It would be a nicer occasion that Viki’s family had been invited over to dinner for the two to be talking about business. Among the guests to the dinner that Viki brought with her were the orange haired young lady that had to end her stream early in the evening because the young lady asked her to accompany her and a pink haired young girl that was happier to spend some time looking at the ornate walls and studying them before she sat down at the table next to Vera. Yet, the heiress had eaten a little bit of her fill of the dinner served before she had to wander off to find something to do in boredom, Iris and Vera finished up their beef steak before the two of them followed Viki to find that the young woman found a room with virtual reality equipment. As Viktoriya would walk inside, there were helmets that allowed the system to put anyone in time periods that one wanted to be in. The two disguised Digimon looked at each other and saw that the tamer put on the helmet after sitting on the chair, so they both sat on opposite sides and put on the helmets too. Beforehand, the female teen wanted to see what Stalinist Russia was like on the setting on her helmet, so the trio of human and Digimon were sent back in time to 1924, the year that Stalin had come to power... Ending up on the streets of Leningrad, they could see many of the Russian people selling their wares in stores and the gossip that the legend of one of the Tsar’s daughters surviving would demolish the state secret that the Soviet Union protected. It had been some time after Arthur's rather ostentatious birthday party celebration at his family's estate and during that occasion, he and his family had gotten to know their current business partners, namely "Viktoriya Romanova" and her parents, "Ivan Romanov" and "Elizabeth Romanova" among other guests as well. Since then, talks had begun about the prospect of a major business deal between the multinational business conglomerates owned and operated by the business groups led by these two families. That brings the story up to present day wherein, Arthur and his parents, "Uther Holmes" and "Kushinada Holmes", had invited Viktoriya and her parents over to their estate once more for a much more private dinner not only as a social courtesy, but also as a means to further the talks that had been going on till then about the upcoming business deal between them.
It had taken a lot of preparation time once again due to the significance of the event, but at long last the time for the dinner was upon all parties involved. Thanks to the preparations made by Arthur, the dinner had been going smoothly as were the talks between his parents and those of Viktoriya. However, at some point, Arthur had to step out to handle another "situation" and so was absent for a while afterwards. When he returned, however, he noticed that Viktoriya was nowhere to be seen at the dining table, so when he inquired, he came to know that she had wandered off for the purposes of exploration of the rather sizeable estate owned by Arthur and his family. Then, upon instructions to go find her to bring her back so that the dinner could be finished, Arthur set off to do just that. It did not take him too long as the security maid squad had alerted him to Viktoriya being in the VR technology testing facility within the Technological Research and Development Department's area along with two others.
Once he knew that, Arthur made his way there and upon arrival, he spotted Viktoriya and her friends who had already put on the new experimental VR headset and were running the historical reconstruction software regarding a certain time in Russia's past before Stalin had come to power, but was designed to explore the possibilities that would have stemmed from the survival of the Romanov tsar family's daughter, "Anastasia Romanova" and her trusted aide, namely "Grigori Rasputin". This was being developed by the techies under the employ of the business conglomerate owned and operated by Arthur and his family upon request from a famous museum of history located in Tokyo, but it was still in its developmental stages, so Arthur felt it best to dive into that VR world as well so that he could forestall any problems from happening. To that end, he too put on the VR headset and let the program take him into the same VR world that Viktoriya was in currently, namely that of Leningrad, Russia in 1924.
Once there, Arthur found himself in the role of "Grigori Rasputin" and at present his avatar seemed to be searching for Viktoriya's VR persona, namely "Anastasia Romanova" who was his charge. He had not been able to be at her side due to having to escape from yet another assassination attempt by the Bolshevik assassins sent after him, but fortune had smiled on him again and let him live through it, albeit making him look worse for wear. It took him a little while but he found her at last, wandering the streets of Leningrad, so he headed up to her and alerted her to his presence by covertly whispering to her in an urgent tone of voice to emphasize his concern for her wellbeing
Milady, what do you think you are doing? If our enemies find you, then all will be lost, you know. Your parents gave their lives so that you and I could escape the sordid fate that befell them. Please do not wander off like that again...

