‘What is this hell I exist in?’ thought Yugo as he mindlessly walked in the circle he was allowed to exist in. If he tried to go farther then that, he would be violently pulled back to the very center of the circle and lose about three days trying to remove himself from the tangle of chains he always found himself in. Despite freeing himself from them, he couldn’t break the final chain that bound him around the neck. And no matter what he did to it, trees, rocks, even his own attack phased through it as if it didn’t exist. For nearly 3 years he had been bound to this small area, only able to make it about 50 or so meters around the center in every direction, even down. He cursed himself for killing those terriormons, for shortly after their death he was bound to this spot by this damn chain, and his body had undergone its evolution into Rookie form, causing a strange mutatuon that caused him to suffer from this chain-bound state.
To a violent Digimon such as Yugo, being forced to stay in one area this long was nothing shirt of hell for the little rabbit formed body. He had eaten and beaten almost everything that came into his territory, and even with the few scraps that wandered in, he was still starving. The never ending hunger that knawed at his insides and told him to consume until there was nothing left was constantly in his ears now. He had even taken to chewing on his own ears, but he couldn’t even draw a bit of data from it and it only made his hunger worse as he walked this small circle every day. What else would he need to break free finally? What else could he do to free himself of the hell that he was living? The young Lopmon was unsure what else he could do besides rage against anything and everything that came into his circle. His violent personality made it hard for him to understand the idea of working with someone, unless they were far more powerful then him. However, then that was a different fight all together. If they were that strong, he had little choice but to run and run and run until they got bored of him or left to find other pray. He hated it, that feeling of weakness was nothing but a living hell for Yugo.

"Are you sure we're going the right way, Hawkeye?" Kaya asked her partner as three separate sounds of footsteps could be heard through the Server Woods. Instead of her Knight uniform, today she was wearing her everyday wear: an orange tanktop with a blue denim vest, a blue denim skirt, black knee-high socks and brown shoes. She was also wearing her usual hat and pink fingerless gloves. "I don't really think I've seen this part of the Server Woods before."
"This entire forest looks the exact same to me," the archer Falcomon Kohaku said as he followed the duo, with his little Yokomon sister Ruri in his wings. "Is coming down here even that important?"
"Yes, it is that important," the Hawkmon Hawkeye said. "Eizo and I had a special spot near a river in the Server Woods, and I like to go down there from time to time to honor him."
"Oh... right..." Kohaku muttered, knowing how much of a touchy subject this Eizo person was.
"Besides, we should be there any second now. I'm not Luna, after all, I know where I'm going," Hawkeye continued, earning a laugh from both Kaya and Kohaku. The Lekismon they were referring to was hilariously bad with directions, after all.
However, something caught their interest as they were walking by. It looked like a Lopmon... only it was caught up in chains for whatever reason. It looked like it was trying to free itself from the chains but was just unable to do so for whatever reason. "Hawkeye, look at that Lopmon, we need to help him," Kaya told her partner before she ran up to the chained rabbit-like Digimon.
"Kaya, wait, no-" Hawkeye tried to argue back, sensing some very bad vibes from that Lopmon. However, Kaya didn't listen to him, and she walked up to the trapped Digimon anyways.
"Oh my gosh, you poor thing," Kaya said to the poor Lopmon as she kneeled beside him, "what happened? Why are you all chained up like this?"

