It had been a pretty crazy series of events for Kaori and Saori Tachibana. The twin sisters started today like any other day; waking up amidst their crazy big family in their cramped apartment, booking it to school together, talking to friends, then walking home while Saori listened to Kaori go on and on about the supernatural, just like any other day. Neither of them could've expected that the supernatural would come to them, in the form of a yellow dinosaur and a wolf pelt wearing lizard named Flame and Frost respectively.
The Tachibana twins had it explained to them that Flame and Frost were Digimon, monsters made up entirely of digital data, and they came from a world that's the same way: the Digital World. A world made up entirely of data, completely separate from human society. Not only that, but the twins each gained a new phone that acted as a "Digivice," a device that connected Kaori and Saori with Flame and Frost respectively.
And to get a better understanding of how all this worked, they all needed to take a trip... a trip to the Digital World itself.
How they got there was not important; by portal, by Trailmon, whatever. All that mattered was that the four of them now found themselves in the great Network Plains, a pleasant and peaceful green field that surrounded the capital of the Digital World: Terminus City. "Whooaaaa... so this is the Digital World?" Kaori asked, super intrigued by all that she was seeing.
"Yep yep yep!" Flame proudly said, pounding his chest. "And don't worry, this place doesn't have any vicious Fangmons like the ones chasing us earlier!"
"This place looks... a lot like Earth," Saori quietly said. "I was expecting something more... fantastical."
"Earth has floating islands like the ones up there, Saori?" Frost asked, pointing up to the sky.
"Huh...?" Saori sweatdropped as she looked up and saw the floating islands. "I need time to accept... ALL of this..."

Well, the network plains again. Usually you had to go through here to get pretty much anywhere you wanted in the digital world. Either that or buy a trailmon ticket but thanks to a certain someone spending all the bits they made on a buncha card games the twins were currently broke. "You know we could've just asked Cici for some extra cash, I'm sure she would've given it to us." Beta reminded echoing her twins thoughts for a moment.
"I really didn't want to tell her we wasted all the money we got from that mission on a buncha cards." That seemed like it would be a very embarrassing route to go through, so best to just ignore it and pretend it never happened! "Besides walking is good for you anyway, we do need to try and increase our strength after all. We don't want to go through another situation like Thunderbirdmon right?" Beta gave a small nod, that wouldn't be fun to deal with again.
But as they started walking into the plains they noticed another group standing in front of them, blinking for a few moment Alpha let out a small sigh and started to walk the other direction. "C'mon Beta, best not to get in their.... Beta?" Glancing around he noticed his sister was nowhere to be seen, yes just as he should've figured she was already over to the pair of humans and digimon.
"Hi! I'm Beta." She said with a friendly wave as she came up to the four of them, Alpha facepalmed wondering why she was so keen on introducing herself to everyone, he decided to hang back a bit though and see what their reaction to her would be.

"Do you think we could get up to those floating islands at all somehow?" Kaori asked now that she has been made aware of their existence.
"Probably not since I dunno how to fly yet," Flame responded in a weirdly casual manner. Saori wasn't a fan of how confident Flame seemed that he would be able to learn how to fly at some point.
Kaori pulled out her smartphone Digivice, opening up the camera app in order to take a picture of the floating islands. "So cool! Our new digi-phones even take really good pictures!"
"Just be sure no one back home sees that picture," Saori said as she looked away. "I'd rather not have to explain how the heck we ended up taking a picture of actual floating islands."
"Easy; we just tell them it's CG!" Kaori suggested. That was when any conversation they had was interrupted by what Kaori thought was the most adorable interruption ever. This little dragon with red eyes and a red cape came right up to them, saying that her name was Beta. You could practically see the sparkles in Kaori's eyes as she got on her knees and crawled up closer to the dragon. "Oh my gosh, you're so adorable! I'm Kaori, and the yellow dinosaur is my partner Flame, it's so nice to meet you!"
"I'm an Agumon, Kaori! An Agumon!"
"Don't get so up close and personal like that, Kaori," Saori scolded her sister. "For all you know she could bite you at any second."
"Come on Saori, would a cute little dragon like this come up and introduce herself, only to bite us right afterwards?"
"That does sound quite far fetched, Saori..."
"Shut up, Frost." That was when the group noticed the other dragon in the area. One in a blue cloak this time, its face darkened by the hood... and he was really giving the twins some very creepy vibes with the way he was just watching from afar like that.
"Um... Beta, was it?" Kaori asked, "Do you know that... Digimon over there?"

