As it turns out, somehow this Syakomon seemed to be very connected to the UltimateBrachimon? What? Why? Why indeed. "But why." Caine asked of the Syakomon. "Of course we're not dinos, dude. Neither are you!" Gyo stated towards the funny clam! Of course, it was unlikely that anybody here could really have predicted that things were going.
Souther.
More south than they reasonably should've been.
But they had some information, admittedly. The Ultimate Brachimon was tied to the factory, yes, but it was also drawn by a potentially worthy challenge in something heavier than it. Gyo held his own inventory out and had Kenna on speaker, so it was a guarantee that Qwahe had heard.
"My thoughts exactly." As it turned out, Veemon can think alike sometimes despite the varied nature they held on the forum. Of course, as a scuffle erupted, Caine opted to focus for a few moments to try activating his Seer ability. What sort of answers would he come to was a mystery, but he was trying to be discrete about it.
"I mean, duh. Here you're pretty strong since level means nothing." Scarab scoffed. "So, here's the thing. While I feel for you and your Boogeymon employer, I'd really rather not have to deal with both the Brachimon -and- the Guilmon. So, we're at an impasse that doesn't have to end in conflict. So, hear us out. Or...I dunno, go back to trying to find Astronomea or whatever."
Hisato promptly glanced over to Scarab. "...What?" He asked. "What are you on about?"
"Oh. It's just pirates. A lot of pirates. Didn't expect I'd ever actually run into a Treasure Hunter but hey, I can cross that off my bucket list." If that had actually gotten their attention, then Scarab would continue.
"So, without revealing too much. We're here to help save the island--and the dinos upon it. The Brachimon, despite being a large lad with an unknown story, is also a dino. We're trying to stop Unaba from potentially seizing it. So, why's it -your- dino?" The Stingmon would ask of Amelie.
...Hisato looked to Kenny and Skadi. Yeah, she did mention it was HER dino. Why? What made it that? What would they have to add?

"Yeah... about that..." Skadi merely rubbed the back of her neck at the Syakomon's comments, "We're more like, 'allies' of the dinos, and we were sent here to prevent unwanted invaders from getting into the factory in the first place." At least the slime-clam-Koromon thingy's comment did clear up a few things; it was indeed guarding the factory, and now found themselves inadvertently attracted to Gumo's collapse.
Did they see him as a threat too from the earth-shattering earthquake alone?
Needless to say, however, her, and Kenny's, attention would be drawn to the gargoyle-like Boogiemon merely perching himself onto a railing. That alone would force Kenny to rub his eyes and blink in surprise; "Wait, is that Syakomon connected to that too?" He could only mutter in sheer disbelief at the sheer amount of unfiltered weirdness on display. Power equalizer or no, Skadi in lanky SilverGrademon form barely had any hope of forcing Gumo to the floor. How was a tiny slime-like clam going to even hope of hauling a walking titanium clad dinosaur back to the factory and-
His eyes widened at Kenna's words from the inventory. Strongest higher-ups of Unaba? That, to put it bluntly, didn't sound good in the slightest. And now the Syakomon's attempts to casually run off to try and drag the Brachimon back being met with Bruga's attempts to get her to 'stay put' would only be met with her just casually spawning another Syakomon, alongside her prideful boasts as 'one of the eleven strongest pirates'.
And now the headaches returned once more, forcing Kenny to rub his forehead again for even the slightest hope of comprehension. Goody.
At least when this was all over, he did make a mental note to ask Scarab about Astronomea later.
Speaking of, with Scarab having already getting the ball rolling on trying to woo Amelie to their side, Skadi would go and try to sweeten the pot, "I'll be perfectly blunt with you; it looks like both of us have a common goal, and we need all the help we can get right now. Can you, and your friends, and yes, even your dino, please help drive off the two Guilmon for us while we get into the factory? In return, we'll do anything we can to help your dino friend to return the favour."
That... would probably be hard to swallow, but Skadi's words did ring true. Kenny would merely look over to Qhwae to address the situation, "I'm sorry, but please trust us on this." He quietly bit his lip, as he felt his bones turn to jelly, "I know this sounds a little risky, but she's right. We do need all the help we can get."
It wouldn't be like him to not be unflinchingly honest, especially in a crazy situation like this.

Well, she expected something would happen but not...this. Frankly she wouldn't have done a thing if she had any knowledge of what would come after. The invasive raspy voice, the power consuming her, it was all too overwhelming, to the point it would have been hard for her to make out what even was being said to her, were it not for the fact it seemed to be booming inside of Sasha's head. Loud and inescapable.
"...who the hell...is Kuda..." Was all she could mutter inbetween breaths, trying to make sense of the world around her shifting and changing, until things went dark. She came to probably not too long after, feeling groggy and unsure of what had just happened, the voice thankfully being gone at least, replaced by the voice of Kenna asking how she was doing.
"Wha?" The russian blonde said, lightly massaging the sides of her head as she tried to reorient herself. It was only then she finally took notice of Kenna's words...what was this about bees? She first noticed how clear everything looked, like if someone had turned on the lights on the entire vessel which was welcome but...why was everything so big now?
And why was Kenna saying she was small?
"What."
She looked down.
And why was she dressed like this?
"The."
And why was she floating in the air??
"FUCK?"
And of course, more importantly...
"KENNA WHY AM I A BEE?"
But she knew the answer, or at least part of it: it was because of that stupid green amulet and whatever power or thing that altar held. She tried to give Kenna a basic rundown of what happened, or at least what little she understood. About how she placed the amulet down, then some lady inside her head taunted her and how wanted Sasha to find her...and obviously, that right after that she became a bee at some point.
It probably sounded a bit more deranged out of her mouth than it sounded in her head...but frankly it was next to impossible to recount all that had happened without it sounding like the ramblings of a crazy person. Yet that's exactly what had happened, much to Sasha's continous anger. Now she wanted to kick that voice's ass more than anything else, but that would probably be harder now that she was the size of a little bug.
"Freaking...please don't tell the others...this is freaking embarrasing." She said, pinching her nose in a frustrated huff. "Then again...I guess I got bee senses now? I can't see the darkness anymore, everything looks clear as day...way bigger too but I can see."
If only she wasn't so small...that's what she thought at least, until a lightbulb proverbially it up inside her mind. This size not only made sneaking easier...but she probably didn't need keys anymore.
"I have an idea." She bluntly stated, taking a hold of the inventory as she began moving down the hallways again. Somehow this flyingt thing was considerably less hard than she expected somehow? It felt almost second nature, just like walking, but frankly she rather not stop and think about it too hard, less it stopped working.
She turned right once again at the end of the altar's hallway and if memory served, she'd be facing that black locked door from before. But she obviously wouldn't try to open it, not like she would have the strenght to at this size. No, she instead tried to fly under the door, or failing that, through the keyhole. Surely, something her size should have no trouble getting through the cracks of an otherwise immovable barrier.