The sounds of footsteps in the woods drew Yugos attention, he stopped his endless pacing and lifted his ears into the air as he listened for the direction they were coming from. Not only could he hear footsteps… he could hear talking. His eyes widened as his ears fell back to the ground, he knew the direction know and he didn’t break his gaze from the way it came from. The hunger was growing quickly as the sound of life came toward him. His tiny clawed hands curled into fists as he watched three figured exist the woods. He saw two digimon he didn’t recognize and wasn’t even sure if they were from the forest he was currently in. One was a bright white and red with a feather headpiece and with large yellow talons that ended in white claws that looked quite sharp. The other had a darker feather color, with blue claw like ends to their arms and wearing some strange blue clothing. It was smaller then the other, and looked weaker. But Yugo knew appearances could be lies.
However it was the third that approched that drew Yugos atttention. He turned as she drew closer and as she got within range he reacted without hesitation. Pulling back one of his ears and throwing it like a punch, the chain tattoos that covered its body appeared in full, causing a large chained mouth to shoot forward in an attempt to swallow the girl whole. He didn’t know what that creature was, or even what a human was. But he was so hungry it didn’t matter. The fact that she looked soft and edible made him unable to resist his hunger any longer as he attacked her without hesitation. The chain would shoot out as the massive maw opened up ready to chomp into her with its large white teeth that looked like those of a sharks. But as he did that, he felt the chain pulling on him slightly. But he resisted its pull back and dug his feet into the ground. He had technically left his radius with the attack, but with food so close finally he could not let himself be taken away so quickly.
Technique:
Consuming Chain: the user holds up at least one of their ears as if they were going to punch with it and by punching forward, a large chain held ball flies forward with a large chomping mouth attacked to the ball, that will attempt to eat the target whole, dealing damage before spitting them back out. This attack won't swallow eat higher level Digimon, but it will steal try to bite at them. Cool down of zero

The tension rose when Kaya went over to see how she could help the poor struggling Lopmon. As it turned out, this Lopmon wasn't as poor or as struggling as she originally thought. The Lopmon pulled back its ear as if it were going to throw a punch, the chain tattoos on his fur now fully realizing. Kaya looked at the Lopmon in horror as she tried to crawl away, as the chains formed a big and scary mouth. Kaya closed her eyes, covered her face and screamed as the large chained mouth shot out towards her. "AAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"KAYA!!!" Hawkeye yelled as he ran in, pushing Kaya out of the way and allowing himself to be eaten up by the large chain. The poor bird could feel those white, sharp teeth stabbing him in the process.
"HAWKEYE!" Kaya cried as she got up, now out of harm's way thanks to her partner's sacrifice. "Oh my god, Hawkeye...!"
What the hell...?! Kohaku thought, keeping his distance and hugging Ruri closer to him. That Digimon just... just fuckin' ATE him!
The large chain mouth would chew on Hawkeye for a certain amount of time before, thankfully, spitting him out onto the ground, with very clear bite marks all around his body as he was starting to lightly bleed. "Ooooourgh... that was not a pleasant experience..."
"Hawkeye, a-are you alright?!" Kaya asked, afraid to get within grabbing range of that Lopmon now.
"Aside from the many bite marks and the fact that I was turned into dinner," Hawkeye growled as he attempted to pick himself up, "I'll admit that I've felt worse in the past."
"HEY, YOU! EXPLAIN YOURSELF!" Kohaku yelled at the chained Lopmon. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!"

Yugo felt for a moment the satifaction of eating with his chains, the hunger faded for jsut a second as the chain mouth chewed on its victim before spitting them out and dissapearing. The hunger however, came rushing back in a bad way. It wasn’t enough to satisfy him, not even close. The little data he had drawn from the digimon barely scratched the surface of his hunger and made it even worse now that he had gotten a taste of it. Yugo groaned in pain as he fell to his knees, being dragged little by little by the chain by violating his punishments circle. He dug his front claws and ears into the ground and strained as best he could to fight back. The voices of hunger in his mind were yelling at this point as he tried his damnest to be able to attack again. But if he let go of the ground with even an ear hed be pulled away from his food. But the hunger just grew worse.
”MAKE….IT….STOP!….NOT….ENOUGH…..MORE!!!! MOOOOOOREEEE!!!!!!!” he struggled so hard that blood erupted from his nostrals as he fought against the chain around his neck pulling on him. His eyes said it all, he was starving. Starving and willing to eat just about anything as in despiration he lifted an ear to try to attack again, only to be pulled hard and violently back deeper into the forest. His scream of hunger and frustraion echoed out into the woods before being followed by the vicious impact of his body against something out of sight. He was bound to a rock by the chain now, his struggles would be pointless unless someone freed him before the three day time limit. But with food so close he struggled non the less even as tears of anger and need fell from his eyes.
“Curse you! Curse you you damn terriormons! You did this to me! Let me eat! LET ME FEED!” he yelled out and thrashed and struggled against the rock he was bound to, but after a short while he broke down into tears filled with misery. “Let me go… I didn’t mean to eat you… I didn’t mean to end up like this! I jsut want to be strong! To be free!” little did he know it was not the terriormon who did this to him, but something far worse and stemming from the moment of his birth.