Beta had no idea what to expect when she went over and said hi, but apparently she was adorable. Wasn't the look she was usually going for but she was fine with taking the compliment. "Thank you, it's nice to meet you four." After that though a question came up about Beta biting them, which caused the Hackmon to tilt her head to the side confused. "Bite? Why would I bite you. That'd hurt a lot and sounds pretty mean." Beta seemed just as confused at the far fetched idea as everyone else.
However their eyes naturally gravitated to Alpha, asking her if she knew that digimon over there. Making her way quickly over to her brother and wrapped her arm around him bringing him. (Dragging him.) Over to meet them. "Of course I do, this is my twin brother, Alpha." Beta said with her usual smile as she let go of him. "He's a bit shy around new people." That was probably a bit of a lie.
"I'm not shy, just not as trusting as you Beta." Though they seemed young and human so the chances they worked for Myotismon were pretty slim, Alpha could probably afford to let his guard down a bit for now. "But yeah, I'm Alpha. Also Beta I can walk just fine myself." He complained looking at his sister, though from the tone of voice he used it sounded like this wasn't the first time this has happened.
"C'mon, it's fine. So anyway what brings you to the digital world.... Also you two look a lot alike." That part just seemed to click for Beta, she was pretty caught up in the moment before, Alpha sighed shaking his head slightly, she really needed to start paying more attention to her surroundings.

Even Beta had to ask why Saori thought that she would bite them. Saori huffed and crossed her arms. "Because you're not human. You're all just... weird monsters that somehow know how to speak perfect Japanese. Plus Frost said he and Flame were chased by something called Fang."
"Saori, be nice," Kaori said to her sister. She looked back at Beta. "Saori's actually a really sweet person, she just can't accept that monsters AND magic are actually real after all those years of her telling me otherwise. She just can't handle being wrong."
"YOU WHAT," Saori yelled, storming up to her. "That is NOT what this is about at all!"
"That's what it seems to be like for me, sis~"
"Oh Yggdrasil, please don't argue again," Flame groaned.
"We're supposed to all be a team, are we not? We will not get very far and will most likely die if the arguing does not cease." After Frost said that, Saori looked visibly more worried, sweating bullets and twisting her hair a great deal. Frost frantically tried to fix his mistake. "W-Wait, Saori, I-I didn't mean it like that!"
"You're just not as in sync with her as I am with Kaori, bro~"
Once he was discovered, Beta would walk over and drag the other cloaked Digimon over to meet the others, whose name was Alpha and was apparently Beta's twin brother. Alpha stated that he wasn't shy much like Beta claimed him to be, just that he was untrusting of strangers. "Well at least someone gets how I feel," Saori quietly said.
Beta asked the group what brought them to the Digital World, before casually commenting how the girls looked alike. They both sweatdropped before Kaori spoke up. "Well apparently we got these Digivice phone thingies, and it told us that we were paired with Flame and Frost here, so they decided we should see the Digital World. And we... have no idea what we're doing at all!" She said that last part with a smile and a thumbs up, with Flame mimicking her.
"That is not something you should brag about," Frost commented as he and Saori stared at the two like they were crazy.
"And as for why we look alike," Saori continued, "Kaori and I are twin sisters, much like... the rest of you here." It's really just settling in how much of a coincidence it was to have three pairs of twins all meet up in the same location...