The aide of the Russian Imperial Family’s voice came to greet the last princess of Russia with worry over the enemies of Communist Russia finding out if the last of the Tsar’s heirs escaped the execution, she turned to Rasputin with a solemn nod. “Do not worry, friend. I am well aware that the communist officers are looking to see if the rumors of the last heiress surviving is true or not.” Viktoriya’s VR avatar, Anastasia, spoke though she was worried that they were going to find her and bring her to a fate that was resigned for political enemies.
Vera and Iris played the part of Anastasia’s servants, they saw the officers coming onto the streets as Iris tugged onto the sleeve of the princess’ dress. “They’re here, Anya! We should hide somewhere...” The small girl ran over to the alleyways with Vera taking the hand of the princess they served to hide from the incoming army officers.
From the distance of the alleyways, the locals were questioned whether they saw a young woman in a dress claimed to be the last Grand Duchess of Russia around the streets. The entire family was believed to be dead...except that they were missing one of the heirs that somehow escaped the state execution from the House of Special Purpose. She knew the officers weren’t going to risk the White Army trying to rally behind the last heirs to the throne, yet she wanted to get outside Russia...
To escape this communist hell and seek safety in England or America, that was her plan.

At the notice of Viktoriya's VR avatar Anastasia's servants who were being played by Viktoriya's two friends, Arthur who was current in the guise of her trusted aide, Rasputin, looked up and also saw the communist officers coming down the street, questioning everyone about the surviving heiress to the Romanov line.
Curses, they managed to close the distance this quickly? Oh well, time to hide again.
He thought silently as he too ran from the streets into the nearby alleyway with her and her servants to hide from the officers searching for all of them. Then, he kept half of his attention on the sounds coming from the streets and the other on his compatriots as he advised them
It would be wise to get some clothes to disguise ourselves since the officers know these outfits of ours too well, Milady. I can go contact one of my associates who is a vendor of all sorts of garments, so we can perhaps choose ones that are less conspicuous for us all.
After that, he fell silent to await her decision and that of her two servants as well while keeping an eye out for the approach of trouble in the form of those officers who were currently looking for their group.

Rasputin’s suggestion of disguising themselves made the last heiress to the Russian throne nod. “I feel that would be best, not only that, but the White Army officers are being captured and tortured because they were trying to counter the communist regime.” She responded to her side, the fact that the jewel encrusted dress she wore to the family’s execution site gave her away. There was much plans to be done with having the White Army try to take back their country from the current leading party.
The two other Servants had a small look from the alley outside, both could hear the shouts in Russian over the officers being seen with two White Army officers and dragging them to be tortured for information. That uniform of the Whites was unmistakable, they were looking for the last heir to the Russian throne to rally behind. Yet, the entire mission was dangerous because the state secret the state tried to cover up would let the imperialists have a symbol to take back their country.
“Your associate should cause a commotion and have him bring the two officers to me. They must have tried to save the other members of my family and went into hiding, but they are caught now.” The princess whispered the order as the two ladies in waiting looked at each other for a moment before waiting on Rasputin’s response. At this time, the two were disguised Digimon which were creatures the communists haven’t known about.
Her father, mother, sisters, and younger brother were gone now. A surge of confidence washed over her in spite of the fear being found out as the last heiress to take the throne, she was ready to do or die. The Whites were her only chance to take back the once proud Russian Empire from the clutches of the communist state that replaced it.