"Fool me once..." Ozith Village VIII. A bad situation could only get worse by extending it for much longer. As the conversation progressed, it would become evident, even to Daichi, with all of the things he ignored at the moment, that tension was turning into uncertainty, and none of the parts was willing to either calm down or launch a direct attack until they knew who they were dealing with. The human had been successful in relatively putting things under control, especially with the arrival of his partners, but now it was time to completely deactivate this bomb if possible. “W-Wh…!?” Daichi’s attacker sounded pretty surprised when they saw Jin pop up in front of his tamer, protecting him from incoming danger. “Of course his partners are not from Idayi... Ha!” A serious contemplation that had a gist of amusement came from the same voice that had detected the human before. “Careful there, Ina. You have another one on your back.” It seemed like this third entity had quickly detected Han’s presence despite the darkness that engulfed the room, just like they had been able to see Daichi was a human before. Although this warning did seem to take the digimon facing Daichi by surprise, it did not seem like they were completely unprepared for it. Both Daichi and Jin would start feeling that same purple, mushy substance from the slice and the cushion the tamer had fallen on, moving up over their feet, wrapping them and chaining them to the floor. Although this substance wasn’t enough to go above their knees, it seemed to be doing a fairly good job at keeping them in place and, when they had noticed it was there, it was probably too late to react. Or at least to react without being an easy target for the digimon in front of them, that was. Eventually, should they try to move, they would notice this substance was pulling down, attempting to stick them in place. They were still able to defend themselves, but it seemed like they had given the enemy enough time to try to chain them to the ground with their technique. During this exchange, the attacking digimon did seem willing to answer one of Daichi’s questions. The last one, in particular. “It was me.” They admitted in a whisper. “I didn’t want anyone to follow me. So you saw through it. Just like she did.” “Maybe your trick wasn’t that good?” The mysterious voice asked with a teasing tone. “It was just good enough to stop the dimwits of Unaba from finding the secret entrance.” Daichi’s interlocutor replied. “I was just about to say… Now I’m certain these guys are not from Unaba. Just how many newcomers is the island receiving today?”“So this is a human, isn’t it?” The whole exchange happening between this digimon and the mysterious voice was held in a low tone of voice. “Yes. You had never seen one?” “Just one. But she didn’t look at all like him.” “Well, whatever you’re going to do, do it fast. We need to get ready.”
The mysterious attacker let out a sigh, carefully taking some steps forward. “Listen… If you’re not with Unaba, that marks you out of the list of my immediate enemies.” Their voice sounded slightly more conciliatory now, although the binds keeping the pair to the floor remained strong. “But I can’t take the risk of letting you wander around freely. Much less without knowing exactly what you’re doing here. Why did you want to sneak into Unaba?” As they walked forward, their proximity would finally let the two of them see who they were dealing with. “I ran out of answers AND patience for you. So you better start offering some explanations or prepare to be out for the count.”End of the line?
It was only natural that, as the situation and its complexity evolved, Nami and Mana would have to start making use of the gadget they had at their disposal. For this particular variation of its usefulness, Mana was trying to follow suit a Flarerizamon with it. While the object would, just as she desired, fly above her head and keep trail of the digimon through the crowd, the shopping district seemed to consist of a very long street, and the chased creature’s path was not particularly short. After two minutes or so, the object would fly back to the Meicoomon. “He’s still some meters in front of you, moving forward.” Kenna immediately communicated what she had been able to spot from the heights. Of course, Mana wouldn’t be able to see her target from there, mainly because the crowd of digimon walking back and forward didn’t let her. “He’s not looking to his sides or anywhere except the road ahead. I think he’s quite sure where he’s going. I’m guessing he has somewhere to be at. I know that can be obvious by now, but there’s not much more info for me to provide at this point.” The scientist explained. “That being said, your Inventory needs to rest for now. You better find another way to track him fast, in case he makes an unexpected turn or gets into one of the buildings. Does he have a particular scent? Or are there way too many digimon on the street for you to pick it up properly?”
This was just a suggestion. Whatever method Mana decided to use, she had to put it into work fast in order to not lose this guy. Nami, on her side, was still a passenger of the Mailbirdramon going towards Ultimate Brachimon’s territory. She was not alone though, although she probably wished she was. “’mean that’s fair…” The Troopmon muttered nonchalantly, as a response to Nami’s cold, sharp tone. She started looking elsewhere and humming a happy tune quietly, kind of like a kid waiting for the school bus. Luckily, for Nami, she didn’t seem insistent on having a conversation. It seemed like, although dim, the silver light surrounding her Inventory after activation had allowed the mysterious Troopmon to see a little bit of her. She turned her head immediately “Oh. So you’re a Meicoomon. Heh. My sister's a Meicoomon. I know ya’ species very well. Thanks for bringing some light ‘n here. 'ppreciate it.” Nami would be successful in getting the inventory above the Troopmon’s head and into the vent. “Haha. Ya’ have some tricks up your sleeve huh?” It seemed that, so far, this digimon’s role was that of the NPC just lingering around in a videogame zone, making useless commentary on the MC’s action. At least, that was the most Nami wanted it to be so far. The light that was softly illuminating the room was gone while the inventory probed into the vent, but came back a couple of minutes after, floating and landing on Nami’s paw. Thanks to the intuitive nature of the device’s functioning, Nami would be able to quite easily play what it had recorded. Apparently, it had been able to register a part of the otherwise intelligible conversation the digimons inside the Mailbirdramon were having. Part of that exchange that only sounded like mumbling from there could probably be decried much better in that recording. However, given the quietness that engulfed that cargo compartment she and the Troopmon occupied, it was impossible to lower the volume enough for Nami to be able to listen to it without this other mysterious passenger listening to the content of this recording too. Was that a piece of information she was willing to share? Or was she going to save it for later? For now, Mailbirdramon kept flying high above Idayi, making its way towards the Guilmon’s destination. Ultimate Brachimon VIII . Around the mysterious factory, the tension kept rising on what had admittedly turned into the most complex leg of the mission. Kenna was well aware of this, so she was paying special attention to all of these exchanges and the decisions her crew could take based on that. “Because he’s a good boy! You can’t let good boys go astray!” Amelie issued what she believed was a more than sufficient response to Gyo’s query. It seemed that her part of the exchange with Scarab had given her a piece of data she didn’t know, though. “Level means nothing here…” She muttered, her eyes drifting to a side with doubt, not fitting the fighting stance she had gotten during the previous discourse. “… Oh!” Did she get it? “Eeeee! Korka! I think what you suspected was true! There seems to be some type of force in this island that equalizes power levels. That’s why good boyo' over there is so strong!”The Boogiemon's eyes widened. “I see…” He muttered pensively. “Huh? You’re trying to protect the factory too?” The Treasure Hunter turned when being addressed by Skadi. The digimon in the ‘cool suit’. “So why doesn’t your friend there want to let me get the dino?” She squinted, looking at Bruga, who was now putting away her sword slowly. “He’s trying to protect the factory too!”
