Opener: Goodbye Declaration
Scene opens to a young girl with silver blonde hair and purple eyes place a coin into a gachapon machine inside a combini, where she opens a red plastic ball with a reaction to what’s inside that is neutral to the viewer. Suddenly what looks like two young children, one a girl with purple twintails and a boy with dark hair greet her holding up the treats they have picked from the shop. The scene cuts to them all walking outside with bags, right past a flyer of a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, with the word in all caps ‘MISSING - Talia Brandt’ underneath. The audience knows the girl in the photo is the girl from the combini.
The flyer duplicates and shifts into several flyers which transitions into the introduction screen of the shows title, with the purple haired girl shown in a field riding on the back of a lanky rabbit running on all fours next to a red dragon running as well, the girl holding up a digivice before they seem to face off against something. The next scene cuts to a girl sleeping in what looks like some kind of underground chamber before her eyes open to consciousness and she sits up from the stone slab she’s on before being joined by a Moonmon and a Koromon, whom she carries out into the sunlight. In the next scene they are shown wandering through a town in the digital world where the twins, a Lopmon and Hackmon, begin to suddenly bicker before Talia rushes over to break them up.
They keep walking and the audience briefly sees the shadow of a Jesmon on the wall reflecting the Hackmon and what looks like a modified Dianamon reflecting the Lopmon. The next scenes are a slew of one second clips of the trio exploring various things in the digital world, flowers, the ocean, running from a herd of wild triceramon, etc, to the end where she appears to be waving at somebody, that being a girl in a leather jacket with blonde hair tied up. She is propped up against a tree as if trying to look nonchalant but when she sees Talia she greets her with a nod and head pat before all 4 of them walk off together.
Ending: Okaeri
Scene opens up with Talia in an apron in the kitchen with twins. Intensely looking at the inside of what looks like a cookbook, as if she is attempting some massive science experiment, though it is shown quickly that they are simply attempting to make some basic congee. They are shown standing on the counter staring into the rice pot as if expecting it to explode.
The scene cuts to the three of them on a couch, where Talia is sewing a button on a shirt by hand while the blonde girl from the intro naps peacefully next to her curled up with the twins, empty bowls of congee in front of everyone. The next scene is Talia hanging some laundry on a line outside in the yard before she is caught up by the fact Sasha is angrily chasing around Simba and Gio, who for some inexplicable reason are wearing her bras on their heads. Tohru shakes her in disappointment while Talia laughs and goes back to her linen hanging.
Several one second hinjink clips are shown next, such as what seems to be Talia attempting to figure out how to turn on a vacuum cleaner and Simba looking horrified at a whole burnt chicken covered in smoke which his sister is standing next to with a fire extinguisher and a not thrilled expression. There’s also, to no one's surprise, footage of Talia attempting to stop Gio from eating glue.
Evolution theme: Beat Hit
Tohru curls up into a fetal-like ball, where her ears seem to drape over her body and droop down into longer light purple white tipped ones. Her ears fold back to reveal a different rabbit dressed in a yellow Chinese garb, opening its eyes to reveal a stern, battle ready expression while two sharp dagger knuckle weapons are practically sear into the rabbit's red gloved fists. The scene shows her super punch a tree with the knuckles which quickly disintegrates into nothing just before she makes her introductory kung fu style pose.
The champion level rabbit appears to be doing kind of silent prayer before taking off running on all fours across a field, in which the running seems to be in sync with a physical change, they are moving so quickly the audience can’t see their body but can see much longer limbs in between the sprints before she does a backflip and fully reveals a transition to her ultimate, Andiramon. She shakes her neck slightly, revealing a collar and scarf which symbolizes her high status as a Deva digimon. She sticks her arms out where they morph into axes, the rabbit jump-slashing at the screen.
Simba uses his teeth to remove his red cloak, now floating, which he quickly blows a deep bout of dragon fire on. He leaps right through the flames without a second thought, somehow flawlessly slipping his head back up into the neck part of the cloak. His body appears to absorb the fire like magic, transitioning to that of a more grown up body as the flames disappear to reveal the sheen of Baohackmon scales. The scene cuts to his face before zooming out to his pose where he sits majestically, yet with a puppy-like wholesome expression.
Black digitized wings sprout out of Baohackmons back, where the red of his cloak suddenly morphs to cover that of his body like a skin before all of the Hackmon scales suddenly disappear. Fluffy red and white fur sprouts right out of the new skin, his tailing swinging to reveal the new gold point at the end. He dips his head where a black horn forms. Immediately the new form, Dorugreymon takes off into the sky and lands on a mountain top, letting out a deafening roar, flames spewing out in a circle around him.