At Saori's words Beta seemed to, pretty much be taken aback. Smile fading and she just looked at the ground. "I'm, I'm not weird or a monster." The Hackmon seemed pretty hurt by that. "I'm not weird am I Alpha?" She asked looking at Alpha, waiting for his input on it.
"Course not, I ain't weird either. They're probably just new to this place Beta, I've heard all kinds of reactions to humans discovering this place." Alpha paused for a moment before continuing. "Mostly screaming now that I think of it." But then they seemed to be arguing a bit on what was going on.
Beta seemed to completely forget she was sad just a moment ago, tilting her head and asking. "Does this happen often?" Judging by the words Flame said that would be a yes, it was a bit weird for Beta to see arguing first hand! New experiences for the win.
"Well if you're new here you should probably stick to around here, either that or go to the east it's pretty safe there." Alpha advised figuring he should at least show a bit of kindness, if they were going to be the first digimon they encounter here best make sure they don't think all of them will chase or bite em.
"Huh, Alpha you're helping strangers out?" Beta asked seemingly genuinely shocked by this.
"Huh? I do all the time what's with the shocked look? Is it that odd that I'm offering some advice?" He didn't really expect Beta to call him out like that, she was getting a lot more bold lately.
"Yes." She said without a moments hesitation.
"I'll just blame you and Coal for that, both of you seem to help at a moments notice, figured I'd try it also." Now Alpha was a little embarrassed, looking away from the group.

"Your entire kind is weird, not just you," Saori said, as if that was going to help cheer Beta up. "Beings made of digital polygons are, by my definition, weird. And you're all literally monsters. Digital Monsters, right? So yes, you're all weird monsters."
"While accurate... that is a fairly mean way to describe us, Saori," Frost commented. When Beta's brother Alpha attempted to cheer her up, saying that the twins were probably new and that he'd seen plenty of humans' first reactions to Digimon... which mostly involved screaming. "Our partners definitely screamed when they met us."
"For different reasons. Kaori couldn't get over how overwhelmingly pretty I was, and Saori cowered over to the other side of the bridge we were on at the time. We jumped to the human world to escape this thing that wanted to eat us, you probably know the drill."
Once the twin girls were done arguing, Alpha suggested that the group stick to the area they were in for now since they were still pretty new, or at least go to the east. This prompted Beta to call out Alpha on his willingness to help strangers, which it seemed like he did not do very often. Flame and Frost chuckled at that while Kaori and Saori both sweatdropped. "Yeah, I pegged you for the type to not be very friendly," Kaori said to Alpha.
"Wh-what's over in the east, do you know...?" Saori asked the Hackmon twins.
"Could there be food over in the east?"
"Flame, stop thinking with your stomach."
"But we haven't had anything to eat since before we were being chased. I'm starved!"
"Of course you need to eat..." Saori said with a sigh as she facepalmed.
"I guess food is on the agenda for now," Kaori happily said with a slight wink. "Alpha, Beta, do you guys wanna help us at all?"

Beta seemed confused for a moment, then almost as if a lightbulb went off in her head she nodded. "Oh, that's what Digimon stands for. Thinking on it now it makes a ton more sense." The fact she didn't know that didn't seem to surprise Alpha in the slightest, though it made sense given that term rarely came up in conversation, plus Digimon was a lot more snazzy. Neither twin thought that it's just the truth.
"You know you keep calling us weird, but to us you humans are pretty strange creatures yourselves." This was something Alpha had thought for a while, he didn't really. Get humans, like what they really did and how they lived.
"Yeah Cici says you don't evolve, Can't fly without some large metal thing. And you don't have digital cores! Pretty weird to me." Then again she didn't really know much about the human world except that it existed, also that they shouldn't go there till she knew more about how to properly act... Whatever that meant.
Then they decided to mention Alpha not being very friendly. "I'm only wary about stuff I think might be a threat, which. No offence, I'm not exactly getting that vibe from you all." Though he shook his head a bit and decided to explain further. "Plus Terminus is pretty close so I'm a bit more relaxed. Probably the safest place to be around." Also if they screamed they were 100% sure Ciel would bust out of the ground or something to save them.
"To the east are some hills, a place called Rosewood and the Village of beginnings, which is where most kid digimon go. It's pretty safe around there, some knights patrol the place regularly." Though the last encounter Alpha had with one such knight... Well best not mention that.
"Our friend Coal is the daughter of their captain! She's really nice." Beta chimed in remembering that fact, Alpha didn't think it needed to be mentioned but hey here we are.
Then they asked for help, which Beta seemed to nod eagerly while looking over at Alpha who seemed less sure about that. "I mean, I guess we can help. Just don't expect us to pay for all the food. We don't exactly have a stable income or anything." Not that anyone would hire them for regular jobs usually but still the offer to help was nice.

