Hans didn't say anything as there was no time for that. Instead, he ran after Lothar and asked Kshin to follow him by a hand gesture, while Kitsune will be following them by jumping from a roof to a roof. Being an extremely nimble digimon, it didn't cost almost anything for her as she was doing that as easily as it could be. For the same reason, she was going faster than her master, eventually reaching the place where Mandrake and his foe have landed. However, Walzman decided not to interfere with what he was seeing as he arrived by the time Leomon started to do something. He simply wasn't sure if he has to or if that would make any sense. In addition, he commanded his Renamon to hide with one of Ninjutsu signs and strike only when her assistance will be absolutely required. That Leomon seems to have no issues in dealing with the villain, so Walzman and Kitsune stayed behind a wall and see what will happen next. Kshin, on the other hand, could freely proceed forward.

Kshin, who was still disguised, tucked himself just out of sight standing near Hans while he watched Lothar fling FlameWizardmon. Then Lothar went over to Mandrake and knelt down checking his boyfriend for injuries finding scratches and bruises but no serious injuries. Seeing that made Lothar calm down before turning his gaze on where he flung FlameWizardmon seeing the vengence driven digimon push himself up and dust himself off. Now wielding two match resembling staffs, FlameWizardmon glared at Lothar and said "Stay out of this you dumb brute! This doesn't concern you!"
Lothar angrily glared before rising to his feet and turning to face FlameWizardmon and said "Considering you cast a spell on my boyfriend for the purpose of murdering him while he was helpless to defend himself it becomes my concern." Lothar's muscles tensed as he readied for battle and he briefly looked back at Mandrake, who began moving out of the line of fire, before looking back at FlameWizardmon.
"If I have to take you down to finish my business then so be it." FlameWizardmon said as his staffs lit ablaze showing he was also ready for battle. "Just so you know I won't let you get ahold of me again so easily." Mandrake spotted Hans and Kshin and scrambled over to them and turned to watch the fight about to happen.
Lothar clenched his fist tight while a pale blue lion shaped aura formed around his fist as he drew it back before he said "Fist of the Beast King!" He then launched the lion shaped aura forth with a mighty punch sending hurtling at FlameWizardmon.
FlameWizardmon brought his two match stick staffs together as he said "Flame Cloud!" From the flaming staffs a searing cloud shot out at Lothar's Fist of the Beast King the two attacks colliding with explosive force the shockwave rattling both combatants sending up a cloud of black soot in the eyes of both digimon causing them to back away coughing to clear their lungs of the irritant.

Right when Leomon and FlameWizardmon exchanged their attacks, Hans has immediately ordered his partner to attack the enemy. However, as her master had taught her, Kitsune has to strike when a foe doesn't expect. That reflects in her offensive abilities, thus she used a wall to get some acceleration for getting airborne and launched her attack behind the hostile Digimon's back, aiming for its head.
"DIAMOND STORM!". Kitsune announced, sending a wave of kunai-like leaves into Leomon's opponent. Because of the distance and attack's spread, not all of the leaves will hit the Demon Man digimon. But if that will distract him, that should give some time to Leomon for his another round of assault. And this is where Renamon's job will get be done. But if that doesn't help, the vixen had some surprises beneath her sleeve, so to speak. Those ones the virus digimon won't be able to ignore for sure.
The only problem is that the skirmish was happening inside an urban location. It was an advantage for the fox as she could use it as a cover, but if attacks going to be too intensive, it might attract people's attention. Hans had no idea if people in Shibuya got used to seeing digimons every day, but there are sure will be problems if the police arrive. So while Renamon was on the battlefield, Walzman was thinking about how to fall back in the worst scenario.

As FlameWizardmon's coughing ceased he felt Renamon's Diamond Storm once again wincing in pain he turned an angry glare toward the agile fox before turning in an attempt to incinerate her with his Flame Cloud. However Lothar was faster leaping at FlameWizardmon grabbing the fire wielding magician and restraining him in a hammer lock.
Mandrake saw an evil grin appear on FlameWizardmon's face despite being restrained and it didn't sit right with him one bit. Then as the evil sorcerer began turning black Mandrake shouted "Lothar let go of him!"
However the warning seemed to late as FlameWizardmon said "Dark Light!" The darkness that enveloped FlameWizardmon shot out catching Lothar by surprise causing the Leomon to release FlameWizardmon with a startled cry and it took everything in Mandrake to keep him from running to Lothar in an attempt to help him. As frustrating as it was Mandrake knew there was little he could do to help his boyfriend.
When Lothar released his grip on FlameWizardmon the Leomon's hands went to his face as if trying to clear his vision but the Dark Light attack had left him blind and wide open for attack. Kshin wasn't liking how things were looking and deactivated his holosuit revealing his true form of Gumdramon. The rookie level dragon, though scared moved to stand in front of Mandrake in an attempt to protect him. "Kshin, get back!" Mandrake said in a paternal tone but Kshin only shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Mandrake, but I can't just stand by and let FlameWizardmon hurt you." Kshin said sounding as scared as he looked since FlameWizardmon was walking towards them ignoring Lothar in his vulnerable state.
"Move aside, boy. This does not concern you." FlameWizardmon said in mild annoyance seeing Kshin swishing his tail aggressively.
"Yes it does. You plan on murdering one of my adopted parents and I won't let you." Kshin said shaking with fear but standing his ground.
FlameWizardmon just laughed and said "I doubt you have been a rookie long so move unless you want to be incinerated along with your caretaker."
"No!"
At this point Mandrake couldn't just stand by and watch anymore as he moved in front of Kshin in an effort to protect him despite his helpless state. "That's enough, FlameWizardmon, I'm the one you want so leave the others alone!"