Seeing the weak state that her partner was in, Kaya would quickly run up and grab Hawkeye before getting out of the scary Lopmon's range just as quickly. Hawkeye wasn't looking very good, as the bite marks were all still visible on the bird's body, and he looked as if his energy was almost completely drained. "I'll be fine, Kaya," Hawkeye insisted, "just a bit of rest and I should be good to go..."
"You sensed something bad about the Digimon and I didn't listen, didn't you?" Kaya asked, on the verge of crying. "I'm so sorry, Hawkeye..."
Hawkeye chuckled a bit. "Don't be sorry... you're a caring human. That's just who you are, and I like that about you. Besides, you have me to get you out of any real trouble, after all..."
Suddenly the sounds of "MAKE IT STOP!" would grab the group's attention towards the Lopmon, who seemed to be fighting against whatever chain was pulling it back. Blood could be seen coming from their nostrils as well. It looked like it was in pain, and judging from their previous actions it was more than likely starving. Starving for other life forms, it seemed. The Lopmon yelled so loud that it echoed throughout the woods, causing Kaya and Kohaku to hold their respective loved ones tighter.
"This is bad," Kohaku said.
"We need to get the other Knights, I think," Kaya suggested. The Lopmon continued to cry and scream, first cursing a group of Terriermons for putting him in this situation, then crying about how he was sorry that he ate them, that he just wanted to be strong and to be free. "Eating other people and Digimon is not the right way to get stronger!" Kaya yelled at the Lopmon. "Maybe you were cursed to be chained up like this for good reason! After what you did to my partner, why do you deserve to be free?!"

The sounds of the female reached his ears, and Yugos head shot up, his eyes bloodshot as he growled in pained hunger. All his life, from the very moment he had been hatched had been nothing but hunger. He didn’t want to eat everything, he didn’t even know why he was like this. He could only think it was some cruel act of what ever made this world to torture him with this hunger. He couldn’t answer her questions, he was barely holding on to what little sanity the young digimon had. Every fur stood on end, and his eyes widened to be like saucers. The chains pulled tighter, but it was too late as the starving Digimons ears broke free of the chains wrapping them to the rock and formed a circle above his head clasping like hands. As he screamed loudly, and then lost his scream to the forming wind chains shot out from his body and into the ground as a massive ball of darkness formed in the center of the circle.
The air within 25 meters of the Digimon grew heavy as streaks of darkness exploded out like black lightning all over the battlefield, attempting to devour the life from anything around them. The darkness struck tree and rock and plant alike as he tried desperately to eat the trio. The chains were unaffected by the lightning and it was clear that the young digimon didn’t even understand what he was doing. He was running purely on instinct alone. Yugos body, if it did not get to eat and even if it did, was beyond exhausted and this technique did not help as he finally fell from his own draining power and reverted to his in training form. The small ball of fur and horns was still attached to the rock, pinned by chains as thick as its body and unable to even move. He was unconscious and asleep.
TECH:
Gluttonous Predator: THIS MOVE IS A OPT AND AS SUCH CAN ONLY BE USED ONE PER THREAD. The user binds themself to the ground using their chains as anchors. As they fold their ears into a circle above their head, causing a strange darkness to form. This darkness will shoot out and attempt to DEVOUR everything within 25 meters. This darkness will consume plants, animals, even minerals in an attempt to find something that it can actually eat, allowing the user to heal themselves while taking away from the targets this hits. For the rest of the thread or until knocked out, The user gains the Attributes, Family, and Type of the targets as well as their own. Example: being both a Data and a Virus type after using this move on a Virus type enemy.