Kaori, Saori, Flame and Frost all just slowly turned their heads towards Beta when she made that realization, all four of them sweatdropping in the process. "Did... did you seriously not know what Digimon stood for?" Frost asked, his poor Gabumon brain just plain old not willing to accept that a DIGIMON didn't know what the word Digimon stood for. Even someone like Saori who detested Digimon knew it meant Digital Monster.
"Even I managed to piece it together, and I'm as dumb as a rock," Flame added.
Though Saori had called Digimon weird before, Alpha and Beta admitted that they found humans weird since they couldn't evolve, fly without airplanes, and didn't have digicores. "Having all those things is what makes you weird," Saori countered, "though we do actually evolve. Just... in a different sense than a Digimon. We evolve over time instead of... however you guys do it."
"Yeah!" Kaori added. "For a single human, we start out as teeny tiny cute babies that can't walk or talk, or anything! Then we grow up, getting taller and learning how to do more and more things!"
Saori would be the one to finish this little lesson. "And as for our race as a whole, we evolve through multiple generations to best adapt to our situation, gaining more strength and having a higher life expectancy, for example."
"I never knew that about humans before," Frost said as he and Flame clapped.
"It's different from us Digimon but it makes sense for creatures with no powers like you two!"
In response to being deemed as not friendly, Alpha claimed that he was only wary about danger, stating that he didn't sense any from the two other pairs of twins, which they seemed was fair enough. He also mentioned that Terminus was probably the safest place in the Digital World. "I vote we stay around Terminus for now then," Saori said. "I really don't wanna meet what was chasing Flame and Frost in the wild."
"Perhaps the smartest option," Frost said with a smile and a nod. "But do not worry, Saori. I will make sure you stay safe in this world. You'll get used to us soon enough."
"I doubt it," Saori said with a sigh as she crossed her arms. Though what she didn't tell anyone was that... she kinda did hope she could get used to it, if only to get along better with Frost.
Alpha also mentioned another city to the east called Rosewood, which was protected by a group of knights. Kaori comedically pushed Saori and Frost aside like in an anime to get closer to Alpha, her eyes practically glimmering. "Did you say knights?! Like, the kind that save princesses from towers and marry you so you can live live happily ever after?! Is there a knight like that?!"
"Kaori, those are fairy tales," Saori reminded her as she placed a hand on her shoulder. "From movies where the animals can talk and everyone sings what they feel. We may be in a literal Digital World but some stuff is still fantasy." At least Alpha and Beta accepted Kaori's invitation to go along with them, stating that they can't exactly pay for all the food. "Wait... this world has a currency?"
"We need money here, too...?"
"Guess we gotta starve for now," Agumon said with a sad expression as he held his head down low.
"Maybe not..." Saori mentioned as she pulled out her smartphone Digivice. "Whoever gave us these... these things probably would've left some money with us, right? How do I... find out how much we have?"