Now that had been dealt with some form of answer from the SilverGrademon. She tilted her head as she listened to Skadi carefully. “W-What?” The Treasure Hunter wrinkled her mouth. “No! You can’t enter the factory. Noppers! No way! Only we can enter. We got here first! If you’re so interested in it being safe, just wait while I bring the Dino back. Those evil guys stand no chance against it!” She declared confidently with a smile. While this exchange took place, Caine was starting to receive answers for his Seer ability. However, it seemed that the island was so full of enigmas itself that he would be progressively receiving information for a while. It seemed like his digital structure would need time to decrypt all of that data. What did he see right now? In his mind, it was almost as if he was starting to map the island. The clear with the factory, their surroundings, the forest. Far away, something would get his attention: It was some type of ship, coming their way. He would immediately just know these were the enemies Kenna had warned them were coming. Close, around that same area? He could see multiple wisps of fire just floating around, trying to keep themselves away from everyone's sight. Were they... looking for a way into the factory? It seemed like they had found an abandoned door at the east. These belonged to Qhawe. Was that how he kept track of the Ultimate Brachimon before? What was the Fladramon planning? More information would come to the Impmon progressively. “But, I insist, you can’t enter the factory. Nope. None of that.” “So you’ve been in the factory. You know what’s there and you want to protect it too.” Qhawe was still talking while laying his back on a tree, maintaining a calm expression. Was he... trying to look especially inofensive? “Eeek! I’ve said enough!” Amelie’s eyes widened as she started bouncing towards Ultimate Brachimon again. “I am a clam of my word!”
Qhawe sighed when being addressed by Kenny. “Saying no to people is really a lot of effort, so it’s not really my thing.” He noted with a lazy attitude, whispering towards the human. “But I’m sorry, I have to pass on your idea this time. After the mess you caused with Gumo? The only reason I’m letting you stick around is because Kenna said we had to work together.” The Fladramon’s voice was cold as ice. “But that Shakomon already said she’s not going to let us enter the factory, so there’s no way I’m teaming up with her. We’ll do this my way.”Admittedly, Amelie didn’t have to bounce too far away from the group. The Ultimate Brachimon hadn’t gotten that far yet and she seemed to have a way of reaching it from there. “Oh. And by the way! It is not Astronomea, it’s called ASTRIVIA and I already know where it is! I just need to figure out how to get there.” What was she talking about, even? Despite of the group's attempt to stop her and without saying anything else, the clam just started… singing. It was a sweet, soft tune, that echoed around the clear where the factory was located, spreading through the forest ahead. Despite its tranquilizing nature, it did not seem to have any effect on the digimon or humans around. Except for… Ultimate Brachimon. Very little after hearing the tune, it stopped in its tracks. The occasional, loud, earthquake-producing steps the creature was taking towards the place where Gumon had fallen, just ceased. Instead, now these new steps were those of repositioning, as the gigantic, metallic monster, was slowly moving its legs around its own axis to head back. Given its enormous nature, the process was slow, and it would take a while to complete it. However, Ultimate Brachimon had lost any interest in its previous objective the moment the clam started singing. It was going to the factory. “I’m sorry, everyone! But Treasure Hunter Amelie always wins!”
Had they… lost? ... Suddenly, the group would hear Kenna’s voice coming from their inventory. “THEY’RE HERE, EVERYONE! ATTACKING FROM THE EAST!” She shouted. Amelie reacted immediately to this announcement. “Korka! Coming from the east!” She shouted too. Both the clam and the gargoyle turned to their right immediately, expecting an incoming attack from that direction. … An attack that never came. Instead? Both Pirates (Korka in the heights and Amelie on ground level) would be hit by simultaneous, mighty blows that landed perfectly. Both coming from their left. Amelie was struck by a slashing wave of green energy that had been jutted from Bruga’s sword as she slashed the air. This time the Kotemon had managed to strike the clam just perfectly. Unlike before, the Shakomon had just not seen it coming. Korka? A burst of fire had landed beautifully, hitting him dead on and knocking him off that rail. From down below, at ground level, Qhawe was still aiming in the devil's direction after shooting, his fire gauntlets still spinning with smoke coming out of them. “Apparently, ‘Treasure Hunter Amelie’ also believes in everything she hears through a line she’s wiretapping.”“You heard me once. That’s on me. You heard me a second time, that’s on me again. You heard me a third time and decided to believe me even when I knew you were listening? That’s on you.” Kenna's voice sounded through the inventories again. This time her voice had a very sweet ring that denoted pure smugness. “Quick, into the factory!” Qhawe shouted, moving forward and making a gesture for the group to follow. Where was he going? exactly at the spot where Caine had detected the fire wisps before, on the eastern side of the structure. It seemed like the Fladramon had been probing for an entrance for a while. Kenna and the digimon in Idayi did not even have to put their plan into words to execute it perfectly and in harmony. Amelie’s eavesdropping had backfired heavily for her. After being unable to convince them to attempt to cooperate with the pirates, this time they were doing things Qhawe and Bruga’s way. The results that could have were, just like everything, up for anyone’s guess. Mysterious Ship VIII. “I HAVE NO CLUE!” Kenna admited sounding equally desperate. The inventory, which had also reduced its size in a proportional manner (just like Sasha’s clothes), started swirling around the bee, as Kenna took a good look at this new specimen. “I had never… seen anything remotely similar to this. There are dinosaurs with very particular techniques on Idayi but… nothing like this. Although I guess that’s to be expected, since this ship doesn’t have anything to do with Idayi… yet still…!” The scientist managed to interrupt herself as she found out she was rambling due to pure amazement. She then decided to remain quiet and listen to Sasha’s explanation. “O-Okay. I won’t say a thing.” She noted. It took her a minute to calm down and try to figure out how to go from here. “It seems like you do. Everything looks equally dark to me. It also seems to come with some very convenient features. Your clothes, your inventory, and your digivice shrunk too. Your vocal cords also seem to have kept their characteristics, since I can hear you just fine. That means anyone of normal size can hear you too, which is equally good and bad.”
Kenna incurred a short pause as she pondered on both how to get Sasha back to her regular form and how to use this (hopefully) temporary change for their advantage. She was clearly lacking information to succeed at the first idea. “Someone talking inside your head. I didn’t hear a thing so… maybe it’s some kind of entity communicating through the altar?” The inventory turned to face the structure, which remained glowing in green energy and still had the medallion in it. “I’m guessing that medallion belongs to someone in this crew, possibly that Kuda she mentioned. Again, that thing you heard said…. ‘Come find me'. That means she doesn’t live inside the altar. She has a physical body somewhere, and she's possibly on the island, like the rest of the crew.” Unable to do a lot more conjectures, the scientist just accompanied Sasha as she flew through the hallways to reach her destination. While they did, Kenna did reach a conclusion. “If she was able to communicate with you simply by you getting these powers, it may mean she can communicate with the rest of her crewmates who have similar powers too. And… if she can do that…” “KUDA LOST HER WHAT?” The cry of the Shammamon in the kitchen echoed throughout the ship. “… K-Knew it. Go!”
Although it was a motion she could accomplish normally, Sasha would have to fly faster to get to the door, knowing the ogre would start looking for her at any minute. Luckily, her plan worked perfectly. With this, the Russian woman had just rushed through the puzzles and enigmas in this ship and had managed to get to her final destination very quickly. Whether that could have been done without turning into a bee in the process was something she would never know. What did she know? Well, that she had successfully flown through a doorknob and was now in the insides of what clearly seemed to be the captain’s cabin. And she didn’t have much time! “It’s too dark! I can’t see a thing.” Kenna immediately confessed, although the outlook wouldn’t have changed a lot for Sasha. She could still see everything perfectly. “I ... guess I can use the inventory’s flashlight if you need me to take a look at something in particular, but you need to point me in that direction."So, how was this room? It was a very spacious chamber. Among the things that would probably raise Sasha’s attention was a huge (…despite the fact everything looked ‘huge’ for her right now...) coffin, with golden decorations. Dovetailed on one of the corners, a table, one that was a lot bigger than the one she had found in the Shammamon’s room. It had all types of papers and documents spread through it, with a long map open around the center. To the other side of the room, a bookshelf well filled with different books in terms of size and decorations. Sasha would need to get close to that one to see if there was any book with a title that could mean something to them. Due to her size, it was clear Sasha only had time to check one of these at a time. She would have to check one from up close and then see if time allowed her to go for more. The moments where she had all the time she needed were long gone. She had rushed the adventure game that was this Mysterious Ship to the very end, the final boss was coming to get her, and time was of the essence now. It's 9:13 am! The skies are clear over Idayi Island.