Kaya felt as if she had made a grave mistake the moment the Lopmon's bloodshot eyes glared up at her. Her own eyes widened as she stepped back a bit, still holding onto Hawkeye. The chains holding the Lopmon back had now officially broken off, screaming as a huge ball of darkness began to form. Kaya and Kohaku would both look at each other before deciding now was a good time to just start running.
Sadly, the two did not get too far as soon as the black lightning started to strike. Two streaks of lightning hit both Kaya and Kohaku right in the back, causing them both to scream and drop the ones they were holding, Hawkeye and Ruri, right onto the ground. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
"Kaya!" "Big Brother!"
They both watched in horror as their loved ones screamed in agony before, eventually, they both fell to the ground unconscious. Shortly after, they would see that the Lopmon himself had lost all energy as well, reverting back to its in-training form and passing out as well. Kaya and Kohaku were passed out on the ground, Hawkeye was too weak to move much and Ruri was too young to run off on her own... yeah, this group was more of less screwed.
But Hawkeye wasn't willing to give up so easily. Despite his injuries, he would painstakingly crawl over to his unconscious partner, grabbing her D-Terminal and opened up Tamernet, messaging the Knights leader Silence immediately, sending this message alongside their coordinates:
[BowArrow: SOS! SOS! Need assistance now!]

Silence was more or less just going over paperwork in vander tower when her knight’s ‘device’ went off. She’d blink a little bit and reach over to it; usually these were saved for when the patrols that often went out needed to contact those back home. But the current tone that was going on was something that reminded her of an S.O.S. The shutmon’s brows furrowed and she’d note the brevity of the message. Grimacing the shutmon moved towards the teleport bay that was located at the top of the tower. Normally it was used for the team portal device, but it in a pinch was large enough to hold many individuals of many sizes. Which is why it was a prime location for someone to go up there and use an ability such as her. The shutmon passed off her papers to garlond on her way up; fitting the device over her hand and quickly getting to the top of the tower. Being the ‘leader’ had some perks. One of those perks being… When you had a genuine problem you needed genuine solutions. That solution for this event would be her jesmon form. Capable of traveling literally anywhere in the entirety of the digital realm she would in fact be there neigh instantly. The shutmon took a ready stance, digivolving into her jesmon form without much more than a word. Her sense heightened, her eyes narrowed and she could pick up on the distant signals of the knights in trouble. Server woods? That was where they were calling from? Something must have happened to prompt her to be called. Something dangerous. Growling to herself the jesmon vanished from the top of vander tower…
Only to arrive at the scene ready to fight whatever needed to be. Her signal was oppressive, overwhelming and would definitely be something that everyone in the area would notice. If there were birds they stopped chirping, if there were neredowells around they’d go and hide. Bandits? They wouldn’t dare fight something like this. Icy blue eyes scanned around the locale and finding her knights the jesmon slowly hovered down from the air and took a knee. She noted that Kaya and Kohaku were passed out; but Hawkeye seemed to be alive. She’d reach down with a hand, easily able to scoop him up. ”REPORT.”Her voice was loud, abrasive. Full of what you'd expect from someone to recieve an S.O.S. The jesmon's eyes flicked around ready and raring to go. To defend her people and those that needed it from harm... Well. From further harm.
Log: -Silence arrives! Move: Valhalla's Coridor: This digimon may teleport great distances out of combat as well as near infinitely. Within Combat the concentration required is much higher, making it able to only manage up to One hundred feet and only every two posts regardless if it had taken damage or not. Blades of the Faithful Dissipate and must be re-summoned if the host teleports out of their range. |

