of the ice wall. The only problem was he had to disable the Anti-Gravity device to do this but if it failed he definitely had enough time to activate it before he went splat.

Apparently, Shi wasn't going to let a little thing like the threat of gasses hot enough to melt his skin off stop him from continuing upwards. With a feat of acrobatics, the young man simultaneously cleared the danger and kept himself moving upward. The outcome was never guaranteed, though. The anchor point of the grapple gun cracked and crumbled away before Shi could even grab anything solid, but by that point he had completed greater than a ninety-degree rotation and was already in gravity's hands. The hook fell, but Shi's momentum continued to bring send him upward to safety. Shi successfully achieved... being stuck higher up on an unstable volcano. He definitely wasn't getting down the same way, that was for sure; more airways burst and shot out gas in continuous streams from where he'd just come. When they started to fire straight up, it became a bad idea to spend time looking back. At this point Shi could see that he probably wasn't going to need a grappling hook from here on. The incline was steep and rough enough to need some care nonetheless, but that (and the constant risk of burning gas spouts) was the extent of the ground between Shi and the top. As he'd continue on that way, the rotors of a helicopter became audible. It was the first sign that humanity had ever even been here since the boy was dropped off. There was a reasonable chance that Shi could have nevertheless missed or ignored it - why would it matter to him normally, after all? - but it did not itself ignore him. The air pushed by the rotors would become wind in Shi's face as the chopper descended. There could be no mistake: it was coming down just for him. That became clear when one door of the helicopter opened, and a man with a megaphone leaned out slightly to shout at the young man. "Við erum að sækja þig. Hér er ekki öruggt[1]!" Not that it mattered. Unless Shi or someone with him spoke Icelandic, he was unlikely to know why they were shouting at him. "Við munum leita að stað til að lenda[2]."
[1] "We're coming to get you. It's not safe here!" [2] "We'll search for a place to land."

Shi had no idea if his plan would work, hell he was pretty sure that it wouldn't work at all. It was a pretty stupid plan after all and wouldn't acomplish much but get him more stuck on the mountain. Despite all those thoughts though his plan did in fact work. On his back with his eyes to the sky, his breathing was labored and he felt his arms screaming at him for what he just did but he managed to do it. Slowly sitting up Shi looked down at the absolute insanity that was going on down below. While he wanted a moment to catch his breath the mountain seemed to disagree with that idea.
Scrambling back to his feel Shi put his stuff away before he started rushing up the mountain again, he noticed no real obstacles in his way to the top save for the really obvious ones that would get in his way regardless. He would stumble a bit but he wasn't gonna give up now that he was so close. Though he had a moment to think on what was going on, all this destruction as he got closer to the top. Was this really cause of the digi-portal he was here to close or was this a natural eruption, if it was the latter he was going to be very pissed at himself.
However his thoughts didn't get to stay around long as a loud sound echoed through his mind, he didn't know the sound off the top of his head but looking around let him know that it was a helicopter flying above him. It was pretty clear by the way they flew in front of him that they were coming for him. One of the came out and shouted something at Shi, though he didn't understand what considering he didn't speak the language. Though processes of elimination made Shi figure that it had something to do with getting him off the erupting mountain at the moment.
Now Shi had a problem, there was the whole volcano thing that was a huge problem on his side but there was an even more glaring problem of if they did pick him up they'd have a lot of questions for Shi. How he got up here so fast, why his outfit was the way it was. HOW HE GOT HERE WITHOUT HIS PASSPORT. Shi weighted the pros and cons of each problem before just deciding to start making a bline for the top. He couldn't get Yuudai and Yasuo out without them seeing the digimon so Shi just had to try and get to the top of the volcano before they found a place to land.