Caine's Seer gave him some information!
-Caine now knows there is a ship going to the factory. He will soon know the number of posts it will take the ship to get there.
-Caine now knows one of Qhawe's techniques: Tracking Wisps. Qhawe can leave wisps of fire that he can sense and control from very long distances, using them to track enemies and discover hidden objects or locations.
-Caine will keep getting information through some of the next posts.
Achievements: -Split and conquer! (You split to take both different approaches in Ozith) -... And in the light will guide them. (You found the Mysterious Medallion in Binagi Shore) -Shattered memories. (You found the graves of Unaba heroes) -Thank you. (Bruga can sleep at nights again) -Mental health is important. While Daichi was aware that there was another voice he was so confident that he had the strength in numbers and thinking that would be able to solve these peacefully that he forgot about it, only realizing he screw up when said voice mention Han being behind the dinosaur digion, so now he had no element of surprise nor the number advantage, could this situation get any worse? In fact yes, yes it can, as the mushy stuff that stop their terrible landing stick to their ankles and hold them in place
"Wait... She? You mean Kenna?" Daichi let out a sigh of relief knowing now that this digimon wasn't with Unaba and probably knows Kenna "We aren't from Unaba, we are working with Kenna to help the digimon here, sorry I didn't say anything before I had to be sure you weren't from Unaba either"
"Briefing has told us that Unaba has taken the digimon of the other two tribes they could catch to Ozith, unfortunately the cameras in the area have been destroyed so our contractor doesn't know why where they took there or if they need any help"
Hopefully they are not screwing this up even more by saying all this stuff, right now it's in their best interest to be in the good side of the monodramon, even if Han is not being held by the mushy thing the monkey was practically on his own while both Daichi and Jin were easy targets, the teen make a sign for the missing partner to walk up and show himself then Daichi order both twins to lower their weapons.
"I'm being honest here, we are just trying to help and do what's right, if there's something that we can do to gain your trust we'll do it"
Of course Daichi could talk to Kenna using the inventory marble but he's still not sure to use it in front of other digimon, that thing is extremely important to let it fall into the enemy hands because he was too trustworthy, same with Mana and Nami, for now it would be best to keep them a secret and to not compromise their mission snce they went ahead to Ozith instead of using a secret passage like them

...Yes, this was...interesting. Caine had not expected the things he consulted for the information he held to be so generous today, yet he was already cognizant of more than he thought he would be.
And if he kept poking at it, it would absolutely yield more. They needed more. The Island depended on it.
Scarab meanwhile stared at Amelie--it was unclear if it was a neutral one, or one of pure derision. "If you had any faith in him then you'd trust him to come back in time." He chided. To which Gyo could only just...shrug and agree. It's true, that was basically what he had been about to say!
Of course, Amelie was being quite stubborn about the matter of the factory, though. "That doesn't really apply when lives are at stake." Hisato found himself speaking up...And found himself agreeing with Qwahe. Of course, Scarab did suggest that Amelie hear them out. She wasn't having none of it. Korka probably wouldn't.
"Honestly, the last thing I'd want to do is a repeat of that." He told the Flamedramon. "I get it if you can't trust us but don't take that out on Kenny when it was my idea..."
Nevermind Astrivia. So she was one of the Treasure Hunters after all...Not that it was important. Scarab and Gyo prepared themselves to attack Amelie as she began to sing, yet they were cut off by Kenna's SUDDEN ANNOUNCEMENT about an attack coming from the east! The east was not burning red, but!
...
...........
...............
Nothing happened! Nothing came! Except SURPRISE ATTACKS FROM BRUGA AND QWAHE! That landed perfectly! "That was perfect, holy shit! Nice work!" Hisato exclaimed, before his group would go to follow Bruga and Qwahe in.
"...Treasure Hunter Amelie should keep to following myths, truth be told." Scarab said, cooly. Caine meanwhile followed closely behind. "...You may be interested in knowing that a ship is coming here. Kenna warned about this, so we should make our work within here as quick as we can."
"Okay." Hisato exhaled. "So, how do you want to do this?"

Despite being a considerable distance away from each other, both Mana and Nami would find themselves having mixed feelings regarding the small contraptions that were supposed to help them in their mission. Useful? Yes, but evidently not as handy as they expected them to be.
In Mana’s case, the drone had ran out of the proverbial juice without even having completed its mission; that meant its power source was probably pitifully weak, at least compared to the actual deal. The Meicoomon sighed, as if lamenting this trial on the heroine’s quest. Not like she could do a lot about it. Besides acknowledging what Kenna herself had said, her options were few. “Roger that. Don’t worry about me. I shall take care of it.”
First things first, did a flaming furry really have a scent to themselves? If they did, Mana surely had picked it up already, but if she hadn’t… a vantage point had to be gained somehow in order to keep track of her quarry. Regarding that? It was either gaining a small, yet probably noticeable boost or outright evolving into a taller form. Out of those two, the more inconspicuous one was obviously gaining some height! With some luck, a Meicoomon that was casually semi-levitating around wouldn’t draw too much attention! Especially since she wasn’t even at a particularly high vantage point, unless the FlareRizamon was a particularly hard to spot objective. Hopefully, she’d be lucky in that regard! Nami, on the other hand? She couldn’t complain about the drone’s functions, but the thorn that was currently firmly embedded on her side. What would she do about it? Disposing of it would take far too much time, just as trying to create an adequate contraption to block off the sound.
While completely ignoring any attempts the Troopmon made regarding smalltalk, Nami opted to send the audio file straight towards Kenna, followed by a call towards the human. “Debriefing. I can’t listen to the audio myself. If there’s anything important I should know regarding it, let me know without raising your voice. Otherwise, inform whoever that conversation might concern.”
That probably would do it, right? As jovial as this Troopmon appeared to be, Nami wasn’t the type to take unnecessary risks unless she absolutely had to.

Convenient features? Surely Kenna wouldn't think so if their roles were switched around, there was nothing convenient about this! But Sasha did have to concede her clothes shrinking down with her was better than the alternative, else this situation would have devolved from bad to nightmarish real soon. If this whole situation hadn't been solved somehow by the time she was done with her mission, she would be all too glad to find whoever had spoken into her mind a moment ago.
"Oh I'll find her alright, and when I do I'll shove that medallion so far up her-" Not that she got to finish that thought, as the yelling from the Shammamon's took her out of her sulking and sprung her back to action.
"Crap, crap, crap." Good news was her plan had worked and she had managed to enter the cabin without a hitch. Bad news was that she had a bunch of stuff to look over and obviously not enough time. If only Kenna wasn't mostly blind she could have maybe asked her to look at something else like that odd coffin or the books. Alas, she'd have to make due with what she had.