Ahh yes Beta's lack of knowledge getting them in trouble again, time for Alpha to sort this out in the best way possible. "There's a good reason Beta didn't know that, a reason the both of us would REALLY rather not get into right now." There seemed to be a bit of weight to his words and the quick nod from Beta would probably inform them well enough to drop the matter right now.
Apparently though having those things made the twins weird, Alpha just let out a small sigh and shrugged realizing there was probably zero chance of him winning this war of weird. "Hey, to each their own I suppose." He found them weird, she found them weird. Best to just leave it at that.
Though the second part about humans evolving like that did peak Beta's ears. "Oh, guess we do have something in common. We span like that also. Our dad was the biggest strongest Mega around apparently. We got his eyes and we're gonna be even stronger." Definitely on a large scale but it was somewhat similar.
"Though higher life expectancy. Does that mean we're also gonna live around 200 years?" That was definitely a long time, also he didn't realize he just casually dropped the fact that their dad was around 200 years old.
Though with what was hunting them Beta seemed to smile. "Aww, I'm sure we could take em out if they bother you again, right Alpha?" She seemed pretty confidant that she could, which didn't seem to be shared by her brother.
"Would rather not find out, we have enough on our plate without having to deal with stuff like that." He was right, just looking for fights wouldn't help anyone, especially the twins.
Then Kaori got in Alpha's face asking about the knights. "Err, I mean I don't know any personally who'd do that but I imagine they'd save you?" Marrying though was another thing entirely.
While they were trying to figure out their money situation there was someone standing nearby behind Alpha and Beta that no one probably would've noticed until now. "It should be labeled as Bits on those devices." She said chiming in making her presence known.
"Oh, hi Mom!" Beta said having heard Ciel's voice from behind, it was easy to recognize.
"Hey m...m.... Ciel. Hey Ciel." Ever since finding out all that stuff at Weston's house the two of them had decided to start calling her their mother instead of her name but Alpha still just couldn't for now.

Apparently the reason for Beta not knowing what Digimon meant was so good that, according to Alpha, they didn't wanna talk about it right now. The teenage girls just glanced at each other and shrugged; they didn't really have a reason to dive deeper into that reason anyways. Still, it was a bit odd for a Digimon to not know that the term stood for Digital Monsters. They just assumed that she was... er... lacking in the smarts department. Like Kaori and Flame!
Beta mentioned how their dad was the strongest Mega level Digimon around. Whether they forgot or needed a quick reminder, both human twins turned to face Frost as if asking for an explanation. The Gabumon sighed as he crossed his arms. "Mega is the second highest rank of the Digivolution cycle and is equally the second strongest, only overshadowed by the rare Super Mega level which is not all too common in the Digital World."
"Your partner is much smarter than mine, Saori," Kaori commented.
"Hey! ...actually yeah, that's true."
Wait... Digimon can live up to two hundred years? "In our world you're extremely lucky if you reach ninety," Saori said. "With that being said I'm definitely going to be the twin that lasts the longest."
"Wh-wh-whaaaa?!"
"Don't act like you're not going to end up winning a Darwin Award, Kaori, because you definitely are."
"What's a Darwin Award?"
"A joke award given to those who somehow manage to off themselves in a really dumb way," Saori responded. "Based off of the saying, 'Evolution is survival of the fittest,' so clearly the least fit ones help our genepool by removing themselves from it. Morbid, yeah, but it's pretty funny reading the many ways people manage to kill themselves by mistake." Both Flame and Frost just stared at Saori as if they had just heard the most horrible thing in existence... "What? I didn't come up with it, I'm just answering your question."
On the subject about the knights, Kaori didn't get the answer she was quite hoping for. Alpha didn't know any of them but he was at least sure they'd save her. "Maybe I can meet one and get them to fall for my beautiful face and wonderful personality!" Kaori said with a smirk as she rubbed her chin.
"Wonderful is the last word I'd use to describe your personality," Saori deadpanned.
The twins started checking their Digivice phones to see if there was a way to check how much money the two of them had. While they were struggling to do that, a sudden voice told them it should be labeled as "Bits" on their Digivices. That caused the two girls to scream and cower behind their respective Digimon, who also looked like they were recovering from the sudden surprise. It turned out that they had nothing to worry about though; it was just Alpha and Beta's mother, Ciel! "...you look nothing like them though," Kaori commented. "Did you adopt them?"
"Ignore my sister," Saori intervened. "I'm Saori and that's Kaori, and these are our partners Flame and Frost, it's wonderful to meet you. Did you say something about money being labeled as 'bits'?"
With Ciel's guidance, the sisters looked on their phones again and found the "Bits" counter. Each twin had three thousand bits. "Is... is three thousand good or bad in this world?" Kaori asked.
"Three thousand in Yen would be plenty but I am unsure how much things cost in the Digital World," Saori added.
"It'll definitely be enough for some food! Let's go already!"
"Would you all like to join us?" Frost asked Alpha, Beta and Ciel. "You seem to know more about Terminus than we do. We'd be lost in such a big city."