Arthur as Rasputin nodded back to Viktoriya who was playing Anastasia currently in acknowledgement of her order and confirmed it verbally as well
Understood, Milady. I shall execute your will to the best of my abilities and shall ensure that my comrade does the same as well.
He briefly bowed to her with his hand on his chest above his heart and then led the trio with him consisting of Viktoriya as Anastasia and her two servants down the alleyway as covertly as he could until finally, they came out the other side at a rather ill-frequented and exclusive clothing shop. Once there, he led them inside and instructed his comrade who was the owner of the establishment to outfit each of them with clothes which would make it easy for them to blend into the crowd outside which had been gathering and protesting the communist officers' treatment of the White Army personnel who were their prisoners. Once that was done, he instructed said owner of the establishment who happened to be a part of the White Army and a staunch supporter and fervent admirer of the Romanovs to protect the princess and her servants while he went about completing the task the princess had given to him.
"Please wait here till I return, Milady. It is not yet safe enough for you to venture out. I shall go retrieve the two White Army personnel and bring them back as soon as possible."
With that, he took his leave of Viktoriya who was playing Anastasia and of her two friends who were playing the princess's servants and then headed off into the streets and coordinated with his cohorts who had already arrived on scene and mingled with the crowd through prearranged signals to rapidly foment a massive riot which sowed utter chaos and confusion through the area where the communist officers were passing through with the White Army prisoners. To exacerbate the tumult of the situation, he and his cohorts hid themselves and then hurled smoke bombs into the crowd, causing a thick and obscuring smokescreen to blanket the area for some time afterwards. Then, Arthur as Rasputin along with his cohorts knocked out the communist officers in charge of the White Army prisoners and then escorted said prisoners out of the area and the panicking crowd therein and led them as covertly as possible towards the same clothing vendor's establishment the princess and her servants were waiting for them. Upon arrival, all of them took a knee before the princess while the establishment owner made sure to draw the curtains and shut all the windows to prevent anyone on the outside from eavesdropping on their meeting with the princess.
"Milady, I, your ever faithful aide and guardian Rasputin, have finished the task you have entrusted me with and have returned to your side with our dear comrades of the White Army. We are all awaiting your further orders. You need only give the word and your royal will shall be done by us, your eternally loyal followers."
The two White Army personnel and the owner of the establishment all joined in chorus with Arthur as Rasputin, promising their utmost efforts to Anastasia's cause. Then, they all fell silent to await her instructions.

There was commotion among the crowd of people on the streets, the chaos within the smoke caused by the smoke bombs was enough for the extraction of the two White Army prisoners from the grasp of the communist soldiers to take the group to the clothing vendor. Vera and Iris were given clothing by the vendor who did hide the flag of the old Russian Empire in his shop before all of the people who were loyal to the exiled princess’ cause knelt before her. They all awaited for the order of the last heiress to retake the Russian Empire and drive back the communists that dared to trample onto the monarchy.
“Now that we are all here, we must gather the other royalists that are willing to give us numbers to take back the proud Russian Empire from the current ruling party. Onward to the Russian Empire’s victory!” Anastasia began to pump her fist into the air with her declaration, there was much to be done with the slow retaking of the country.
Though the road will be long with the communists having a tight grip onto the country, the Whites had proceeded with the plan to gather the royalists for a fight in restoring the Russian Empire.
Accordingly, this ends the tale of the myth concerning the lost Grand Duchess of Russia.

As Viktoriya playing Anastasia raised the cry of revolution to start the long process of taking back Russia from the communists and eventually reinstating the old tsarist regime, Arthur as Rasputin led her followers in hailing her declaration most vociferously. Thankfully, however, even with as much noise as they were all making, the thick and very opaque drapes hanging over the curtains and the soundproof construction of the walls of the clothing vendor's establishment prevented anyone on the outside from listening in and so they were able to cheer on their Grand Duchess to their hearts' content.
After that, the next-gen AI that was designed to run the simulation started to shut down the program and booted both Viktoriya, her two friends, and Arthur out of the virtual world and powered down the VR headsets, thus releasing their bodies in the real world from the induced sensory isolation state it had put them all in when they first began the simulation. So, Arthur was the first one to wake up and then, he got out of his seat and after stowing the VR headset safely, he waited for Viktoriya and her two friends to join him and after they did, he led them all back to where their respective families were discussing the finalization of the business deal and the preparations for the next phase therein in the formal dining hall over dinner.
On the way, he inquired of Viktoriya curiously since he wanted her feedback to hand over to the VR tech development department so they could use it to improve the program and hypothetical simulation further on the way towards the eventually planned full release, aka the alpha version
"Well, that was certainly an interesting enough start for the beta, wouldn't you say, Ms. Romanova? Do you perhaps have any suggestions and feedback you would like me to give to the VR tech and software development department on your behalf so they can use that improve this simulation?"

Back to reality, the three girls turned off the system and put back the helmets onto their chairs with the host of the estate leading them back to where her parents had been talking about finalizing a business deal with the other. Iris and Vera would go back to their chairs and eat the food, not that they minded the warmth of their dinner going cold a little bit. At least, Arthur had asked for feedback on how to improve the beta development of the virtual reality system which was a bit new to the modern era today.
“While I enjoyed the historical parts, I feel that if there were more periods to explore, the public would even be at the time the dinosaurs roamed the earth.” Viki replied with a small nod, maybe the system his company was working on could achieve that sometime later.