The current situation becomes much direr than Hans predicted and with the Leomon temporally disabled, its outcome now was depending on Renamon. Obviously, she was no match for FlameWizardmon, but she wasn't aiming to destroy him. Because at her level it was pointless. Instead, recalling Hans' teachings about being deceptive, the vixen has quickly rushed to the fiend in an attempt to switch his attention on herself. To make it even more annoying, she decided to hit him while he was focused on the duo. She wanted to turn this fight for the FlameWizardmon into a nightmare.
"KORENKYAKU!". The vixen announced, spinning and aiming into the foe's back on the go. However, she performed the move not too far from the enemy as her original intent is to force FlameWizardmon to react. She didn't care even if her attempt to hit was successful, the vixen wanted to create an illusion of her intentions first. So then Kitsune will keep running as it was part of her combat style as for a rookie digimon, she was somewhat fragile. And so her dexterity was her sword and shield. No one had hit her so far, and so deep inside her, she was afraid if she can recover quickly enough after being hit.

FlameWizardmon smirked at Mandrake's willingness to offer himself like a pig to the slaughter all in the name of protecting the others around him. FlameWizardmon brought his match like staffs together before he said "How noble of you to just give yourself up like that and make things easier for me. I'll be sure to pass that message onto your father when I leave your human ashes outside the Village of Magic. Flame C-"
FlameWizardmon never got the attack off as a series of high speed kicks struck his back knocking him of balance making him almost drop his staffs in surprise before regaining his balance and whirling around. "Stay out of my business you annoying little vixen. Magic Ignition!" FlameWizardmon yelled in fury as a large fireball magically formed above his head before launching it at Renamon.
It was then that Kshin, despite Mandrake's efforts to protect him, dashed out from behind Mandrake as he was determined to not sit there and do nothing. "Fire Vortex!" Kshin said as he leapt at FlameWizardmon before he began summersaulting at high speed in a path headed directly for the fire user. His body connecting setting FlameWizardmon ablaze.

Renamon's feint worked just as expected and she was able to see that by herself. But she got distracted on her foe a bit longer and running at high velocity, stumbled upon a tree knot, sending the fox in the air. That has saved her from being by the Magic Ignition, but rendered her non-functional for a while. Because even it didn't cause much damage, collision with the knot caught her by surprise. Of course, Hans didn't know if digimons have bones or joints which can be broken, so he immediately rushed to Kitsune to check her. Being loyal to his warfare art, he was performing a rolling dodge almost every step to avoid FlameWizardmon attacks, in case he picked the guy as his target. Both hoped that trick has provided enough time for Kshin to punch the foe and for Lothar to return to the fight.
"I'm fine, thanks. Help me with that.". The fox said as Hans approached Kitsune, who was getting on her feet. Then she asked her master to help her get on the tree, from where she'll continue to tease the fire version of Wizardmon. Hans did so by folding his hands together, forming sort of a step, since the tree was high and Renamon couldn't get there on her own with one jump. This is where teamwork happened, letting the fox accomplish part of her plan. The second part of that was to jump on a building's wall, which she decided to execute right away, continuing to making fun of FlameWizardmon. "Missed me?"
Now with the hostile digimon attention split in two, their chances to win have doubled. However, Renamon was in doubt if that was important to the pyromaniac and hoped he won't decide to attack Mandrake with two other digimons, wanting his head. Hans knew that too and relocated closer to the disguised digimon, getting ready to act in case of emergency. After all, he was trained for that.