"Ok, uhhh..."
After quickly scanning the inside of the room she made a beeline for the large table, softly landing on it while she placed the Inventory on top of the documents. "Here, help me look around here and let me know if you find anything interesting." She asked as she too began quickly walking and glancing over the many papers spread across the table, including the map.
It proved to be a bit more difficult than she would have liked, not so much because of the weight of the papers as that didn't seem to be much of an issue, the size difference between her and them made the process of flipping them over and moving them away from the documents hiding just below a bit more cumbersome than she would have liked, but hopefully all that effort would reveal...something useful. Hopefully.

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on Aug 18, 2021 6:46:17 GMT
Well, this was going nowhere fast.
Despite insisting that the 'dino' also wanted to protect the factory as well, for some insane reason, Amelie still refused to help them, or even let them in, for that matter, by virtue of 'we got here first', much to Skadi's annoyance, the SilverGrademon letting out an annoyed sigh and a pinch of the bridge of her 'nose', before she looked at her dead in the eye. Hisato was right, "This isn't a game, Amelie. We can't afford to screw around. Especially not when Unaba's all but dead set on taking over the factory for themselves, and especially if they use what's inside to poke holes in your dino's defence and potentially ending up slaying him right in front of you... if they don't kill you first."
Those may have been some harsh words, but it'd be extremely rare for Skadi to just sugarcoat the severity of the situation at hand and the consequences that threatened to follow. She doubted that even that would be enough to not just drift into one ear and out the other without a second thought. Not when just moments ago the Shakkoumon was out-and-out downplaying the threats like they were but glorified redshirts.
Not like Kenny was having an easy time winning Qhawe over either; never mind the fact what the Fladramon was saying was true, never mind the fact that Sato was outright sticking up for him. He had a hand in now-notorious Gumo-induced earthquake, and any chances of him making an argument against that or coercing him to change his mind was a snowman's in Hell. He couldn't even bring himself to look Qhawe in the eyes. Heavy breathing in a hasty bid to calm himself down underneath all this self-induced pressure could be heard coming from him, and his eyes started to sting.
After a few good moments, he did give a nod of acknowledgement, "I... I understand. I'm sorry." He at least managed to utter out. He couldn't sidestep it; the only comfort he had in this situation was Hisato's reassurance. And even that was enough to merely alleviate this massive gut punch. The only thing that could snap him out of this funk was the clam's... singing?
Brandishing her own dual blades in hand, the SilverGrademon stood tense, ready to attack as she watched the actions of both the Shakkoumon and UltimateBrachimon... then to the out-of-nowhere announcement of an attack coming in from the east. On cue, she'd buckle her arm in front of her as it started to glow, awaiting the strike, as Kenny would find himself ducking and crouching underneath the bush...
Only to hear the sounds of painful strikes hitting away from them. As Skadi lowered her arm and Kenny slowly got himself up, brushing off the leaves off his head, they'd be greeted with the sight of the aftermath of the attacks from both Bruga and Qhawe. Needless to say, Skadi could only blink in surprise at the sight.
She was trying her hardest not to burst out laughing, if the few chortles that managed to slip by told anyone anything.
Kenny on the other hand? With the initial shock of that sudden announcement now having died out, the young man found himself rubbing his head in a mixture of relief and amusement, "Jesus, and I thought I was one of the most gullible sods in the known universe. Guess I have some competition now." That was all he could let slip before he and Skadi, like Hisato and his group before him, would also follow into the factory.
Turning to Caine warning of an arrival of an incoming ship before their eyes would glance back towards the factory, Kenny would quickly whip out his Digivice once more, before pointing it towards the building with a click sound, "I'll try to scan this place quickly with that fancy advance scanner thing. Hopefully, we might be able to get some idea on what we need to look out for."
Hopefully that would be enough to give them the information they needed to actually infiltrate the factory.

Daichi, Jin, Han, Nami, Hisato, Scarab, Gyo, Kenny, and Skadi were not currently in a situation that allowed them to receive this communication, for different reasons Sasha, Mana, and Caine (the Impmon through his Seer ability) would be the only ones to receive this contact from Kenna and the audio it contained.
“Girls, Nami sent us this audio she collected from the Unaba higher-ups. It reveals… a lot of things to me, but right now is clearly not the time for us to discuss those. Just… listen to it for the time being. Maybe some of the raw information can come useful.”
“… --et there. We won’t have much time to get them out.”
“They still haven’t been able to drive Orochimon there. That thing is extremely poisonous, its insides, its surroundings. We can’t even touch it.”
“Scary…!”
“It doesn’t matter now, though. If Ultimate Brachimon is moving away from the factory, we will get in without any issue. We get the scientist and then he can calibrate that damn portal.”
“But I still want to kill Ultimate Brachimon! Ulak! Can you imagine the amount of power we would have if we ate that thing!”
“I want to absorb its energy too. We’ll find the way of doing it later, but we better get the mission done to get the Old Man off our backs for now.”
“But that’s boring! I want to eat it now!”
“We’ll find the way to kill that thing eventually, Aleh. The Idimoni that are still free… no, even the Old Man Yama won’t represent a problem once we have absorbed the power of that.”
“And once we eat the Old Man… you think we can eat that hideous guy bossing him around too?”
“I have no idea of how strong he is… but once we have the Old Man’s power, nothing will be able to oppose us.”
“Yay! We’re going to be the very very very strongest, Ulak!”
“No hugging!”
Ozith Village IX. Although adversities weren’t for scarce for Daichi and his twins, the situation had gotten some positive tints as it had evolved. Right before things took a turn for the worse, Daichi would take the last chance offered by the Monodramon and started talking. Luckily, the first word he had uttered had already made the purple dragon froze in place. “Y-You said…!? You know Kenna?” She asked, completely startled. “Wait, how do you…?” The explanation would come right after. She would listen carefully, letting it all sink in. She slowly walked around and took a sit on the floor, looking absolutely shocked. “Well, would you look at that…” The mysterious spectator spoke again. It was only met with silence. “What? Are you going to believe him? I mean, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t but…”“Impossible!” The Monodramon stood up aggressively and walked towards Daichi and Jin again. “Kenna is dead! We heard…! They…!” They managed, getting a claw close to the human and the Ninjamon, as Han came out from the shadows and the situation turned more volatile. As she spoke more, it would be more evident her voice was high in pitch, slightly feminine. “This Kenna… She’s the girl you told me about, right?” The mysterious voice watching everything from the shadows asked. The Monodramon, with her eyes wide open, simply nodded. “The way I see it, the information they’re giving can only be known by two groups: Either this girl Kenna or Unaba themselves.” Finally, the creature revealed herself, almost as if it had materialized from the shadows. She turned on a wisp of fire from her index finger, which illuminated her face. A Coronamon. She had a distinctly high in pitch voice, perhaps feminine, too. “Then there are only two possibilities: Either they’re telling the truth and this girl is still alive and sent them here, or they’re lying and will try to kill us as soon as you free them. Fifty-Fifty.”As soon as the Coronamon finished this sentence, Daichi and Jin would feel the mushy substance melting down their feet, slowly setting them free. “W-What are you doing?” “You said Fifty-Fifty, right?” The Monodramon glanced at her peer for a second. “If they’re lying, the worst thing that can happen is getting ourselves killed. But if they’re telling the truth and we actually cause any trouble to Kenna… I would never forgive myself. That’s even worse than dying.”“Y-You… really love this girl, don’t you, Ina?” “Just like anyone with some conscience in Idayi. Kenna means everything to us. We love her more than anything.” Ina sound deeply melancholic. “That’s why what Unaba is doing is unforgivable.” She clenched her teeth for a second. “Who knows. Maybe this is just me wishing they’re telling the truth because I just want her to be alive so much.”“You really are special.” The Coronamon giggled and adopted a fighting stance as the pair got finally liberated. “So… What is it gonna be?”Sadly, if Daichi tried to reach Kenna now, he wouldn’t be able to. The lines were dead.