As the chopper continued to drop altitude, it continued to call to Shi as the knuckleheaded Tamer kept on trekking. As it got closer, Shi might have noticed more details about the vehicle. It was definitely civilian, that was for sure. As the wind of its rotors became intense enough to blow his hair about, it was close enough to spot that there was obviously no special purpose for this thing beyond flying. No hose, no armament, and no markings that would indicate it was from some sort of government or otherwise official organization. The thing didn't even have much of a seating capacity, able to squeeze in four people at most. From this angle there was no telling how many of those seats were filled.
Not that it mattered. Shi stubbornly refused the offer of a seat. But hey, at least there was a witness to Shi's feat of athleticism and perserverance: at the rim of the volcano, where there wasn't much ground wide enough on which to land, the view was almost beautiful. Around his mountaintop there wasn't much of the colors green or blue to speak of, but there was plenty of white to be found in the sky and other distant ice caps as well as black at lower altitudes. Over the rim of the feature, well, there wasn't much of a view there at all. Gas was floating out so thickly that the wispy silver was about all that he could make out in the bowl of the volcano. Then again, he probably didn't want to face that direction for any length of time anyway. The atmosphere wouldn't poison Shi while he wore an EV suit, but they had their limits. It turned out his digital gas mask still couldn't help with the putrid stench in this concentration. If he checked his digivice at this stage, he'd know that now both of those red dots, as well as the purple one, were now almost directly below him.
The rate at which the mountain tried to kill him did not continue to accelerate, but neither did it decelerate. Nonetheless, the area was very hostile... and Shi was not the only available victim. The young man did not have long to celebrate his victory before a ball of fire launched itself from the bowl of the volcano into the sky, arced directly overhead, and struck the tail half of the helicopter. With a bang and a metallic crunch, the metal superheated so fast that it bent at a very sharp angle and sent the vehicle spinning like a top.
Lots of nasty crunching sounds could be heard as one rotor struggled to keep the thing aloft. In reality it helped, but the helicopter did not stay airborne. Instead, it miraculously kept the disabled chopper from plummetting like a stone. That might not have been much of a mercy, though, given its ultimate trajectory straight down the middle of the giant hole beneath Shi's feet and into the depths, where smoke and gas quickly hid it from view.
Just when an appropriate amount of silence passed and that moment of action halted, there was a chance that a keen ear could have caught a voice in Japanese exclaim, "I think I got 'em!" as a faint echo up from below.

Shi kept making small glances back at the helicopter as he ran up, despite his very tired legs being forefront in his mind he was curious to what their reaction would be to him doing this. It didn't look like it was any type of military vehicle, nor did it seem like it was something like a news chopper. What they seemed to do as Shi refused to go with them was keep calling out to him in hopes that he will listen. "Sorry..." Shi muttered to himself knowing full well that they wouldn't be able to hear him as he reached the rim of the volcano.
If there wasn't anything going on Shi might've taken in the view from where he was standing, drink in the atmosphere and how lovely it looked to be so high up. Sadly though a Volcano was currently exploding and for all he knew he might be the only one who could stop it before that happened. Virgin sacrifices tended to stop volcano's according to movies, that option was definitely available but best to try the digimon route first before throwing himself into a volcano.
Shi covered his nose and mouth with his right hand while he pulled out his digivice with his left, it was still on that weird map and it looked like he was right above the dots. Switching over to the V-pet function Shi looked over to try and make sure the Helicopter wouldn't be able to see him summon the twins, just in time for a Fireball to come out of the volcano near him. Stumbling a bit away from the surprise Shi looked up at the fireball as it flew right into the Helicopter. "NO!" Shi shouted as he pulled out his digivice. "Yuudai, Yasuo realize. WARP DIGIVOLUTION!"
As he shouted that out from his device two small dinosaurs appeared, before vanishing from sight and being replaced by two Ultimate level digimon MetalGreymon and RizeGreymon. "Alright lets, huh? What are we doing in ultimate form?" Yuudai asked as the two saw the Helicopter start to fall into the open hole of the Volcano.
"Doesn't matter, Yuudai fly down and push the copter out of the Volcano, Yasuo cover Yuudai. That fireball definitely wasn't natural." His theory seemed to be right as he heard a small voice coming from inside the volcano, he didn't hear what it said but it was definitely different then the sounds of burning gas and lava that'd be more apparent.
Yuudai and Yasuo both flew quickly into the opening leaving their tamer standing on the rim, Yuudai flew down below the falling copter, pushing against it as he attempted to fly and push it out of the volcano. Yasuo flew down below his brother holding his gun-arm out watching for any movement, ready to get in the way of an attack if one came flying at him.