FlameWizardmon howled in pained fury as he frantically patted the flames out. Then he spotted Kshin coming at him hammer tail raised aggressively his intention obvious but since Kshin hadn't been in many battles such overconfidence was his worst enemy as FlameWizardmon punched Kshin in the face sending the youngster flying back several feet into a piece of concrete from one of the nearby crumbling buildings.
Before FlameWizardmon could turn his focus back on Mandrake, who was glaring with a look of fury fitting one that hurt someone's child but he was annoyed he couldn't do anything, Renamon had returned to the fiery wizard's line of view asking if he missed her. "Hardly. I told you to stay out of it. Looks like I'll have to show you the same lesson as the overconfident dragon child." FlameWizardmon said indicating Kshin who was groaning and clutching a shallow gash on his head. Mandrake clenched his hands into fists. Since the wound looked minor he could of healed it if he was Wizardmon. Instead he turned his focus to Lothar who had been strangely quiet this whole time. Seeing Lothar clutching his face Mandrake made his way out of cover while FlameWizardmon's attention was diverted making his way to his boyfriend. Mandrake carefully and quietly moved his way to Lothar and reached out to him when he got to his side.
Lothar was knelt on one knee breathing deep to keep calm when the sound of footsteps approaching him caused his ears to twitch wildly and a growl to form in his throat. When an artificial hand rested on his shoulder the growl ceased and Lothar's hands dropped from his face turning his head to direction of the owner of the limb. "Mandrake?"
"Yes, old friend, I'm here." Mandrake said in a calming tone.
"Mandrake I.." Lothar began as his vision, which was shrouded in darkness moments ago, was now blurry. It seemed his vision was returning and after a few more seconds it had cleared causing the Leomon to sigh with relief. Before Lothar could say anything more Mandrake held out his hand to Lothar before his boyfriend accepted the offered hand and, with Mandrake's assistance, Lothar rose to his feet.
Seeing Kshin laying on the ground and FlameWizardmon ready to incinerate Renamon caused a roar to come forth from Lothar as the Leomon charged the fire themed magician causing FlameWizardmon to turn around in time to see Lothar leaping at him with a yell of "Smashing Kick!" The heel kick was powerful and painful to watch as it met FlameWizardmon's face causing the wizard's head to jerk back before he was sent sprawling to the ground on his back with Lothar glaring down at him almost daring him to move.

"I can say the same about your intellect.". Kitsune replied smirking, looking on the FlameWizardmon like he was nothing. She didn't mind a second round of the battle, but Lothar voice has cancelled her plan. She wasn't frustrated over that at all, rather she got relaxed as her involvement in the battle wouldn't be needed. Witnessing Leomon successful attack upon the pyromaniac digimon has even increased her mood, resulting in leaving her current position and gather around the common foe. Of course, she remembered what happened with Lothar not long ago, so she tried to keep some distance from the FlameWizardmon.
Kitsune's partner didn't idle too. Just when Kshin was hit, Hans rushed to the digimon. There he picked and leaned him behind a rock in order to prevent FlameWizardmon from finishing the Gumdramon, in case the former one would go for that. As both could observe that a moment later, the Demon Man digimon won't be able to do that soon or anything at all. And it could look like almost the end of the fight, as Leomon's kick was surely strong. But Hans couldn't be that confident and was determined for a radical, yet effective suggestion.
"Let's finish him.". The tamer said coldly, looking on FlameWizardmon as he wanted to pierce him with his gaze. "Before he'll harm anyone else."

Before FlameWizardmon could return Renamon's statement he was sent on his back. The kick from Lothar was hard to watch but Mandrake knew his boyfriend was holding back. Mandrake stood a little back from Lothar and after the Dark Light attack from earlier, Lothar was more cautious as well. "Perhaps you should leave, FlameWizardmon. Be grateful Lothar held back his power or you likely would of been finished off by that kid."
Mandrake watched as Hans moved Kshin to relative safety before he heard him say let's finish him. "That's not how Lothar and I do things. No matter what wickedness a digimon does my boyfriend and I don't kill other digimon."
The sound of sirens approaching in the distance caught Mandrake and Lothar's attention and FlameWizardmon said "Fine but you'll regret being soft. This will not be the last you see of me." With that he reactivated his holosuit and ran for dear life.
Mandrake and Lothar watched as the evil wizard made himself scarce not even stopping to attempt harm on anyone. "Maybe we should clear out of hear ourselves. Unless we want to explain to the cops all the noise and damage to the area." Lothar said as he reactivated his holosuit and went over to Kshin and Hans before helping Kshin reactivate his holosuit and gently scooped the young one up in his arms.
Mandrake said "Perhaps we should find someplace to tend to Kshin's injury." Looking at Hans he said "With all that happened before FlameWizardmon arrived at your place we never underwent proper introductions. I'm Mandrake." Then while indicating both the disguised digimon respectively he said "And these are my boyfriend Lothar and our youngest son Kshin." Mandrake then started walking having a feeling Hans and Renamon didn't want to be there when the cops arrived either.