The Meicoomon twins had their own things to deal with. Although not physically aggressive, both situations were complex on their own. Mana knew her target was still ahead and that it wasn’t paying much attention to his surroundings, which she could exploit greatly. Eventually, it felt like things had worked out for her. If the Mailbirdramon landing proved anything was that the Ozith Village passersby did not care a lot for things developing in their surroundings as long as they didn’t directly affect them. Maybe they were just used to Unaba being very… active, constantly. Whatever was the reason, Mana would be able to float freely around without only one or two villagers glancing at her but then minding their own business again inside the crowded marketplace. In case the Flarelizamon got lost in the large crowd for a second or two, the strong, distinctive smell of burning coal he bestowed would allow the Meicoomon to locate him again quite easily. Although the stealth chance extended for a few minutes through the long pathway, eventually the market boulevard would start reaching its end, giving way to another web of short streets. The fire-lizard would quickly make his way through one of these (which were significantly less crowded) and finally enter a dull, semi-abandoned clay building to the side of the road. The structure didn’t look significantly different from the rest of the houses in Ozith, except it was slightly bigger, as it seemed to be a two-story, as the windows on the upper side showed. So! Stealth was still the name of the game, right? Nami’s complication, however, came from a place entirely different. She decided her best choice was sending the audio to Kenna, which the scientist gladly received. “Sure.” She kept her response short and sweet, knowing it was probably impossible for Nami to remain unheard right now. If the inventory couldn’t reach a volume that would 100% guarantee Nami could hear it but the other passenger couldn’t, then this applied for both Kenna communicating with the Meicoomon or playing a recording. That was mainly why the purple-haired girl would remain quiet for the rest of the trip and would pass the information to whoever was necessary. That left Nami with a trip ahead (which duration she was unsure of) and a passenger who looked more like a nuisance to her so far. There wasn’t a lot she could do without alerting the Guilmons inside, so how would she use her time left? Regardless of how scarce the information she had was now, she did know her mission and approach had been importantly shaken. After all, she was now heading to a battlefield, and she has to be prepared for that. Ultimate Brachimon IX. “You know they’ll be back, don’t you, Bush-league hero?” Bruga questioned Qhawe’s while her arms flailed behind as their made their way to that abandoned door. Bursting through by shooting the old gate and tearing it to pieces, the Fladramon glanced at her. “We’ll deal with that when they do.”“Okay, everyone. I’m shutting down the line between us for now, as I don’t want Amelie to get more information. Let’s just keep in touch for the strictly necessary. Good luck in there!”
As they entered the factory, the landscape would start changing inside Caine’s head. In this black mapping he was doing of their surroundings, he could feel the presence of two objects standing out with a shiny, colorful glow, hidden in this place. Their energy was so alluring it was almost as if it was calling someone in to take them, even if the Impmon couldn’t immediately tell where they were right now. It was likely whoever they were waiting for would also start feeling attracted by them. Kenny would tackle the rest of the job. Bruga glanced at him melancholically while he scanned the factory as they went in. Just what kind of effect had Qhawe’s words had on him? Had those fueled his guilt about the Gumo incident? Regardless of the emotional conflict he could be going through now, his scanning had been successful, and the digivice showed there was one other digimon inside the factory. The fact the factory was quite simple in structure although massive in size probably helped the scanner give out this information. Whoever this was, they clearly were at the backside of the factory. Along with the group’s breakthrough, Fladramon’s wisps of fire started spreading thorough the abandoned factory, an old building that looked as rusty from the inside as it looked from the outsides, with plants even starting to grow on the mossiest corners of the structure and light sneaking in through the broken skylines in some of its sections. Qhawe turned to Hisato to answer his question. “I think Ultimate Brachimon is coming for us. If it knows we’re inside, it may try to get us out somehow, so we have to move fast. One of us needs to find the digimon in the factory, as right now it seems like the only thing that can provide answers regarding what this represents.”They had a single mission, although split into two parts: Find out why this factory was so important for Ultimate Brachimon and for Unaba. Then, walking off with that element to avoid Unaba from getting it and use it in their favor. While the group scouted through a pretty desolated warehouse, the roar caused by Ultimate Brachimon turning back and walking still echoed around the whole area. It was clear they hadn’t stopped Amelie from calling it back, even if they had taken her out of the way so they could enter the factory. The question was… did the monster know they were inside? The answer would come rather quickly. Small, missile-like objects started flying into the factory through any gap, breach, or opening the factory had. The door they had just busted, the broken skylines or the rusty slits between walls, they all served as openings for these things to get in, propelled from the outside. As they entered the factory, and found their targets, these small missiles mechanically unfolded into bigger beings, deploying some type of robots around the whole factory. In a second, an army of 20-30 of these had deployed through the factory and approached every member of the Ultimate Brachimon group menacingly. These looked like Commandramons, in essence. However, there was something distinctively different about them. Their eyes were red and it looked like their whole body was made of metal. From the outside, Ultimate Brachimon had just sent an entire army to catch the intruders, and the way the gigantic monster yelled angrily showed it wanted them OUT right now. Just as this happened, a new bit of information reached Caine. He now knew how long they got until the warriors sent by Unaba got here. “Bruga! Go find whoever is in here!” Qhawe shouted as the Commandramons started their attack. The flame warrior kicked and shot the robots around him. “Don’t tell me what to do!” Bruga chided while she rushed to the doorway that took to the back of the factory. Evidently, she could need either cover and/or company, although Qhawe was clearly outnumbered by these things too. Again, time was of the essence. Mysterious Ship IX. The rules of the game were clear since it started. The shortcut Sasha had taken to the end led her to quicker results, and to the anger of the final boss. “I know you’re in there! Get OUT!” From inside the cabin, Sasha could hear her persecutor at the other side of the door. The Shamamon slammed the door with his big hands, demanding for our heroine to come out. “No one can enter the captain’s cabin! GET OUT!!” He hit the door again, aggressively. “Just as we thought, this is the captain’s cabin. If I had to guess, it’s probably the woman that spoke inside your head earlier and let him know you were here.” Kenna mused. before bringing her attention back at the task at hand. “Quick! We don’t have much time.”