Thankfully Silence wouldn't be too far behind after Hawkeye made the SOS call. He and Ruri would lie there for a few moments before she teleported to their location, in her Jesmon form no less. Hawkeye and Ruri looked up at her as she descended down closer to them. She definitely noticed that Kaya and Kohaku were knocked out, and proceeded to scoop up Hawkeye in one hand, asking him for a report on the situation.
"It happened so suddenly," Hawkeye explained, in a weak voice as he was still badly hurt. "We were walking through the woods when we saw this Lopmon chained up. Kaya went over to try to talk to him and... and then the Lopmon summoned chains that formed into a mouth. It was about to eat Kaya before I-" Hawkeye winced in pain. "-before I pushed her out of the way."
"Then... something bizarre happened. The Lopmon created this large ball of darkness, and the black lightning that shot out of it seemed to drain the energy of whatever it touches. Kaya and Kohaku tried to run, but they were both hit... we need serious medical attention, and I didn't know who else to contact."
"I-Is my brother going to be okay?" The little Yokomon Ruri asked Silence, looking at the Jesmon with big puppy dog eyes.

The report that silence got added up pretty well, she’d glance at the lopmon that had summoned some large ball of darkness. Her head tilted and her eyes assessed the individual for a moment up until Hawkeye said that they needed serious medical attention. Rolling her shoulders the jesmon adjusted, the sheathes on her arm started to vibrate and out of them? Energy petals started filling the space around her. There was a thousand or so of them and with a wave of her hand they would float over to the varied injured parties.
Kaya, Kohaku and hawkeye would be the targets. One after another they would find their body emboldened and any wounds, both external and internal would be flooded with a powerful healing light. This form was incredibly varied and the petals wouldn’t heal as much as her omegashutmon but time was of the essence and she wasn’t about to waste it.
”Understood. Then it would behoove us to figure out what drove this lopmon to attack someone trying to help them. Cause and effect.”
Silence would let that healing energy soak into the three before eventually de-digivolving down into her renamon form. Stretching and groaning a bit as she felt her shoulder pop. The rookie was dressed in her knight uniform, armor on her left arm included… Even though it was a prosthetic it paid to have it protected.
”Don’t do too much until holly gets to check you all out later. She might not be a knight properly yet but she’s not as busy as our ‘usual’ one.”
The renamon would approach yugo, studying him and frowning. There was a lot here that she didn’t fully understand and the rookie glanced back at the rest of them. Her frown was more pertinent…
”Any civilians to speak of?”

The darkness that he found himself in was murky. Strange flashes of images he didn’t fully understand worked their way through his mind as he soon awoke to the sound of something. He didn’t understand it was the sound of a digimon returning to a weaker form, he was to young and inexperiance to know what that sound meant. He groaned softly, his in training body was weak still and despite being chained to the rock, it was barely able to help itself sliding down to the ground as the chains relaxed in the presence of Silence. It was as if the chains knew there was no reason to hold him back. The Kokomon itself no longer had the tattooed chains it once had, and despite the chain it was attached to it was no longer chained up,
Its eyes slowly opened as it looked up at the renamon and weakly clicked its teeth together. The hunger was still strong, and it was now in a lesser form causing it to feel more primal. It was clear the hunger was artifical, but the cause was not so clear. Its innocent eyes looked up and its small body tried to bite the lead knights boot, only to find the metal protecting it could not be bitten through. Yugo was too weak to use any abilities, and too weak even to speak. Shortly after its attempted attack it would pass out again, before groaning in pain as it woke up once more from the hunger. The chain was artifical as well, and seemed to be made of…Human data? What ever data it was it was not from that world and as such had a different signature then the natural data one might find in the area. It didn’t even have a trace of terriormon data within it. But it held a strange and twisted signature that made it clear to anyone who could sense it, the chain was not placed there for any good purpose.