"Ungrateful.". The only word Hans spoken, watching as FlameWizardmon was fleeing. He didn't want to argue with Mandrake as the sorcerer wasn't his problem, otherwise, the problem would be resolved already. In fact, he was glad that the battle is over for now. The only concern the Swiss had is that the demon digimon now may think about Kitsune as his enemy too and may seek to get revenge. Knowing that he won't be bothered by her level, a battle between him and Renamon only would likely be not in Hans' favor. Perhaps, he should hurry in his Ninjutsu education, so he can compensate Kitsune's lack of power by clever tactics and his vixen's pinpointing strikes. And that's if the twisted wizard didn't have any allies, who can work for him as assassins. Hans didn't afraid of them, more about those who would happen to be around him by that time.
"I'm Hans, that's Kitsune. Wish I we could introduce to each another under different circumstances. Now let's get out of here.". The Swiss said, pointing to her Renamon. Mandrake was pretty right about one thing - they needed to get away from here, and fast. As a foreigner, meeting with the police is the last thing the young tamer wanted. So he opted to return home through lanes, away from the road where cops would arrive. Even if there are people who were awake already, Mandrake's guys were in holosuit, so passing along strangers should be safe. His Renamon would make her way back home just as she made her way here, allowing Hans to not worry about her at all.
"It was an honor to help you. If I can do for you anything else, find me at the Gigabite cafe at Rosewood. Most of the time I'm free, so I won't mind hanging with you one more time.". The Swiss said once the company was not so far from reaching Hans' modest mansion. It was a bit hard to say goodbye to them as in the battle Hans felt as he was doing something important. And he wanted to feel it again. At the same time, he didn't want to bother, so he just performed a small bow once his digimon landed next to him. Kitsune, who was educated by Hans, did that in unison with her partner. "I hope we meet one day again."

Mandrake had a feeling that this was not the last he would see of FlameWizardmon but, at the same time, was glad the fiery magician was gone but at what price? As they made their way back toward Hans house Lothar noticed Mandrake looking down at himself. "Don't worry, Mandrake. The spell is only temporary and will wear off at the end of the day." he said as he came up alongside Mandrake.
"No offense, old friend, but if you learned that from FlameWizardmon I would be sceptical." Mandrake said sounding drained and depressed.
Then as the group was heading back to Hans' place the others learned of the tamer's name as well as the Renamon's. "Kitsune, that means fox in Japanese right? Sounds fitting." Kshin said with a pained groan still clutching his head.
"Don't worry, Kshin, we'll tend to your injury soon." Lothar said gently.
"It's alright. I should of been more careful." Kshin groaned glad he was a digimon instead of a human at that point or he would of had far worse than a mere gash on his head and a monstrous headache. "For a small digimon he sure can hit. I was surprised."
When the group was not far from Hans' residence Hans mentioned a place in Rosewood called the Gigabyte Café. "I wouldn't mind checking out that café one day. Perhaps when we next meet I'll be back to my normal self. Thank you for helping me and goodbye." he said as Mandrake's family parted ways from Hans and Kitsune. Soon the trio found their way to the Trailmon station and boarded one that would drop them off near where they started from.
As the sat down inside the Trailmon Lothar got out the first aid kit and began tending to Kshin's head wound. It was not as bad as it initially looked which put both Mandrake and Lothar at ease. Kshin, who was sitting up, now had other thoughts in his head now that Mandrake was safe. "Uh Mandrake. Lothar. I need to talk to you about something important."
"What is it, Kshin?" Mandrake asked turning to look down so Kshin could make eye contact.
"I was thinking of wanting to go to school like LJ. Not only that I was also thinking of setting off on my own. After my head heals of course." Kshin said which somewhat caught Mandrake and Lothar by surprise but when the pair looked back on things it wasn't that surprising. Kshin had come a long way from being the frightened orphan with separation anxiety that they first met. Kshin had become more independant if a bit overconfident but they figured in time Kshin would have better discipline at it.
Lothar then spoke up as if knowing what Mandrake was thinking. "We understand, Kshin. We knew you wouldn't be dependant on us forever."
"I'll visit sometimes like LJ and I'll also practice my magic tricks since I know I still have a lot to learn." Kshin said hugging both Mandrake and Lothar.
Soon the trio arrived at the Trailmon station where Lothar left the car and climbed in driving back to The Village of Magic and informed Theron on what happened when they arrived. Fortunately FlameWizardmon's words concerning the spell being temporary were true as the end of the day eventually came and Mandrake returned to his Wizardmon form. Packing the clothes he was borrowing from Hans into the Infinity Store he was determined to return them when they next met.