From this vantage, Yuudai and Yasuo easily disappeared from Shi's view as soon they lept into action. The gas consumed them and, besides their own visibility issues, its smell and toxicity were no doubt unhelpful. Heck, the heat alone felt uncomfortable, but these ultimate level digimon were made of tougher stuff than people and could bear the heat with negligible ill effects. The question mark was whether all the acidic smoke made their eyes burn or their insides scream or their head light. As tough as digimon were, the jury was out on that one. For all the difficulty the faced in there, the sound of the helicopter's main rotor struggling to send it upward was a dead giveaway. The wind off it also produced a little 'bubble' of clean-ish air that protected both any digimon in close proximity and, hopefully, the passengers themselves. The object was massive, but between an ultimate digimon's strength and the main rotor's desperate struggling, the MetalGreymon heroically supported the machine, even managing to get a positive lift.
The real problem was below, not above. "Hey! What's the big idea?" The echo was less faint this time, as if it were projected in the digimon's direction. "They got other digimon here. Not cool, bro!" Now that the voice was more audible it was a bit more apparent that its pitch and timbre suggested femininity. What it didn't suggest was cordiality. That was when the second made itself apparent. "This crap again? Yo! You up there! These ain't warnin' shots here! Screw off!" Ironically, that was a warning of sorts itself. There was a short delay before another glowing orange fireball threw itself upwards. But this time, that was just a taster. After another few moments a second, glowing blue sphere of flame followed it right up. If either one of those hit a solid object, the impact would cause them to explode with concussive heat and force that could hurt anyone too nearby.
The digimon were so close by now! The chopper passengers and the digimon carrying it could see daylight just as its main rotor failed. If those attacks didn't muck things up, Yuudai will have without a doubt lifted the copter cabin to safety. They noticed, too. "What is- are we going up?" asked one flabberghasted woman not in Icelandic, but in English, and with an English accent to boot.
The rest of the people to answer were both local and male, but they all kept to the English tongue, perhaps for the sake of the first passenger. "I-I can't tell. Maybe?"
"Anyone wanna peek out and find out?"
"No, thank you!"

Shi took a few steps back as Yuudai and Yasuo went into the Volcano, Shi couldn't really do much right now so he just had to leave it to the two of them. While also making sure that where he was standing wasn't about to explode on him or anything. " You two got this, I know you do." Shi mentally was scolding himself, if he had just used them to get up here faster then maybe none of this would've happened. Still now wasn't the time to beat himself up, he had to be ready to evolve the twins if something came up, Ultimate should be fine for now though. Didn't want to risk disrupting the Volcano further after all. Yuudai and Yasuo could handle heat, however this was a lot more then heat. While their bodies were fine the smoke hurt their eyes and made it a bit harder to focus. Still with so much on the line the two of them pushed through, pressing forward knowing that if it was this bad for them they didn't even want to imagine how it'd be for those in the Helicoptor. Thankfully they got a least a little bit of relief when they actually got to the helicopter, Yuudai pushing while Yasuo was looking for anything within the smoke, any movement or noise and the RizeGreymon would be on top of it. Yuudai pushed as hard as he could, this thing was certainly heavy but he was managing to get a lift going. Grunts of exertion were pretty obvious from the MetalGreymon. In fact he was so focused on what was in front of him he didn't hear the voices coming from below, Yasuo did though hearing them loud and clear. They seemed to warn Yasuo about what they were about to do, which he was thankful for considering his first line of action was to protect those in the Helicopter. Yasuo pointed his Gun arm down towards the voices he heard. The second he saw something light up and start going towards him he fired one shot of the trident revolver, shooting a bullet through one fireball to detonate it prematurely, he would then do the same for the second one that came firing the second shot of his trident revolver before firing the last shot down towards what was below. If the explosion would extend towards them Yasuo would get in the way, using his body to block the brunt of the damage. " You can consider that MY warning shot!" Yasuo yelled in japanese aggressively. " Make another attempt like that and my and my brother will blast you back to where you came from! What are you even doing in the human world." Yasuo kept his gun up ready to fire any round he needed to at a moments notice. " Who the hell, Ugh. Are you talking to Bro?" Yuudai asked in the same language as his brother as he pushed, though Yasuo ignored him for not.
