Apparently it was high time for the two of them to start going out on their own, Cici could only do so much to help them train but there were limits to what she could do at the moment. Wandering around was apparently how she got strong so for now it was Alpha and Beta's turn to do so, strolling around the Mainframe hills, usually a peaceful place compared to a lot of other areas in the digital world. "Man, I think this has been the farthest I've been out on my own." Alpha mused as he turned to see his sister Beta, completely lost in thought herself as she looked around the area, curiosity abound looking at every inch of the normal landscape.
"Wow, it's so green. And that thing the Sun is so bright. Wow it really hurts to look at!" Beta stopped looking at it as she said that, back to the ground she was staring. It was these moments that reminded him that she hadn't been out pretty much at all, Alpha felt a bit of sadness recalling that thought but it was quickly replaced with a strange feeling.
"Huh? Why did it get so cold?" Even with his coat on he could still feel some strange coldness permeating through the area he was standing, looking over at Beta he saw that she was experiencing a similar thing. Having thrown her hood up around her head to try and keep herself warm.
"Brr, did we accidentally go to Ys instead?" It was the only cold place the two of them had been too but no, the sun was out and shining so what was this weird feeling. "Hey Alpha! Over there look." Beta pointed towards a bit away, there seemed to be something sitting on the ground, a large block of ice in a place that Ice really shouldn't be.
Looking at each other the both of them decided to quickly check it out, well Beta decided as she ran past her brother. Alpha fought with the pros and cons of going to look at that but eventually he decided to follow after his sister. Getting there first it was pretty clear that what they were looking at wasn't a block of ice, instead it seemed to be a digimon standing upright completely frozen.
Beta walked closer to it, inspecting the large icy mon for a bit. It was a Virus MetalGreymon, either that or just a regular MetalGreymon. It was hard to tell due to the cold. "Hey! Are you okay?" Beta pushed against the digim0n but to no avail. Alpha walked up next to her, looking up at the large ice digimon for a few moments before his eyes drifted over next to the digimon...
"W-what the hell?" There were many more frozen Digimon around the MetalGreymon, two Ultimate levels and two champion level digimon. Alpha didn't take full note on what they were as he was busy backing up. "Beta, we need to get out of here now."
Beta looked back, her face scrunched up with a look of worry. "But they could be hurt, we hafta help them Alpha." But with that she was quickly grabbed by her twin and started to get dragged away from the ice digimon.
"Yeah or whatever froze them will do the same to us, we gotta think about ourselves here Beta and move!" Despite grabbing Beta she held her claws to the ground. Alpha was managing to drag her but his sister was a lot stronger then him so they weren't going anywhere fast.

During her patrol silence had learned a few things about a local bandit troope that really had grinded her gears. She could forgive some of the simpler crimes; or rather would act less harshly against them. But from bandits that loaded their victims? Without fail? She had a harsh case of judgement towards them. One after the other.
They thought themselves stronger; the strongest in the area. Laughing and joking about things they shouldn’t. It made her blood boil, it made her angry. It made her want to act against them and make sure that innocence would never be under their yoke again. The first few fell without a struggle. Only being champions against the might of a super mega.
The others that were ultimate didn’t succumb right away but the harsh shift in temperature made them slow. Sluggish even. Made it easy to stride up and look them in the eye. Each and every single one of them was frozen solid to their core. Where she could feel them and sense them struggling to get free as the extreme cold penetrated the deepest parts of their core… and snuffed it out like one would a candle. She could feel their bodies growing more and more solid with every passing second.
The leader of this band was a wargreymon it seemed… but he wasn’t present nor would he ever be present again. She had already dealt with him in another clearing. Frozen him from the inside out with one of her most powerful attacks. Didn’t even give him a chance to beg much like these ones.
But she knew this wasn’t the entirety of the group; she was pretty sure there was some more. But upon sensing a pair of signals approaching she figured what was the harm in waiting? If they were traders or civilians she would let them be. But if they were bandits? They’d join their friends.
Among the frozen statues she sat and waited. Eventually hearing what she thought to be a familiar pair of voices. She couldn’t place them and slowly but certainly she would stand up. One of the voices asked if they were okay. The other was seeming to panic just a bit. The two would feel her presence acutely. Like a hand weighing down against the both of them. Her voice spoke yet a single word but there was such intense power in that word that they might as well just have been pressed to the ground.
”Wait.”
And so did silence step around the frozen statues of the digimon; her eyes in full blaze ready and raring to fight whatever may have stepped into her glade. The somewhat frosty temperature… plummeted. The air chilled and one of the statues practically cracked from just being next to the omegashutmon. Her eyes glided over the two of them;t aking them in and slowly she furrowed her brow.
”I know you.”
The frozen air slowly started to wane in temperature; the intenseness of it all managed to edge back and her attention would flick to somewhere else. Furrowing her brow as if seeing something before adjusting to look back down at the two in front of her.
”Alpha and Beta right? What are you doing here?”

