Post by Sumire Hijikata on Aug 8, 2021 2:23:25 GMT
Name: Hijikata Sumire
Alias: Sumi, That Girl, Dirtbag
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4
Weight: 115 lbs.
Birth Date: 2-12
Birth Place: Shibuya itself.
Skills/Talents:
Sneaky - Sumi is exceptionally silent when she wants to be, barely ever making a sound when she walks. This works pretty well when she wants to sneak up on someone, truth be told, but it also means she can seemingly pop up out of nowhere, when in truth she just walked someplace quietly.
Every Single Shady Thing In The Goddamn Book - Sumi has an alarming amount of knowledge on subversive tactics. Lockpicking? Sure. Shoplifting? Probably. Hotwiring things? Well, not YET...
Keen Learner - Sumi also has an eye for detail--she's able to quickly commit something to memory if it's not...y'know. Boring and/or useless. So long as it doesn't fulfill both of this criterion? Consider it recalled.
Backpack Contents:
Digivice: A Digivice iC. It looks something like what's pictured below.
Personality: Aloof. Standoffish. These are two words that one can easily utilize to describe the drifting enigma that is Hijikata Sumire. This girl legitimately loathes social activity to the point where she decided to get good at conversation solely so she can get it to end quicker. As such, she may well possess a silver tongue if she weren't so callous with how she approaches others, or is approached. Some may call this being a tsundere, but frankly, that term is nebulous as hell.
Sumire isn't very approachable, sure. She may be prone to lashing out at others, frequently, but whether or not this makes her a bad person is entirely...subjective, if such a word may be used for it. She's a little self-centered, only really bothering with the business of others if there's some tangible benefit to her, or if she's bored enough. Sumire does have a soft spot for animals, though. She loves dogs. She really, really loves dogs.
Appearance:
Despite the picture above informing otherwise, Sumire isn't actually found wearing black all that often. Her wardrobe, while limited, is not necessarily limited by colors, no. She dresses for comfort and practicality, first and foremost, so there are times when fashion aesthetic does not necessarily come to her. Be it a black coat to go with her cap, or a pink one, or beige and pink...Her appearance can vary in more ways than one. Just expect her to usually be wearing a hat.
Sumire herself is, despite her saying the exact opposite, actually a fairly healthy teenager for her age, boasting an average figure as well as height, on top of a head of reddish orange hair and striking blue eyes. Given Sumire looks annoyed at almost everything that crosses her path, though...Friendly may well be the last descriptor one may use for her. When visible, she does have a slight hint of athleticism to her.
Faceclaim: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn • Marida Cruz • Hijikata Sumire
Personal History: Sumire legitimately dislikes telling people of her history outside of the fact she's a Shibuya native through and through. Of course, nobody wants to really admit they come from a home where they're considered a latchkey kid, do they? Because that's really all anyone would manage to wrench out of Sumi when the subject is inquired upon.
It's a dubious tale. She was born to two people who were absolutely in love when she came along, but prior to that, it seemed that their relationship was shaky at best--something that the young Hijikata was a front row witness to as she grew from an infant into a child. She doesn't really recall when it was that they divorced, but it was early on. Four or...five? Five. Let's go with that.
It was ultimately not entirely conducive towards inspiring someone to do good in school--sure, you can excel even when coming from a troubled background, but such only came through rigorous effort. Effort that Sumire ultimately was able to put in despite everything seeming to be stacked against her, from her point of view. In actuality, it really wasn't. What never really helped was an interest in lockpicking as a hobby, plus subverting things that you aren't really supposed to tamper with.
Couple such a hobby with the fact she knew a few rotten eggs, and rumors spread about her--things about her being homeless or that her dad was with the Yakuza or some shit like that. Rumors that were quickly quashed with a swift beating, but rumors nonetheless.
It's overall a life of stagnancy, annoyance, and a lot of nothing. Perhaps the life of the thrillseeker would prove more fruitful than whatever this is.
Digimon Name: 'Jingo.' He doesn't really have a name, but he did pick this out so people didn't need to come up with one for him.
Default Form: Agumon G
Gender: Male.
Skills/Talents: He holds none, outside of basic survival skills. He bears a killer poker face, as well as the capability of whipping up a mean breakfast.
Personality: The green Agumon that goes by Jingo, per his tamer, is an aggressively neutral individual, personified by a dulled demeanor brought on by years upon years of reincarnation. He shows no particular expressions that betray how he's feeling, instead opting to remain silent if he can allow it and allow something to resolve by itself. Of course, this is only what Jingo'd want you to believe--he's really anything but neutral.
The Agumon is possessed of a fiery passion, even if his element doesn't strictly lead towards that, and though it can express itself in many ways, he simply holds a desire to live his life like any other lifeform he'd dare to come across. Those who would dare to commit themselves towards getting in his way are as good as dust to him, really. Supposedly, a good way to describe him in short, with that in mind?
Polite.
Yet firm.
Personal History: The tale of the green Agumon is a strange and old one that stretches back eons within the Digital World. It's said that the first iteration of this individual came from elsewhere to serve one of the Ten Legendary Warriors as a 'familiar,' yet ultimately broke away and fell to selfish vices. Somehow, some way, he ended up stranded within the Dark Area after a scuffle with a hero in his selfishness, and fell in with a would-be Demon Lord.
Betrayal ensued. Lives were fought over. Friendships were made, adventures had, yet tragedy still struck and ended his life. Yet it began anew, again and again.
His legend was lost to time.
Now there's only Jingo! Which isn't really that bad, it's nice to exist sometimes. His name's actually Gigo, but the person looking after him now misheard it as Jingo and insists it's that.

Abilities: [4 Abilities Max]
Fire Is For Chuds [Passive]: 30% resistance towards fire. Because you pyromaniacs don't deserve nice things.
Wild Down: A full force tackle with all of Agumon G's body weight that attempts to knock an enemy down. This attack not only immobilizes for a turn, but also grows stronger if the opponent has a debuff on them. Three post cooldown.
Bubble Claw: Infusing his claws with the power of the deep, Agumon G leaps for a single foe to slam the claw into them! This inflicts a sudsy debuff that leaves them with 50% less defense for two turns. Two post cooldown!
Waterbreath: A highly pressurized jet of water that, surprisingly, deals heavy damage for a rookie. It can be sustained for an additional turn for piercing, and an additional turn of cooldown. One post cooldown normally. Two post if sustained.
Gyre Spume [RAM Upgrade]: Agumon G focuses before generating a set of six mines composed of saltwater, the mines scattering across the field for two turns. Should a foe come into contact with them, the mines will detonate in a hail of frozen, salty fury. Three post cooldown.
Saltspire [RAM Upgrade]: Agumon G slams a claw into the ground as a literal jagged spire of SALT shoots up to try skewering a foe upon it briefly. This grows more effective as he's injured. Two post cooldown.