Upon the request for medical attention, the sheathes on Silence's arms would glow before energy petals filled the space around her, gravitating themselves towards Kaya, Hawkeye and Kohaku. Hawkeye alone could feel his injuries heal up extremely fast, and it was enough that he felt like he could actually start to walk again. "That truly helped," Hawkeye said as he rubbed his abdomen where his injuries used to be. "Thank you, Silence."
It wouldn't be long before Kaya and Kohaku's eyes started to twitch and open, the two of them waking up at roughly the same time. As soon as Kohaku sat up, he would suddenly be glomped by Ruri and knocked right back down. "BIG BROTHER!" she would cheer as she hopped up and down on the Falcomon's stomach. "You're okay you're okay you're okay!"
"O-Of course I'm okay," Kohaku said with a chuckle as he patted his sister on the head, "a little shrimp like that couldn't take me down for very long."
Kaya smiled as she watched the interaction between Kohaku and Ruri, it was very heart-warming to her. She would then start to look around for Hawkeye before seeing the big Jesmon by them. "Oh my-" Kaya blurted out, just surprised to see a Jesmon of all Digimon there with them.
"Kaya, it's alright, this is Silence," Hawkeye reassured the teen as he flew down to the ground, right before Silence herself devolved into her Renamon form, warning the others to not do too much until Holly can check them all out later, referring to the ones that were injured. "Right. And no, there were no other humans or Digimon present."
"But the Lopmon... he said that he ate a group of Terriermons before he made that ball of darkness attack," Kaya said, as that information was more than likely crucial.

Silence found her eyes narrowing a little bit as she noted that the kokomon’s eyes were opening, clicking it’s teeth together and… She felt that urge of hunger from it. She understood that hunger; she had it herself in her omegashutmon form thanks to a battle against a grand opponent that had been maddened by it. She felt like the digital world had enough suffering based around that hunger and tutted as she felt the teeth against her boot.
Kind of amusing that it couldn’t bite through it and she’d reach down to pick it up with her gauntlented hand. Inspecting the kokomon for a few moments and frowning as she could sense that data. This was not a good thing. The artificial chains resonated and she felt like she could understand what the other was going through. Shaking her head she’d glance at the others. Smiling a bit as Hawkeye thanked her.
”Anytime. Here I was thinking I was in for some crazy fight but instead here I am holding a kokomon and tending to your wounds. Hmm?”
Silence turned her head to to kaya as she told her that information. The lopmon had eaten a group of terriermons? Loading was against some of the prime principals of civilization and silence sighed. She had broken that covenant once herself but only to help someone who had suffered.
”I’m sensing some other things from them. Not entirely sure what but I want to look into this. This isn’t the first case of a hunger based mon. It’s been more than a year since I fought the rasenmon fury mode but…”
She’d inspect the little bugger that she was holding, frowning again and just shaking her head.
”Coulda sworn that he had chains on him…”

As Yugo was gently picked up, he struggled and flailed in the rookies grasp. But he couldn’t break free. He tried to attack and bite everything he could with little luck. He growled at her and his eyes said it all. He had never been part of the civil digital world. He had always been fighting for survival with no one by his side. The Kokomon hisses and bit and tried to escape with all its power. It soon found itself hanging limply in the renamons grip before finally looking back up at it, its eyes showing it wasn’t defeated, but was to tired to keep struggling. His tail tip moved around as he looked the Renamon up and down. He grumbled weakly and didn’t say a word. However, he did look around at the strange upside down world. The chain still around its body as it hung there without any way to deal with its new situation. He wondered if he would be eaten, or if they would leave him there to lick his wounds. The chain was touchable to everyone except Yugo, but when it was touched the malive in its coding could be felt.
He then looked at the others and after hearing the girls comment and the conversation it caused, he would say loud enough to be heard. “I ate them almost…3 years ago. Ive been chained here ever sense… im so hungry…., please… if your going to eat me… jsut do it quickly. I don’t want to be hungry anymore.”