Alpha was going to explain what Mega was but Frost seemed to have it covered, so the Hackmon just replied with a shrug and a "Yup, though I guess that poses the question of could he go Super Mega?" Alpha mused mostly to himself wondering, he was very aware on how little they actually knew about his father, just another thing to be unaware of.
"Well he was always in his Mega form right? So it probably isn't too far fetched." Her logic was sound, after all you'd have to be pretty strong and have a lot of endurance to be in your Mega form all the time, but that was a conversation for another time. The other set of twins seemed to be talking about someone named Darwin. Listening in the explanation sounded a bit, no actually it sounded pretty bad. It seemed to leave Beta in a small silence, with probably at least a hint of judging behind it but the Hackmon wouldn't confirm that.
Alpha on the other hand was a bit weirded out but figured it was just some human thing and elected to ignore it. "Just don't put yourself in harms way so they hafta bail you out, pretty sure you'd qualify for those awards if you tried that." That probably didn't need to be said but he said it anyway.
Meanwhile Ciel manages to scare yet another group of people talking to Alpha and Beta. "Do you have to sneak up everytime?" Beta questions implying that this is definitely not the first time this has happened.
"I don't do it on purpose, I'm just naturally silent." The remark made about her not looking like them made sense, though not in the way Ciel was going to explain it! "Lets just say they take a lot more after their father then me, especially their eyes." With introductions though she smiled and gave a small nod. "A pleasure to meet you four, My name is Ciel." Ciel just had her normal gear on, holding her sword in her right hand, neither the gauntlets or her gun was on her at the moment.
3000 bits was a decent amount. "It's good, most stuff costs way less then that." Heck you could get a grappling hook for that cash.
With joining them though Beta seemed to spring up. "Yeah we'll join you, Right?" Beta looked expectantly at her twin and Ciel.
Alpha seemed to think for a moment before just sighing, seeing this Ciel seemed to chime in. "You two do need rest days after all, can't just be training all the time." Alpha groaned slightly at the reminder.
"Yeah, Yeah I know. Sure I'll come too." Seemed the three of them were on board.

"Different ranks of Digimon in terms of power level?" Saori asked for confirmation, earning a nod from Frost . "Huh, I think I actually sort of understand it."
"You do?" Frost asked, happy yet surprised that she was able to understand it after simply one explanation.
"Yeah, it reminds me of a human world game called Pokemon. In that game, the creatures evolve from a baby stage, to a middle stage, and to a final stage, sometimes even a stage after that, and they get stronger and grow more after each evolution." The mental image of bringing home a ten foot tall wolf back home then entered Saori's mind. "Though I have no clue how we'd explain it to Mom and Dad afterwards..."
"Well it's a good thing that Digivolution isn't permanent," Flame announced. "Convenient, isn't it? I get to be fun sized AND I get to be a super cool powerful Digimon too. Best'a both worlds!"
"Though I never heard of a Digimon who stayed in their Mega form as the default. Champion and Ultimate, yes, but Mega...?"
Kaori could tell that Alpha and Beta were just as weirded out by the Darwin Awards as Flame and Frost were. Alpha just responded by saying to not put themselves in harm's way. "Well duh, no one WANTS to win a Darwin Award," Kaori responded, "That's, like, one of the most embarrassing things to be remembered by. It's just a way to make fun of the people who were dumb enough to go out like that."
After recovering from the shock of Ciel's sudden arrival (which Beta said was a common thing for her,) she responded to Kaori's comment by saying that Alpha and Beta took more after their father, especially with the eyes. "Their eyes?" Kaori asked as she and the others looked into Alpha's and Beta's eyes. They were both a bright shade of red. "Did their father have red eyes too?"
"Anyways, it is nice to meet you, Ciel. I'm Saori, and this is my sister Kaori. And our partners here are Flame and Frost."
"Howdy!" "A pleasure to meet you."
The girls' and Digimons' hopes piped up when they were told that they had plenty of cash on them. When asked to join the group, Alpha seemed a bit hesitant at first, before sighing and saying that he'd come along too. "You don't have to join us if you don't want to Alpha, but we do just need a guide through the city," Saori said.
"So the Digtial World has, like, restaurants and stuff, right?" Kaori asked. "Do you guys know any good ones?"