The purple-haired scientist followed Sasha’s instructions and quickly moved the inventory to study the content of the papers and the map over the table, with all of the complications Sasha's size represented. “I-It’s…” She muttered while scanning the entirety of these carefully. Regardless of the fact he could not enter the room, it was not to say that their chaser planned to just stay put as they proceeded. “I … said… get… OUT!”“W-What is… that?” Kenna asked aloud, the inventory turning to face the door. Below the wooden gate, through the small gap between door and floor, a strange substance was making its way into the room. It was some kind of thick, green smoke. As it sprayed through the floor, it seemed to make the wood rotten, slowly starting to gain height in order to engulf the whole chamber. “Sasha! That looks extremely poisonous. You might want to do this quick!” What could happen if that thing reached our bee? Could it actually disintegrate her as it was doing to part of the floor? It was likely Robinson didn’t want to find out how deadly was the substance entering the room. Although Kenna desperately tried to gather all of the information from these documents and the map, she couldn’t stop thinking about the threat coming their way. As its source didn’t seem to stop pouring it out, the gas was just expanding through the room extremely fast! How long until it reached them? A growl of pain, clearly issued by the Shamamon at the other side of the room, got to Sasha. Then, something hit the wooden floor. "Bon... thank you." Kenna muttered, unable to hide her worries. She didn't know what kind of opponent would her partner be facing at the other side of the door, but the threat this Shamamon and the Dusk Pirates represented had become quite clear for her. "Okay, Sasha! I think we're done here. I will send you all of the info I gathered once I process it over here. I think we only have time to explore one more thing in this room. What is it going to be?" It's 9:32 am! Clouds are starting to form in the sky over Idayi Island.
Caine's Seer gave him some information!

Nami’s situation could mostly be described as the proverbial calm before the storm. There wasn’t a lot for her to do, and she wasn’t even aware of the contents of the message she sent towards Kenna. Oh well; at the very least, she figured it wasn’t anything life threatening, or the scientist would’ve probably blown her cover and said that tidbit despite the nosy Troopmon.
At the same time, it also meant that she didn’t time much time to laze around and leisurely enjoy her ride; considering the Meicoomon was arriving to a battlefield, it was probably for the best to take which advantages she could get before landing. Not to say, it was a good thing that the Troopmon had stopped bothering her; that definitely helped matters go more smoothly.
What would the Meicoomon do, in the meantime? Basically, she’d search for anything that had the potential of being even the slightest bit important in the cargo hold where she was located. Were there any structural features, or objects of interest where she was? She didn’t expect to find a lot where she was, but it was probably a more productive thing to do than trying to chat with the Troopmon, or just idling around doing nothing. Mana, on the other hand, was able to listen to every part of the leaked conversation, and couldn’t but smile to herself at Nami doing what essentially could be described as a good job. A worthy sister of hers, that’s for sure!
However, she couldn’t give her undivided attention to the recording, given that she could lose her quarry at any moment if she became distracted; at least it was a good thing that the unerringly strong smell of coal smoke put her back on track. It was interesting how every digimon in the village didn’t seem to mind it or wasn’t even showing discomfort at it, but on the other hand, it made sense given their saurian natures.
Eventually, the Meicoomon managed to track the flaming digimon towards his destination; a house that probably was way more than what it seemed. I question coursed through her mind as she examined the structure, which seemed fairly simple in appearance. How to get in while avoiding detection? Given the building’s apparent simplicity, finding its possible entrances would only take cursory examination, right? She certainly hoped to not lose a lot of time, else the track could grow cold.
The fact that there was probably more to been regarding this place in relation to the rest of the houses probably meant at least some time was necessary in order to examine the most convenient entrance or route to take while venturing into the unknown hut. Not necessarily a situation Mana enjoyed, but taking adequate precautions seemed like something that’d pay off.

The tension in the room was growing, rather than deactivating the situation Daichi seemed to make it worse by naming Kenna and Han joining them made things much worse even if the teen told their mons to lower their weapons, while he didn't like the tone of the Coronamon he had to thank her later for stopping the Monodramon at the last second and fortunately brought a good point, there's a fifty percent chance they are with Kenna and the other fifty with Unaba, whether that was way of saying "Don't risk it and off them" or genuinely considering they are saying the truth was unclear but it did make the Monodramon release them from the mushy thing.
"Thanks, look I told Kenna I would communicate once I made it to the other side of the waterfall, once you talk to her you'll believe me, right?" Daichi then tried to use the inventory marble but no matter how much he shake it there was no communication "Aw.... Crap... I... For some reason I can't communicate with her right now..."
Fortunately for Daichi his partners weren't slow to pick up on the situation and try to make their case and be on the good side of the Monodramon, the Coronamon was a different story much like Daichi the way she spoke and how she question the dinosaur once she set them free raise flags on them so for now they'll try to cooperate with the other mon.
"For what we heard about the Unaba tribe, they are guys that put power and strength over everything, take a good look at our tamer and tell us if he looks strong?" Han throw a very direct jab at Daichi's ego tho it was hard to deny the monkey was right
"Additionally it sounds like they would only trust other island inhabitants, why would they pick a cowardly human with two even weaker mons to do their dirty work?" And with that Daichi's ego touch rock bottom but hey those were fair points
"I'm sure we will be able to contact Kenna once we are out of this place, there might be some interference and this thing is not picking up... Here" Daichi would then place his digivice in the Monodramon's arms "If Kenna show you anything about how humans and digimon interact you'll know how important is a digivice, you can hold it until you trust us, without it my partners can't evolve or do anything big so you won't have to worry about us doing anything stupid" And besides Daichi's partners can't evolve yet so it's not a big loss but hopefully this would give them enough reason to trust them and let them help "So what you say? Are you going to let us help with Ozith Village?"

She did her best to calm herself, to ignore the screaming coming from the other side of the door. There was nothing she could do about them anyway, hell she didn't even know if she could do something once the Shamamon finally made his way inside. For all Sasha knew even if she could use her spirit it would probably be for naught, after all the size difference between her and the rest of the world was quite considerable. All that green bastard needed to do was smack her once and that would be it.
Well, as long as she hurried he couldn't do anything until he got in, right? Righ-aaand of course there was poison coming from under the door. It couldn't be that easy just for once, couldn't it? "Oh goddamnit, really?!"
Even she didn't need Kenna to know so much as touching that substance would probably be the end of her, but there didn't really seem to be any way out of the room besides the door! All she could do was curse herself and curse this stupid ship. Why did she have to take this on her own? She wasn't smart enough for this! All she had managed to do up until now had been thanks to others or sheer dumb luck. Was there even a point in trying to fight at this point?...
Her self pity party would be rudely interrupted by a sudden commotion coming from the other side of the door. A growl of pain, followed by a thud, followed by...a voice she recognized and made her look back at the door in surprise, a bewildered but thankful look in her face.
"Bon, you son of a bitch I could kiss you right now!" She exclaimed, unable to hold back the happiness in her voice. To think he'd make his way into the ship and come in the nick of time, she really was starting to like this silly lizard. "After this is done I'm buying the best dinner money can buy, you hear?!"
With this precious time she was being given though she had to make it count. As Kenna put it they could probably take a quick look at one more thing inside this room. The bookcase, while probably the safer option also seemed like the most time consuming one, unless one of those books happened to be titled "Dusk Pirate Scheming 101" or something to that effect, it would probably take too long for them to get anything worthwhile there that the documents couldn't say.
Well, that was the more logical reasoning she had but...there was something else.
“If you manage to survive this. If you can avoid the madness and withstand the sheer darkness embracing you from now on… come find me. I’ll be thrilled to meet you.”