Alpha was finally getting Beta to start moving, she was getting dragged out of this frozen hellhole whether she wanted it or not gosh darnit. However before the two of them could start making any headway towards getting away from this place that's when it hit the two of them. A strong presence that neither of them had ever been around before. Feeling choked up just by just what they felt behind them as whatever it was uttered a single word 'wait' Alpha had his eyes closed, he couldn't feel his legs at all. This place was supposed to be safe dangit! Now here's some powerful digimon freezing others.
Beta wasn't fairing much better, Alpha had at least a bit more experience being around powerful digimon as he had traveled around a bit and even with his old teacher. Beta on the other hand seemed a bit out of it. Slowly Alpha let go of Beta and felt the instant need to run away from what was going on, just ditch Beta and try and save himself. It wasn't the best plan but this wasn't something they could deal with.
However to the surprise of Beta and to even more surprise of Alpha instead of running off he slowly walked in-between the newcomer and Beta and did his best to look them in the eye, he was clearly shaken but he wasn't moving. 'What am I doing? Eh doesn't matter I guess. I don't think I could outrun them if I tried.' he simply thought to himself as he stood.
However much to both Hackmon's surprise the digimon mentioned that she knew the two of them, looking up what was once fear was replaced by confusion on Alpha's part. "Wait? How do you know our names?" Alpha was pretty much at a complete loss at the moment.
"We came here to train... You do kinda seem familiar though." Beta got out as she turned around to look at the digimon, the cold air was slightly subsiding it seemed, but the question was still plain on the twin's minds.

Silence’s presence was obviously doing a number on these two. She’d stare at the two of them wondering to herself what she should do. The two of them were not bandits. Their signals and their cores felt too kind for that. She’d hum to herself; folding her arms as she slipped her sword into it’s sheathed position. But even without permafrost she was still absurdly powerful.
The Omegashutmon eyed the two in front of her, as Alpha stepped forward in front of his sister she couldn’t hel;p but have the faintest of smiles. Her voice was firm before but now it had a bit of gentleness to it. She’d squat down, her visor slowly raising a bit and she couldn’t help but chuckle. Reaching out to gently pat both of their heads.
”I’m coal’s mother. We met briefly at the coliseum when you wanted to fight her. I’m sorry for scaring the two of you but I wasn’t sure how large this bandit group was.”
Even for someone so strong her touch would be surprisingly gentle and she’d quickly take a moment to de-digivolve. The sheer pressure of her presence lessened but was still there to a degree. But to these two it wouldn’t be so abundantly overwhelming. She was a mother and she understood just how much she probably scared these two.
”My name is Silence. And coming here normally would be a wonderful idea to train. But with the bandits here many people were fighting one another in that venue before they’d take advantage of them or weaker travelers.”
Silence would slowly stand back up, rubbing at her neck. She could see that the mons weren’t melting which meant that she had killed most of them outright. She knew for a fact their leader was dead and gone given she had frozen him before shattering him.
”I can show you a better spot than this to train. Maybe even give the both of you a few pointers if you’d like. Even got some drinks to help warm you up.”
Silence cocked her head to one side and there it was; the smile that would be somewhat reminiscent of coal’s when these two shared a meal with her. Silence was by far more physical and more friendly than her daughter but she wasn’t going to overstep her bounds too much!

Alpha was still feeling pretty tense as the stranger bent down to their level, still he didn't move from in front of Beta even if most of his body screamed to do so. To his surprise though he felt something pat his head instead, a weirdly gentle touch for such a digimon. Blinking for a few moments the two of them at a loss they just looked at the now. "Coal's mom? Oh yeah the Renamon from the coliseum." Alpha remembered now, Coal did say her mom was really strong but this was next level. "Bandit's? Oh so these frozen digimon..." That was quite the number for a bandit group. If they had come here without Silence being around... Alpha didn't want to think of what'd happen to the two of them.
"Oh Coal's mom, It's nice to meet you! Your daughter was fun to spar against." Almost instantly Beta seemed to lose all that fear she had before once it was revealed who this was, Beta moved from behind Alpha to right next to him with a smile on her face. Alpha was surprised at the sudden turn but he was still calming his core down for a moment taking in a small breath.
"Taking advantage of... Oh. And to think I was worried about them for a moment." It made sense at first considering they had no idea who these were. Still though she trusted that Silence wasn't lying to them about it, After all she did know their names and Coal said her mom was a knight or had ties with them. Alpha couldn't remember.
"Still though I think we count in that latter category, don't even wanna imagine how we'd of dealt with em." The twins could barely even handle going champion after all.
Then came the offer of a better place to train, Alpha took a second to mull it over while Beta instantly just went. "Oh, that sounds wonderful right Alpha?" Beta looked at her brother, tilting her head to the side as she waited for his response.
Considering how strong Coal was and how she described her mother this didn't seem like a chance Alpha should just pass up. "Yeah alright, any tips you can give would be helpful. We have to get pretty strong pretty fast." Didn't really have much of a choice in the matter but hey, this was a great chance for the two of em.