Beta tilted her head to the side for a moment as Saori compared this to a game. "Pokemon?" Beta repeated for a moment before continuing. "Pocket Monsters?" She added figuring she'd try and put the same spin on that word that Digimon had, though she wasn't too confidant in that answer it did sound right to her at least. She looked at Alpha who just kinda shrugged not having the slightest clue what a Pokemon was.
"Yeah we don't really know why he was like that, though I guess if you can stay in a form like that all the time might as well." Alpha didn't understand Jes still despite being his kid apparently, it'd probably take a while. "Heck it'd be great if either of us could go into Mega level at all." Alpha muttered something about solving problems under his breath, definitely too quiet to hear though.
But now Ciel was here and mentioned Alpha and Beta's eyes, which made Kaori lean in to get a better look at the two of them. "Yup, he was known as the Red-Eyed Hero, no one knew why his eyes were that color. Never even told me." Though that was probably due to a lack of time on his part she thought.
They noticed Alpha's reluctance, which he shook his head a moment. "Nah, it's not that I don't want to, just. Nevermind, forget I said anything." Ciel and Beta seemed like they were quick to forget what happened with Thunderbirdmon but it was still in his head... Maybe he was just overthinking it all.
"Yeah, it has a ton of different places. There's a noodle shop I usual go to. It's pretty good though the own is a bit... Loud." If that was fine with them Ciel would lead the group towards the city and towards the place.

Kaori and Saori were both impressed and surprised to hear Alpha make that connection of what Pokemon stood for. She must've figured that it was a similar situation to "Digimon," which it honestly was. Kaori smiled and clapped while Saori smirked, crossing her arms. "Wow, you learn fast," she said. "That is definitely what Pokemon means."
"Oh, a Pokemon is kinda like a Digimon in a way," Kaori explained, realizing that Alpha and Beta would have no clue what they are. "Cute little creatures with super powers. Only it's like the BIGGEST think in our world, and there's no need to keep them secret!"
"Most likely because they are not real," Frost commented, "unlike us Digimon."
Alpha said he was unsure why their father would stay in a form that powerful all the time, other than a "why not" scenario. "If I could go Mega, I feel like I'd be too hungry to stay like that for very long," Flame commented as he covered his belly.
"Ditto," Frost responded, covering his own belly. "Staying Digivolved is not easy at all... from what we've heard, at least."
Not only did Alpha and Beta's father have red eyes, he was known for having them, being called the "Red-Eyed Hero" of all things. "Wow, what a title," Saori said in response.
"We... don't really have parents, ourselves," Flame admitted. "Our egg just appeared in the Village of Beginnings one day. No one came to claim us as their children, though."
"Oh, you poor things," Kaori cooed, feeling bad for the two lizard Digimon.
"The caretaker was our parent, in a way," Frost said, patting his brother on the back. "It wasn't all rough. Even after we left the village. Never occurred to us that we'd have partners who were twins themselves, though."
Alpha seemed reluctant to go with them at first, but eventually just claimed that it was nothing. The twins didn't feel a need to press further all too much, so it was decided to venture into Terminus City and hopefully find something to eat. Ciel said there was a noodle shop there that she usually went to. "A Digital World noodle shop..." Saori said as she pondered. "Let's go there. I'm interested in seeing how different it is from a noodle shop in the human world."
"Aren't noodle shops usually tiny though?" Kaori asked. "There are seven of us, after all."
"Good point..." Saori looked over at Alpha, Beta and Ciel. "Do you know how big this noodle shop is, or should we go to a bigger restaurant? Or even takeout, if that's even a thing in this world."