If Kenna was right and that voice belonged to the captain's...was there perhaps a chance that coffin also belonged to them? Furthermore, could they possibly still be there, like a pirate version of Dracula? And finally if so, was it worth it for her to heed her words? This could all be an elaborate trap for all she knew, or some weird ruse to get Sasha where she wanted her. But if it wasn't...maybe the best course of action was to actually try to find her.
Damnit, if only she had more time for Kenna to process that new info!
"Kenna..." She said after a moment of contemplation, taking a deep sigh before continuing, "I'm giving that coffin a closer look. If anything bad happens...please tell Bon to be safe, alright?"
With that said the bee girl made a beeline (pun intended) for the large golden coffin, only slowing down in case Kenna decided and needed to follow after. Once she was next to it well, she'd just hover as close as she could, giving it a good look from top to bottom in search for...anything really. A clue, a way to open it, hell she even gave it a couple knocks with her hand.
"Alright you raggedy hag, if you're close you better show yourself, or I'll shove this coffin up down your subordinate's throat..." She said, biting her lip, clearly at the end of her rope from all the tension building up in the past ten minutes.

"They'll definitely be back, people like that rarely take being shown up like that laying down." Gyo noted as they finally advanced into the factory. Finally. For the moment, Caine was content to remain at the back of everything, focusing on what he was receiving at the moment.
Two objects with...an allure towards specific people...It seemed familiar to him, the concept at the very least. It was of no consequence for right now, as they had more immediate things to plan out...
The words he had heard from the sisters, distant as they were in reality, yet all the closer in mentality, incited little more than disgust in the Impmon X. "So they mean to kill the titan...?" Couldn't have that, no...A scientist, however...It could not be Kenna. The voices said HE.
Finally, the imp spoke up. "If we find the scientist, then he may be able to tell us what makes the factory so significant. Otherwise-..." Caine was cut off by the sudden appearance of several abnormal waves of Commandramon.
"I genuinely didn't know it was possible to make these guys look more bland." Scarab said, staring straight ahead as the Stingmon cracked his knuckles. "Caine, go with Bruga. Hisato, stick with Kenny. Skadi, do Skadi things. I won't be able to offer much in the way of finding things, but Bush League won't stand alone." Gyo nodded in response to that, the twins seeming rather unified in purpose for once.
"We need to work quickly, then. Sit tight."
The Exveemon took off after Bruga as well, with Caine and Hisato close behind. Scarab meanwhile ran at the wave of Commandramon with Qwahe to throw some punches and kicks at them himself! He felt like the group had to avoid destroying the place. So a repeat of the prior incident? Best to avoid that.

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on Sept 10, 2021 6:11:21 GMT
"That, or they're the sort of people who'll never get the message, no matter how badly you literally beat it into their thick skulls." As the group stepped inside, Skadi's little quip-come-response to Gyo would be followed by one last subtle glance towards the outside world, and where both the Shakkoumon and Boogiemon presumably laid. How in the world was Amelie so gung-ho about remaining tight lipped about the insides despite the possible consequences of letting Unaba run free with the Macguffin(s) had she slipped up, she was still trying to wrap her head around it. While the information Kenny managed to get from the factory wouldn't be as big a revelation on par with what Caine managed to pull, that little titbit of information did raise a few alarm bells in head over not only whoever was in the factory, but whatever intentions they may have had underneath the surface. Clearly, Qhawe also found out himself and/or read the screen, with both him and Caine coming to around the same conclusion; the scientist and 'lone Digimon' were the same person, "Let's just hope we can knock this out quickly. God knows they could show up any minute now and screw everything up..."His heart would skip many a beat as the roar rocked the factory, forcing himself and Skadi to briefly flinch, before taking a good look at the swarm of the robotic Commandramon soldiers now spawning en masse all around them. Oh God. "Well, looks like somebody here didn't get the memo." Skadi would only greet the robots with a dry remark herself. That was the easy part, at least for her. With Bruga left to search out the scientist, and Qhawe staying behind to defeat the robots, she'd briefly turn her head up to listen to what Scarab had to say, as would Kenny. "Right." Kenny would merely shoot a nod towards Scarab as he followed Hisato (and by proxy, Bruga) behind. But Skadi? 'Do Skadi things'? Already, she found herself conflicted on what she could do to help. Both sides would probably need all the help they could get, and she couldn't just stand there. She had to do something, just to give them a fighting chance on what they needed to do. On one hand, theoretically, if she stayed behind to fight, this would mean that she'd bring a little bit more firepower, and a higher chance of fending off the horde from the rest of the group, lest they interfere with the other group. Plus, hypothetically, both Scarab and Qhawe would appreciate the little bit of extra help if it meant that the rest of the team could get enough time to find the scientist, and the things they needed. On the other? This would leave Bruga's side one head short. Sure, Kenny could swipe a card to give Gyo/Bruga/Caine a fighting chance had things gone south far too quickly for their own good. But joining with her would also leave Qhawe and Scarab one head short - and face a much higher risk of possibly being overwhelmed by the Commandramon swarm. Well, she could do what she knew she did best. Her eyes fixated on the swarm, she'd merely snap her fingers once again, and the three clones would respawn near her once more. All she had to do was point in the direction of Bruga's group, and they'd dash off, keeping an eye out for the scientist, the artifacts, the warrior Guilmon, anything they could find. Not a moment later and the SilverGrademon would unsheathe her dual blades once more, charging in front of the hoard with a standard wide slash from both sides of the blades, aiming to take down as many as she realistically could. She reminded herself to prepare a few words for Amelie once this was all over. Skadi opts to stick around and fight with Scarab and Qhawe... but not before summoning the Shadowclones again to go help Bruga's team by acting as watchdogs. She takes the fight to the Commandramon swarm by opening with a basic wide slash attack. Since Skadi didn't use a named attack this post, she gains the first token from Buildup for this battle, and gains +10% attack. Shadowclone: Skadi summons up 3 clones of herself. These clones possess the power of a normal Champion level, able to attack the post they were summoned and sharing all of her passives except Buildup, although when hit with any attack, whenever a standard attack or a named attack, these clones ‘die’ and leave a giant, harmless, but extremely thick white, and blinding smokescreen in their place that lasts for a post, only able to be blown away by wind attacks with a 3 post cooldown or higher, and/or any attack/ability that can clear off any AoE abilities like this. Each clone is treated as one individual Digimon, and will still be affected by any non-damaging buffs/debuffs they may be affected by. Once a total of 3 posts have passed, all still-active clones will automatically ‘die’ and generate their respective smokescreens at the end of the post. (3 post cooldown) Passives:Buildup (Passive): For every post that Skadi does not directly attack the opponent with an ability, she gains a token. This token increases her attack by 10%, up to a total count of 4 tokens. These tokens cannot be taken off by the opponent, nor can these boosts be reduced by any attacks or passives from any opponent. (For example, simply using her swords to parry the opponent or merely swinging her sword to attack will not affect Buildup. Using Dual Striker or Sliver Breaker does)
Keen Eye (Passive): Being a skilled swordswoman has it’s benefits. So that means that she gets a 1.3x boost to accuracy. This also allows her to see perfectly fine where she otherwise wouldn’t, including fog, smoke, and other weather conditions. Active Buffs/Debuffs:Buildup (+10% ATK): 1/4 active tokens Shadowclone (3/3 active clones): 1/3 Cooldowns Shadowclone: Wait Cards Used (1/7): DR-28: Wings of the Wyvern (1/2)
